cashback not received even after 3 days of pickup orders

I ordered 2 veg biryani with zomato app on 25th nov 2018evening about 9pm each individually. Am very dissapointed with zomato for not giving paytm cashback for my pickup orders. I used pick50 promocode twice to order biryani from santosh dhaba, near begumpet. About 350rs duduced from my paytm account buy no cashback still recieved. I must get atleast 150rs cashback immediately, their helpline said wait for 48hrs but now almost 4days passed.....

2 days ago i have placed an order for papajohns through zomato with the promo code win50 it was my first time using zomato so i wasnt really aware but i got notifed that my order will be delievered after 35-40, a friend of mine was coming over and out of no where when i was checking the order it said that they arent accepting orders anymore and my order was cancelled!!!

    Recently i ordered in zomato with order id [protected]. Costs 351 inr. After one hour of time they said like order rejected as food is not available.
    If food is not available you have to provide some alternative as we waited for one hour and in the peek hours where we can go.
    They mentioned that will refund the amount and almost 10 days passed but i didn't received amount. If i trying to check with customer service, they are asking me to check with my bank.
    Boss why i will go to my bank. I paid zomoto and which should be responsible for my every question. Fully unhappy and disappointed with the services of zomato.

      Worst food served to us by zomato from thos worst resturent. On 24 th nov have ordered from order no [protected] three items. Chicken reshmi kabab. Chicken hakka noodles and chicken hydrabadi biriyani. Zomato served all rotten foods from the resturent. They is no chivken reshmi kabab served to us. Insted they serve non cooked chicken in white gravy which is extremely bad smell and wost condition which i am not sure what they served actually to us secondly noodles is abosolutely non cooked in white condition thry packed inside the container the biggest joke thrid hydrabadi chicken biriyani was abosuly taste less. Chicken is non rotten. Smelly. Cant even eat a single item. I sincerely request zomato to backlist such resturent in future which is spolling zomato's reputation in the market i also request zomato to refund my money on imediate basis to avoid any further action all food item pictures has already taken for further communication

          Hi,

          I made an online order for food from zomato on 27th oct for delivery from mcdonald's, total mall, old airport road, bangalore, but the call went twice to mcdonald's, ground floor, ashwini complex, 539, opposite vijaya bank, cmh road, indiranagar, some glitch i could not understand. I was told they will make the call and order for me which they did and i made a cash payment on delivery. But for the two times, i made online payment of rs.566/- each i was told i will get the refund of rs.1, 132/- within 7 days.

          Well, it's been more than a month and though i have written emails to [protected]@zomato.com and received few replies with the assurance that they are looking into it i am yet to get a refund. That was when i saw this forum and decided to raise my concern here.

          I want to know the reason for the delay in making the refund when they have accepted there has been double debit wrongly made. The details of the deduction from my account are as below:

          Its been a week since I sent a reminder on my Nov 29th complaint (Dec 30th) for my Oct 27th fiasco with Mc Donald's. I have not received any response as of now. Should I start sending daily reminders? Will that make you address my complaint faster and reimburse me?

          This is my fourth reminder on my Nov 29th complaint for my Oct 27th fiasco with Mc Donald's.

          It is really pathetic that you do not have any reliable professional working in your organization to address such issues that are reported. I have seen several complaints against your services and yet you have not taken any action to reduce the time taken to solve these issues. In spite of sending so many mails, none of your staff have bothered to even respond.

          You have taken Rs.1132/- for absolutely nothing! No food no water, not even a piece of paper, nothing !! How long does it take for you to acknowledge this fact?

            Ordered food at 12:30 am.. Was promised delivery at 01:05 am. But till 01:45 am food not delivered. Customer care helpless and useless.. Zomato does not allow to cancel order. Restaurant freshmenu was not reachable.. Didn't get food and chat bot says wait.. We do not entertain cancellation. I want answer for who is responsible for this cheating. Why should i bare this suffering.. And how zomato iw going to compensate me for this harassment.

                I cancelled the order after confirming from zomato's support team regarding order id [protected] on sunday, 25 November 2018 .They told me to cancel the order from the restaurant and i will get the refund.I have already confirmed this from their support team.They also commit that they have done the mistake by telling me to cancel it directly from the restaurant and misguiding me.This is their mistake since the employees doesn't know their own policy, they shouldn't have told me that I can cancel the order so I wouldn't have done the same.
                This fault is from their side and they should refund my amount.
                The support team has also accepted their mistake and told me to write an email to higher authority but they are supporting or taking the issue seriously.I have already sent u the screenshot from the support team chat .In it they are telling me to cancel the order and inform them.In another screenshot they are accepting their mistake and apologized.

                  Hey I ordered last night with this phone number [protected] with order number-[protected]
                  When got the notification of picking up food I asked your support to give me number of your dilervery guy
                  They said contact to restaurant..
                  When I contacted to restaurant that said talk to driver, driver told me he was here and was not able to contact I asked what number you have he told me 22 kind of number which was not mine I don't know then I talked to your support about it they said my paid money will not be refunded as it was my mistake
                  First of all your support wasn't able to provide me number of driver second the number with driver was wrong and my money got struck I want them ASAP and seriously I have to wait 1 and half hour and get nothing I was hungry af same on you, you are delivering food to Hungry who are paying you for services and this kind of services you providing?

                    Yesterday on[protected] I have ordered food from mobile app of ZOMATO at apporx 3.30 pm in Jaipur. I hvae opted for the code given by you SUN50 for 50% discount. The rates of Classic Chicken Burger was 130 and Tandoori Chicken BUrger was 170 total bill 300 on which I have to get 50% off of Rs. 150.
                    But the things which happened shocked me:
                    1. Without taking my permission you deducted Rs. 300 from my Paytm (there was no OTP or any Final intimation for making payment) Directly the money was deducted and order was placed.
                    2. When I have filled the column for Promocode by SUN50 either you should give me discount or you should deny the order, why you placed the order without discount.
                    3. When I tried to call on the contact number of JBT as provided on your app [protected] it was switched off.
                    4. Finally when I started chatting with customer care and complained about the incident, nothing went forward and it was showing the error that "Cant connect to server!".
                    Non of your customer care people contacted me.
                    I didnt picked up the food than also your app was saying that I have picked it up.
                    How hopeless your system is, you have ruined my Sunday. Kindly take my complain seriously and take necessary action against the incident.
                    Or I have to complain against your company in Consumer Court.

                      The complain is regarding order No. [protected]
                      Ordered on 26 Nov 2018 06:11pm
                      I immediately called the restaurant and requested to cancel the order as it was placed on COD by mistake. I assured the restaurant person that i'll immediately will order changing the payment mode. to which he rudely replied ok and customer care will call you and disconnected.
                      on chat support person said that you will have to take the order as its our policy.
                      The customer care guy who called regarding cancellation cancelled my order.
                      while placing the same order now it shows me cancellation charge for the order which was not even prepared.
                      The customer care says that the order was out for delivery hence that charge.

                      Why customer is treated like this?
                      now everywhere customer is the boss and suddenly Zomato feels that the are the boss and people will starve if they dont deliver.

                      ZOMATO should be banned

                      I want my account to be cleared and zomato to close down

                        The girl confirmed me that she will refund, audit the call.
                        Otherwise i could've taken the delivery on the same address which i have ordered.
                        This is completely cheating. The chat team is denying for refund, then why she has committed for refund.

                            On 27/11/2018 at 8:16pm i have order one veg kolhapuri & made payment by cc, my order no [protected].
                            The delivery boy has asked me for address, my wife has picked phone & told him to ask for land mark so u can get the details, he has suddenly started abusing her.
                            This was shocking for us as we have never expected such unethical behavior from such an reputed organization.

                            I want zomato to take strict action against him. And refund my payment asap

                              Dear team,
                              On 25nov zomato deducted 204 from my paytm wallet and refunded cashback of rs20. I did not ordered anything from zomato then how can they deduct money from my paytm wallet without my permission or without placing any order from my side. I already raised complaint in paytm also. Transaction code for zomato media pvt ltd under order number was ztd18f4aa709b67aca24.
                              Kindly refund my money and compensate as they are harrasing me and did not agreed to take my complaint. Paytm customer care also agreed that zomato deducted wrongly.

                                On 25th nov'18, an amount of rs. 679 was automatically deducted by zomato, even though i had not placed any order or authorized any transaction in any way whatsoever. The amount was directly deducted from my bank account, whose debit card is linked with zomato.

                                On the same day, i registered my complaint through zomato chat support and sent all available documents via mail, but the only response i received from them was the confirmation that there is no order placed on that day.

                                I have informed the same to my bank providers, and now i am forced to hassle with them to return my money, but to no avail.

                                What i am not understanding is that if zomato can confirm that there was no order placed, then why would they deduct the amount?

                                Please help me refund my money.

                                  I ordered food from 'majnu ka tilla' restaurant in gurgaon, the food they delivered was really pathetic in quality and it was very cold (Not hot), and it tasted like it was cooked last day so we had to throw half the food.
                                  Than i complaint on 'zomato chat support' on 24 november 2018 around 12:30 pm. They assured me some response from zomato team via mail as quick as possible, i waited for few hours no response came, now it's been 4-5 days i am wasting hours everyday ccomplaining on chat and they say the same thing but i have not received any mail. They delivered poor food, complaints gone unheard, and frustrated their costumer. Zomato has given me worst experience ever. Never recommend this app to anyone.

                                    I placed an order for chicken biryani on zomato from swagath grand. They sent me the order which didn't have swagath grand packaging and the chicken pieces smelt rotten and bad. I was on chat with zomato customer service for 4 hours. They kept saying they will send another order and they have escalated the issue to another department and that will reach out to me. Even after sending multiples images of bad food and taste they just kept me waiting.

                                      I placed an order through zomato app in john's kitchen guwahati, for an order of rs. 60.00 on nov 27, 2018 at 13.58 pm. Txn id: inb/[protected]/payu.in/food. Money was deducted from my axis bank account through net banking, but order was not showing in zomato, instead came as transaction cancelled and was redirected to the confirm order page.. Please look into this and try to revert back money to my account. There was also no helpline no. Mentioned in the app.
