Complaint about pedl rental cycles:

I mistakenly entered a different cycle number and my pedl trip was started with cycle 101217. But neither am i able to end the trip, nor am i able to locate the cycle. I am also unable to contact any pedl customer care number.
Please assist.

Please end the trip with cycle number 101217. I am being charged even without using it.

    My mobile no is [protected] and i was trying to book a zoom car pedl cycle at a nearby location but by mistake entered a wrong number and eventually trip got started, i am unable to locate the cycle and i am being charged for the ride. Could you please assist in ending the trip?
    I called to pedl executive and was told that cycle no 100468 is in chennai iit madras.
    Kindly lock the cycle asap

    The trip is still on and billing meter as well. Please stop the trip. I am unable to stop it.

      The trip that is showing active in my phone is not actually booked. I have just tried to scan it once that if it is working or not and from that time it is showing that cycle number 102322 is in trip but that is in trip and is getting locked and unlocked from my friends phone. And here it is showing that from my number it is in trip. Please help.

      I got TXT at 12.45 AM 1/6 /2018 on cell saying a payment for 10Rs is to Zoomcar (pedl) using the paytm wallet.

      I have not taken pedl on 5th, I tried to unlock one around 7:30 PM 1/5/2018 but it never unlock.

      This may system issue but it like cheating your customer.

          I rented a cycle from Pimple Saudagar, Pune. Cycle no is 101953, i have been tring to end the trip for last 1 hr or so, but it doesn't end, i get a message saying "request time out, please try again". I locked the cycle on the station and left it there. Please take necessary action.

            Hi zoomcar,

            I booked a car on zoomcar.com (Booking id:jps62kidt) for 31 dec 2017 in bangalore, when i returned the vehicle i got rs:2500 extra bill for over speeding.

            According to government rule it is mandatory to install the speed governor device in all commercial vehicles, otherwise the vehicle will not pass the fitness certificate. So my concerns are

            1. Why are you allowing those unfit vehicles for booking??

            2. According to bangalore traffic police over speeding fine is rs:300, so how can you make it rs:2500 for your vehicles for just crossing the speed limit??

            3. Why don't you keep at least a buzzer sound indication for the speed limit. What rights do you have to charge 2500 for the first time customers who are not aware of such policy and no buzzer sound on 125/km?

            One year before you were charging rs 500 for over speeding now it is 2500. What is the logic behind this??. So it is clear that you guys are looting the customers using your hidden policies and rules and it is second income for your company without any investment.

              I locked the cycle after 15 mnts only when I booked but it could not able to end. Actually I did not use the cycle because I could not able to unlock it. After 10 mnts of time I realized the trip is going continuously and my paytm balance is deducting. Can u please take care about this. The cycle had not Been moved a bit, you can check with the location map. Thank you.

                I had got Rs.12824 as a Refund amount from Zoomcar in my paytm wallet. I have triggered "Return To Bank" button by mistake. paytm shows that money has been transferred to your bank account successfully. and i just want to know that in which account they have transferred money?, i mean in Zoomcar's bank account or in my Bank account.??

                  At the time of registration mistakenly i uploaded my dl into my friends account. But now when i'm trying to re-upload it into my account. It's showing dual account message. I want to get my dl out of his account as it can be misused too. And when i called zoomcar they r telling that it's in their policy once uploaded can't be removed they should have told it earlier while registration. But now the thing is i want to get my dl out of his account.

                    It has come to our attention that the cars have been used in excess of the paid rental amount and in accordance of the agreement duly verified and acknowledged by you, you are liable to make payment of ₹7687 to the company. Please note that failure to make payment of the due amount will render you liable to civil proceedings and the company would be entitled to recover the due amount by attachment of your property (Movable/immovable) or otherwise. Further, willfully declining or making delay to pay the above said outstanding amount could also subject you to criminal proceedings.

                    We therefore request you to make payment of the aforementioned outstanding amount of ₹7687 within 5 days of this mail, failing which we shall be constrained to initiate against you civil and criminal legal proceedings as are warranted by law for recovery of the due amount. Please note that in accordance with the member agreement displayed here, duly verified and acknowledged by you, the company is entitled to recover all costs incurred in initiation of legal proceedings.

                    Hi,

                    Firstly, i was not aware of remotely unlocking the car through the app and i almost spent up to one and half an hour to find the car at the spot mentioned in the booking. But the staff whom i spoke to was not helpful and he made me wait for more that 1 hour in that haunted place where there was no one in that place and i had to travel back to my home back & forth and finally the car was unlocked by the staff however i noticed and informed about the damages and the dents on the car but the staff said that they have already noticed it and in the midnight i was not able to capture those because of the bad light and i have paid whatever i had owed in the past to the staff in cash but they have sent me email which consists of all these charges once again saying i did not pay this amount.

                    Secondly, "in accordance of the agreement duly verified and acknowledged by you"- this acknowledgement was a result of the harassment that i was put through that late in the night (3 am) without any proper justification of the penalty being levied against my account.

                    Despite repeated denial of any damage been done to the car during the time it was under my usage, i was harassed for pre-existing issues with the car.

                    Hence, i request you to provide me any proof against the fact that i was not responsible for whatever usage is being referred to in excess of the already paid rental amount.
                    As per my knowledge, there was no damage done to the car. Henceforth, please do not harass customers this way.

                      I unlocked a cycle from kalpataru harmony, wakad, pune and used it for around 35-40 mins.
                      After locking the cycle at same location, when i am trying to end the trip, it is not ending. The request gets timed out everytime. I am still being charged for the trip. However i should only be charged 2 rs.

                        I tried using a pedl cycle nymber 102611 on january 07, 2018 from the element 5, pune cycle point. The cycle did not unlick but the trip started and continued for about more than 12 hours and the money continued to be deducted. I tried to cancel the trip multiple times but nothing happened. I tried finding a customer care number to talk but there are none. The issue needs to be resolved asap and money needs to be refunded.

                          Hi,

                          I booked a cycle: 100070 stationed at my office location: tcs gitanjali park, kolkata, west bengal & used it for around 15 - 20 minutes on[protected], but unable to end trip, because everytime i tried to end the trip it says to lock the cycle. I did lock the cycle perfectly and clicked the lock option in webpage. Still it says unable to end the trip, please lock the cycle (Screenshot attached).

                          The lock in the cycle malfunctioned.

                          Now the cycle didnt unlock even pressing unlock in the webpage and the trip do not get end.

                          Zoomcar is charging me still now. It deducted total amount of 44 rupees from my paytm wallet.
                          1 rupee, i am willing to pay for using the cycle for 30 min but for rest 43 rupees i want a refund and i also want this trip to end.

                          Kindly have look on issue and help resolving on priority.

                            Had a similar experience last week. I took a ford figo from bangalore - id - jps62k5ut. The person who delivered the vehicle was in such hurry that he himself completed the check list. He did not include the scratch on the front bumper and the another scratch (On the engine below the car - how am i supposed to take photo of this? From under the car?)

                            I am very sure i did not drive over any high ground or high speed breakers. This is extortion from zoom car.

                            They are charging 3000 for this.

                              On january 6, 2018, my spouse went to zoom care in the afternoon, to get treated for an injury to his right hand, of the third and fourth digits of his fingers. He was recommended to go to zoom care by his employer, that was at the oregon convention center working a trade show setup. When my spouse arrived at the grand avenue location, the intake person, asked if it was an on the job injury, my spouse said "yes", he was asked if he had other insurance, because if the workers' compensation claim gets denied, they wanted to know who they could bill the services to. When it became knowledge to zoom care, that my spouse was a medicare patient, he was not seen, and turned away. So there he is, bleeding, with cut and smashed fingers, and no person there cared about his injury, just about how they were going to get paid. I for one, say and believe this is not only disgusting, but should be illegal, for zoom care, not to accept medicare. Medicare is provided by our government, for people over 65. It should be required that any business doing medical care, or any doctors office has to accept medicare as payment. They should not get to choose. That is wrong, heartless and there should be an assessed fine, against the owner's business license, and a hefty fine at that. I called the customer service line to state my concern and complaint. I have not heard back from any person that works at zoom care. I will not go away, i demand an apology. I deserve an explanation, not an excuse. I think the policies and practices of this business need to be changed and they should have to accept medicare. I would not want to work at zoom care, and have to tell people, they could not been seen, if they had medicare, especially if they were is pain, needed stitches, and clearly needed medical attention. Now all the people that worked with my spouse at the oregon convention center, found out about this incident, and they are all talking about how awful this situation was, and should have not happened. My spouse should have been seen, and taken care of, and the staff there should have had compassion for his injury. I hope this changes how you run your business, and makes everyone there think, someday, they will have medicare, and would anyone that works at zoom care, want to be treated in this manner? Wake up zoom care, your business has the word "care" in it, and you chose not to care, how shameful and sad.

                                I unlocked the wrong pedl cycle by mistake and i'm not able to end my trip as it is not located near my location

                                I've given a complaint through email but that will take 24 hours to get back to me, and that's too late.
                                Please help me end my trip as the amount is getting added up for every half an hour. If possible please provide a phone number through which i can inform about the same

                                Sir I booked one bicycle on 1 Jan. But it didn't get unlocked. I was unable to use that bicycle but still I was charged Rs. 10 as there was no option to end the trip. Now I am also unable to book other bicycle through app. Please help

                                    Tried to unlock 102996. Did not unlock. Trip started anyways. Now it won't end. The request gets timeout every time i attempt to end the trip. To repeat, i did not even touch the cycle and got charged anyways. I have delinked my wallet from the app for now. I will take legal action if further inconvenienced. Please note that i have easy access to excellent lawyers.

                                      Yesterday i tried to go for a cycle ride. There was issue with cycle lock, didn't get unlocked. But ride started in app. I was not able to stop the ride but it was always giving timeout error. Even though zoomcar rent calculation is working very fine. It's been running since then. Cycle rent reached to rs59. Please do necessary steps. There is no customer service available. Now i can't even add money to paytm wallet.

                                        I have raised a complaint regarding my issue 3 times's on pedl's contact us page but didn't received any assistance even after 24 hours providing details. My paytm account is being charged continuously after complaining. This is rediculous on zoom car's behalf as no customer support is available and is causing unnecessary rucus.
