On December 21, 2018, I had ordered food and paid the amount by credit card. The payment was successful and the order was confirmed. I got a message saying that order was picked up and the food was on the way. Due to an emergency at home, I could answer the phone call on my mobile. I received about 4 missed calls and I called back immediately. There was no answer. On my second attempt, the delivery answered and said the order was cancelled.
I wrote to Zomato customer care and got a response saying the delivery was cancelled because I did not pick up the call. This was the new policy of the company. I wondered why this policy was not shared with the public and why the food could not delivered because the address was provided.
I need my amount spent to be refunded and compensation to be provided.

    I have orderd lunch at 1:20pm and it was supposed to be delivered within 30-40mins. I waited till 3:50pm and called at restraunt and they informed it was dispatched at 2:10pm. In between valet didnt pick the call. After this i pinged the customer care and without any confirmation my order was canceled not even with a option to repeat the order. On enquiring i was told food is not dispatched by restraunt and then when i told i called at the restraunt with order id they told it was diapatched.After that the executive told valet misplaced the order. The question is not about refund or stuff loke that...where is the integrity?? I was not even informed that it would take time or order will be canceled

      I ordered from faasos through zomato on 28th December 2018 at 8:45 pm and it got delivered at 11:30 but the restaurant marked the delivery time at 9:45 pm, so I Contacted zomato customer support and told them that the delivery time is marked wrong in zomato. They said they cannot do anything if restaurant marked wrong delivery time. After 2 days when I opened zomato app, it was showing that my account is blocked due to suspicious activity. How can this be a suspicious account. Also I had 345 zomato credits in my account and now I will not be able to use them

        I ordered my food on 10.48 pm on 31st december and i got a call from delivery boy on 1.32 am on 1st january said your order is ready now
        So i refuse to take that order. So do refund my money which i pay through online. My amount is for ₹910 so please resolve this issue and do refund my money

        Do find the attached file of proof that i made my order on 31st dec and i got a call after 3 hours.

          I ordered food the previous day and even after 1 hour i didnt get my order, eagerly i checked the tracking and boom! It says delivered.. Tried contacting the customer service but of no use they wont respond to you. I tried called the delivery agent he didnt pick the call up. I dont know if my issue gets sorted out or not but i can definitely say that they lost a customer.

          Ps: this was my worst nightmare that
          Came true while ordering food online.

            I placed an order from zomato using my paytm wallet, the amount got deducted and is paid to zomato, while order still showing not pending. There is no proper response from chat support.. They don't even count it as their fault. This happened bcz of no coordination between zomato and restaurant as restaurant stopped taking order while i was placing but they are saying it is bcz of my inernet support. Anyways i want my money back asap, attached is the screenshot for reference!!!

              I order food from the nazeer restaurant and they accepted the order. After some time he called me the order will not be delivered to you so how it was accepted the order by the restaurant since it will be delivered by the zomato delivery. Then i reached customer support and they called me and they let me know like the order has been canceled and silently drop a call. After seeing the response " i was not reachable on the phone and the location i mentioned. What a lier you guys are doing and looting the customer with the help of a restaurant. Please refund my amount else i will go to the consumer court and filled an fir.

              Suggestion to zomato: please listen to the customer first then get back to the restaurant. Offering people with 50% only work for some time but the faith you will be gain from the customer and never cheat them else it will shut down soon because of swiggy and foodpanda loyal than you.

                Ordered from dominos, they accepted at 10 50 pm but not delivered till 1 am in the morning. Nobody answering.

                They are not accepting responsibility for delivery or refund.

                Starving in new year night.

                Worst customer care support.

                This is 4 th time in 2 months.

                I don't have any other option other than zomato order online, since my place is not a metro city.

                So kept going back. Had it.

                Finished with zomato.

                  I have ordered from Zomato, restaurant name Spukies Veg and paid Rs222 but my order has not accepted and payment deducted. My transaction ID is [protected].

                  Zomato only knows to cheat their customers. Everytime this happened to me and I am seriously fed up from this. People please I request everyone like me to come together and let's file case against Zomato in consumer court.

                    I had placed Order from [protected]@U, through zomato app.
                    Placed on 31st Dec at 05:33 PM.
                    Id: [protected]. My money was deducted from paytm, but I was not delivered food.

                    Also, the driver was drunk and abusive. His number from which I was contacted is[protected].
                    the customer care says I was not available.However I was in constant touch with driver and have call recording to prove the same.

                    Please issue my refund and take appropriate action at the earliest.

                      Hello my self maahi.I placed an order on Zomato on 31st jan but I didn't received my food hot & fresh & also I also asked for extra oregano but I didn't received it too. I messaged a customer care executive named Varinder, he almost wasted my 1&half hours by saying I am woyon your concern & at last he said we are not dealing with such cases I forwarded your concern to another team they will revert u after wasting my 1half hr.                         Hi there,

                        I placed a order with zomato today at 5:44pm from my wife's mobile number. While placing the order my money got deducted and i thought to complain this with custom support. When i narrated the incidence, instead of helping me they avoided me by not reverting me back. And then when i said i'll complain this to consumer forum they said sorry for inconvenience caused. It's not about money but about the basic attiquettes. I'll be happy if you can help me with this.

                          Hi team, today i order 12 rajbhog from hotel prakash and delivery boy did not deliver the package. I waited for 1 hour and then i chat with the support team. They are saying that delivery boy tried calling us so many times and i didn't reply... Which is not true.. Because my mobile is in my hand and there is no miss calls... I am very disappointed with the service... And team is saying.. I am responsible for this and no money will be refunded... Please help me

                            One of the most disgusting websites ever... Ever seen.. On one delivery, the food packets were completely unsealed.. My whole food n money is wasted.. N they don't even give back a refund but just argue that they are right even after i had sent a photo of my unsealed food. This is so annoying. I just was so surprised when they started saying that the food is packed n u can enjoy it anyway even though its unsealed.

                              The person i talked to only kept apologising and did not help a bit i asked for a zomato credit i wasnt provided with any i had two transactions the first one the restraunt denied i did not get a credit for that i dint want a bank transfer i need to eat now not in the next 5/7 working bank days i letcthat go next trancaction the payment failed it seems they say but the money has been cut from my account no one picks up calls on your customer number. It is the worst app ever just looting people.

                                  I would like to report a bad experience with the zomato chat support that i had today.
                                  I had ordered few food items from the zomato app and it had a promocode which gave me a 50% discount up to rupees 100. I was just about to place the order after stamping the promocode but th app broke and i had to close it and reopen it. Upon reopening the app i could see the order was saved so i made the payment. However i found that i was charged tully and the discount was not applied. So i contacted the chat support to inform them about this. I also informed the chat support rep that i had tested this again by reordering the same food and applying the promocode and it gave the discount of rupees 100, however i delebrately closed the app and reop need it and found that the order was still there but only the promocode was gone and i could see the full charge. So i tried explaining this to the chat support rep but the rep was a bit rude and sarcastic. When i said this was the worst support i got, the support rep replied by wishing me for the new year and then also send me a smiley.

                                    I ordered brownie fudge on 29 dec, 2018. From gopals 56, kalkaji, govindpuri extention. Amount get deducted from the bank account (Oreintal bank of commerce) but order did not get placed.
                                    Now refund my money in my account not in zomato wallet. Do it fast please. Everyday i use the zomato.

                                    Please keep in mind the above said thing.

                                      Which i canceled within a minute and tried to order again.
                                      Later i got to know that, there is no refund policy.
                                      I made a chat with coustemer care, he said that we can't help.
                                      I asked do u expect me again on zomato, to which he replied, we will help u next time, not this time.

                                      This was my disastrous experience.

                                        I placed an order with you by using netbanking. But after payment process it gives message of error occured. And i again placed an order by netbanking and same error occured after payment process. Rs. 93.32 is deducted twice from my account. So please refund my total amount of rs. 186.64. Soon. Hope u will soon reply me & will refund my amount very soon.
