purchased a brand new Skoda Laura on 17 April 2009 from Marikar Engineers, Kochi . Ive driven only about 1500 kms and then the right Fog Lamp just fell off. I complained to Marikar as well as Skoda and till now this has not been rectified under warranty. Today, The company replied backl stating the job cannot be done under warranty as thereare scratched on the Lamp which suggests an external impact... I also sent many complaints to SKODA company but action so far.
within 2 months car started of giving problem.
The service is very bad in hyderabad and they are saying it will cost ~Rs 1, 35, 000. They have given defective piece and charging again within small duration... Legal action against SKODA as there is no proper action thought I kept the car 3 months back... support provided by your Skoda dealer in India.

The company’s reputation and power in Czech and also our inclination to perfect perfection derived us to purchase this car... of the mail sent to skoda company but no reply and no help till dates even after repeated concerns. please help and provide justice.

s ervice station of skoda and they say they willreplace the compressor of the car!!!. Its been 30 dyas my car is with them and they do not revert me back inspite me speaking and writing mails to their officials in Aurangabad and delhi.
I have hired cab for past 20 dyas for the same and these people just do nothing !!! more than the car is their WORST SERVICE

the owner of “ SKODA LAURA” vechicle no. KL-12-C-5500, and being been serviced at MARIKAR, THIRUVANANTHAPURAM. The vechicle has been facing a problem with the “AIR BAG” showing error message and the indicator light is always on. The vechicle has been shown at service centre MARIKAR, THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, to resolve this problem repeatatly for the past 18 months and the problem has not been solved ... I completly empathise with owners of Skoda vehicles given the callous attitude of not only its dealers but of Skoda Auto itself.
My superb, aTDI, is a little over 3 years with approx 38000kms has had more than its fair share of problems starting with the sunroof. This had been repaired in the first year under warranty but since then had to be repaired twice again within the next year... Skoda India / Laura — Terrible service! (comment)

We offered to return the car at a discount and lo and behold the summer of 2009 was aleady on us. The car was not cooling at all in Delhi heat. Skoda finally agreed to replace the Compressor, condenser unit and the blower unit. Continental took the car in on June 20, 2008 for FOUR days... Skoda Octavia — Not working properly (comment)
suggest them to buy Skoda Brand.
The Service back up is so bad, it;s hard to explain.
Please do stay away from Skoda Brand.

I want to take action to dealer, works manager and the concerned staff, also the problem to be rectified. I had not also got the warrnety book too . They say it is out of stock. Do respond please... The Skoda horn is a Bosch OEM.
If you wish I can arrange for the Horn to be repaired / Replaced with a Refurbished Unit for about Rs. 1000 each. But suggest that you get this replaced within warranty... Although Skoda claims the car has "legendary" reliability, the truth is far from it. I have heard the same sentiments echoed by my friends in Bangalore. It looks like a universal Skoda problem, not just a one-off problem. Sadly, only in India, companies like this can get away with such rubbish... after the purchase and skoda Continentals ervice centre as well as the people in the head office(Aurangabad) and the customer care people in Gurgaon are not doing anything about it they say condenser and compresor both are faulty!! and they kept my acr for more than a month!!! BAD SERVICE AND VERY BAD REPUTED BRAND... like fiesta, lenia, skoda's etcin diesle sigment. but i like only sx4 according to my physic. i hope u will consider my submmission and make this car available in diesle sigment as early as possible. thanking you... kind of problems with SKODA. It's really not worth of buying SKODA LAURA ... that we buyed a new skoda octavia from a showrom called torque in Ahmedabad, we received the car and later we found out that the car was used old car which was in the show room and the seats didnt work as well as lights didnt functioned well, how come the show room people deliver us the the car which was old and they lied that it came from Bardoda on the 31st, actually it was delivered on the 1st We returned the car back to them and the showroom people said that they apploize for the in convience about what their statements they lied blaming each other there and they will replce a new car in a week with a higher model which will cost us atleast 40, 000 more... Skoda India and their dealers DO NOT CARE a damn about their customers.
I bought a Fabia in June 09, and regret every moment. My complaint was badly handled right from the lady who is their "After Sales" contact person on their mail.
After that I got a "survey" call wherein I explained everything again, I got a Complaint number, and thought that luck has smiled at last... | |
