I have ordered butterscotch milk shake from creamstruck hyderabad on 9 december, 2018 (Order no. [protected]). I did not get my order but it's showing its been delivered to. Me.. The payment has bren made online. The delivery boys attitude is very very pathetic. This is the 2nd time i m facing such horror from zomato.. Plz refund my money at the earliest.

Just becoz u provide discount u will play with customers again & again? Very unsatisfactory service from Zomato and team and the delivery boys should be provided proper training for how to talk with customers.. This is shameful for Zomato..

I have ordered one choco brownie fudge sundae from polar bear on sunday 3 dec, 2018 and my order id is [protected]. Delivery agent has refused to deliver the product and my amount got debited from my card. I need my money refund immediately.

    I placed a food delivery order #[protected] on zomato appat 5.53 pm on 6th dec. My wallet was debited at 5.53 pm. Within 2 minutes, i realized that i have made a mistake. At 5.55 pm i called the restaurant and asked them not to proceed with my order. They agreed. Simultaneously, i informed zomato through their chat service that i had placed the order by mistake and would like to cancel. Incidentally, zomato doesn't have a call centre for their customers - only a chat service. The chat service representative acknowledged. At 6.03 pm i received a callback from the restaurant. I confirmed to them that they shouldn't proceed with processing the order since i have already confirmed cancellation to zomato through the chat service at 5.56 pm. At 6.14 pm i received an incoming call from zomato from a person who identified himself as raman.[protected] who confirmed that the order has been cancelled and that i shall get my refund in my ewallet within 24-48 hours. Later on, i again called the same zomato number at 6.44 pm and spoke to someone called karan. He also confirmed that i shall get my refund within 24-48 hours.
    Later, around 10.45 pm, the zomato chat service informed me that zomato has usurped the entire amount that i paid "as part of their policy". Their policy doesn't distinguish between how soon after placing the order, a customer cancels the order. This, in spite of the restaurant confirming that they did not prepare my dishes. The net result :
    A. I paid for the order.
    B' i cancelled the order within two minutes.
    C. Restaurant didn't prepare the item
    D. Restaurant didn't get paid by zomato.
    E. Zomato didn't refund money to customer.
    F. Zomato usurped the entire money.

        I order from zomato and the deliver boy was so ride despite passing from nearby streets first he refused to give me my order and then he go elze where to deliver the order just to ear points and now after 1 hour he delivered my order which was cold and zomato redused to issue refund what they told me is that they are escalating but their escalation never happens they just taking days and days and after desperate wait i am filing this complaint.

          Have been a regular customer of zomato and used to frequently order food from their app, sometimes even thrice a day. Twice, i ordered food from a restraunt, which had labelled the food with a green dot on their page on zomato (Green dot in a square box signifying vegetarian food). Both the times non veg food was delivered to me, which is unacceptable. I complained to zomato and after sometime they did provide me a refund. I then continued to order via their app, and a day after, my account was blocked and i recieved an email saying that my account was blocked due to suspicious activities. Also, in my very last two orders on zomato, i used a code eve40, which would give me rs.200 cashback on paytm. After they blocked my account, the cashback too was denied to me. I complained to their customer service but recieved only negative feedback for my complaints. Please do look into the matter as it us wrong on their part to make their customers suffer who majorly contribute to their profits.

              It seems thr is some issue going on with zomato app every time i tried to make payment through online payment option the money get deducted from my account and the order never get confirmed.                 Zomato always gives us stupid service. My bad experiences with zomato are as follows.

                1) i ordered chicken fried rice. But delivery person took wrong parcel from hotel (1000 days mysore). He gave panner butter masala alone. When i asked for my order. Both zomato and 1000 days restaurant refused to give my order. But money was refunded. At that hungry meal time. Is it possible to drink gravy alone? Customer care always saying same word sorry...

                2) issue with google map. Delivery person told that he can't come from that area. Order was cancelled

                3) money was deducted from my account but payment failed. Again customer care says sorry. Money will be refunded with in 5 to 7 business working days. My friends also faced same issue several times. Zomato is absolutely stupid service. Swiggy and uber eats are good. I never faced issues with them.

                  Hi,

                  I ordered some food on dated 06/12/2018 though my wifes mobile app with order no [protected] of rs 700 from barrackpore dada boudi restaurants.

                  Although it got accepted but later on cancelled keeping us waited for more than half an hour, i tried to contact them but nobody picked up the phone.
                  Also while contactig customer service through chat i came to know that it got rejected because my mobile was not reachable which was completely false and a sheer lie.

                  Now i want the refund asap my card and also actionagainst them.

                    I order it at 8:38 first the delivery boy playing going here and there when i called him said coming with in 10 min the its been 1 hr since i order food the delivery boy said no food is there as he never picked up the food.

                    I complain to customer support they reply me after 10 min and when they reply they said we will make your second meal them they gone after 10:00 same come and gone.

                    When i didn't recive any msg from them and gone to bed they msg me at 11:00 i don't seen as my phone is now power on 10 min. Later they msg i haven't heard so we are closing this

                    Kindly make a strict action they not even connecting to there seniors

                    Make them to pay good penalty

                      Hi,

                      I order some food woth rs 700 through zomatoon dated 06/12/2018 from one of the restaurant named dada boudi in barrackpore through my wifes mobile app ([protected]).

                      The order was accepted, prepared keeping us waited for half an hour and then all of a sudden, it got cancelled as i kept on watching in the live tracking, while i tried to contact the given no, nobody picked it up, i tried to chat with the help center they informed that it got cancelled because i was not reachable which is completely false as there was no problem in mobile network.

                      As i kept on seeking help from zomato help centre through chat and mail but till now, i have not received the refund.

                      I want my money back immediately, also action against zomato or retaurant whoever is at fault.

                          I made an order from zomato which was mackerel fry and a chicken mushroom soap. It was almost 8.55 pm since i had to take some tablet i ordered right away.. i informed zomato that my dish should be fresh since it was a fish.. i received an update from zomato that the instruction has confirmed by the restaurant.. in 15 mins i got a call from the restaurant that the dish is not available and asked to cancel from my side with chat facility in zomato. Even though it was not my job to do that, i started the chat conversation. I informed about this call to the customer executive via chat. He informed he will get back. meanwhile delivery executive gave me a call and was forcing to cancel the order from my side else i wont get my money back like it was my fault. I told him i have message zomato Please be patient.

                          Then there was no reply for 45 mins. It was almost 10 and i was starving. Since i hadnt got an update how can i order something more. After a long wait.. i got a mesSage

                          Your order is still in kitchen and is running late currently. This could happen due to peak order rush at the restaurant or sometimes any specific dish you ordered takes longer to prepare. Please be patient

                          I kept messaging that i recieved call from both restaurant and delivery guy that order was not available. I got a harsh message that they havent got an update like that. Still i was being polite and said please give me a proper update or cancel my order..

                          After 15 mins i received call from zomato that the order is not available. I said to him this what i was saying u people for a whole time and was telling what happen. But he was just mechanically giving me the answer sorry.. you will get ur money back. It was 10.30 and i was starving. I said im gonna approach consumer court because you have a bad service the answer shock me.. he replied no problem.. you do that..

                          They don't even have respect for the court and abide it. This is the only reason im writing this compliant and since most of the restaurants were closed i had to starve.. Its the harassment lot of people faces someone have to tell

                            I used code eve40 and snack40 for cash back
                            But cash back not credited till to my paytm wallet or zomato credits.
                            Zomato customer service is ranked 1 worst in world. Zomato customer service employees are not even useful for tea supply boys.
                            Better zomato founder close the company. He don't how to manage the employees.
                            I waited in chat for more than 2 hours. But no one resolved my issue. Please credit my cash back of this 2 orders [protected] and [protected] to my zomato credits. My registered number is [protected]

                              I have been ordering food from zomato gwalior for past one month and these people are highly unprofessional here. Once an order is accepted by the restaurant the riders refuse to deliver to the address provided, demand tips and bribes. The customer service chat is also highly irresponsible.

                              On 6th of december, i ordered a plate of honey-chili potatoes from a restaurant and the rider refused to come, i contact the customer service and they had the audacity to ask me to pay the rider extra money to the rider even though i was charged a delivery fee.

                              Today, on the 8th of december, i ordered a combo from a cafe and the restaurant calls me to inform that the zomato rider has not reached and my food has been prepared since 10 mins. The rider clearly refused that he had no idea that he accepted my order and the customer service was completely clueless, i have to now eat soggy, cold food just because the rider and zomato is irresponsible after going back and forth between customer service and the rider for almost 90 mins?

                              This is highly unprofessional behaviour from zomato and i would never recommend and anyone to order from zomato ever again.

                                On 6/12/2018 i ordered from indrani sweets order number [protected] and it was cancelled by the restaurant because according to them my phone was. They had my exact location marked on the tracker then why didnt the came at my doorsteps as their agenda says "delivery at the doorsteps" why they returned from half way? And for this i am paying the penality of the whole amount i. E rs 230 how fair is this. This is complete cheating from zomato and the restaurants side just because my amount was prepiad they take wrong advantage of it. And how can i have control over my mobile service provider network issue which caused my number to be unreacheable and why didnt zomato delivery guy came at my described location. They all are doing this for a purpose of misleading the customers and snatching away their hard earned money. I want my refund back because i was even ready to pick up the order from the restaurant also as soon as i saw that my delivery has been cancelled but they refused because they wanted to cheat me and take my money. This is really not fair zomato team.

                                  I am talkinh abt jst nw i spoke to a zomato customer care his name is deepak he ws soo rudei sd him that i ws luking for some thing else and some other thing ws ordered so i ws trying to cancel ithe jst cancelled the order and he added the whole bill pending in my next order.. This is not the how u treat ur customers. And i want to take oug that whole bill of the last order which was cancelled. Y would i paybthe whole bill for the cancelled order

                                    Placed an order with al bek restuarant through zomato. And after one hour of waiting for delivery, i am getting to know that the order is declined and the refund can also be not processed.

                                    I got to know on contacting at your customer service that refund is not processed as my phone was not reachable.

                                    Since i had already provided proper address with the room no., i dont see it as a valid reason for order been cancelled.

                                      Yesterday i have booked some food items from zomato from the vendor tea post. The order got confirmed. But after some time the shop informed me that the zomato delivery boy has cancelled the order. I got surprised at this instance.

                                      You are requested to look in this and take appropriate action in this regard.

                                      And how the said order is showing delivered in the status.

                                        I don’t have any regret to say this “ i am cheated by you like anything”. It’s not your mistake, it’s mine to trust you and install your app hence i have to penalize badly and i did.

                                        Scenario : i order on zomoto on 30th nov around 11 pm, 1 family biryani worth of 380rs for 4 members. After 35 min your delivery boy brings me a small biryani who even cant eat 1 person.

                                        I ignore to take it as it is not my order, my order for 4 members, i can’t took. With in a minute the status as changed delivered. I called to delivery boy, he was not picked up.

                                        Immediately i went to your zomoto chat, i didn’t receive it, how can he change the order delivered, no ans from you end, they said issue will be highlighted and needful wiil be done.

                                        No ans from your end from last 1 week, i chated with you team 3 time, every time is same ans, but now they are saying it’ not in my hand, we have a separate team, they will resolve it.

                                        Now it’s the new way of answering the thing, i hope you trained them very well to cheat cust. Order no :[protected]

                                        Now i need some answers from you, i don’t think so you can resolve it so just give me answers for me.

                                        · what’s my mistake here to trust you?

                                        · how can you change the status has delivered without happen?

                                        · is 7 days took to speak with delivery boy, whether it delivered or not?

                                        · how you can you send single biryani instead of family pack at least you can’t compare worth?

                                        A small suggestion from my end : “instead of cheating cust please increase your charges o[censored]sage that’s better, if we love your service we will pay but cheating don’t not worthy “.
