I booked zoomcar from 25th to 30th Dec2021, Car broke down on 26th Evening 5 pm, I contacted customer care to which they said that I 'll get a call back, I got the call back by 3 am in night, "get some hotel and try to get the car repaired by a local mechanic, but before repair confirm with us", after that I contacted thr local mechanic, he asked me 4000 Rs and 2 days time since he didn't had renault car parts and he had to bring them from 200 km far, I contacted zoomcar, after 10 calls and nearly 6 hours of trying, they customer care guys told me, "lock the key inside car and arrange your way out of there", trip ruined, I came back, this was on 27th Dec, their customer car guy told me that I'll get my balance as refund from 26th Dec to 30 dec, yesterday I got a bill on app wanting me to pay them 1 Lakh, with no clear bifurcation of how, here my points, as I am planning to go to the court, if my refund is not paid, forget me paying them
1. Car given to me was a private number car, not a black yellow plate one
2. I have proof of car being brokedown due to bad maintenance (somebody fixed oil sump with Mseal, which leaked and car stopped, I have photos, videos and mechanic's witness along with texi driver, they all are happy to give their statement as people in mountains realy do care for people
3. How come there is fine if I had paid additional damage protection plan while booking
4. What happed to maximum liability of 10000
5. How come a remote car mechanic was willing to fix it for 4000 but u guys got it fixed for 1 Lakh
This is clearly looting, where they want to get car renewed on customers money
Such a shame
Lets see you in court guys, I am gonna file a harrasment case on many fronts
You guys are not even contactable, you send emails from no reply id, you phone numbers can't be connected if there is no live booking
