I gave a wrong address when I placed an order from Koko China, Kolkata. Upon notifying the issue to the zomato helpline, they gave me the delivery person's number and asked me to inform the change of address. I did as asked, and the delivery person said "okay! I will talk to zomato".[At this point zomato app says the delivery person has not even reached the restaurant to pick up the food]

25mins Later a zomato representative, calls me asks me to pick up the food from the wrong address[which is 30 mins away from my actual address.]. Otherwise, food will be cancelled and refund won't be given as 'food is out for delivery'.
BUT it was NOT out for delivery when I raised the concern.

I am attaching necessary pictures.
Please initiate a refund.

Today I'm order some Food (Pappu Restaurant total 6 items)from Zometoo app total amount - 546.95, pay buy google pay (Transaction Id - CICAgKCSgpTcAw) amount was deducted but my order not placed. kindly please refund me that money back.

We placed an order rs. 55 with zomato. Money deducted but can't received the order. Please respond at the earliest to the my complaint against the zomato food based app. This app providing cheap customer services to the customer... This waste app. Zomato customer care number was not connected..

    I placed an order around 10.pm of 14th jan from kick out the jams a bacon burger worth 180 RS my money got deducted from account n transferwd to zomato I have proofs I use phonepe for it so I have the receipt photo please I want my refund we workhard for it and you guys have been playing we come late from work and we have no time to cook so we decide to order from you guys and this happen very bad experience

      I have made 3 payment yesterday during the technical issues as said by your employees in Zomato chat.
      The payment has been successfully made through paytm but I didn't got the order as you mentioned for technical issues. I want my money refunded back for 3 orders from El Rancho yesterday in which my money was deducted. I am not able to see in my order section so I cannot get order id as well. I have been talking continuously to Zomato chat but I didn't find a resolution. Please solve this issue or else I have to go to Social media because I am pissed with Zomato now.

        Hi,
        I placed an order through the zomato app, on 13th Jan 2019 at 11:23pm. I did not get any confirmation. The amount was debited but the order still did not go through, and i cannot see the order in my history.

        1) the payment been made and deduction of money which is not yet refunded.
        2) delivery boy who was assigned but he did not delivered the food, when i called him and asked why did he not deliver the food, he replied that the restaurant have denied giving the food.
        Help me soon or else i will have to take legal procedure to go through to.

          This is regarding a scenario where i placed an order at around 11:15 pm on 13th jan 2019. while the order showed pending for a long time and did not materialize i contacted your customer care chat on the app and was kept on waiting without any result now today is day2 and no refund of my money has been reverted to my paytm account

          the order number and other details are not shown on my side of the app as well
          but i did recieve an update early in the morning around 8:20am that the order has been picked up by Mr arjun singh number [protected]. but the order was never recieved and its still showing pending on my app

              This new hyderabad briyani is situated near t. Nagar bus depot - chennai. We ordered (Our first order after registering in zomato) various biriyanis (2 egg biriyani, 2 chicken biriyani & 1 plain jeeragasamba veg biriyani) from the restaurant through zomato. The problem is
              1) we could find the taste to be of very old flavours
              2) 2 packets of onion raitha side dish was only provided for 5 biriyanis
              3) most important - the so called jeeragasamba veg biriyani was not delivered instead it was a plain biriyani with lots of chicken pieces soaked in it. It was also mentioned in veg column in zomato. Thats the reason we ordered from this hotel. We got highly pissed off and to our surprise, we also called the hotel to make the complaint.
              It was a big shock as no 1 answr proprly. Pls suggst wat to do

                Few days back i ordered some pizzas and veggie wraps of hungry hub through zomato. Shortly after placing the order i got a message that they cannot deliver my order this order with hungry hub is declined as i was unavailable to collect the food at the mentioned address and my phone was unreachable. First of all, i mentioned the proper address of my house then also rider didn't came to the given address and secondly, i didn't receive any call regarding my order. And that order was prepaid. When we call rider he said, he gave the order to someone else. Kindly please refund me with that money back.

                I m ordering a aloo tikki veg burger from munchies cafe at the price of 70 and 15 rs delivery charges and also 2rs tip subtotal 87 .i received my food Which is delayed by 15 minutes and also the burger are too bad in filling because there is no tikki and only filling with two slices of tomato n cucumber .The food quality is too bad

                  Hi,
                  I placed an order through the zomato app, on 13th jan 2019 at 11:00pm. I did not get any confirmation so accidentally ordered another time. The amount was debited both times but the order still did not go through, and i cannot see the order in my history.

                  Customer care chat keeps saying they cannot find my order details, however the app shows me 2 order numbers when i try to initiate customer chat. The order numbers are only available in the customer chat. I also have with me the paytm transaction ids.

                    Order from cafe cones & curries on 9th jan at 09:25 pm id: [protected]
                    Raised a complaint same day and no resolution yet. Its been 5 days snd they don’t have a tat yet. There is no 2nd level escalation process and they can’t reveal it!
                    Whenever i contact customer service on chat, they just say one thing - we have a separate team and they handle complaints one by one!! What is this??? Also, they don’t have that team’s number and can’t provide the number also.. I mean why even have such customer service which is not capable of resolving such minor issues too

                      On 13 jan 2019, i ordered food from zomato app, the order was confirmed and the money was deducted from my paytm account but soon i found out that the order was not showing on the my orders section of the app so i contacted their chat support services and they didn't replyed me at all, i didn't received the food, i have paytm transaction receipt of payment to zomato, so please help me with this matter as their support services are very bad

                        I ordered some food from zomato. It hasn't confirmed my order not delivered. 5 same order were pending and not confirmed a single one. My 690 rupees (138×5 same order) has been deducted from my wallet. Neither order delivered nor money refunded. I want my all money back. I called on zomato customer care but no reply from there. I text to zomato customer service. But they are unable to reach. I m fed up with all this.. 1 hour has been wasted. So i decided to complain.

                          My name is priyanka kapoor... Without repeating this is like daily job they take my money and then never deliver my order when i call them they say my order is cancelled how difficult it is to inform in time so that we can make other arrangements.. My money never comes back on time.. Even the executive are like machines never apologize for what they do. I am a regular customer but still this type of behavior is repetitive...

                            I am a regular customer of zomato and valued this company very much, but one fine day they blocked my account and didn't have me any warning nor any reason, i just reported them that my order is not delivered.. They punished me for telling them the truth instead they should have a proper investigation system, i also have money in zomato wallet and they didn't even refund me that amount.
                            In short zomato have cheated me.. I am very disappointed with their unprofessional behaviour, i would like them to activate my account as soon as possible, or refund me the money i had in zomato wallet

                              So i was trying to place an order from zomato at 11:11pm, i chose 'simpl' as my payment (Pay later app) and pressed the 'place the order' button amounting 380.25rs (Using zomato coupon). The payment loading sign appeared and then the same 'place order' page came instead of 'your order is placed' page. I tried placing order 3 times by removing items and adding again before i couldn't because it said i can't use the coupon more than 3 times a day. I then checked my simpl payment history and found 380.25rs charge being charged to me 3 times! And then i checked zomato order history and found no order placed. I immediately contacted zomato and this is the conversation that took place and my main reason for filing this complaint. He said there was a technical difficulty on their side and that's why this happened, they told me to contact the restaurant (As you can tell clearly from the pictures) i contacted the restaurant (Tehal singh sector 22) and explained everything to them and they said no such order is placed and showing and told me to contact zomato about this. I told this thing in the chat but the troll or whoever is sending me those messages kept sending the same computer message over and over again. 30-40 mins later i get a call from the delivery guy saying he's assigned to delivery my items to me but in his app only my name and details are showing and no order details or items are showing in the app. Now i explained everything to him too and asked him to contact zomato and tell them everything including this chat problem and i'm yet to hear from the delivery guy or zomato. This is frustrating, rude and extremely stressful. All i wanted to do was order some food on lohri night to celebrate it. Instead i got in this loophole where i'm charged 380.25rs x3 times and my order isn't even placed and zomato chat is just trolling me and being unresponsive and absolutely not helpful for me. I don't want them to fire the guy doing it or something. I don't want to cost him his job, all i want is my refund, apology from them, compensation for the loss of my time, energy and money and a warning to the guy who was talking to me on zomato chat.

                                I ordered food from zomato the amount got deducted but neither did i receive the confirmation and neither did the order get placed after talking to the customer service they told me to contact the restaurant directly which i did and they told the error is from zomato's end so whom should i contact for such pathetic service and for the money that was charged.

                                  Today i paid for an order from faasos for which after a 50% discount was of inr 95. I paid it from my paytm wallet. The payment was successful. But after one hour, the original price for this food item got deducted again from my paytm wallet on it's own. It was written, 'paid to zomato" for an order i didn't even make! How is this possible? This is really not done.

                                    I sangeetha odred food from nakshatra inn panneer butter masala, kadai panneer and butter naan & ordered number is [protected]. I was really shocked to see such burned naans with out butter, there is no such way to replace my food in your app. As i trying to call your toll free number no number are working, and the delivery boy also. So cancel the order and refund my amount.

                                      I received bad quality food from my order on zomato from a restaurant named gossips and chats in secunderabad. I reported the issue to the customer support on zomato. The customer service executive was least concerned with the issue and instead of solving my problem just told me that the concerned team will look into it and dusted off their responsibility. Zomato for one has the least responsive customer support and think that the customer would take no action and forget about their issues if they make them wait longer.

                                        We ordered food from swad food n caterers by zomato which contained 4 thalis worth 65rupees each. The food was not upto the mark it was stale n dry. It tasted sour n was unacceptable. We are very unsatisfied with this kind of services n if it continues in future would lead us to stop using ur services.
                                        Please take this under note n provide us with proper n apt compensation.
