I have ordered from kareem's restaurant, goregaon east mumbai branch through zomato app from and have paid the amount of rs 487.50 but at the very last moment my order has been cancelled and i haven't even informed about it. When i have contacted the customer care (Worthless and irresponsible) and then only came to know that my order has been cancelled. This is the second time my money is deducted and order not received in the very last moment. Earlier it happened to me on 25th april. And now today it happened twice. I am very disappointed with zomato and kareem's goregaon east mumbai branch. They are really cheaters. My order number is [protected], date of payment may 6th at 10:18 p. M. Please don't order with zomato. They don't care about their customers. And the worst thing is that i had to sleep emtpy stomach today as well as on that day.

    This is to inform you that, on 26 april 2018 two times tranasaction failed automatically when i was ordering food from zomato, and payment has been deducted from my account (Two times rs 5131.50) and they havent credited yet.
    I have tried customer care but they are unreachable always.

    I am not able to connect with any customer service representative of Zomato. They have wrongly deducted more than 500 rs from my paytm account. There is no active number to contact them. I am not sure what to do? And how to resolve this issue. Kindly help!

      I have ordered food at 10pm and waited for it to get delivered but the delivery never happened. Delivery boy didn't picked up the call and the web chat available made me wait for sometime stating the delivery is going to be made in 10min times but later informed that they are cancelling it as don't have delivery boy! Surprised to know the deliver guy left from restaurant as informed by web chat zomato but suddenly there was no delivery guy! Unprofessional behaviour, poor web assurance..

        I ordered food from this app for yum yum south resturant, noida. After confirming on app i get a call from resturant that they cant deliever my order after 30 minutes of accepting it.
        Asked them why so some server issues and all which i could not understand
        I dont know whom should be blamed, app or yum yum south

            This is ref. To my order number [protected] today morning. Order was placed on may 05/2018 at 8.43 am for a value of rs. 387.50. I got the message that order is confirmed. But when order was delivered one item (Poori) was missing. I contacted your chat centre for refund of my money that i paid through paytm. They replied after quite some time stating that they have given a credit of 260 (I don't know why is 260, because poori bill amount is only inr 221, is inr 39 is charity to me or a calculation error). I refused to take that because, i paid for poori and not for zomato credits. So i requested for the the cash back to paytm rather than the credits.

            Then they said your policy don't allow that, i asked where is policy? Show it to me! Where is it written? But unfortunately no definitive answer then the stands changed that that cant make part refund to paytm, i said refund the full money, i will pay back what is genuinely due to you. No answer for that. Only saying that cant pay, in the mean time i am waiting for response from o2 help. If required i can provide the full transcript of the conversation happened today morning through your chat.

            Its not the question of 221 rupees, which if you want you can keep it, and help your organisation grow by that. But its matter of principle, if there is policy and rule set by you then it should be known to the customer or else more importantly when a customer demands it it should be made available to them.in this case nothing happened. "its our policy take it or leave it" attitude.

            My issue is i am not intending to use their app or service any longer and this credit what so ever given to me is of waste. You can keep it with you. Only thing that i will accept is inr 2221 credited back to my paytm account.

            Looking for your intervention to resolve my simple issue by paying inr 221 into my paytm account.

                I am ordering mutton kheema biryani in zomato from Hyderabad chefs and order number is [protected]. I am waiting more than 40mins restaurant is confirmed and food is ready in kitchen but delivery boy is not available. They intimate after 40mins and without intimation they cancel my order. And I ask in chat support they tell very silly reasons. And they didn't answer properly. I was really irritating with the service I continuously chatting more than 1 hr but I didn't find any solution till now. Who is answering to me her name is mamata.she told that place order tomorrow and you can get coupon like that she answer. Is this proper way to speak with customer. I ask her to reinitiate my order again she replied it's not possible from customer chat support everything not possible then how can they cancel my order. I call to restaurant and asked status of my order they told zomato cancel your order with your permission. But I don't know. Is this a proper way they serve to people. Please consider and provide me justice.

                  Hi,

                  I had ordered a green quinoa salad from deliciouz - lodhi garden. The estimated order delivery time given was 3.06 pm, but till 3.46 pm the ordered had not been delivered. On top of that assurance was given to take the order and as a penalty my entire sum of rs 229 odd would be refunded. This has been initiated but now the order has been cancelled. What is the penalty for the fraud commitment and suffering caused as a result. I have not got any answer. I have categorically stated that my motive is not to get undue favours but a just penalty has to be imposed. The vendor too should feel the pinch so that no one else suffers. The funny answer i got initially for the delay was that my location was far but then how come they calculated the order delivery time. I am waiting for the course of action adopted. Let me see how serious is zomato about its customers. I have the necessary evidence to support my views stated above

                  The concerned restaurant is -Dietlicouz order number was-[protected] and ordered item- Green Quinoa Salad - amount Rs 229.50.

                  I want to see what action you guys take so as to compensate me for the suffering via fraud commitment given. The amount if Rs 229.50 has been refunded, but this is not the solution

                    I am a new user to zomato.
                    I had ordered yesterday a pizza of the brand your's pizza! After watching their text message which offered buy 1 get 1 pizza free offer on thursday. This i ordered from zomato for the first time. (Without availing any discount)
                    My order number was [protected].
                    However, i didn't get the free pizza from zomato while it was stated nowhere that the offer is not valid on zomato.
                    I have filed a consumer complaint on the national consumer helpline number online. My complaint number is 715536 and i seek from zomato refund of my money with compensation.
                    I was told to contact you for the same by consumer helpline number.
                    I will like a member of management to talk to me as all your contact numbers can't be contacted. I have tried them all.

                      I had placed my order at 11:30 pm using zomato's delivery services.
                      They had promised my items of purchase to arrive at 12:26 am. As i am writing this complaint to you, it is 1:39 am. I still have not received my items of purchase and the customer care support available on the zomato app has conveniently stopped replying. I am stuck here waiting for a response on whether i will get my items of purchase or receive a refund.
                      This has been a very regular ordeal for me with zomato and yet they don't seem to revert to any of my messages. If kindly like to file a complaint against them and will take any means of action.

                        This is the most ridiculous app i've ever seen in my life. They take your money and then dont deliver food at all and then keep that money too. I ordered food 2 times in last 2 days and both the times they dint deliver the food. This is highly frustrating. This fraud company should close down. Their chat support people talk like they own us and never reply properly. Very very blunt and rude.

                          I had placed orders for food on three different dates between april 20 and april 30/2018.

                          Two orders were not delivered and there was no call back to inform as to the status of delivery.

                          Just imagine when a person places an order for food and have to wait for over two hours whether food will be delivered or not, the person waits and remains hungry and then makes a do at night with meagre ready eatables at home

                            I have ordered from Zomato App on April 25th 10:18 PM. and paid the amount of Rs 250. But Zomato said we haven't received the paymeny as it was failed by the payment gateway and it will be automatically refunded within 5-7 working days. But my bank says the amount has been paid to Zomato and there is no need for refund. i have contacted Zomato customer care and they said they havn't received any payment so they're not responsible for it. But when i have checked the transaction details today it shows the amount of Rs 250 has been paid to Zomato on 25th April and there is no "refund of Rs 250". Now what should I do?

                              fraudulent service practice by zomato!

                              I ordered soyabean tikka, malai tikka and some other stuff from a nearby restaurant and i was given soyabean chap and malai tikka roll instead!
                              On complaining to zomato they kept me waiting for so long on the chat for around an hour! And finally told me that the restaurant people are saying they served the right order, and told me it’s off their limits to solve the wrong order sent complaint!

                              This order was rejected by melting pot. I didnt receive the refund or the order cancellation email or the refund reference number.

                              I have tried contacting chat they asked me to email [protected]@zomato.com and its been 4 days and no response.

                              Also there is no proper customer care. My money is stuck and my card issuer is asking for a rrn and refund email for which chat associates have no answer and are rude and there is no response from email team.

                              Worst experience. Playing a huge fraud game by luring customers with their offer and then not refunding the amount when restaurant rejects order!!

                              I have ordered family pack of fried piece chicken biryani from Cafe Babar with order ID [protected]. My friend got vomited after eating the biryani. I got insulted severely. I didn't expect such stupid mistakes from a reputed online food ordering company. Waste of food and money.

                                I have been having horrible customer experience with zomato for 3times on a row. They cancel the order after taking the money and credit it as points.
                                All the three times the restaurant say the food is unavailable. Today after 2-3 cancellations, one restaurant accepted and after 1 hour delivers a lesser order. Owner call and confirm he will send the remaining order. Then zomatoncredits the money for the non delivery as credit points. The restaurant stops taking my calls. End of the day the order goes undelivered.

                                  I placed an order for ghee rice+boneless butter chicken+hobo but where as I have received a wheat roti.. This is so pathetic service provided. Have been waiting for lunch since half an hour just for this order.

                                  Customer support tells they have initiated the refund into wallet where as I need it the way I have made the payment through paytm Wallet but denies for the roll back. These people try fool customers. Will never recommend for this app.

                                  I gave order for empire box 16 where as i have received a chapati instead of ghee rice+boneless butter chicken+gobi.. Pathetic service provided from zomato and the customer support sucks stating that the refund cannot be payment roll back as i made my payment through paytm wallet. Disgusting! Never gonna recommend.

                                    Just because it was a *cod* order, delivered me 20 minutes later
                                    When i was done with my lunch and was going back.. So that coster me as an extra meal

                                    Infact app never give me an update
                                    Always kept showing order is getting ready for 50 minutes so long
                                    And no confirmation sms or app for delivery that your order is delivered
                                    So pathetic.. Failed to deliver as per customer expectations.. And now they are not refunding my... 💰

                                      On 25th february, 2018, i made an online transaction of rs 1299 for zomato gold. First time it was a payment gateway failure but second time the transaction was successful. Usually the failed amount gets back into account within 3-4 days but it's been more than 2 months and it's not resolved yet. I tried to get it done with zomato and exchanged many emails but they are claiming that they don't have the amount. My bank, pnb is also claiming that the account had been deducted and it can't be brought back. I even tried reaching out to rbi but they didn't respond.
