I had ordered for Dominos Pizza through Zomato today. The required amount of Rs 215 was debited from my credit card but the order was not placed.
I contacted Dominos and was told that the order was not received by them. So I placed a fresh order over phone and paid at the time of delivery. However, the initially deducted money has not been refunded

    Today i have placed an order of kadhai chicken in zomato order number [protected]. Kadhai chicken according to me should be chicken curry and i received sweet chicken. I received extremely sweet chicken with lot of sugar and jaggery it was tasting horrible. When i contacted zomato they behaved very irresponsible and did not provide any solution. Money waste.
    Zomato customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
    He was eating food while delivery
    I was cancel m order after that my money not get to my bank please return my money to my bank it is very urgent

      Dear Zomato you have done unauthorised transaction without my permission from my Paytm wallet.
      Transaction ID ; ZTD187637C3541954DB0
      And they are not replying my mail from 20-22 hours.
      They only told we will shortly contact you.
      I have also talked to the Paytm they told they need a confirmation from Zomato that the transaction was wrong to refund the money.

        I had ordered a biryani from Malabar Biriyani centre, Aminjikarai, chennai.

        I paid the order by online payment option. And they showed that the order is getting prepared and all those stuff. After 40 minutes they cancelled the order and they said that the guy was trying to call you and you weren't available on call. But the thing is that my mobile was with me all the time I did not receive any call or intimation from them.

        Also, the same time I was chatting with the support team regarding the order also and they said that the guy is on the way and exactly after 20 seconds the text popped up that your order has been cancelled.

        I had purchased it for around 160 rupees applying coupon worth 50% off.

        And the total amount of the food was Rs:85/- Inc of all taxes.

        But I didn't receive any calls and even food was cancelled after 40 minutes of waiting for my food to get delivered. Also, they mentioned that you weren't available to collect the food as per the screenshot attached below.

        They had deducted the amount and didn't even delivered the food. Also, I mailed 3-4 times to zomato regarding this on [protected]@zomato.com and I didn't receive any response from their end as well.

        I was really disappointed as I was a regular customer of zomato and this type of service was not expected from their end.

        Appreciate if they see this mail and revert me back.

          I have ordered some food against a promotion code EVE 40 . Order number:[protected] of Rs.239.95, and [protected] of Rs.142. According to this they should refund to me almost 150 Rs. I have complaint so many times but they are not refunding my money. They are continuously asking for some time.. 192 hrs left but there is no refund.

          Kindly please take some action to resolve this issue.

            I had placed an order on 9th Dec 2018 from Zomato app worth rs 180 details are enclosed in attachment. There were two items chicken Afghani and 5 chapatis.The delivery boy came with incomplete order (chapatis were missing)and was asking me to take that and talk to zomato people over chat about this issue.But as this was incomplete order I did not accept and returned the order hoping either he will come back with complete set or I will be refunded.Now over chat Zomato people told me that money will not be refunded, how blatant duping is that !! This wasn't my fault from any point of view. I had paid beforehand via NetBanking and was expecting the order so that I could dine.Not only I did not get any dinner but also Zomato is not going to refund the amount?What kind of service is this??
            The biggest thing is that delivery boy met me, he had come with incomplete order.But he has updated Zomato people that I was not at my home.He was telling me to take that incomplete order, how could I have done that.How could have I eated chicken without chapati???Now if a customer is going to pay before the delivery is been and trust you people that you will deliver.This is the kind of pathetic response zomato guys will provide really.As if I am foolish guy, paying them money without getting any food whatsoever.
            My whole encounter that day was reality on the trust these zomato people put on their customer.If the customer can trust with his whole prudence and pay them before hand online and the boy is coming with incomplete order and letting you know that i was not present as if this was my mistake.They did not even call me and cross check with me.By the way I am attaching as a proof the snapshot that he did call on that day and it lasted 1:35 minutes in which he asked direction and guided him.
            If this will not be escalated to consumer court then what will?

              Im complaining about payment and refund

              I m sristee chanda, from guwahati, i want to submit a complaint
              Payment made by me today is successful, but after payment it hasnt redirected to zomoto. So order failed abruptly. But refund was not provided. When i contact the bank, they said transaction was successful to merchant, for any information contact the merchant. But zomoto isnt responding. Bank statment says that transfer to atom technologies. But if transaction hasnt reached zomato, why the transaction is not rolled back.

              Today's fast life nobody has time so ordering food online has become a fashion take a look what happens in transit you must be eating somebody's left over in the packet meant for home delivery shocking but true.Look at this delivery boy Zomato tampering the parcel package in broad daylight.

                We placed an order of 960rs food and did a online payment as der wer no option of cod the #er delivery boy shubam denied to deliver the food after 30minutes and cancelled the order because he cannot drive himself on the highway and says its unsafe for him to reach here. Now my money wil transferd back after 2-5days what the # is this m hungry today now n my order is cancelled and wil be refund aftr 5days with whose permission did he cancel and with no intimation to customer. I called the hotel and asked they have the order ready but the #er subham delivery boy cannot deliver so their food is also wasted. First of all you guys are famous in media for eating customers food on the way. Too much your delivery boy rule the customers.. What action do u take in this i want to know or ill post this complain with my order in social media. And also i called the restaurant they have discount it was not applied in zomoto food is ready even dey are not ready to deliver.. Such pople. You work with. Shame on u people quit the food industry and start some fraud work.

                Online food delivery person from zomato eating some food and packed as it is at road side. This is also not good for health for the people. Some customer complaints relating to the quantity of food. I may think this type of fraud is going in all the major cities.
                I order from polar beer the payment as done by online but not yet comfromed

                  I ordered food from zomato and as i am capsicum allergic i instructed not to add capsicum but they did not notice my instruction whatsoever and delivered food with lots of capsicum for yhr last 2 or 3 times... I requested them to deliver my correct food or refund for the same.. They send zomato credits in my account and next morning when i tried to order food my account was blocked due to suspecious activity.. I also mail zomato regarding this but they are not replying anything just saying wr can not unblock it from our side and due to suspecious activity it has been blocked... I have ₹300 worth of zomaro credits in my account... Help me on this...

                  i mailed zomato about the same and they are not giving any reply regarding this just saying your account has been permanently blocked for suspecious activities... they delivered me the wrong product and when i complained about that and instead of taking any action against the restaurant they blocked my account and even without any explanation or reason.

                    I placed an order through zomato from meghana foods. I waited for an hour for it all this while my phone right beside me and with full network.. However after a while i open the app again to check the status and the app shows order rejected.. Soon i chated via ichat to enquire the reason and i was informed that since i was not responding to call and they could not reach me the order was cancelled and my money will not be refunded due to some new policy. 1st thing is i have placed the order from this place multiple times via zomato so my address should be familiar to the delivery guys and 2nd it is zomatos responsibility to try reach me if the delivery boy is unable to reach me via either message or email. If i was able to see the notification the minute it came in the app, i think they could have easily reached me if they tried but instead they have rejected the order and refuced to refund. After waiting for a long time for the delivery i neither get the food nor i get my refund. Would also like to make a note is that my service provider sends a message in case people have tried calling me and i am not reachable. I have not received a single message saying that any of your personal has tried calling. Since i was quick to respond via ichat this situation could have been avoided if your personals really wished to. I had asked them to either send the delivery boy again or to give a replacement or refund. I was refused all 3 and this was within 5 minutes of receiving the order rejected notification. This situation could have been avoided if your personals really wished to. I am not willing to just let you take my 700 rs without any efforts from your end.

                      I'm divyanshu arya i ordered a pizza from domino's using zomato application on 30/11/18 at 8:22pm but it reached after 55 minutes there was a 30 minute delivery guarantee. The amount was of 304 rupees i pay using my debit card. I call the customer service also they have started the process they gave me the transaction number -7529301 but still i didn't receive my money it's been more then 10 days also. My account number is -[protected] please help me as soon as possible. Thank you

                        5th time in a row ordered from this pathetic app 'zomato' and they deducted the amount from the account and cancelled the order. All you get is a message that it will be refunded within 7-10 business days, is this a joke. I wonder why are they even operating. Even the chat people (Where you can only get in touch) are of no use. They mock you moreover and say silly things knowing you must be irate.

                          I placed order with online payment with box8 it showed it was accepted then I got a call and message from restaurant saying we are out of stock so we are cancelling the order..after cancellation also it was showing in kitchen as status so I tried to contact the support which was really not helpful at this point so left mail to zomato still theew is no reply .it's been more than 48hrs still no initiation of refund and when I chat with support it says the order was delivered

                            I ordered food online using zomato app on 1st december at 9.43pm and payed Rs. 221.6 /- using paytm wallet . after 10-15 mins the delivery boy said that he will not be able to come to our adress, so zomato has cancelled the order and I got a message in my phone about the same.
                            I did not get any refuIn my zomato app it is showing that my order is delivered which is not true. I have all the text messages as a proof. I want to raise a complaint against zomato as when I am raising the issue to them they are saying that as I informed them 11 days later they will not solve the issue.
                            nd. In my paytm waller statement it is showing that the amount was credited at 9.43 pm and again it was debitted at 9.43pm by zomato.

                              Hi,

                              Udit kumar sarkar this side, phone number +91-[protected]. I ordered a dhaba chicken curry from aachari restaurant in nagpur, my total bill was rs.132.85 on mon 10-12-18. I faced a major issue related to this order.

                              Firstly, my order was very late even after i discussed the same with chat support, they said he is on his way but it still got late. Secondly and most importantly the food was pathetic. I told zomato support that i would be rating the delivery boy and the restaurant for this, however, due to some reason i am unable to rate the restaurant on the dialog box we get on selecting each order tab. Now, is this the kind of service you want to provide while having so many competitors in the market?

                              I have never faced such problems in chandigarh-tricity. But here in nagpur, there are several other issues i have been facing such as a restaurant didn't have a proper bill and upon request, they sent a bill on a plain piece of paper which is unacceptable. Any restaurant that provides a service and charges for it should have a proper gstin/ vat and a proper bill with gst/ vat should be generated. You should not be supporting such kind of behavior/ restaurants. You need to include the restaurants gst/ vat certificate mandatory for being registered in zomato.

                              The restaurants are doing offence by not paying tax to govt which is wrong and you too are wrong as you guys are supporting them.

                              Waiting for a positive response, not like the one your support chat system gave.

                              I hope you value your customers which are already depleting.

                                Sir, i have ordered pizza from dominos through zomato from patna, bihar on december 11, 2018 at 2:58 pm via my paytm account. Though the money got deducted but food not delivered. My order no. Is [protected]. I have called dominos many times and dominos told me that they will give me my refund but not given till now. Sir, please help me getting my refund.

                                    I have an account linked with zomato. I purchased a gold membership with that account and i have barely placed 5 orders and i don't know why, but all of a sudden my account got blocked. I wrote mails to them and never got any expected reply. I have been waiting for 8 days for a reply. They have not texted me and i really need to get this solved. I have a gold membership with the same account that i need the most. I have paid a lot for my standard to buy that membership. How could they do this without any information and even after doing that they are not replying the way the are expected to. I have asked the to call me but no, i have not received a single call regarding this issue from their side. Hope this gets to their notice and they resolve my problem as soon as possible.

                                      I have ordered food from zomato several times, but from past few days i am asking my food bills from zomato and they are daily saying next 24 to 48hrs you will get the bills on your email id, but still didn't get my bills, if zomato is loyal and legal why they are delaying to send me my food bills,
                                      I thought zomato is focusing on money making but not in customer relationship making.
                                      This is very unprofessional things what zomato is doing with me.
                                      Very very poor service zomato.

                                        Ordered 3 gopi fried rice and one mushroom biriyani in a hotel (Vijay delhi chats, west mambalam, chennai.)
                                        But they delivered only the single quantity of the fried rice in three packages. I didnt expect this from the hotel and zomato.

                                        We reported it to the zomato customer care, they simply say that they cannot take this complaints related to quantity. Then why they are having business with those fraudulent hotels.

                                        Order details: vijay delhi chats, order id [protected], order time 11th dec at 10.34pm.

                                        If they are not concerning about customer feedback, then why they have customer support to collect feedback. Searched for the consumer helpline numbers, the numbers are not working.
