In two weeks my food has twice been accepted by ministry of burger and has been cancelled 25 minutes later once and 45 minutes later once. The chat bot refused to help me. I spoke to someone from the zomato office and they offered me 28 rupees as credit. My order amount was 140 odd rupees. They were also downright rude. The twitter handle also stopped replying to me.

I have had no help from zomato ever in cases like this and by this point i am literally being pushed around and being treated like a dog.

Zomato has cancelled my order without my notice. I did not cancel the order they have cancelled the order and they have charged me 138 RS. And now they are not giving me refund

    Hi

    I had ordered food online from zomato app and made payment through phonepe on 21st feb at 9:36 pm.
    But zomato could not confirm my order and it wrongly deducted rs 34 from my account. I have contacted them on customer service but they have not refunded me my money rs 34. This is cheating from zomato.

    Hello, zomato cheated me by deducting money & not delivering the order, they said payment incomplete & nobody is responding in the chat section. I want my refund back
    I just ordered momo from denzong's kitchen jadavpur kolkata and after checking it out my main balance got deducted and it came like 502 bad gateway and my zomato app stopped working.
    I did not receive my food and still got my cash deducted
    i tried calling custumer care but they didn't receive my calls

      On 21st feb i ordered one veg kofta through zomato from india garden restaurant.[protected] order number. Veg kofta did not had any kofta in the curry. Only gravy no kofta. Plus other curry also was horrible in taste.. I complaint to zomato chat (Which is quite irritating as zomato does not have a customer care number). Chat executive told separate team will get back to me. But in reply what i get was a pre formatted ready apology mail which zomato sends to any complaint. After numerous mail i was told they can't do anything. They offered me 25%. I need full refund of 120 and not 25% as the main ingredient that is kofta was only missing. Thanks

        Disgusting behaviour from rider and customer support team

        Pizza take 30 mints
        Burgers take 20-30 mints
        Food other 45 mints

        I placed my order from ur app clearly mentioned want hot food also tell rider to don’t ring the bell and call me before he reach
        First of all,
        When i clearly mentioned my address on ur app why i need to tell rider again n again
        He gave my call to strangers just for guiding him wth address

        When i reported this problem to ur concern department check al the details how they helped me
        Why i receive food which is traveling almost 2 hours here and there
        Secondly, without deliever the order automatically he itself filled all te details
        This is my last order after i will not order anything from this # app

        I reached home i was hungry i placed order for me not for u guys

        My anger is on other level
        It’s been 2 hours
        Giving u suggestion pls don’t harras ppl unnecessary.

          I ordered food which was missing items and drinks which were not the ones I ordered
          ihighlightedd this to Support. The vendor and the customer support team agreed that it was a mistake and refunded due amount into my account. Immediately afterwards, blocking my account from online ordering. After multiple requests, they simply say Account Reactivation not possible.

            I ordered food in the evening yesterday and paid online. Then due to some emergency i had to leave home so i decided to cancel and when zomato said there will be no refund, i opted for no, don't nt cancel but to my surprise they cancelled my order and kept my money!!! That very second i asked for zomato support. These people are practically useless. They asked me to write to [protected]@zomato which i did. They refused to help me and haven't been responding to my mails ever since! It's such a disappointment! Though the amount was 90 bucks but even that amount means a lot of an average middle class individual. It's so wrong to dupe people and zomato is an expert at duping people! Please help me!!!             Still I didnt get my refund money from zomato. Kindly let me know its about more than 5-7 days. When I will get my money back, asap

              We ordered through zomato on 23rd feb, around 8 pm... (2 biriyanis from swadisht aahar at btm layout bangalore).

              The order got rejected after 45 mins. Before this when we contacted the hotel they said the order is been dispatched for delivery.

              No one from zomato even bothered to contact us and tell us about the reason for rejection whereas the hotel manager himself confirmed the dispatch.
              Later when we spoke to the hotel manager, he said may be the dispatch boy from zomato may come back to hotel. And also he said to us to try and give fresh order again.

              We had to forcibly cook at post 9.30 pm and it was almost 11 when we completed our dinner.

              This kind of hardship is never expected, highly disappointed.

                I placed an orderafter checking summary, wher it was showing a burger and a coke. But after making payment they removed coke. It was added as complimentary combo with a price of zero rupees.

                After raising complaint they are not ready to refund or deliver full order.

                I have screenshot of order summary and still it is showing while placing new order with same item.

                Please help here and resolve it.

                  An another fraud done by the zomato. I ordered biryani from three kings and just for a few seconds my phone turned off and they cancelled my order by showing you were not reachable. They didn't refunded the amount as they were saying the food was already prepared. Last month i ordered food from a different restaurant the delivery guy waited for me like half n hour because i was stuck in a traffic that time also my phone was not reachable and they didn't cancelled my order and yesterday my phone was turned off like for a minute they cancelled and took the money as well. The difference is that order was "cash in delivery" and yesterday one was already paid through upi. I wonder that there are some companies are opened just to steal money from innocent people. I hope this will reach to the many people so that they won't be trapped by such fraud companies like zomato.

                    Hi this is soumyadeep boral registered no is [protected]... I have ordered of amount 254 from food in resturent on 24th feb 2019. But immidiatly i found i have given wrong order thats why i cancelled it and inform ur support team and the restaurant... Restaurant said ok they are cancelling from their end but i have to inform zomato. After that i have constantly chated to ur support team but they have not resolved my problem... Its very unfortunate that u dont have any proper support team...in this case i am feeling totally cheated as i have lost my product and money both.
                    I hope u will understand my problem and refund my money back so that i dont have to take any further action.
                    I have attached all the order details.

                      I am trying to use coupon code tasty using my account - manan.*@gmail.com. The app says - "unable to use code more than three times a day". That's incorrect. The last time i ordered something from zomato was on dec 24. The customer support takes an awful long amount of time to show me details of another three orders (Which aren't mine). Those are from my wife's account (Simreen*@gmail.com), and made via a different phone/device. The support person tells me that i can't use the code "even if the orders were made from the same device". But the fact is that she made the orders from a different device, not mine. Why am i not eligible to use the code? To top it all, a simple check is taking so long for zomato to determine, and the restaurants are closing. I am unable to order food as a result. This is breach of policy and a clear bug in the zomato app.

                      I want my refund, for the inability to order food.

I received the otp and i have a screenshot of payment successful. I thought zomato uses this payment service. But surprisingly order did not get redirected to zomato. No one is responding. Please look into the matter. Where has my money actually gone? Who has taken my money? Is it atom technologies or zomato???

It's showing order is out for delivery but delivery guy says it got cancelled because of technical issue and in app it shows order is out for delivery. Now application is not opening to have a conversation with the zomato support. Those who contacted me on phone saying it got cancelled also doesn't give proper reason for the same

                            My order number is [protected]. My payment is incomplete. Order has not been placed. Yet cash has been deducted from my debit card. The hotel manager says that the order is not placed and the customer care i am trying to reach is currently out of service. I have tried all the numbers available on the website bt none of them is reachable. So i want u to look into this matter and refund my cash asap

                              *free*free*free*. Yes zomato is providing free food to their delivery boys. Yes they eat customer food in the way for absolutely free.
                              And when u complaint to customer support then after 4 days you will get reply "bear with us".
                              I ordered ₹300 as my order amount and they refunded me ₹37.50 as credit. Good social services by zomato appreciated by customers who pay heavy amount to buy second mouth food.

                                I had placed the order from eat. Fit via zomato on feb 23, 2019. The order was not placed and was not confirmed for few mins after placing it.

                                After waiting for few mins, i went ahead and canceled the order at 1:21 pm, my order was then suddenly confirmed and in the same min again i received a message from zomato, stating something went wrong, order cannot be completed meaning order was canceled/declined. It all happened within the same minute, infact within few seconds.

                                Now, when i try to contact zomato at [protected]@zomato.com, they are saying we can’t refund. I am explaining to them, that order was not confirmed when i canceled it, as soon as i canceled it then i received the confirmation message and then within few seconds received order declined/canceled message but they are not understanding.

                                Why are you simply taking my money and not ready to refund it by telling me that order was already prepared bu restaurnat. How can someone prepare the order within seconds.

                                I have attached photos of whatever i have mentioned. Refer timestamps and mesaage stating fodd had been prepared already and that too within seconds which is not possible.

                                I would appreciate it if i can receive the redund asap instead of ignoring what i have to say and you not ready to listen.

                                  I placed a order on 24th of feb, 2019 from lucky sandwich order no. Being [protected] via zomato the same has been deliverd eaten or what i dont know the pizza is only 3/4th of what it has to be i have the screen shots of the chat and the pizza.

                                  Had a chat with zomato people to about this they provided me with credits of 31 against an order of rs.150 and said cant do anything further

                                    Yesterday i ordered food from appoorva sangeetha veg restaurant, nungambakkam. Payment was also done through google pay.. After 30 mins also the order was not confirmed by the restaurant... After 45 mins it was confirmed.. But after that also it was not confirmed... When i asked the delivery boy... He replied that zomoto app has an issue... So i simply said to cancel the order.. And now finally it shows in the app that the food was delivered... This is such a brutal mistake done by zomoto... So refund my payment as soon as possible

                                      I have ordered food from a restaurent using their app
                                      yesterday i have ordered food from some restaurant from your app.. i have talked with number of customer service people regarding the same.. firstly that order was wrong i have received a wrong order secondly the quality was that bad of the food and now you guys are providing me a credit of 100 points. I donot need 100 points for an order as it was a wrong order they delievered so i need an complete refund for that.. rest after talking to their customer service team they are just saying that they cannot do anything regarding it seriously first they have a bad restaurant and then food and only customer will suffer for it and they are just denying that fact that i have received wrong food

                                        For the first complaint i have ordered buterscotch chips cake paid 380 rs but the zomato has delivered me normal bun cake and contacted zomato service they told me that as an apology we are giving to 70 zomato points for 380 rs cake and alseked for full refund not responding since 1 week.

                                        For second complaint from the same bakery i ordered another cake which is a cost of 710 rs i ordered by cod as the zomato delivery executive has not delivered the food and conveying that the customer is unable to reach or unavailable and charged me penalty of 710 rs to pay. I had reached zomato services they are conveying the same thing not reachable.

                                        Till no there is no response from Zomato services.
