On one of our bookings with zoomcar, within a distance of less than one km, we realised there have been several serious issues with our rented car like unsafe brakes, punctured tyre and unclean seats. The issue was reported immediately to the company, yet the company made us wait 3 hours constantly making us reconnect with 5 different executives. They miscommunicated us to end our trip by their definition of dropping the car without locking it, which cost us a loss of cancelling our planned trip along with 3 hours waiting time on the same location. Though they promised a refund after an inspection, yet they said it would take typically a duration of 7 working days. Now after exactly 7 days, I recalled them and they said the refund request has been rejected by the team. And no other request has been made. I feel helpless and cheated as I lost 7500/- ruppees without any fault of mine. This was really unexpected treatment from a company like zoomcar. I can just plead for justice on my side.

    Dear Zoomcar team,

    It is so sad and only reason why we started booking from revv car. But this time due to unavailability of vehicle on our dates on revv. I was forced to book zoomcar. Past experiences were not that bad. But this time it was terrible. Right from picking up car to end the trip.
    I picked up a car exactly at 5.58 am. There were few papers lying around in glove box. I considered it as documents and went ahead to pick up my family and luggage. I thought i should check documents and started checking papers. They were some hotel booking waste papers, also some chocolate wrapper were lying over the glove box and some at the bottle holder. Rear passenger side car was stinking and some more chocolate wrappers were left behind.

    So thought of calling helpline to get this rectified but to surprise call was not picked up till 6.45. my first call answered exactly after 0.5 hrs. Executive connected me to the host. He said he will send me papers over the whatsapp. He send me wrong one. Also he didnt realise it and me too. He send me the right one next day afternoon. But still puc were missing. Still managed and took a risk.

    After complete around 90 kms, there was sign on dashboard which was engine malfunction or warning related to it...then after few more kilometers, there was a sign of TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM adjacent to engine malfunction warning sign. Because of which there was no pick up or dropped down and we had pulled our car.

    I contacted breakdown assistance on helpline number and notified them about such problem. We were worried because we were in middle of such place where help was not really or quickly be possible.

    First executive told us to wait for half and hour and breakdown team will call, but there was no call till next 45 mins, another promise time was 15 mins, but still no one showed up..third time was to wait for 10 mins...still no call. So i thought to drive slowly and show it to nearest local mechanic who can at least understand what is the problem whether it is major or minor. I received call exactly after 2 hrs and 05 mins. It was Mr. Saurabh who called me and make understand that it can be fixed by showing it to local workshop and expenses can be reimbursed by zoomcar later and upto rs. 5000.

    I was said to drive slowly and take it to workshop to get it fixed as we were denied for replacement of another car. Option was either to declare a complete breakdown of vehicle and it will be towed and we have to arrange our pick up or source need to be managed by our own or just to drive slowly and take it to workshop. I was scared, wasted almost 2 hrs, was with family, it was raining heavily, planning was for another 4.5 day. Stuck with so many thoughts and felt really helpless.

    Assured by Saurabh we went to workshop and got it fixed and billed for Rs. 1875. I have uploaded bill related to this.

    Concern still stays because whenever we wanted to use air condition of the car it was sometimes working sometimes it wasnt. I believe there was cooling issue with the car. Majorly while going climate was pleasant and we didnt use much of the ac in the car. But while coming back on 28th july. Whole day it was sunny and around 30° temp, where we wanted to use ac, but it just kept troubling a lot.

    This vehicle had given lot of trouble and we were just not happy with it. Entire family was like kept praying to make us reach safely.

    I dont know why such type of car in existence with zoomcar. Where car documents were missing, front boot opening issue, rear boot also doesnt stay on it own. There are so many problem in this car. Host is suppose to either fix all problem and then to share car on zoomcar platform. Im sure this is not been taken care by both zoomcar and host of the car.

    Zoomcar is putting life in danger of innocent people.

    This is surely need to be addressed by higher authorities of zoomcar and not to allow such type of car to stay in zoomcar platform. Just for few earning, this is seriously dangerous. Thats the whole point where revv car is much better and safe. Where they provide home delivered car with all safety checks done by themselves and on completion of trip they have pick up service too. It was my bad that on my required dates car wasnt available and i had to comeback to zoomcar. There are no standards been maintained while giving car to use. Also, least bothered helpline numbers, where they answer a call after a long hold and you dont receive a perfect solution to it.

    Im attaching all my fuel bills because when i refueled it. I left a excess of petrol in the car. Please evaluate the kms done with all the bills.

    Another thing is again im attaching the repair bill and payment done status as a ready reference.

    I have received a ticket raised 1090000 on the above sent email to zoomcar. it is 24 hrs now, but no reply.

      again If your team has gone through the situation the renter had taken vehicle drove more than 300 - 400 km after which due to no fuel and trying to start the vehicle again & again there was same issue even he had called local mechanic & given torc to vehicle and due to over load the fuel pump has been damaged.

      I understand that Fuel pump is a mechanical part which has failed, due to renter negligence due to no fuel & petrol pump was damaged, this work needs to be done by the host, Now when looking towards the scenario when the same has been damaged by renter why should I bear the cost of the same as it has failed due to renter negligence ?

      Thanks other windshield and cleaning work will be refunded, get me approval and directly paid to zoom car service station directly

      The vehicle was not been delivered to my place even after the trip ended. It was towed by ZOOM team where in the front door glass was broken by the towing team as they were not able to unlock the vehicle through the system without intimating me, for which multiple times I had raised complaints for which ZOOM Team had not at all taken care.

      To add all the above said activities were carried on without my concern which was a big issue on renter & ZOOM Team.

      Hope for positive revert ASAP, So again I would like the Zoom team / renter to pay the charges rather than later reimbursing me.

        Hi Team,
        I made a booking recently on Zoomcar and paid the full amount. After that it has asked me to do profile verification which I did by uploading my Driving License, Aadhar Card and self however it got rejected. The license has address of my hometown Chandrapur, Maharashtra. It approved and provided by Maharashtra government and it’s valid till year 2030. Everything is good still Zoomcar has rejected and blacklisted it saying we can’t provide the car to the people from this address due to security issues.
        I made a booking around 10 days before the journey date and they are giving this reason now just a day before journey starts.
        This is pure mental torture at this moment and they have not even provided any refund.
        I would like to request the forum to look into it.

          My car got damaged after serving a booking on 18th April 2022. Car was looking damaged from downside the engine and battery was completely drained out after serving the booking. Hence i had to push the car insidemy parking and keep there.. I raised a ticket on 19th April ( Ticket no 806120) regarding car repair, got a call back and I requested to repair car once I come back from hometown..
          I came back on 30 April and called customer care and requested to get car repaired.. they asked to raise ticket once again. I raised it on 1st May 2022, but since then no one considered my request despite of repeated calls. I called almost 100 times, raised lot of tickets every time as advised by customer care..

          Lastly, my car was inspected on 19th June 2022.. Almost 50 days after raising the ticket..
          They took my car and said nothing happened, battery issue is there.. they took 50 days time to inspect my car and now saying only battery issue.. took money from me to replace the battery.. they dropped the car in my parking..

          A day after I got a call from an executive Mr Neeraj Kumar TI, Rajouri Garden, that my car is having serious maintenance issues like alternater damage and some other things and said it will cost more than 10, 000 but the person calling didn't know the car was returned to me 1 day before.. I said him why didn't u repair it when it was with you and said only battery issue is there.. then that person said, leave it sir, use the car as it is..

          Next day I went to start the car but it was not starting and new battery is also drainedcompletely.. again I called customer care, they said raise the ticket and I raised ticket as Not satisfied with the repair quality..

          Since then, am waiting for my car to get repaired..

          Long long wait.. since 1st May 2022 till today 28th July 2022... its 90 days today my car is not in working condition.. its all because o[censored]nnecessary delay and purposefully done by zoomcar executive..

          I strongly demand a compensation for these 90 days.. I want my car repaired back in good condition.. I also said, if any maintenance issue is there, am going to pay as per the policies.. but I want my car fully repaired..

          And I demand hrly basis remuneration for last 90 days, as I was unable to use my car for personal use and also for rental purpose just because o[censored]nnecessary delay from zoomcar team..

              Hi Team, My car was listed on Zoom car platform and during the period of 30th May to 5th June i have offline my car from zoom. I have recharged my fasttag and the amount got deducted from my fasttag. But in the invoice of 30th May to 5th June. The zoom car charged the penalty on me of Rs2170. And i have shared all the necessary proofs but they are not giving my money Rs2170. And i have raised a complaint for that also but no resolution provided till yet. And that complaint also 40days old now. The complaint no - 1029339. Zoom car not providing the resolution and also when I called to the zoom customer care they are also not able to provide me the resolution. They are just saying wait for 24-48hrs. And for last 40days that 24+48hrs are not getting over. Even they are not providing the escalation email id and neither the address and nor arrange the call back from the senior or respective team. Even i have escalated on the Twitter but even on that i m not getting the resolution.

                My Name is Abhishek Jaiswal phn num am a hist of zoomcar i hav 12 cars in Company bt if i would nt get my solution aftr ths mail am surely going to remove my all 12 cars bcz due to company's nt taking action on my complaints lyk my one car registered with 8... num is been done a crime by customer nd my car is in police station nd whn am calling to company thy r saying we hav mail to higher authorities to appoint a lawyer fr the case bt thy didn't appointed frm 1 week nd one car registered with 8... the company has dedicated wrong fuel charges so i hav raised a ticked 5 weeks ago thy hav mailed me thy wll refund in next invoice bt it's more thn 5 weeks if i would call customer care thy r jst saying ur concern is with financial team in this week's invoice ull received ur fuel refund bt company is jst earning money frm the host nd the customers bt nt taking any responsibility nd many more issues i[censored] could cal me as soon as u see my mail cal me on my num 8.m ill tlll u my complete complaint nd if i would nt get my resolution asap am surely going to remove my 12 vehicles frm the company nd am going to do case on the company tht terms nd conditions are only fr host nd customer if Company has done a mistake the terms nd conditions r nt applicable on the company this is how the zoomcar earning money am surely going to do complaint against alll the executives who hav tried to make me fool nd tried to take my money nd surely going to do complaint against zoomcar in consumer court tht if the company dsnt follow the terms nd conditions the.                   I had booked Ertiga car with pickup and drop location at Borivali West which was around 500 metres from my house with booking ID - JPSN7YYQ9. However, on receiving final confirmation and exact location of car on the day of trip, it showed us Triber Car at Thane location pickup and drop.

                  We were extremely shocked and upset since this resulted us in additional cost for travelling to Thane pickup location which is approx 50 kms away. This increased our travel time by 2 hours due to detour - additional cost for travelling and petrol since our travel distance increased.

                  Also, we had booked Ertiga since we were a group of 7 people with luggage. We were shocked at no boot space in Triber where we managed only 1 handbag. Experience was highly uncomfortable since there was no petrol at the start of trip, car was not clean, no boot space, and Fasttag was not working.

                  I had called up your live assistance number on 09th July as well as on 10th July post completing trip and they assured me full refund of car booking fees and 50% refund of Toll payments.

                  I have been continuously following up for same but refund for cab charges have not been refunded.

                    This is in regards to my car booking no - JPSN7WK6L (15th-17th June 2022). After raising repeat queries and taking follow-ups with Zoomcar, I don't have any clear answer as to why my refunds are not being processed and there is no answer/call from your side.
                    The issues are -
                    1. The fastag was not loaded with money due to which I had to pay double the toll. As discussed with one of their agents, I was to get the extra amount back but not received it till now. I have attached toll receipts where I paid double the amount.
                    2. The car tires were in very very bad shape as told to us by a mechanic and broke down 2 times. We were told that the owner had done a temporary arrangement for the tyres due to which they got busted. Again as discussed with one of their agents, I was told I'll get the extra amount back but not received it till now. I have attached the receipt of the garage where we changed the tyres.

                    Total refund amount to be processed = Rs 8050
                    I have attached toll receipts, garage receipt, garage person's visiting card and a few more photos/videos depicting tires in bad shape and the new tyres that were put in.

                        We had recently rented a car with Zoomcar. Reservation number - Booking: JPSN71RVE June 20, 2022 through June 26, 2022.

                        When we picked up the car on June 20, 2022, immediately after about 1 hour, the car experienced issues with the EPS system, and the EPS light went on. What this means is that the car that you had issued to us, was already not in good condition and EPS issues mean that the car is undriveable.

                        Below is the series of discussions and frustration points based on the overall experience with Zoomcar support and the car that was assigned to us.

                        Frustration Points:
                        We were provided a car that was not safe to drive with the EPS issue. Upon showing the car to a local garage- they said that the entire EPS fuse plug was damaged / messed up and needed to be replaced. The total cost of replacing is INR 7, 560 (attached is the receipt from the car garage).
                        Our entire journey was delayed by about 3-4 hours - which caused a lot of issues in our future reservations and plans
                        We were stranded in a random part of the city waiting for the car to be serviced.
                        The emergency line (key entry #2) on Zoomcar support took a long time to respond. We were told multiple times that there would be a resolution within 30 mins, and that Zoomcar would find a replacement car for us, or send a team for support or give us a call back. NONE OF THESE HAPPENED for about 3-4 hours, which basically meant that your team left us to take a call all by ourselves. Every time we called your support line, we had to go through the same options of providing email address, verify identity, give email address, wait for the support agent, and then no resolution. It was nearing closing time for all garages, so basically, it meant that we needed to take a call by ourselves, or be stranded in a random place and cancel all our future reservations/plans which amount to a lot more than the car we had reserved for.
                        The aircon of the car was unserviceable and blew only hot air.

                        What we did:
                        Consulted with the local garage (note that it was the only one open at the time that could help with our request). All other garages were closed, and the car was undriveable.
                        Begged for them to service our car, and help us with our onward journey since Zoomcar was of no help.
                        Replaced the fuse (see attached picture of the work in progress).
                        Contacted zoomcar support for the expense and were informed that we will be reimbursed for the expense.
                        Replaced the required fuse, tested the car with their expert team, and then started our onward journey after a confirmation that the car is now safe to drive.
                        The receipt for the service is attached, as well as kept in the car for reference.

                        Expectations/request from your team -
                        Reimburse for the entire expense that we incurred for the car servicing.
                        Reimburse for the time lost
                        Reimburse / provide financial support for the mental, physical stress during this time when Zoomcar was unable to assist
                        Reimburse certain amount for current rental / provide direct discount for future rentals
                        We hope this gets escalated to the right contact in your team, and we are able to reach a resolution and receive the above requests timely without any further issues to us.

                        Something as simple as a quick replacement would have been the right resolution from your team, but unfortunately that was not the case. Also, please ensure all your vehicles go through a better engine check so you do not endanger the lives of those relying on zoomcar for a car rental in cities that are new for them.

                        As of 22 Jul 2022 zoomcar has denied any refund and have stopped responding to emails

                          I booked a car through the company's mobile application. I had made an initial payment of Rs. 1258/- as initial rental charges for the aforementioned booking for car bearing registration number Maruti Baleno KA01MR3739. To extend my Booking, I paid 3090/- more and was supposed to return the car by 6th July 9.30 PM.

                          At 3.00 AM 6th July, on the way from Bangalore to Coorg, the car had a breakdown and we were stuck amidst a dark dense forest. There were 4 females in the car and there was absolutely no assistance from the Zoom Car customer care whatsoever. I was repeatedly asked to contact Justdial for nearby towing service and on being told to wait for 30 minutes, no one ever called back. However, by 5.30 I was able to arrange a towing crane all by myself, for which I was told that the amount would be completely refunded.

                          It has been 15 days now, on calling the customer service numbers, we are told that they will be back with an update in 24 hours. No action has been taken and is not tolerable anymore.

                          In accordance with the agreement duly verified and acknowledged by me and the company, and the Terms and Conditions of the company, the company is liable to and refund the following:

                          Initial booking amount- 1258
                          Continued booking amount- 3090
                          Petrol cost - 2000
                          Return Bus ticket cost(Karnataka bus services) - 2620
                          Toll charges - 760
                          Towing charges - 3000

                          I am fed up with the customer service of this company. Please someone help me get my refund

                              Dear sir,
                              It's with great amount of dissatisfaction, am registering a complaint against my booking ID JPSN7SQ7K from Delhi T1 airport for a Tata safari storme under registration DL10CG1495. The car was in dangerous condition and had a major breakdown enroute my journey to jaipur wherein the right rear wheel had bursted on motion. The spare tyre provided was also unusable as it had multiple punctures. Also, there was no tools provided to attend to any Tyre replacement in the event of a breakdown. It's very saddening to notice a company of your stature has allotted a car in such terrible condition jeopardising the passenger safety. I seriously urge you to immediately terminate allotment of the car to any other passengers in the future. Also, the incident had severely hampered my plan and caused me mental trauma. I request you to refund my entire booking amount as a compensation. Also, the support team upon intimating the complaint on phone were so irresponsible and didn't react to my complaint promptly. I humbly request you to process the refund and see to it such issues are not repeated in future.

                                The above mentioned refunds have not been processed and transferred into my bank account by zoom car as of 21 Jul 2022. This despite repeatedly calling up the customer care and getting confirmation that the refund amount is due and had been missed.
                                Kindly have speedy transfer of the refund amount done.

                                  Hi,
                                  I had booked a Maruti Celerio on 16th July 2022 at 12:30 pm to 10:30 pm from Kopar-Khairane, Navi Mumbai.
                                  Firstly, I didn't find the car on it marked location and wasted 1.5 hour of booking time to find the car.
                                  I returned the car at 11pm the same day and booking was successfully completed.
                                  Later Zoomcar has levied a fine of 10000 on me even when I have returned the car to owner in received condition with refueling the fuel as it is.
                                  Zoomcar customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

                                    ON 2nd May 2022, Major accident to my car caused by Zoomcar Customer, and now its over 2 & half month but not compensated by Zoomcar.
                                    Still i am following regular basis, but replied from zoomcar mechanic that not approval form management side, while that was mojor accident as Right side Bonut Body, head light & major damages to engine.

                                      I was booking a honda city car for 29th july 2022 in bangalore. the car was available to book also made the final payment of 6, 645 rs, even after the payment was done and amount is debited the booking was not confirmed from zoomcar and at the end error message was displayed. tried contacting zoomcar customer care for refund but not able to contact them regarding the same as the booking was not confirmed.
                                      i am expecting the refund from zoomcar.

                                        I rented my car on zoom car a few months before everything went fine. on Saturday 9 July I got a booking for 2 days till Monday 11 July at 1.30 Pm. The car was not returned till 5 Pm so I informed them about still I have not received the car and it has been a week still I have not received the car.
                                        Car Details Honda WRV RJ22 CB5016
                                        I just need my car back.
                                        I tried to file the FIR in the Police station but they said you rented your car you are earning and the company is earning why we should search for your car now i went 3-4 times but no proper support was provided by them.
