Hi Team,
I made a booking from April 13-19, at the time of delivery of car to us, someone from the zoom delivery team stated that the car which we are supposed to pick, i.e., Tata Tiago has some mechanical error and we'll be provided with a Swift Dzire, we said okay and at the time of delivery, they didn't do as said and gave us the same faulty car, i.e., Tata Tiago, we asked about the fault and they said that there's no fault, take this car, the car went in an immobilised mode at around 12 in the night.
Since then we have been trying to reach out and all the team has told us, is to wait for a call back, they don't even want to stay on the call with us.
Zoomcar customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

    I went for a trip for bengaluru. And i booked a zoom car and i paind the money but then i brought the pick up address of the car as i went to that address i could nt find any car i tried calling the owner i couldn't get any response so i lost money in that

      Booking for Trip ID: JPSN7C81P was cancelled after completion of the trip. No details were provided thereof. Also not refund was provided for 'Doorstep service' which was charged but not provided by Zoomcar.

      Below are the facts of the case:

      - Trip ID: JPSN7C81P Was booked from 09:00 PM on[protected] up to 10:00 PM on[protected]. The vehicle was Mahindra XUV 5OO (MH01BY4232).
      - I had also availed a doorstep service paying additional fee.
      - On[protected], the car was not delivered on the allotted time.
      - I tried to reach out to the Zoomcar call center, However, the call was put on hold for endless time every time. Once, when the call was answered by the executive, I was again put on hold before the call being disconnected by the executive.
      - I also tried to reach out to the number provided over SMS ([protected]). However, this number was continuously busy. After a lot of attempts, I was able to get in touch and it was way past the delivery time. This person pleaded about non availability of delivery persons and asked me to pick up the car from the specified location.
      - I had to make my own arrangements to travel to the location to pickup the car, in spite of having paid a fee for doorstep service.
      - At the location, neither the above person nor the host was available for providing assistance.
      - The car was parked on the street and was covered in dust. The car was also not unlocked and another numerous rounds of calls followed to the above mentioned number.
      - He somehow managed to unlock the car. I was able to pick up the car only by 11:00 PM on[protected].
      - I also had to clean the car at my own expense.
      - On returning from the trip, I again contacted ([protected]) to inform about trip completion and for picking up the car.
      - The person seemed surprised and asked questions like which booking?, which car? What was the pick up time?. I told him the car is available for pick up and he should send someone for the same.
      - He again mentioned unavailability of personnel and informed that the pick up would be delayed.
      - The pick up was also delayed. The car was finally picked up at around 02:00 AM on[protected].
      - All this time, the booking was shown as ‘upcoming’ until it was ‘cancelled’ on[protected]. How can the booking be cancelled after trip completion?

      I therefore, seek

      1. Refund the ‘doorstep service’ fee, which was collected upfront.
      2. Refund of the cleaning expenses borne by me.
      3. Compensation for the mental harassment before and after the trip failing which I shall take up the matter with the appropriate consumer forum.

        @ZoomCarIndia sir I got engine damage after 2nd April 2022 booking. After making many follow up car was picked up for repair on 8th April 2022 and app show revert back car on dated 10th morning. But car nor recieved back to me and not shown in down time.. I called up many time for the status but no one respond me. And no replacement provided for my personal use. Where is my car ???? When got repaired ? When I got replacement recieve of my car ????

          We picked our zoomcar at scheduled time and after running for 40kms our car brokedown and even after several calls at consumer centre there was no help from zoomcar. We are literally been harassed by zoomcar executives with no hope of assistance

            @Zoomcar . I have many bad experiences with your organization in the past but this one is the worst that I had and will never forget in my life . I have never seen such unethical and irresponsible organization and I think there’s no such organization exist which is worse than you . I had a booking made at 10:34 A.M on 14-4-22 for 4:30 P.M on[protected] for a Suzuki Waganor and as the car is unlocked 40 minutes prior to the booking I have been in the exact location of the car since 3:30p.m and the car was not at the location and after 30 minutes of long search I have called your customer care who asked me to go a different location which is 4.9kms away from the actual location shown in the zoom car mobile application. After reaching the 2nd location which is shared by your executive though a official SMS channel the car was still not found and after 20 minutes I have contacted your customer care again and I was provided with your car partners number who was always not aware about the car whereabouts and asked me to contact zoom car support . I was disconnected 3 times by now when I got the information to again visit the initial location and once again the car was not found . It was already past 4:30 which is my booking time and when I contacted Zoomcar after being on 20 minutes of hold they informed me to wait for 15 minutes for a new car which S-cross and asked me to again go to a new location which 9.7km from the initial location and after 30 minutes no update and I again called the customer support and this time it was 5:35 and again I was informed that I will be assigned a new car which Grand i10 and to wait for 20 minutes more by this time it was 6:15p.m and no update yet .
            I have been waiting on the road since 3.30p.m till 6:45 with the family which includes a child with a medical condition for which we have a booked a Zoomcar for his doctor’s appointment initially.
            It’s 9:50p.m Now and still I haven’t received any update from Zoomcar about any car, refund, cancellation or a callback with support . Such a heart -breaking incident and I have so much frustration and anger in me about this whole situation . Zoomcar is irresponsible in his standard operating procedures and your customer support is reckless who only to disconnect the call when they doesn’t have any answer. Is it even okay to disconnect a customer’s call ? I have spoken so patiently and politely with all your agents even though there was so much anger in me as I know if I start shouting then again my call will be disconnected and there is no point in it, hence to get my work done I have spoken professionally but still the calls were disconnected by all of your agents (Namely: Ankit Tomar, Saurav, Sachin, Kunal and few other girls . ) I have made a total of 23 calls till now and all the calls were disconnected by zoom car customer support as they do not have any mean to help and asked me to go to 4 different locations with 4 maps .
            We will be filing a Legal case in the Court of Law by 4/ 17 with my attorney’s in our Law firm and request Zoomcar to kindly respond on this unethical irresponsible behavior where they have frauded customer by not fulfilling the promise of providing product & Service for which we have paid . Our law firm will make sure that you are dragged out and realize what the organization is doing how Zoomcar is troubling the customers in the name of rental car services . It takes 5 seconds to debit the money from the customers account and 15 days for the refund? Ridiculous ! . We’ll make sure we have been justified for the pain, agony, suffering and time and money which was lost because of your Non-sense which was created on[protected] . All the supporting documents are attached for your reference with time and date in the Notice and the mail as well . RSVP in the next 24-48 ours otherwise the matter will be escalated to other social media platforms .

              I booked zoom car in hyderabad on 1st of April 2022 with booking id JPSN7I8EM. While the car is offered the fuel indication is (2 bars). As mentioned in the application if there is any additional fuel left out while dropping the car that will be refunded. While i dropped off the car (4 bars) was the fuel meter indication. Regarding this fuel refund i called up the customer care several times and each time i was told by CC executives that with in 24 hours your refund will be initiated. At times they keep me on hold for several minutes to check and they disconnect the call. Till today i didnt received the refund amount.

                Driving License Verification Related

                Hi, i have installed zoomcar few days ago and when i was about to book a car through it. it needs to verify your identity and driving lisence So, i uploaded my driving lisence but when it has not been verified till 7 days ago after i uploaded. so i spoke to the customer care and they told me that they have some restricted areas of which they cannot accept driving lisence as my lisence has RTO DL9, they told me that due to security reasons...

                Had a very horrible experience... First the car doesn't come, second, call centers make u wait for like 10 min and then disconnect the call while on hold... They don't call back... Since the car didn't come, had to cancel...
                Now when I try to reach the call center, no booking ID... Writing mails to them but no response...
                Awaiting for refund... No means to communicate with zoom car...

                  I have just received 2000 and i have been informed that I will receive in next invoice and this week also I have not received the remaining 2000

                    I booked car on zoomcar a month ago, but the owner of the car denied to give the car, and the zoomcar customer care person told me to give compensation along with full refund. But I didn't get the refund till now, it's been a month and they are also charging me some fee

                      Refund of INR 2, 000 pending since one month. Further, we have been harassed by Zoom car India as they kept us waiting for more than 4 hours at Chennai Airport on 05 March 2022. They kept on making false promises for 4 hours stating that the car is reaching you in next 30 minutes and so. They also changed our car despite booking the car one month in advance.

                        I am unable to talk to anyone from zoomcar aboutmy refund. Their customer care has automated menu options but I cannot talk to any support as I don't have any booking.

                        I have written numerous mails but without any response from. This is going to be my last polite request after which I am bound to take serious actions.

                            We booked a car at midnight and when we went to the location we couldn't find the car, we tried to call the zoomcar but no one answered. We searched for the car for more than an hour but couldn't find the car. We booked car for 3300 and they gave us a refund of only 224rs

                              March 5th 2022, picked up the car from the location, the car drove for a kilometer and stopped in the middle of the traffic twice.
                              I somehow was able to push the car to the corner of the road call the owner and showed him the status of the car on whats up video. the car did not start. I had to leave the car there and go to my marriage in a auto rickshaw.
                              I was promised full refund for a week and suddenly my refund was denied.
                              Now i have a message saying that i still owe money 774 for the booking i was never able to use. Please refund me my hard earned money and provide customers with better cars and service.

                                I have booked a zoom car for 21th March 2022 to 23th March 2022, booking ID JPSN77MPP. They could not provide the car and the booking was canceled. Now a month passed the refund is not made by them. Their site says refund pending. The helpline says you don't have any bookings etc. This is ridiculous, stonewalled with all communications...

                                THIS COMPANY IS RUNNING A SCAM BY TAKING BOOKING AND CANCELING THEM AND NOT REFUNDING CUSTOMER MONEY

                                PATHETIC, GOVERNMENT SHOULD LOOK INTO THIS

                                Same thing happened to me. They also are not responding to emails. I am thinking of making compliant in either consumer court or filing an FIR.

                                  Hey @ZoomCarIndia, my cancelled ride was on 19th February. The ride was cancelled because the car I made transection for was not the at address and you guys were unable to find a replacement for me. I had wasted more than 3 hours on it and around total sum of 600₹ to reach the location and then go back. I was promised full refund of ₹2278 and yet I haven't received a single paisa from you guys. To top it off, you guys have the worst 'help and support', because no one can actually contact you through it.

                                    I hired car on 23/03/2022 RENAULT -Triber, from ZOOM CAR PVT LTD Booking Id - JPS69F54Q
                                    1) We received car 3 hours late to the booked slot ! Which caused us further delay in our trip !

                                    2) The car was damaged inside out from every corner, was extremely filthy inside too !

                                    3) The car broke down (silencer) few kms after hiring, which we got repaired from a mechanic on our own expenses, thankfully it didn’t broke out in a remote area !

                                    3) Coolant wasn’t there the car.

                                    4) Child lock, back seat button, pilot seat button all were broken which we also showed to the delivery person.

                                    5) We already took Insurance coverage by paying Rs.2000 extra. So why are we charged for 4000. According to your policy maximum charge should be Rs.249

                                    6) Booked car was not allotted. Car was driven 36000 km and 1.5 years old instead of which I have booked was 7000 km.
                                    And after so many calls and emails to customer care. There no response of the above issues.
                                    Considering all these points please update my dues. So that I can make payment.

                                      I booked rental car through zoomcar app and i got confirmation, Booking id: JPSN7OQ2X for Maruti Swift MT Petrol from 10:30 AM, 11 Apr to 11:30 PM, 11 Apr at Vasant Kunj is confirmed.
                                      Today i went to the location to pick the car. Car was there and i verified the car damages and other things. When i move to next option - unlock the car through app, the car doesn't unlocked. I tried it for long time. It wasted my 2hoursand the car didn't unlocked. My entire day was spoiled and my tour plan was not succeed. I came from kerala to delhi to visit delhi. And this happened. I paid total amount rupees 1383. So i need the total amount as refund. Here am attaching screenshot and video for more verification.
