I tried placing an order today in the morning & paid rs 103.62 from sbi netbanking i. E. On 12th jan at 10:05 am (Ist). Reference no. For transaction is "igafeazbc1". The amount got deducted from my account but the order placement didn't progress further. I waited for sometime thinking that zomato will intimate me that payment will be reversed but nothing of that sort happened. Your "support" on the app is not even working. I have sent a feedback also mentioning the same issue but no action has been taken.

I contacted the Bank & they resolved my query. Zomato has the WORST customer support. They neither attend any call nor any message on their App. All thanks to SBI customer care service.

    My zomato account is inaccessible to me. Ihavent got any mail or reply.
    I used my google account to create my zomato account. Yesterday my zomato account itself got logout from my phone. When i tried opening it with my google account it created my new profile. How is it possible that the same account which was opening my level 11 zomato profile did not found my previous account and created a new one. Please its a lot of effort since more than 2 years that i have reached this level. Ihave written lot of mails and i still cannot open my zomato profile it just somehow became inaccessible.       I had received veg pasta but i got to know that chicken is missing when i was finishing the bottom part.

      The customer care rep kept on asking snapshot.. How will i give the snapshot of missing chicken from half eaten pasta, i don't understand.

      I had been ordering from zomato for more tgan a month daily so they should know why would i lie..
      All i wanted was my refund but just had the worst experience with chat rep.. If this is how you treat your regulars i guess i am better off

        Actually i ordered yesterday pizza worth rupees 455 and after delivery boy went from restaurant after half hour i got notification food is delivered to you and i didn't get my food. Please do something i want my refund if possible.[protected] this is my order id number. Really disappointed with this service swiggy as better than zomato. Please sir do something i hope i will get refund thank you so much

          I placed an order for mixed fried rice (1 x ₹130) but whereas i have received eeg chicken rice. This is so pathetic service provided. Have been waiting for lunch for one hour just for this order.

          Customer support tells they have forwarded to concern and investigate the issue. These people try to fool customers.

          Will never recommend for this app.

            I think there must be court to solve the problem found in ordering items through mobile application.

            I have ordered om namkeens worth rs 210/- and immediately cancelled on january 9 at 7.04 pm order no.[protected].

            In above event i saw my amount from my paytm deducted without my confirmation. Now i wanted my amount back to my paytm account.

            After lot of messages and emailed matter my problem is not solved. On the contrary the items not received by me.
            Finally i have lost my amount of rs210/-.

            Zomato replay and my complaint as emailed are as under:-

            Hope you are doing well.

            With regards to your concern, please be informed that zomato doesn't allow / support cancellation of the orders post confirmation by the restaurant. It is so because once the order is confirmed, restaurant starts working on / preparing the order.

            If any order is cancelled the amount of the cancellation charges is equal to the amount of the order.

            Feel free to reach out to us in case of any queries / suggestions.

            My claim
            I still tell you you have deducated my amount without my confirm action. Because you app does not have this facility.

            I was checking any discount offers in your order. But you app has placed order without my confirmation.

            Then i stated cancelation of order. Your person niether supplied the material nor arrange refund.

            My mistake is not there. If item not taken then refund to be arranged.

            If your policy is not to refund then you can get me my items.

            Paying money and not giving things is the wrong policy of your business.

            Clerify your policy of business. If i am not satisfied then get me to contact your top person to solve this.

            I hope you are clear to understand no item taken money to be refunded.

            My name is Surya Shankar, Yesterday 05-Jan - 2019 I was charged twice for the food.
            I had booked the food on 5/1/2019 .
            RS.501 was deducted twice.
            RS.501 was deducted from my debit card twice.
            I tried the zomato customer care service.all of them don't exist itself.
            Is this the way you treat your customers?

              On 5th november, 2018 i ordered from a restaurent named wraps and rolls. I had paid through debit card but the order was not received by the restaurent as it was closed on that day. A zomato agent called me and told me the same and he said u will get your refund back. But i didn't get it till now. My name is prabhjot kaur. Please refund my money back or otherwise i'll take strict action against you.

                Order ID [protected] got cancelled few mins before it was supposed to arrive at my door step. Order was earlier confirmed and then I was told that it's a black zone after approx 30mins. At the same time another order from Zomato got delivered at the same address.(Order ID [protected]). What kind of justification is this that the rider can't deliver to this black zone anymore. I need an answer. Why did the order get confirmed. I have all the messages and screenshots. This will definitely be circulated. NO MORE ZOMATO people will definitely die hungry one day.

                Today we purchased ilayil oonu and fish curry from hotel aavi Kochi, Kerala.
                Fish was rotten.
                The taste of rice and curry was also pathetic.
                Due to this we had to prepare our meals.

                  I had received a chicken biryani from zomato which was not at all good in quality and seemed stale. The chicken peices were burnt. I had complained but no action was taken. But it has been more than a week and no one has taken any action. They told that the technical team is taking care of it. But they haven't reached to me yet.. My order no is [protected]

                      I ordered food from zomato on 31dec18. Order number [protected]. First they kept saying that it will be delivered soon, for at least 3 hours. It never got delivered. It completely messed up party at my place. Then i followed it up with them for refund for last 10 days but to no avail. They are saying contact their vendor for more details or getting order delivered now!! (It's placed 10 days ago).

                        Today at 3:12 pm i have ordered in dominos pizza through zomato app and did online payment of Rs. 208 through BHIM UPI.The amount was deducted from my bank a/c but it was shown as 'payment incomplete' in the app.I have called the restaurant and got to know that no order is placed as well.Kindly solve this issue and arrange to return the money deducted from my a/c.

                          I ordered cake from brown sugar jaipur through your goodself at 9:50 pm and paid online. The time of order delivery was 10:30 pm but rider and your team did not deliver my order and cancelled it beforehand. I am continuously asking for refund because it was your fault that you did not deliver my food at my home. "my phone was not reachable" as claimed by your team but this was not the case. You did not call me at all and i was waiting for the whole time
                          I want a refund back to my bank account immediately. Or else i will file a police complaint along with consumer complaint at consumer forum.
                          No delivery boy arrived at my place nor call came. U simply cancelled it.
                          I wnt my refund back. Its ur fault only coz i again ordered another order at 10:55 pm the same food from the same place and it got delivered with proper response frm the concerned delivery boy. So i want my refund to my bank acct imedtely. @zomato @zomatocare order id -[protected]

                          Nobody came from zomato/delivery boy to my home/address/location. I was waiting for the whole time at the location only.
                          Delivery Boy and Zomato purposely cancelled my order and stolen my money.
                          No Response yet from their side.
                          I want my money back from them
                          Please take cognizance of this matter immediately @consumerforum

                            Terrible service! I’ve ordered mutton biryani and what i’ve received is plain biryani rice with no mutton and the mirchi salan that comes along wasn’t sealed and was all open in the covering. Ridiculous customer service zomato does! 125₹ spent on something which was trashed rather than eating. Chuck it! They refuse to replace and refund. Some guy eats customers ordered food n packs n seals with zomato tape and the service these do is absolute #. Straight forward n rude. I think i will not leave this here. I expect 125₹ refunded immediately. I feel like i’m chatting with a robot who copy pastes or types the same in his own voice of words for everything that i say! What kinda a service is this? I need 125₹ to be refunded immediately! Not everyone is rich n can afford so much to pay online to order food when hungry. Thank you.

                              Hii.. I am kishor. I ordered in zomato ladt saturday but no placed and balance deducted in my debit card for this order. When i search zomato serivece centere and i called him and ask refunded inquiry. He told me give your account details and refunded now. Bt he did not refund and he deducted all money to my account.                                 On 9th january 2019 there was a transaction from my paytm wallet which was unknowingly got deducted of amount ₹70. I don't know what was the order but it was not done by me. Also i didn't got any message or any order from regarding payment. I am attaching below the order no. For reference.                                   I had placed an order on Zomato from Empire Hotel on 8th Jan at 01:51 am #[protected] and it was canceled and returned because I did not respond to the calls. I think it was very unfair as the delivery executive called me at 2:26 AM and then the company called me at 2:39 AM but I called the delivery guy back at 2:44, it’s not even 10 minutes! By the time I had called him, he had already returned the order and said that he had to cancel it because he had called me a bunch of times, however, this is not true, he called only ONCE. Isn’t that a bit too hasty for a decision? I had clearly mentioned my apartment building name and number as well as the landmark but he didn’t even ring the bell. He simply reached downstairs and when I didn’t pick up his one call, he called the company and they canceled the order. I didn’t even get my money back due to the cancellation charges. How is any of this fair? If I didn’t respond within 15 minutes then it would be understandable but I responded within 8 minutes and yet I didn’t get my order. If I hadn’t answered the door then it would have been logical to cancel the order but without even entering the building he canceled it. Is this some sort of a joke? I was very very angry about this unfair treatment by Zomato. WHO DOES THAT? ONE CALL AND THAT'S IT? As you can see, I tried calling back at 2:43 but he had already returned the order till then.

                                    Zomato uses any mistakes by customers to its best and start charging cancellation fees. Reached out to customer care in seconds and they said since you have pressed cancel you will be. Just wanted to reorder from Zomato credit (which I had got due to another pathetic experience)
                                    Zomato experience and customer service is so pathetic and irritating....

                                    I placed an order today with Zomato at 3:50pm and I was informed on the app that the order will be delivered by 4:48pm. At around 4:45pm I had a word with zomato customer care asking where is my order. They said that it will reach in about 10-15 minutes. I asked them to cancel the order but they declined it saying that we will not provide any refund for this. And since then, after every 10 minutes they jept saying that the order will reach in 10 more minutes. Finally I got the call from delivery boy saying that he's on his way to deliver the order at 5:35pm.

                                      This is totally ridiculous... Right now... At around 3.05am a guy rang my bell... And said i am from zomato and came for delivery for food which we never ordered, is this your customer service to disturb a person at night and say address mistake... What the hell is this... Totally ridiculous staff behaviour... Very unhappy with your this kind of service totally dissatisfied.
