Dear sir,

I mistakenly order ([protected]) one item for which i never ate. So i informed same to zomato team before acceptance of restaurant and they said we can't able to cancel your order and they said you will charge of around rs 500 and blah blah blah.

So if a person mistakenly order something then why they are not accepting the cancellation of order.

    I have ordered my kfc. They never called me. They said me they tried to call me and also rang my door bell. They lied. I was waiting at my door step waiting for their call. I did card payment. Zomato refused refund. I want my refund as this is totally not my mistake. Valet ate my order or what? Nonsense. Money is not a joke. I need my refund. As soon as possible

      Dear sir,

      Am writing this mail to explain my case and prove how cancellation charges levied unethically on my recent transaction.

      I have ordered food from behrouz and cancelled the order but at the same time, the restaurant also not confirmed my order (See the screenshot below). I have not received my refund as your policy allows me full refund before restaurant confirm the order. Am regret to inform you that even after several follow ups am not contacted by anyone through phone call or not provided any contract number for me to talk to your team.

        I placed an order on 12 jan 2019 & paid rs 395 from sbi netbanking at 23:34 pm (Ist). Reference no. For transaction is "igafeeqbn9". The amount got deducted from my account but the order pwas not placed, as confirmed by budha treats restaurant. I waited for sometime thinking that zomato will intimate me that payment will be reversed but nothing of that sort happened. Your app and customer care numbers are not even working. No action has been taken...

          Hi i have ordered food on 13/01/2019, from "jaganath hotel and restaurant", jp nagar bengaluru, food quality and quantity was worst. So i reached out customer care for help, i paid for order is 90 rupees they refunded only 22.5 rupees as zomato credits, and they didn't give proper explanation to difference amount. I need my justice for difference amount. And the same mistake happening second time.

            I ordered 6 rolls in two different orders. 1 for : 3 malai tikka rolls another for,
            2 chilli chicken rolls, for which i made a payment through my yes bank debit card (Details saved with me)
            After waiting for the routine time, just 2 rolls were delivered by mr. Balwinder
            On enquiring about the rest, i was told by my rolls that they had delivered 5 rolls from their kitchen to the delivery boy. On talking to balwinder he told that the two rolls were the entire order that he was asked to deliver.
            It has happened earlier as well with chaurasiya paan where one of my paan's went missing and was not responded by chaurasiya and somehow i ignored it, probably because of a smaller thing. But with today's happening i feel "cheated" as a customer. Besides losing my money i had to cut a sorry figure in front of my guests. Have lost faith in your company and probably the "last order" with zomato and my rolls.

              I had placed a order but order was declined by restaurant and we called restaurant and they confirmed that they can't take order.. But zomato people are not ready to refund they are saying that they are taking amount as cancellation charge.. But restaurant people confirmed that they haven't delivered anything for that order.. Without delivering food why they are charging cancellation charges.. I want refund immediately... Y i have to pay without taking the food or cancelling the order...

              And when we tried to contact staff they are not ready to give any details instead they are just saying send mail and they can't do anything... They are very much interested to send messages about offer but not ready to provide order details once placed.. worst customer service...

              Why customer has to pay if restaurant declined the order... And even restaurant also confirmed that they haven't delivered food for our order.. then y cancellation charges are taken from us... Zomato is looting people in name of hidden rules and charges.. not at all acceptable.. this is not the way to provide service to customers..

                The details of the order is mentioned in the screenshot. Kathi junction, sector 62, noida, (Up) restaurant delivered food with the lesser quantity than the mentioned one. They stated the order quantity is 750gms whereas the delivered food weighed 730gms including the packaging box, the salad and the chutney. Moreover there was no bill with the delivery. The customer care was forcing me to accept the delivery which is unacceptable. Much disappointed.

                  I placed the order at 8.26pm on 12th jan 2019. I got a message later saying that the order would be delivered in 20 minutes. But by the time order was delivered it was 9.40 pm. To top all this off, their tracking is inaccurate. The updates don't reflect in your mobile and at times you can't even reach the customer support team.

                  Ive had multiple instances where my order from dominoes through zomato failed. To top this off when i was finally able to reach the customer support, they were pretending like this was a one time issue wherein i had encountered two huge issues on the same day...

                  Absolutely useless support from the executives. They just keep asking you to wait 20 minutes.

                    I have order food on 11.01.2019
                    But the restaurant was not giving confirmation of order till 10 mins
                    I was getting late coz i have to board a train

                    So in zomato apps chat i have text them that i m getting late pl cancel my order as it's not confirmed by restaurant after 10 to 12 mins

                    So after 16 mins chat guy was telling me that your order is confirmed

                    I have asked chat guy that give me time of order confirmation but he is not giving me.

                    But i have screenshots here pl check it out

                    Kindly resolve my problem of payment refund

                      I tried placing an order today in the morning & paid rs 103.62 from sbi netbanking i. E. On 12th jan at 10:05 am (Ist). Reference no. For transaction is "igafeazbc1". The amount got deducted from my account but the order placement didn't progress further. I waited for sometime thinking that zomato will intimate me that payment will be reversed but nothing of that sort happened. Your "support" on the app is not even working. I have sent a feedback also mentioning the same issue but no action has been taken.

                      I contacted the Bank & they resolved my query. Zomato has the WORST customer support. They neither attend any call nor any message on their App. All thanks to SBI customer care service.

                        My zomato account is inaccessible to me. Ihavent got any mail or reply.
                        I used my google account to create my zomato account. Yesterday my zomato account itself got logout from my phone. When i tried opening it with my google account it created my new profile. How is it possible that the same account which was opening my level 11 zomato profile did not found my previous account and created a new one. Please its a lot of effort since more than 2 years that i have reached this level. Ihave written lot of mails and i still cannot open my zomato profile it just somehow became inaccessible.                           I had received veg pasta but i got to know that chicken is missing when i was finishing the bottom part.

                          The customer care rep kept on asking snapshot.. How will i give the snapshot of missing chicken from half eaten pasta, i don't understand.

                          I had been ordering from zomato for more tgan a month daily so they should know why would i lie..
                          All i wanted was my refund but just had the worst experience with chat rep.. If this is how you treat your regulars i guess i am better off

                            Actually i ordered yesterday pizza worth rupees 455 and after delivery boy went from restaurant after half hour i got notification food is delivered to you and i didn't get my food. Please do something i want my refund if possible.[protected] this is my order id number. Really disappointed with this service swiggy as better than zomato. Please sir do something i hope i will get refund thank you so much

                              I placed an order for mixed fried rice (1 x ₹130) but whereas i have received eeg chicken rice. This is so pathetic service provided. Have been waiting for lunch for one hour just for this order.

                              Customer support tells they have forwarded to concern and investigate the issue. These people try to fool customers.

                              Will never recommend for this app.

                                I think there must be court to solve the problem found in ordering items through mobile application.

                                I have ordered om namkeens worth rs 210/- and immediately cancelled on january 9 at 7.04 pm order no.[protected].

                                In above event i saw my amount from my paytm deducted without my confirmation. Now i wanted my amount back to my paytm account.

                                After lot of messages and emailed matter my problem is not solved. On the contrary the items not received by me.
                                Finally i have lost my amount of rs210/-.

                                Zomato replay and my complaint as emailed are as under:-

                                With regards to your concern, please be informed that zomato doesn't allow / support cancellation of the orders post confirmation by the restaurant. It is so because once the order is confirmed, restaurant starts working on / preparing the order.

                                If any order is cancelled the amount of the cancellation charges is equal to the amount of the order.

                                Feel free to reach out to us in case of any queries / suggestions.

                                My claim
                                I still tell you you have deducated my amount without my confirm action. Because you app does not have this facility.

                                I was checking any discount offers in your order. But you app has placed order without my confirmation.

                                Then i stated cancelation of order. Your person niether supplied the material nor arrange refund.

                                My mistake is not there. If item not taken then refund to be arranged.

                                If your policy is not to refund then you can get me my items.

                                Paying money and not giving things is the wrong policy of your business.

                                Clerify your policy of business. If i am not satisfied then get me to contact your top person to solve this.

                                I hope you are clear to understand no item taken money to be refunded.

                                My name is Surya Shankar, Yesterday 05-Jan - 2019 I was charged twice for the food.
                                I had booked the food on 5/1/2019 .
                                RS.501 was deducted twice.
                                RS.501 was deducted from my debit card twice.
                                I tried the zomato customer care service.all of them don't exist itself.
                                Is this the way you treat your customers?

                                  On 5th november, 2018 i ordered from a restaurent named wraps and rolls. I had paid through debit card but the order was not received by the restaurent as it was closed on that day. A zomato agent called me and told me the same and he said u will get your refund back.                                     Order ID [protected] got cancelled few mins before it was supposed to arrive at my door step. Order was earlier confirmed and then I was told that it's a black zone after approx 30mins. At the same time another order from Zomato got delivered at the same address.(Order ID [protected]). What kind of justification is this that the rider can't deliver to this black zone anymore. I need an answer. Why did the order get confirmed. I have all the messages and screenshots. This will definitely be circulated. NO MORE ZOMATO people will definitely die hungry one day.

                                    Fish was rotten.
                                    The taste of rice and curry was also pathetic.

                                      I had received a chicken biryani from zomato which was not at all good in quality and seemed stale. The chicken peices were burnt.
