8 march 2019, i have ordered the food and on acceptance of the order, i called the guy and told him not to call me as i will be busy and place the food in my office reception, but instead of rider x rider y came, he called me i haven't received the call as i was busy, and he canceled the order. No refund no customer support. Being a mistake on their side i have to pay it.

    This order was not placed but my money got deducted. I have made this payment through upi from paytam payment account no. [[protected]@paytam].

    I have contacted zomato about the same and...

      I ordered food from zomato's recommend my mom's thali restaurant, mayur vihar delhi. I got my worst food ever, it was smailing yukkk... Like they had served me 2days old food for me and just warming it again and again. As i was very hungry because it's more than 2pm, i ate half of my food and thought... How could i eat this food...

      Before serving this to anybody, why don't you use nose?

      The most worst thing here is, as i have already made complaint on zomato chat, and share my whole wrost experience, you (Zomato) guyz didn't do anything.

      So disappointed with ur this type of behaviour.

        I ordered a burger from subway and make payment through paytm but after payment process its shows "your payment unsuccessful and try again" so i try again and after the payment done i received message twice that your order is confirmed then i realized that it ordered twice so i immediately canceled one of them that is placed on 8th mar at 11:22 am and order id was #[protected] but after cancellation, my money didn't refund.

        When i started asking for my order cancellation to zomato on chat, they told me canceled the order we will not refund amount even i canceled the order immediately after food ordered. I told them multiple times that i didn't order twice but they were not listening and just kept on repeating the same thing.

        Your chat option has degraded and has become worse!

        What should i do? When i m getting my refund. I need this money within 3-4 business days or i will complain about this with your higher authority...

          Please resolve this as quickly as you can. I just wanted my order and now i am fighting through email.

          I placed an order for paradise restaurant through zomato app. I got a message after some time that my order cannot be fulfilled, the money i paid through my card cannot be refunded. Their rider canceled the order because of being unresponsive at the time of delivery and not only that he was lying so boldly and said that he was standing below my office. If i don’t attend his call, he should check at the address provided by customer. But he failed to do that and not even checked with security guard of our office. The security guard told me that no one came from zomato. Please understand one fact that why should a customer mention delivery address? It’s for delivering purpose only right. Riders have mapping facility too. Our office is located in a prime location and all their riders always reach to our office without any problem but this guy was something really special.

          For this reason, i contacted a tem through an email [protected]@zomato.com but i am not really satisfied with their response. I received a reply as “zomato doesn’t support cancellation in its platform and according to new policies, if order gets cancelled because of the customer being unresponsive at the time of delivery, a cancellation charge equal to the order amount is charged”. I cannot accept your logic at all of zomato not supporting the cancellation of the orders. As much as restaurant is your customer, the consumer also is who is using your application. If your cancellation charges were minimal, it would still be justifiable. But a cancellation charge equivalent to the order value is insane.

          Must say, its disappointing to here as reply like this.

              I mistakenly clicked on zomato gold renewal and the amount got auto deducted from my paytm account without even asking for a confirmation. I immediately contacted customer care informing them about the error and asked for cancellation and refund. But i was refused stating that it is t&c that membership is non-refundable. Did i accept any t&c's while i mistakenly clicked on renewal, the answer is no, then which t&c's are they imposing on me. This is not a food order that has already gone to the restaurant and cannot be cancelled. A membership can be cancelled and should be cancelled if a member does not want to use it. I dint make any booking through the renewed membership and within 5-10 mins of mistaken renewal i was requesting customer care to cancel. Surprisingly, zomato customer care don’t speak only option is chat and it feels like you are chatting with a robot.

              I have right to ask for a refund of my money that i paid mistakenly. Why is zomato not having 2 point authentication for such payments. I don’t want this fake or useless membership, i need my money back.

                I had 2 issues from zomato... Showing poor maintanance restaurant list and delivering worst food (That's how they are giving discounts) 2nd one connecting to far distance restaurants and making consumer more hungry... This will make consumer frustrated and cancel order. So they can easily steel money even though food not prepared.
                I have order food from santosh dhaba thinking that near by restaurant. But to my shock they connected me to too far restaurant with similar name. I know food is going to be not hot by the time it reaches me as it is from too long. I had cancelled my order immediately within 1-2 mins after placing order. Then the issue started. Its a prepaid order. So they immediately took total amount as cancelation charges. Saying restaurant already accepted order and food already being prepared. How can food prepared within 1 min of order. I have immediately asked for refund of my amount in chat support. They keep on saying same words sorry we can't. If you need further assistance mail them. Even did that. Same response. No refund. I spoke with restaurant people about this. They told they won't get full amount in cancelation charges. They might get some around 20%. So 80% of amount they are steeling from customer without any curtusy of customer issue. I agree for 100 % cancellation charges if order is prepared and is about to deliver. But here i just ordered and within 1-2 mins cancelled. Then y should they take 100% amount.

                  The subject tells that i don't have single complaint against zomato.
                  1. Once i ordered food the delivery time was 9:48 pm food didn't come by that time and i was so hungry that i called the rider at 9:50 pm (Just after 2 minutes). Now the rider answers that he was trying to call me and as i didn't answer he cancelled my order (My phone was in my hand all the time) and when i contacted customer support they said as you cancelled order we will not refund amount. I told them multiple times that i didn't cancel they were not listening and just kept on repeating the same thing.
                  2. Once i ordered the food and not all items were delivered when i complaint customer support said that the restaurant is not answering there call so they cant do anything nor they are going to refund any amount
                  3. Once i ordered and after 45 minutes rider called me and said i cant deliver food as its a dangerous area (I live in an it area and its not dangerous at all) and again dear zomato didnt do anything
                  4. Rider came and shouted why do you order from zomato.. Again no help from zomato
                  5. One more time it happened with quality of food and zomato didnt help
                  6. And 2 times when after waiting for 1 hour zomato said we cant deliver

                  So basically it was my mistake that i kept on trusting zomato but now i am not going to order ever again

                    I had subscribed for zomato's gold for a 1 year period for which they charged me the subscription amount in advance.
                    After few months, suddenly one day zomato had blacked my account without any reason. I approached them on a multiple basis and they said that their system has detected some suspicious activity and hence the account has been blocked and can't be revoked..
                    They don't have any clue about the so called suspicious activity and they also have denied to refund me or revoke the account..
                    I had paid for q year subscription and they have ceased the subscription in the middle of the term without any basis.
                    I have been looted for my money

                      My order id is : [protected] and registered mobile no is +91-[protected], the problem was some of the ordered food was not available with restaurant, and after telling to alter the food to the delivery guy, restaurant didn't even do that, and didn't sent the food which was not available with them. At the time of handing over the food it was shown directly to the delivery boy, he told me to send image of the food to the chat support to get the refund against the missing food, i immediately did the same accordingly reported the issue to chat support by showing them the picture, they verified it and issued the partial refund and told me to wait till 24 hours to get reflected the refund in my zomato account, after 3 hours i got refund in zomato credit and just after 20 minutes my account shown as blocked due to suspicious behaviour.
                      As all was shared with the zomato what has really happend and as witness of the matter through the delivery boy.
                      Still they blocked my account so that i can't use the issued refund amount. Kindly look into the matter and take action on to this so that i can get my account unblock to utilise my hard earned money. Very worst experience as a regular buyer from zomato i didn't expected this to be happened. Although please resolve my issue at the earliest.

                        I have ordered from zomato chicken biryani at 10:20 am on 7th march 2019 for rs104. Money has been deducted from my account but it is showing payment unsuccessful in my zomato order list. So i called zomato about my deduction of money but they are saying that they didn't receive any order or paymen. What should i do? When i m getting my refund. I need this money within 3-4 business days or i will complain

                          Day before yesterday at 11:20 pm i hav order food nd paid 968 through net banking but at the time of delivery they denied about payment status and demand cash payment. Due to night timing we hav to paid 968 again through paytm. Order-[protected], was from gurgaon dhaba 29, the delivery person was naveen, from rohtak.in app payment status is showing from paytm also. But at the time of ordering food from app, i hav paid from icici net banking. Snapshoots are attached for ur reference. And it was first time when i hav ordered. Kindly look into this matter. Thanks.

                            I placed a food order, with a code... The food was worth 143, my previous order should 91.5 for the same order. I tried cancelling the order since i wanted to go with discount. They have charged me a penalty of 143 for cancellations. This would not have been the case i'd it was cash on delivery... It is only done because my food was pre paid. Would it have been the same penalty for cod? And how? I don't want to be a zomato customer anymore. Please check my order history.

                              I have made a payment of rs 170rs against my order no.[protected] from 'pk biryani' deccan gymkhana pune-4.
                              Details for the payment made on 20 january 2019 from my airtel payment bank account:[protected] are as follows

                              This order was not placed but my money got deducted. I have made this payment through upi from airtel payment bank account no. [protected].

                              I have contacted zomato about the same and complained about it. I was told on 4th february that payment has been refunded from their end and i have to contact my bank for further assistance.
                              For the same i have lodged complaint with airtel payment bank with complaint id: 3011399. I was constantly told by the payment bank customer service that i have to wait for 2 more days to resolve this issue and which was resolved on date: 21 february 2019 saying that payment was successful and not met with 'payment gateway failure' for above mentioned order id:[protected]
                              And no refund was made and i have to provide them with the bank details of account (Account statement) of zomato from which this refund is made.
                              For same i have approched zomato chat services and was provided with

                              Amount: 170
                              Gateway: razorpay

                              To which date and account details was asked by me to be provided and was not provided by their chat services and customer care till the date.
                              However i have not got refund in my bank account as i have checked my bank account statement from 19th january 2019 to 5th march 2019.

                              It is more than a month now and i am not being provided with whereabouts of my money. I was constantly thrown from one party to another since more than a month and i am under very much mental stress now.
                              I want to know
                              1. The bank account statements of zomato from which this refund is done 2. Date for the same transaction
                              3. The refund of 170rs

                              The amount has been refunded after nearly 45 days. And so much mental trauma. The grievance addressal is of no use. You have to contact consumer complaints only. I learned it in hard way.

                                I ordered an egg curry which had no gravy only oil plus i ordered 2 rumali roti but got tandoori roti instead. Have a look at the photo of the amount of oil. I want a refund immediately!! I've got sick eating the egg curry.
                                I want my money back. I am taking a screenshot of this complaint in case no action is taken here soon. Eating this egg curry has made me vomit and such service o[censored]nhealthy food is disgusting by zomato.

                                  Hi ordered leg soup on zomato, and i got very dirty food, it was smelling like expired. And mutton leg was too smelly and dirty, pubic hair also i found on this soup, i contacted them for refund or replacement. They didnt refund or replaces. I need my money back. I hardly earn money i cant waste for this type food. Zomato taken delivery charge, service charge etc. And they didnt given any resolution for my complaint. Plz return my money. I have attached the image of that dirty and smelly leg.

                                    I had ordered from burger singh, fries via zomato, and have not yet been assigned a delivery agent. It's been 1hour 20 minutes. Now after this they call me to ask me the address which is already mentioned and is available on google as well. Kindly process refund and take strict action. I called the restaurant twice and an continuously reporting this to zomato. However, there's no response from thier end.

                                      The biryani ordered in zaffran restaurant was very dirty with dirty smell. We can't eat that type of food. I really hateeeeeee... 😠😠😠😠😠. I really needed to get refund. This was really worst. A big company like zomato can't take this type of restaurants in the list. I ordered on march 5th 2019. By paytm. I ordered a family pack chicken biryani. Really it was worst with dirty smell. Plz refund my money.

                                        I m order chicken thali from yuva kokan aploch aasa 2nd time but i have issue in this 1st the solkadhi is half of the glass and in chicken curry i found feather of chicken. This is food they serve, which not good and from 15min i m try to complaint in support on zomato application but no response from there. This is very bad i want answers all the things going on.
                                        Zomato customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                        I have received wrong order from Zomato, I raised same on customer care chat options but care executive was not able to provide any solution
                                        The given order has not been confirmed and the amount has been deducted from our account 2 times.
                                        I faced same kind of problem . 600 rupees penalty . They don't have sense, we are struggling to earn money . I ordered food and within next minute cancelled due to high cost . 100 percent money gone . Zomato making business with fraud policy .Irctc even won't do this much penalty .
                                        Never bother about complaint and their delivery boys are totally carelessly behaving.

                                        Their helpline is always not answering. If you order with any instruction no care has been taken. I would never recommend Zomato.
