I subscribed for 12 months gold membership on zomato. The app was set for auto renewal, which i was not aware of. Zomato just auto renewed and charged me a fee. This is an unethical way. The app can have various settings and all of that customer cannot possibly be aware. 194090 is my membership id.

I had to block my credit card to ensure that zomato does not do this again.

Zomato please do not adopt such practices which will defame your own reputation. If you are good then customers will renew themselves rather than do such auto renewal things.

Please refund the amount immediately.

    I received a message from paytm on evebing 7.53 that amount has been deducted 687 from waleet against order on zomato which i did not ordered any item on zomato but amount deducted from my paytm wallet plz help in that.. I want refund of this or help me who ordered through my paytm.. I will take this to cops police locllal.

      I had booked food from zomato on 9th feb and the payment was made through net banking.
      I had to make 2 transactions against the same order as the first order had failed. But my account got debited with the amount of failed transaction as well as successful transaction.

      Both the failed transaction and successful transactions were of the same amount.

      Please find below the transaction details for reference. I have been trying to contact zomato on their customer care number - [protected] but i have not been able to connect even once.
      You have such a pathetic customer redressal system, have never come across something like this before.

      Yes same thing happened to me I used mobikwik wallet to order from zomato and the transaction got failed twice.. And the amount got deducted from my wallet...

      This happened yesterday.. Zomato customer care said that it takes two working days for refund and refund process won't be on Saturday and Sunday..

      even I'm waiting for my money.. Fed up with these kind of transactions

        I have placed an order in zomato from hyderabad flavours at 11 29 pm

        A delivery boy from ubereats brought an order
        Bt his phone was showing a different customer name and order details
        He was asking to pay rs 70 for a veg biriyani which wasn't my order
        I told him to confirm with the restaurant and call me back
        He left without informing me and i haven't received any further info regarding the same later
        On contacting the restaurant they have told that they have given the order already and updated it as delivered and are now unable to reach the delivery boy
        I haven't even been offered a refund of the same
        No one has called to inform about the issue
        Until i took time to complain on their customer desk
        The only response i got was that a team would reach to me in 24 -48hours

I placed my request for graviance readdressal with coustomer care but they said they would not able to contact restaurant

            Hi team,

            I have not made any transaction with zomato for food or anything else, however money got deducted from my paytm account thrice without any notice for 270, 100, and 104. I'm very much disappointed with online paytm service and zomato, without any orders how can i be charged from paytm, this is modern stealing of money from customers very cheap tricks, please get my money back to my paytm account, below are the screen shots of fraud transaction done in paytm

            These are the 3 order ids which are from my paytm and I have not made these transactions nine of these. Could you please urgently send the confirmation to paytm that these are wrong transactions and ask them to get me the money back

              I had an account in zomato under the name of riddhiman dutta roy and email address [protected]@gmail.com. I had placed an order from a restaurant showing to be delivering to my area, but after placing the order they informed me that they will not be able to serve me. I then went to the chat support and then they provided me compensation for this harassment in the form of zomato credits. I was happy with that. But all of a sudden, i found out that my account has been blocked due to what they stated as "suspicious activity". And from then onwards it shows that my account has been permanently banned. I cannot even use those zomato credits anymore.

              This is a really poor service on part of zomato and i will take legal actions, as they can not take away my zomato credits by banning my account since it is my money.

                I want to bring this to your notice that i am very disappointed by zomato service and delivery option today. I placed an order via the zomato app at 08:56 pm on february 9th, 2019. But the food wasn't delivered at the mentioned time on 30 mins, somehow the delivery guy showed up at 10:12 pm but with missing items from my order and the food is cold which i didn't accept. I requested the customer service agent to cancel my order and refund my money or at least get me someone on call to speak as the representative over the chat wasn't responsive and helpful. The chat representative name is umer.

                I have attached the full chat transcript as a screenshot since i don't have any option to email the chat transcript to my email id, also your chat representative didn't help to send one. I am really pissed off about the service today and i am going to file a consumer complaint about this issue which i faced today. I do understand that due to rain the delivery has been delayed as it happens and i am totally fine with that but my issue was with the service i received by the chat representative and the delivery agent came with cold food with missing items which lead to further delay.

                Zomato should not run the business if it is not capable of delivering its standard in any situation. Swiggy is far better than zomato as it delivered the food just on time to my neighbor.

                The chat representative says that zomato doesn't have anyone customer care service on telephone or it doesn't have any manager to handle such situations, it just harrases the people who prepaid their order.

                  I have orderd the pizza from snake bite from zomato and i have recieved this order in an spilled condition and when i complaint about this they also dont gave the reply of my e mail and thus now have sufferd from this issue and now wsnt my compensation as soon as possible and please refund my money as soon as possible because it is for my first time and i have got this..

                    I find it completely worthy to inform you that my dinner was ruined and jeopardise my i asked for the jain pav bhaji and i got tomato soup in exchange... I was not able to eat it and it just ruined my day. The seller or the restaurant assured me to give the refund but when i asked zomato for refund they told that they won't be able to refund the amount.. I don't know what's the problem..                       Restaurant served burnt food to me. Kiri and liver were totally burnt. Chicken leg and chicken wing was partially burnt. I have written to zomato to take action against erring restaurant on the 29th jan 2019. 11 days no action. Zomato has not bother to send me an email giving status of their investigation or action against restaurant or full refund.

                      Zomato reverted with an apology on behalf of the restaurant and a compensation of Rs 75. Further they have stated that such incident will not repeat.

                      I am not accepting their compensation. Serving of burnt food is not acceptable. It deserves the dust bin not a customer's plate.

                      Zomato has to give me
                      1. Proof of communication with restaurant
                      2. Written apology from restaurant
                      3. Proper/full compensation for the order placed.
                      4. Downgrading of restaurant's rating or blacklisting of item for a few days.

                      This restaurant has the audacity to serve me burnt food tomorrow it will do it to some other customer

                      Zomato is protecting the restaurant.

                      The rating of this restaurant should be between 2.0 and 2.5. Zomato has rated this restaurant 3.8 thereby misleading its customers.

                      Please revert with actions and penalties on the restaurant and proper compensation. No more apologies on behalf of the restaurant.

                        I am thoroughly disappointed with zomato's online delivery service as well as customer care. I had placed an order for ice cream for a small gettogether in office. The order was declined by zomato with a reason that my phone was not reachable. After a while, i tried reaching on the number provided on zomato app only to find out that it was the restaurant number and not the delivery boys number. I tried calling on customer service but none of your numbers were reachable and even the chat app was not responding. I had no option but to wait and finally when the person from chat app responded, all i got were blunt replies. I am attaching the screenshots of our chats where you can read that the customer service representative is telling me that my order might have been given to any needy person since i was not reachable."it was an order of 945rs" and they have the audacity to say this. The address for delivery being an official complex, it was expected of him to leave it with the reception. I confirmed with my reception and nobody came from zomato. I called up the shop number which was communicated to me through your app/sms against which shopkeeper confirmed that icecream was picked up for delivery by zomato representatitve.

                        I now see this as an attempt of theft in daylight wherein money is collected, items are collected but the transaction is never completed. On approaching customer care, i was bluntly refused for either completing delivery by zomato or for the refund against failed delivery. I have saved all the conversation with the customer care which is attached for your viewing. I am going to post on this experience on all your social networking channels, be it facebook or twitter to educate people about your misdemeanors.

                        I am attaching the screenshots, 2 are of chats and one is to show you that order summary had the only number. Even the call button was directly connecting me to a restaurant and not the delivery boy.

                        I am putting up the complain on consumer forum because of the blunt and idiotic reply from customer service representative and since i have not received any response on email i sent to "[protected]@zomato.com". I demand an immediate refund for this order,

                          I ordered food in the restaurant named the table on 9th feb 2019 11.45am. The amount of rs.327 has been deducted from my account but my order has not confirmed its showed error text while transaction. Then i called zomato service number for several times no response. So i called directly to the table restaurant and asked about my order, they said they have not received any order in my name. So kindly refund my money back.

                            Through this mail i want to inform you that yesterday i have ordered food at 1:00 am from zomato. But when i ask to delivery boy for the ordered then he said at the last moment sorry sir i am not able to deliver food to you this time (But my order is accepted at the restaurant) and they also deducted my money and when i ask restaurant to refund my money then restaurant owner said me this is not our restaurant fault and not our responsibility. He said all responsibility are zomato and your payment is refund by zomato.

                              Zomato account registered email id - [protected]@gmail.com

                              My zomato account got blocked without any reasons and also they aren't responding to my mails, their call support is not picking the call and chat support is also not working.in the one response that u got back the zomato executive tells me that the account has been blocked due to suspicious activities. Every time that there has been a mistake from their end i have reported it with a picture and if the executive thought it was genuine i got a refund back. The next day they block my account. What sort of a policy is this?

                              I want my account to be unblocked as soon as possible because i have money in my wallet and i want them back.

                                I have placed an order in zomato vide order no. [protected] dated 08/02/8019 @12.44pm and instantly cancelled the order @12.44pm. Just than the order was confirmed and cancelled. Have been charged rs. 79/- on food being prepared. How can in few fraction of seconds food can be prepared?? Kindly help dispute penalty charges. I just ordered and wanted to modify so instantly cancelled when the restaurant approved the order. Its unfair to charge penalty.

                                  I asked for refund regarding an spilled order they refund the amount but blocked my account. Please look into this matter.

                                    I have been ordering from zomato very frequently and i am a gold member

                                    Last night 7/02/2019 i had some people over at my place

                                    So i placed an order thru zomato /daakh kitchen

                                    The restaurant accepted the order the order was placed at 8.10 and till 10.30 at night there was no news. I keept calling the restaurant but they did not bother to answer the call

                                    Then i sent a message to zomato on the app they give me points instead of food

                                    My guest went without dinner and then when i called the restaurant again to cancel my order the owner of the restaurant abhishek was rude and did not want to hear my problem and said that i am sorry this mistake is from zomato and not from my side

                                    My money hasn't been refunded yet

                                    Nor did i get the food i have all the details of the bill documents on my phone

                                    I will be filing a complaint against zomato and the restaurant in the consumer court for my loss

                                      Ordered cake from zomato considering a discount bt it charged me more 409 for death by chocolate cake whereas it showed 360 earlier. And before getting confirmation of order the courier guy called up and was telling to come outside gate as they are not allowing him inside mindspace as he was not in uniform and with helmet. After running miles for the cake what he gave me was disheartening cake that was not at all the one ordered and without name tag and birthday tag horrible experience it looked stale. Asked him about the same and he was behaving like he s least concerned was telling me to call up the cake store i. E bake ur day and they will come and write up the same for me which dint work out and he just ran away entrusting the cake in my hands.
