I am a zomato customer with mobile number [protected]. I ordered from a restaurent but since my mobile is not reachable, the delivery boy or company cancelled my order. When i called delivery boy, he told to talk to company. Customer care is totally careless. They told the order is returned to restaurent. But i did not get refund. Customer care gave me a mail id and the response is same as in customer care chat. Totally careless attitude.

The order is clearly mentioned and it is easily reachable. Previous order of mine was delivered direct to door and my mobile is not reachable then. But what happened this time i do not know

    #[protected].. Hello i ordered from this restaurant and zomato cancelled my order so what’s my faulty in that.. So why i have to pay penalty.. Seriously now i m done with zomato.. Thank u for serving me.. I m just uninstalling it. And will give the same feedback to others i order from shere punjab.

I received my order a bit late and then delivery boy is not ready to order at my destination he is asking more money and after that he is saying to me to cancel that order as he can’t deliver to my place after that the quality of food was very poor and my roomate is getting vomiting after eating that spoiled food.. Is this the way to deal with your customers

      I have paid for this order which I have mentioned above but due to some reasons my phone was not reachable
      Order was automatically canceled but they should take only cancelation charges but in this case whole amount has been looted, I have called immediately when I get sms from zomato, delivery boy told it was canceled and money will be refunded but while checking with chat support they told it will not, I also asked I will collect directly from the restaurant which I have paid for but chat support and restaurant guys refused. I don't understand I have paid but am not getting food or refund or partial refund this is very worst. Swiggy and uber eats are more reliable, Zomato is very worst. Chat support very very very worst. In chat I have contacted for more than 6 hours, if required please audit that. I need solution for this or other wise you will see many losses.

        I have ordered full paneer butter masala but the quantity I received it's very less. I have already attached the picture of the order and you can see the packing is very poor and they way branding tape was sealed was doubtful. I am made to write this complaint to you because Zomato chat service people always type the scripted lines with very lame excuse.
        I feel like my money was robbed by them and no one is there to listen to my side.
        I am requesting to you please do the needful to that in-fututre, so they can take strong action if anything happens like this.

          I have been ordered the food on 28th feb from zomato as order number was [protected]. The order was cancelled by the zomato person as my phone was unreachable i have been called the person to give it back but he cancelled the order. Now i have contact the person many times but they are refusing to give the refund back.
          Kindly provide my refund of 1313 against the order [protected] build the trust on the company.

            Placed an order on zomato with restaurant name ""kacha kukkad". Order id is [protected].

            The food delivered was smelling foul and was not freshly prepared. Fish was totally of brown color.
            Raised my concern with customer care at the same moment and shared the pics at the same time. Asked them to change the order and provide me fresh.
            But they told me to wait for the resolution.
            Next day i got the resolution as an apology letter from zomato. No money was refunded.
            It means i paid for the foul smelling food and dumped my money.

              Zomato always unanswered my queries not even try to resolve it, so i took responsibility of my bad choice that i ordered group booking for restaurent on zomato, delivery boy ready to cancel but i requested him to at any cost bring the food which we booked, he told ok, then he marked it as delivered by the time order for ready delivery boy was with other booking when i requested him to bring my order which is ready then he is saying no i am busy now it takes 30 min to reach there then i will pick your order, in that case i told him why that much delay he told me i am in a queue company would not allow then i asked him why did you marked it as delivered already, now creating problem to deliver which is actually delayed 1:30 min, his answer was stopped me too talk to him, he started scholding, zomato encourages such filthy language but as a customer i can't, in this platform i am asking zomato to refund my zomato gold member ship which is renewed for two years more, wrong choice as i feel, here one another thing zomato gold member when visit the restaurant just check the quantiy of zomato gold member ordered and normal order, you will be surprised with the offer you get, once i get refund of my money i. Am going to stop useing zomato, hope this time some one listen it carefully with cognitive skills

                1) 1 order half delivered
                2) 1 order wrongly cancelled and charged
                3) unresponsive team on my issues

                I stay hungry on a night with my 400 bucks stuck with your app, the app that i would never use in future. A headache that was aggravated because of constant fight of 2.5 hours but still no food and money till the end.
                Special thanks to your valet for not delivering the order and outright denying to get the complete order, customer care representative who was full of attitude and had the audacity to tell me that they will keep the phone and can't help, and liar customer care representative who told me that i will not be charged for the cancelled order. To put things in perspective, the order was delivered at the right address so don't give me lame reason that it the address provided was wrong. Check address for both the orders. Istay hungry for the night with 500 bucks stuck with this # app.

                They need to provide a resolution to my satisfaction:

                1) refund inr 245 for the first order
                2) inr 200 being reversed for the second one
                3) refund of zomato gold membership

                  I have been emailing your services since yesterday, my account has been blocked, when i sent an email they claim that i have canceled my order and placed damages complaint.
                  I haven't canclled or placed any damage complains.
                  On second time, i have been said that it's because of multiple login.
                  Again that's impossible..
                  Since i have one id and it's always logged in.
                  This behaviour was very disappointing.
                  I hope you unblock my account.

                    I had placed an prepaid order with zomato app and waiting for the delivery call as am looking the live status from the ordered point of time. suddenly i got a message that my order cancelled due to phone unreachablity. i had a decent network connection and am tracking live my order too. when i had a chat with the zomato executive he told that the paid amount is levied as cancellation charge. so i lost my money and my food...next time onwards try paying cash on delivery...worst experience

                      I had placed an order with zomato on 22nd feb, 19 at a restaurant ' to die for' from mobile no. [protected] and had paid rs. 1600/- through a credit card no. [protected].

                      The delivery man had called up in above number but as i was busy that time the call went in missed call. Immediately after 5 minutes when i called the delivery boy said that the order was declined and the food cannot be delivered anymore.

                      I was expecting the refund of payment but now i have seen that the refund status is showing as ' you were unavailable to collect the food '. This is absolutely false and wrongly stated.

                      It can be verified with the delivery boy, his number is [protected]

                      Kindly arrange refund of my payment.

                        On 19th feb, 2019, i ordered a desert on zomato app. At the first time the price was debited from my account but payment was failed. 2nd time the order was placed but the order was not delivered because the delivery boy got into an accident.
                        On 25th feb, 2019, one of those payments was credited back. But other one is still remaining to be credited.

                          As I order from zamoto and payment is done but my order is not recieved and when I call to no.provided he said your order is cancelled ...and I said what about my payment ..then she said not refundable ... really this not done ...nor my order is delivered nor my payment is refunded ...worst service I think delivery boy eaten Oder on a way ..give excuse.

                            I have worked for zomato. I don't know the exact date of termination. On that day when iam in online and doing my duty (Orders). One of the customer placed incorrect address and called me and told come to another address. I told to the customer that the address which you provided me zomato i can come because company gives me only 25 rupees and i explained my problem to the customer. Then i raised an issue from my runner partner app. And then i went to the location which customer provided me in runner partner app. Then i call the call support from my runner partner app then i explained my problem that iam in customer location but the customer is telling that come to another location. Then our zomato customer executive told me that please wait in location and the customer is in line to talk with the customer explained my problem. Customer told to cancel the order. Call support cancelled the order and then i returned to home for lunch. After my lunch i again login the runner partner app but the iam not logging in and showing that user not authorized. I used to login for many times but the problem is same (User not authorized. Then i reached our city zomato office and explained my problem. They told that you are terminated by delhi zomato head office. I asked to the manager what the problem. They checked my data and said you have cancelled 6 orders in a week so that you are terminated. I told to the manager that sir it was not problem that the orders are cancelled by zomato support only because customers incorrect address and not responding the call for many times and the customer is not reachable. I told to the manager what is the solution to log in to my account again. They told that wait for 3 days i have mailed for head office and then we see what the problem is???
                            From that day iam used to log in and it is showing that user not authorized. After 3 days i went to the office and asked to the manager about my problem they said that there is no reply from head office when the reply comes we ourself call you to the office that said. From that day there is no response from office and call support.
                            Iam from a poor family. Before i joined the zomato iam working in a function hall as a in charge. Because of my family personal problems i stopped my studies and working for my family.

                              I had ordered fried rice with chichken from anarkali restaurant durgapur.
                              The food was delivered by asish (#[protected]) who gave it to someone else and on being confronted was persistant of having given it to the right guy.
                              After an hour of hassling i was able to reach the guy who had taken my food and took it from him.
                              But in mean time there was no help from delivery boy or zomato chat. Both of them were persistant that food has been delivered and did not show any empathy.
                              The zomato chat guy was abysmal.. He misbehaved and was very rude. I have never come across a consumer help which is this ill mannered and disrespectful. We had this conversation on call so i dont have any proof but maybe u will have recordings.
                              I expect you to take action against this zomato chat guy or i will have to forward this complaint to consumer forum.

                                  I placed an order on feb 23rd 2019 which was delayed owing to an app issue with zomato and finally i had to cancel as i could wait. The app didn't let me cancel as well and i couldn't get in touch with anyone on zomato chat for more than an hr. Finally they had the order ready and wanted to deliver after almost 2 hrs. Which of course i declined and reached out to zomato for a refund. I've sent them all details via email but haven't received a reply. I got an auto acknowledgement but no response. I've sent follow-ups as well but in vain. I need a callback and a refund... That's it and i'm done with zomato and they sick service. Dominic

                                      My son without knowledge has booked the Food so I cancelled the order but now they are not refunding the amount saying it is a penalty how can a company can eat the entire money even if I am requesting to give a Credit they are ignoring even they are not ready to take giv the food order also and they are saying that they have a new rule if there is any cancellation, they are not going to return any amount what kind of a company it is when there is no solution for a problem this is the one of the worst app which is eating the money of the people in the name of penalty. The problem is from my side also let them put some nominal charge and again return back that amount
