on 10 december, but order was confirmed from restaurant side, bt then I got a call from delivery executive that restaurant was closed please cancel the order from your side. After that I cancel the order & after that I had a chat with zomato customer care too they said you will get your refund in 7 business days but till now I didn't get my refund.

    I ordered food from zomato and the order was incomplete which happened twice in 2 days so i raised a complaint and they blocked my account..
    I mailed them and they say my account has been blocked due to spam activities.
    My account id is nikhil. [protected]@gmail.com
    Kindly help me as i have zomato gold subscription as well and i am unable to use it.
    How can they block zomato gold subscription when i have paid for it for 1 year period.
    It's unethical wherein you have paid for something for a year and you are restrained from using it in the middle of the term

      As per the mail revert you have written that "With regards to your concern, please be informed that Zomato doesn't support cancellation of the orders post confirmation by the restaurant". I cannot accept your logic at all of Zomato Not supporting the cancellation of the orders. As much as restaurant is your customer, the consumer also is who is using your application. If your cancellation charges were minimal, it would still be justifiable. But a cancellation charge equivalent to the order value is insane. And the time lag in my case as I have told you is not more than 2 min.

      Ideally the order would not have even reached the kitchen. Must say, its disappointing to here as reply like this.

      Same case happened with me today! Generally they take half an hour to deliver food but today they claimed that the restaurant had already dispatched the food in 2 mins time.The app was showing the status of order as 'preparing' when I cancelled it.
      Hi Team, We placed order no [protected]. And after that we wished to cancel it and asked your zomato person to cancel it. And asked how much money will be deducted. That person did not tell anything about and deducted whole amount of order as cancellation charges.Neitger when we requested if this much amount is deducted better we will order but no option for this too.Now, i do not have the order neither my money which is all deducted as your cancellation charge.I want propee refund of my order.
      I wanted to modify the order and hence cancelled the order.And i ordered right away.They are charging me for that.And this policy is not mentioned any where atleat before cancellation they should have told me. They said it would be turned and all ### and after 4days they now saying ot wont be.I need the refund or else stop this app.

I'm highly frustration with your service level.       Please avoid ordering on Zomato. They have very bad customer support and always ignore the customer. Their customer executive is very rude and never try to fix the issue.

      I'm still waiting for their response but they ignoring my problem.

      I have by mistakenly ordered in a wrong address and I immediately contacted the zomato and they just said that your order has been prepared and gone for delivery! Like seriously it wasn't even two mins that they said that. And I said them im not in the address where I have placed so I can't even take the order and now they are charging me money for the order I have not even taken as a cancellation charge. How much is this fair? Please do avoid orders in zomato.
      I had orderd chicken chilly dry and was delivered chicken chilly gravy so I refused to accept the order as that was not what I ordered. Now everytime i try place order it shows me cancellation charge for that previous order which is ridiculous. It's not my mistake u sent me wrong order. I should fine you in fact for making me starve that day.
      I wrote several times to ur good for nothing team explaining them the situation but each time they send me a copy paste reply about ur policy

      I experienced the same thing. I ordered a regular sized pizza by mistake instead of medium sized can cancelled the order as soon as I placed it. Still whole amount was deducted and I got to know that 2 days later after frequently asking the agents about refund. Never pay before the order comes into your hands.

        I placed 11 order from them this month and i was cheated with 4 orders. They told me that we are sorry and we’ll get back to you soon but they never did. Every time i told them that you said this last time also but they say the same and i’m frustrated right now. I asked them for their contact number but they denied to me. I told them that i’ll file a complaint for this fraud but they didn’t say anything. Please help me and others who are daily at every moment cheated by this “zomato”, so called firm which is actually a platform. Running as a platform they have taken indian laws in their hands and are playing with them. Kindly see to the issue.

          Hi Zomato,

          I ordered from Cheesiano Pizza, and I paid by PayTM, the money got deducted and I got a notification that my order is on my way and also a text message saying that it is arriving..

          After some time when I checked as the order was late, zomato gave a notification of "Declined" order and when asked they said that since nobody was there they cancelled the order.

          Now when I called the restaurant they said that they dispatched the order... I didn't get any call or messages or any notification from zomato delivery person.. And after calling the restaurant I am getting a notification of cancelled order..

          What is this service? No order.. No delivery.. No service.. And money also got deducted..

          No proper response from help chat also... Asked to drop a mail.. Like what is the use of having a help chat then??

          Kindly refund back the money as I didn't get any order for the money I paid..

            In app shown it is delivered, but i didn't get the meal...
            I also get message in my mobile number..

            While calling to mr arjun pawar he is not responding..
            Your service person is fraud..

              Zomato has started ripping of customers after accepting order not delivering and now money is not been refunded such a creepy customer service by the manger Mr. Parth Kumar the ripper expert and assistant Mr. Amit (Job Id: 1003505) who is good enough to keep consumers in dark...I will make sure legal n strict action should be taken..few days back someone caught eating consumer food and now ripping off money what a shame to such company...

                I didn't get refund from Zomato and they cancelled my order without telling me and then not returning my money. I tried calling delivery boy but he still was not answering .And now they deducted my money as penalty

                He was standing next to my home for 5 mins, can't he come at my location .

                  I have ordered some day ago the dominoes and they can not be given me a pizza and the person say the payment refund you 7 to 8 day but can not refund... And today i order each other but can't be usw the promo code and i say them so cancel the order but say me can no t be refunded why give me my money i said them ya give money ya give me order this at my but he can not do that,...

                  I had made a prepaid order of meals from Mc Donald. the same was not order delivered for 2hrs and nor im got the refund
                  I was ordering from zomato and by mistake ordered from a restaurant in Hubli. But I didn't want it because I forgot to use coupon. So I cancelled it, but it is neither giving any refund, nor any other food that I can eat.
                  Zomato charges money when we order a food from there. Then they won't deliver the food by making excuses that I was not present to colkect the food or my phone was not reachable and say that since the restaurant had made the food they can't refund the amount. This is a fraud they are using to earn money.

                    I have ordered dominos pizza on 3rd december 2018, through zomato paying by paytm. But restaurant called me saying that they can't deliver pizza at my location so cancelled it and i would get refund within 7 -10 days.. But i didn't get any refund of rs.307 till today.. Dominos executive said that they have initated refund of my order on 4th december 2018.. Also, they shared with me a picture of this stating refund successfully initiated.. Zomato must refunded me.

                      I have ordered in zomato before 25 days. At the time of transaction there occurred payment gateway failure and the amount of rs.297 was deducted. And then i got a message saying your amount will be refunded within 5-7working days. Then after i waited for 10 days, but the amount wasnt refunded. I enquired with both food delivery merchant (Zomato) as well the online paytm payments bank through which i have transacted my amount. Nearly 10 times i have talked with these unresponsive merchants. While asking the bank customer care, they said there is no refund initiated from zomato side and while asking in zomato customer chat, they said we havent even recieved the amount. From both sides they were giving unacceptable and denying reports. Totally frustated and disappointed with both zomato as well as the paytm payments bank. Please do make steps for refund process.

                        I haven't ordered anything from zomato but my money from my paytm wallet keeps getting deducted..paytm support told me to resolve this issue with your side...this has already happened to me once but nobody helped...this keeps happening...no one your side is helping...you have only chat service as customer care which is pathetic...i consider this as fraud.

                            The zomato declined by their own and they are not refunding my money and saying that this is not under their policy.

                            Zomato is fake and they are doing with their customers i need my money...

                            The pizza company that is pomp pizza said he cant reach us i said ok he declined my order by his own he said zomato will refund it.

                            But zomato is saying its not under their policy..

                            What the hell matlab customer se paise le lie saman bhi nahi dia or baad me policy nahi hai..loo machi hai kya...

                              Customer service chat sucks and they don't find it their job to help their customers.

                              A few things i just hate and tolerate of zomato chat support:

                              Delayed response (10-10minutes)

                              No ownership (Keep blaming others/ restaurant for their own fault)

                              Canned response: copy paste text messages which is not personalized and don't make sense

                              Ignoring behaviour: they keep ignoring what you have to say. And reply copy pasting answer which are not helpful

                              No named agents: customer representatives aren't willing to give their names as it is "confidential"

                              Rude customer service: they ignore your concerns and close the chat while you're waiting for help

                              No escalation formats: no one will escalate your issue if it ought to be escalated to higher management team

                              No call backs: you'll just be lucky if you get a call back from them because they do not support on call which sucks. I pity elderly customers who have to sit and chat and give up on customer service

                                I paid for my food to the delivery guy and the money shows pending in my zomato app i have launched a complaint to the company against this they agreed accepted there mistake but it has been three months my charges has not yet been removed & i am extremely upset about it there customer service is so poor it is absolutely impossible to get in touch with them

                                  I had placed an order through the zomato app and the order was confirmed and it said that a rider was at the restaurant to pick up my order. But after 45 mins of waiting, a rude customer care representative from zomato calls me to inform me that he’s cancelling my order as it is outside the delivery zone. I have ordered from the same restaurant before to the same address and it’s been delivered with no issues so why the sudden issue now?! And shouldn’t the customer be informed before and not after 45 minutes of waiting for the order. I’m truly disappointed by this!!!

                                    I placed an order through ZOMATO on Dec 17 for Rs. 238 (Bikanervala, Punjabi Bagh, New Delhi) which I never received.

                                    After making online payment, the transaction failed and my account was debited by Rs 238 from zomato.com

                                    After my account was debited, I never received my order number and other details. And no Tracking and delivery details.

                                    You have charged my card for Rs 238 and you are responsible for this fraud. Kindly put my money back into my card or else I go to Consumer Forum with a complaint for Online Fraud

                                    Here are the proof of charges:

                                      I ordered a meal from Zomato tonight around 7:20 pm .
                                      My order was confirmed and i PAID THROUGH PAYTM.
                                      Due to some reasons my phone was switched off and when I switched on my phone, I found out not only they have cancelled my order but also taken my money... and the reason being “i was not able to pick the call”...
                                      If I didn’t wish to receive my order why on earth I would have given them MY ADDRESS AND ABOVE ALL MY MONEY ... Now they are like - ‘no, we will not refund your money’ ... they didn’t even come to my place... they just cancelled it because I was not able to receive my call

                                      What would they do if I chose for cash on delivery... and then said no..
                                      Day by day, Zomato is doing some fraud... earlier their delivery man used to eat customers’ food and now these people are taking their money...
                                      Its a humble request to go for this matter

                                        I have ordered black forest cake 500 grams in ck's bakery on 1st december and the order was confirmed and then they detected money from my account and later which i had a msg that due to some technical issues the order has been cancelled... And the money will be refunded in next 7 possible working days... But yet i dint get my money back.. So please take some steps regarding this... And solve it as soon as possible...
