I have been trying to book cars and have been facing the same error of a blacklisted account for over a year now. I have completed multiple trips via the app yet there is absolutely zero interest from customer care to resolve the issue. I have sent mails and also raised help support, but no responses from the company.

Going by the available complaints in here, it seems as if this is a pretty common issue and the company is messing up blacklisting accounts when users mistakenly mix up email ids while logging in (we all have primary and secondary email addresses for ease o[censored]se and specific purposes). What I am concerned about is that the company is supposed to be customer centric, yet after so many individual attempts to set this right, I have been unable to receive any support from them.

      I booked a car for 18th March 2022. I was a new customer and my documents were not verified due to which, I was unable to access the car. My booking was confirmed and the money was deducted. Till now, only my security money has been refunded, not the full amount. The customer care told me that it was a technical glitch and will be resolved. The customer care told me that my money will be refunded before 4th April and yet, I don't see any refund. I am unable to contact the customer care and I don't know what to do.

        Trip date : 17th April 2022
        The service was pathetic, the car has no mileage, not good pickup, the Car shown in the App while booking and the car which I received were totally different. While booking it was stated car has drive just for 5000 km, and when I received it had 10, 000 + Km used. Not sure if i have received the same car.
        Secondly the car was not clean, nor car pickup was good. Maybe it was not getting properly serviced. Car Number - Renault Kiger - MH12 TK1761

        Refunds :

        - Fasttag i have paid total 100 rs, with a panelty Rs. 50

        Fuel Refund
        - Petrol at start of trip was 25-30% (2 points)
        - Petrol at End of trip was 65-70% (4 Points)

        Car had total of 6 points. so aprox 1 point = 16.67
        The Petrol change was around - 120 per liter

        Its almost 8 days still these guys are not even concerned to respond.

          Hi,
          This is regarding my booking ID - JPS6924LW dated 5th March from Goa,
          On the eve of 14th March I received a call from zoomcar representative ( ph- no [protected] ) stating that the car I have booked is not available and asked me to cancel the booking stating that I will be refunded the full amount and no cancellation charge will be deducted ( unfortunately I dont have a call recording of that number ), now more than 2 months have passed and I am yet waiting for my cancellation charge refund which was deducted from my booking amount.
          Customer care is clueless and giving the same response since last 30 days that I will get a call in next 4 hours but all in vain.
          Today I called customer care again and he said that since I have initiated the cancel from my end I wont get refund . It looks like the zoomcar representive who called me and asked me to cancel my booking has scammed me.
          Kindly please look into this issue so that no one else scammed by Zoomcar in future

            I have booked the car for 2days from 16th to 18th april and the Zoomcar had gave me the one of the worst car in there bucket. so since i had to travel for 300 kms and i was requested for a Fastag since the given car was not having the fastag i had called up them and informed them same and once of his agent said will refund the money what ever you paid extra and i have agreed. and the car was too old and the front wheeling alignment was not upto the mark. and the 2nd day the front wheel go blasted in middle of the forest this is due to the wheeling and baring issue in the front wheel. i have called them again informing the same and they said get it repaired will refund the money and since its like i have called them 20 times no update regarding the refund everytime im getting same old answer stating escalated and u will get the update in 4 hours since 6 days.

              First issue - My license got rejected due to being registered from a blacklisted territory. My license is registered in Dwarka, New Delhi. I don't know how or why you have blacklisted a prime residential region in the capital of the country where nearly 100, 000 + license are registered, but this practice just shows a lack of interest on your side to provide alternatives to people who want to join your customer base but cannot due to your so-called " internal policies". Why does the government give us licenses then? If you are such an authority to declare licenses invalid because of their region, and actual driver behaviour doesn't matter, I'm sure the government should use your data and just shut down their RTOs. I was told to add someone pre-registered with Zoom as a co-driver. So why should I even bother to be your customer? I should just ask other people to lend me their ids so that I can use your service, there is no benefit for me as an individual.

              Second issue - My ride got cancelled due to lack of verification, but since I had opted for car dropoff/pickup the car was delivered to me 1 hour before the ride began, which is really good and I was impressed. But since my ride got cancelled, there should have been a pickup on time as well. Instead I waited for my entire ride duration (11:30am - 8:30pm), and when I called the customer support at 9:15pm they say that they will verify within 4 hours. Really? . It takes 11 hours for you to arrange a car pickup? And when I tell them it is not possible for me to wait that long the customer service person tells me to call up the dropoff driver and ask him. So now I am doing the work of your backend team? Am I working for Zoom now? And what of the poor guy's car which is stuck waiting in my parking? Now I keep getting reminders for having exceeded my trip and have not returned my car. So despite having opted for pickup/ dropoff, apparently I really am working for Zoom if you expect me to incur any charges for this delay.

              This poor customer service was once experienced by me beforehand when my friend could not find the parking lot and the customer care refused to provide any legitimate help whatsoever until after 2 hours later when we pressurized to provide for the host's contact to ask them directly of the location. But I shrugged it off thinking it was a one time issue and still registered with Zoom hoping that you wouldn't disappoint now. But apparently you are worse in customer support and relations than any other company I know. Congratulations. I obviously will never use Zoom again, nor will the people who have their DLs registered in your "blacklisted territories" because they need to have a babysitter with them apparently.

              Please make your executives read this. Maybe they will think about their customer outreach more, maybe not. I honestly do not believe at this point that they are competent enough.

              Update : It has been 3 days since. Thankfully the driver came to pick the car up at 4 am in the morning so that's good. But the app still shows my ride as ongoing and I have not been refunded my paid amount. I call up the customer care every day and they lodge a new complaint every time, saying I will get a response in 4 hours. But I have not gotten any message back from the company yet. Maybe 4 hours means different to you guys than it does to the rest of the world.

                First of all, how can Zoomcar India rent an unverified car to me which was privately owned instead of a commercial number plate? Authorities should start a crackdown on Zoomcar as they are illegally renting private vehicles to another person. Law clearly says that a commercial number plate is mandatory to use a car for this.

                To begin with a horrible experience, first, they canceled my booking since the car could not arrive (order ID- JPS692Y8H). Since I already had a planned trip, I booked again in hurry and got a TIAGO car with registration number DL1CV4952 and order ID JPS692VY5. Forget about sanitization, this car was not even cleaned properly with cloth. It was covered by heavy dust and its interiors were filled with dirt. Was already getting late by two hours, hence taken that and did a basic cleaning myself. Fuel reading showed that the car had very little fuel left, hence I did a full tank refill as the journey was long. After reaching the highway, I was chased and stopped after Murthal near a toll plaza by loan recovery agents who work for a bank. They explained that EMIs were not paid for 10-12 months hence they'll take the vehicle. We were stranded on a highway with my wife and a small kid. Their call center support is absolutely pathetic. After waiting for 15-20 minutes each time to connect, they just said they can't do much and arrange a callback. Call back never happened. After wasting more than two hours, we were left with no option but to arrange a taxi from nearby town thanks to Google. After more than three hours we could leave from there and had to pay the taxi guy triple the cost of self-driving car. Zoomcar later refunded the amount of the trip but they never paid my fuel cost and tolls cost which is exactly 3836. I have sent all the bills to [protected]@zoomcar.com but these frauds never responded. I demand 20, 000 from Zoomcar for the mental harassment and physical torture they incurred upon me during that trip.

                    Hi Zoomcar Team

                    Refund my Booking amount as I am too frustrated with your service.

                    I booked the car on 17th March'21 at 9 Pm IST which had to be picked up at 10 Pm IST but your document verification makes 12 Pm but the parking closes at 11:30 Pm.

                    I had visited the parking 3 times but after successful verfication of the documents, it shows a new glitch for unlocking a car which can't be unlocked and shows me an error of TRY AGAIN.

                    I tried to call you many times at the pick up time, Your support department is too bad to response.

                    My whole plan is spoiled, I don't want any excuse just refund my money of ₹2858 and remove your app until your Customer support becomes responsive properly.

                        How long you need to refund the money Rs.4, 285.00 related to booking id: JPS69NPAU
                        In app it's mentioned like you will settle refunds in 30 working days, but it's near to 2 months.whenever iam calling your CUSTOMER service iam getting some fake response like iam going to recieve money in 5days, and next time got a response like with in 6hrs, another time with in 24hrs ..
                        Are u making fun or fooling me.with in 24 hrs I need my money back .
                        There is another booking id JPSN7CXI6
                        for which u charged some extra amount of Rs. 595 for low fuel.
                        For your information returned the vehicle exactly with same fuel please recheck with owner of the vehicle.Because of this zest vehicle which don't have a pollution certificate for which I got charged Rs.1000
                        And that ### traffic police in BELLARY(KARNATAKA) Gave a challan for 500 and placed another Rs.500 directly into his pocket.
                        I have mailed all those challan and my bank details to [protected]@zoomcar.com
                        If you don't want to refund just reply the same in mail let's go as per legal proceedings as a proof I have voice recordings that I have spoken with ur CUSTOMER service.
                        From last 20days iam unable to CONTACT CUSTOMER care ..
                        Are you doing car rental business or else doing finance business just by delaying payments to CUSTOMERs like me.

                            Due to zoomcar device fitment my car has auto start problem and requested for termination upon the suggestion of authorised service center people that battery will get effected. By customer care people disconnecting call in between no proper update has been provided yet. I am moving my car to my native and these people not responding for disconnecting their devices in my car.

                              2. at the end moment when i need to end my trip 4 hours early for my booking time, app has not worked properly and it was lagging and i was hampered one hour to be wait by customer executive as they were not picking up my phone as well.
                              3. As i was a first time user, there was no initial training program or such information has been given to me, so that i was not refueling my booked car to the fullestalmost 1500 rupees fuel left on that car(its a tentative idea)
                              4. And i was reached at host, s place at 11 am, and my booking has been end at 12 pm by zoomcar, and no refund has been given to me and i have refuelled my booked car and still there is no refund

                                Worst company in my experience. Booked a car a month ago, car never turned up. Despite 5 calls to customer care, every time I was told someone will call and arrange for a car. Feeling so annoyed, my vacation plans were ruined. How can they say unavailable at the last minute, with absolutely no reason and keep lying they have an alternate car?

                                When I asked for compensation, they said 500rs. Is that for buying peanuts? What a bunch of losers!

                                  This is in reference to the levying of damage charges of amount Rs. 1499. I have asked them why the charges were levied. But they haven't provided any explanation to that. This issue has been highlighted to Zoom car vide email, customer care calls etc. multiple times. However, nothing has happened.

                                  There were already damages on the car while taking the delivery.TThe scratches on door sides and damages on front & rear bumper along with multiple scratches on the side view mirror were highlighted in the app itself while taking the delivery of the car. he car was returned in the same condition as received. The photos were also taken and sent to them. However, they are still not refunding my money. Pl help

                                    Booked a car for 2 days a month ago. Was told at the last minute, car is not available. Called customer care and all I get back is a sorry. What the hell? I came all the way from UK to take my parents around and now all thanks to Zoomcar, my plans are ruined. We are basically stuck in the resort. So unprofessional PPL, truly unbelievable

                                      I start long trip with Baleno car but it's not maintained properly which run more than one lakh kilometre the car goes right side on 5 yellow small bump on NH road while turning .
                                      I travel with my family but you doing business just like that .i scared while driving the car
                                      Hereafter when I receive this type of car in my hand I will give complaint to brake inspector & surrender the car to them to inspect it which is not safety to passenger
