Dear sir,

Your sales guy promised installation with 24 hrs of payment. I waited for more than a week from december and lodged innumerable requests for instllation. Strangely, they are all closed without doing any work.

I asked for refund and has been witing on an update to what accoung that my amount was refunded. Again, the ticket will be closed without a refund and without action.

    Hi ACT,

    I was using Jio Giga fiber for the past one year, I received a call
    from one of you ACT salesperson and he explained me the plan
    information. Sales Person Name: Prasanth D (Emp id:24304). Prasanth
    came to my resident and explained the plan information, initially I
    was not satisfied with the plan he explained and told him that the
    price is too much when compared to Jio. So in quick time the salesperson Prasanth came up with other plans.

    Plan Explained by Sales Person Prasanth D ( Emp: 24304)

    1. He said if we show the existing JioGiga Fiber bill we will
    be given three months of free subscription of ACT plan whichever we
    choose so we opt for ACT Blast Promo Plan which cost rs.1049 register
    Mobile number [protected]

    2. Also, he told us if we take up the connection the same day
    that is on Sat Dec 21st he will not be billed until Jan 1st.

    3. The final one in our monthly bill rs 150 will be waived off.

    Note: Prasanth D told me whatever problem you have please contact me
    at any time and gave me his number: [protected]

    Those are the three promises the salesperson Prasanth told me. After
    listening to him I asked thrice are you sure about the discount, he
    told me in a confident way Yes.

    So I decided to remove Jio Giga fiber and opted for ACT plan ACT Blast
    Promo and I paid rs 2238 which includes 1000 rs for the router.

    On the Month of Jan 2020, I received a message from ACT asking to pay
    rs 338.22. I immediately checked with Prasanth he said please don’t
    worry I will take care of it.

    I was receiving several messages from ACT so I sent Prasanth a whats
    app message on Jan 16 around 9 am. He gave me a big shock saying that
    he has Resigned from ACT due to some family issues.

    I texted him again asking for what happened to the discount and promise
    you gave me. He replied to me saying I cant do anything since I am no
    more working for ACT, I was totally disappointed.

    I tried to call him he is not attending my call, I reached the
    customer care and told the above-listed issue and they said they will
    check and come back. My complaint ID : SR [protected]

    I totally lost the Hope and faith in ACT now. due to Prasanth D sales
    person fake or false promise, why should the customer (I) Suffer? I
    need you to take an action on this. I want a discount whichever
    promised, because of that I took of Jio connection.

    I have enclosed the ID card pictures which I received from sales
    the person for your reference.

    Kindly help me out I was cheated by ACT.

      I have opted for internet plan of act and paid through act app. After that nobody contacted me regarding new connection. I kept trying to call them and ask regarding issue status. Their member claim that they have initiated refund process but was rejected from bank end due to some issue. After that they started telling me my transaction amount is not yet updated to their end. I made payment on 5th sep, 2019. And after 4 months they are telling me that my transaction amount is not updated.

        My act fiber-net account no :[protected] got disconnected 3 months ago, but still my advance amount has not been refunded yet. Raised multiple service requests by calling customer care but all of them got resolved without any intimation and resolution. Still my advance amount of rs.3500/- is with act fiber-net. Have sent multiple mail to the customer care but everything went unresponsive.

          Act service is pathetic. There is no internet @ home from last 6 days, i have been calling & emailing act guys repeatedly.

          Reporting to below escalation email-id also didn't help
          Appellate authorityblr, nodalofficer. [protected]@actcorp.in, helpdesk. [protected]@actcorp.in

          Act takes its customers for granted.

          Below sr's highlight the pain i have gone through all these days

          1. Sr[protected] - expected resolution was : 01/04/2020 17:00:00 - there was no attempt to resolve issue here.
          2. Sr[protected] - expected resolution was: 01/08/2020 18:00:00 - time has passed and no update yet.
          3. Escalation sr : sr[protected]?

          After a long follow-up i get a call today from technician saying they cannot provide service since they ran out of network ports. I have paid them semi-annual subscription, and they have denied service abruptly in-between. As i am a tenant i cannot give permission for junction box but i did agree to pay 2200 for a gx box, they say they cant even provide that.

          At-least process my refund request asap, so that i can look for other isp in my area. And refrain from providing connections to customers if you cant service them consistently.

          I am fed up with such replies from your team since last 6 days. I don't think your team is in a position to resolve this issue. You have been putting this on priority with your team from last 5-6 days, and you are unable to resolve it.

          Since its your inability to provide promised service, you should be refunding complete 6 months subscription fee collected from me.

            I raised a name change request for my act connection in nov-2019 & its still not resolved. My billing due date was in nov and i've not paid the bill because when i raised the request the cs rep said that the connection will be disconnected and a new connection with new name will be given & its 2 months with no internet & incomplete request. I also reached out to the nodal officer and other higher authorities and they also assured that it will be resolved in 1 week but its been a month since they said this. This type of a customer service will only stop customers from using act fiber broadband and shifting to a more customer oriented provider. I don't have internet since many days and also the bill has been generated for this period. I have already given act a chance to fix the problem which i was facing but they are reluctant to do so. I am really fed up of this type of service and will never recommend to any of my friends or colleagues.

            I have not received any response till now from ACT fiber. I am really fed up of following up and wasting my time. I'm already looking out for some better and reasonable ISPs which can provide reliable and good speeds. If I don't receive any response from you guys in the next 1-2 days, I'm sorry to say I'll be making a move and will never ever come back even if there is no other provider available in my area other than yours. I hope you understand and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

            I informed many days back and they didn't disconnect yet and I'm getting bill messages.so please disconnect
            Why is the customer care at Act Fibernet so irresponsible. Even after following up many times they don't care anymore. Do they really want to run their business in this way and loose customers to competitors. I'm sure that ACT will also be the BSNL of the future if this same behavior is continued.

            Also the Service is so pathetic. I keep on calling to Customer Care executive and Field technicians visiting the site, but problem not getting resolved.

              I applied for a new ACT broad band connection, executive came in person and collected documents and 3 months advance amount. Later received a msg from ACT saying, refund is initiated due no network in our area. Jan 4th ACT taken bank details through mail, but till now amount is not been refunded. I called customer care to know status, but they are not responding properly. They say, they transfer to the concerned department, but even after i wait for 8 mins no body pick the call. This is repeated 3 times.

                I have opted to use Act Bangalore internet(my biggest mistake). I paid all the amount necessary for 3months plan but on the said date by them no installation was done. Even after repeated request no installation was done. So eventually I opted for refund process. I was provided a SR[protected] but after repeated callings nothing was done and no refund was generated from the company. This is such a fraud company fooling people by taking money and providing no service.
                The worst part is the customare care absolute no idea what they are talking. Everytime i call them someone will tell some new story nobody knows the thing what to do inspite of repeated request for refund.
                I want my money to be refunded asap.

                  Since my previous complaint got no response, posting it again to get some attention.

                  I had posted a detailed complaint on the subject matter on the below link:

                  After this, I received a call from ACT's social media team stating they made a mistake and will refund the router charge that was incorrectly billed and credit my bank account with it.

                  They did waive the router charge after that BUT when I got the money in bank, it was without the Router charge!

                  I again spoke to their useless customer service team and as you can guess its of no use!

                  I need the money that was deducted incorrectly for router refunded to me ASAP so that I can forget I ever had any connection with your company ever again!

                  YOU'VE ALSO SHOWN THE AUDACITY TO REACTIVATE MY DISCONNECTED CONNECTION BY YOUR OWN AND ASKING ME TO PAY FOR IT WHEREAS I'VE STOPPED USING YOUR CONNECTION FROM NOVEMBER AND ALREADY GOT A DIFFERENT SERVICE PROVIDER.

                  MAKE SURE THE AMOUNT THAT WAS WRONGLY DEDUCTED FOR ROUTER IS REFUNDED AND NOT CHARGE ME FOR ANY USELESS SERVICE THAT I DIDN'T AUTHORIZE YOU TO ACTIVATE.

                    I am existing customer requested and requested connection relocation but the customer care and service guy said connection relocation takes max 7 days of time so instead suggested me to go with new connection. So I had subscribed for a new connection on Jan 30 through a sales representative by paying an amount of Rs. 12, 00. My account no[protected]. I was initially promised that the connection would be installed by 31st dec 2019. But, after the amount was deducted, no response from any person till date and they are saying connection box is full at the area so it will take another 7-10 days. service guy number who promised me 24 hrs of connection nawan (who checked my location details & everything before payment) ph [protected].

                      On 23rd of december, i wanted to take wifi for my house. So went to act website in order to get 1month wifi (Act storm) + router + installation charges. All together rs 2018 was to be payed. After filling in debit card details and getting an otp, i pressed enter. It showed page error and it said it failed (Citruspay didnt send any data, try again). But my money was deducted. This has happened quite a few times before, so thought it will be credited back in 7 working days. I didnt recieve any calls saying i payed. But i needed wifi on the same day coz cctv installation was done and had to be connected online. So after some time someone from act had called me. I thought it was coz i payed. He called just coz i had entered my details on the website and asked me whether i was interested to take any wifi plans. I did ask him whether my money has reached act, but he said i haven't made any payment. So called him over to my house and discussed some of the plans and i took a 6month plan (Act storm) for around rs.8000. Even he told the money might be stuck between 2 banks and will be returned back after few days. So i didnt worry much. Later after all installation was done at around 4:30 or so, i got a call asking for installation of rs2018 plan. So i told him the case, asked for a refund, they sent me a link, uploaded my documents and my live photo and submitted on the same day. The next day (24th dec) i get a message and i'll paste it at the bottom. They told my money will be refunded, but it has been 7 days and my money has not been refunded yet. Please help to get my money back.

                      I got this message 1 day after i had payed and even after asking for a refund:
                      We confirm receipt of rs:2018 via online towards act fibernet a/cno[protected].in case of queries pls call [protected] or [protected]. Use the new app to track data usage, register service request, pay your bill and lot more https://is.gd/actapp.

                      I don't know what they have done after i asked for refund but i have 2 account numbers for some reason.
                      6months[protected] this is the one i'm currently having and using in my house.
                      But later i got a message with this account number[protected]

                      If refund is not possible, please add 1 or 2 months more (Not sure how many months) to my current subscription/account number[protected] and balance amount subtract from my due amount as negative balance.

                        I have taken the act fibernet on nov 23, 2019 and initially sales agent offered me d-link router and immediate installation after i have paid the amount and they told me the different router so i have cancelled my connection. At that time they promised for refund. Since 25 days i am struggling to get my refund and called so many times to customer care and nodel officer and appellate authority and intentionally, they are delaying my refund.

                          My ACT account number is[protected] .I have placed the disconnection request/Refund requesting by calling help desk, at that time customer care executive told me i will be getting my refund in within 15 days of disconnection, connection was disconnect on 5th November, i have waited till 26th November but i didn't get refund, so when i called customer care they said i wont get refund as per their policy, if i wish i can transfer it to my friends or Relatives ACT account otherwise i have to loose it, then i argued with them for almost 1hr finally they agreed to refund within 2days and asked me to give my bank details via email i have shared all those details to them...

                          i have waited again till 24th of this month i have not received refund, so i have mailed to their appellate and nodal officers, today on 26th somebody called for appellate and saying same old story again about their policy ...

                          i have already wasted so much time talking and emailing them, now i want to file a compliant in consumer court with all the proofs of email communication, please guide me how to do it...

                            Hi sir, today contacted act fibernet team asked for new connection. The concern customer care lady told me "if i take 6 months plan, i will get free installation and router free. I agreed and she has sent representative to my home. That guy said"if i pay 3600, i will get unlimited data with 40mbps for 6 months. I am convinced with his words and paid the amount of 3600 from my credit card. Then the guy started saying that "for router i have to pay additional 800rs. When i contacted customer care for almost 6 times, then finally they are saying that for free router i have a take 9 months plan and there is nothing like unlimited plan available in act fiber. Both customer care people and representative misguided me and made false statements. I want the amount to be refunded or action to be taken on this

                              T has been very long time we are complicating about to change powerpoint to our store as its in other palace there off the power point go we would not able to use ineter till there on the power every time we give complaint with any resolving there close the token solve the problem are else we have to raise a consumer complaint[protected] every time we have been calling this customer care but no respond

                                Hi sir/madam

                                My account with act[protected]

                                I am using act from last one year with plan act swift which supposed to have 200gb data. All of sudden i got to know that my limit is exceed in just 20days got surprised. I don't have habit of downloading stuff from internet like movies, videos etc. For day to day normal usage like watching couple of movies in online and some other stuff wont be consuming that much data i hope. I raised a complaint against data exceed but no certain action as taken on that and not even providing proper details. I am totally helpless with act customer services. I hope by raising complaint here, might help people to know how act treating there customers.

                                  I selected 8+4m package and paid full amount in advance when taking new connection. But they updated i took 10+2month package in their system and sent me a mail that i am due 2478 rupees. I paid as they will disconnect the service because of the due.
                                  I then filed this compliant at act customer care. They said there was mistake from billing team. The paid amount 2478 will get reflected to my act account in 48 hours. But that didnot happen. I have been calling them from days to get that refund. The problem is
                                  1. Inefficient service to refund the amount
                                  2. Inefficient service to update the billing correctly
                                  3. Inefficient service to act on time

Every time i call I have to explain my problem again and again to the agent. Dont you keep a ticket open until its resolved? Do you even have ethics to provide a customer basic service. I now feel frustrated by these calls and irritated to avail your service. I unnecessarily opted for 1 year package and referred my friends also to opt ACT. At least they are saved as they took only 1 month package. Now i can ask them to disconnect immediately

                                  today i asked your team to keep ticket open. I am not sure how long they will keep the ticket open. such an inefficient service. Hell

                                    Internet has been down past 48 hours. Nobody at customer care support has been able to provide any update as to when the issue will be resolved. If there's any major issue, at least there should be communication about it. Customer care reps repeat the same lines and they are no help really. The manager's phone line always seem to be busy to receive an escalation call from customer.
                                    Act services might be fine but a very pathetic customer service and clearly visible management failure to continue such poor services.

                                      Hi,

                                      My act broadband account number is:[protected]. I recently upgraded my plan from a-max 1050 to a-max 1299 on 16th december 2019. I was previously getting 90-100 mbps download speed and after the upgrade i was supposed to get 150 mbps. However, after the upgrade i'm getting the same speed that i was getting earlier, i. E. 90-100 mbps instead of the promised 150 mbps. Only my fup has increased from 750 gb to 1024 gb. After several complaints there was no resolution provided by act and my complaint tickets are still open. The ticket nos. Are: sr[protected] and sr[protected]. They said they'll be sending field technician to my house but no one came. I'm using a high-end router tp-link archer c5400. Moreover when i said i wanted to downgrade the plan to my older one, they said they are unable to do so till the end of the month. Also they charged me rs. 151.64 /- extra for the upgraded plan even though they failed to provide the upgrade in speed. This is not expected from a renowned company like act. Kindly look into the issue and provide a resolution asap.

                                      Yesterday, the field technicians visited my house and they said that they need to change the cable to a new one. They promised to come today by 10 AM to change the cable, but no one visited at the mentioned time. After several calls they lifted my phone and said carelessly that the cable has not come yet so they are not sure when they will come. They also suggested me to downgrade my plan if I don't want to change my cable. What kind of weird suggestion is this from technicians of a renowned company like ACT? Why should I downgrade my plan? When you've promised to provide the service you should also provide the necessary accessories. It's already been 4 days since I raised my complaint and till now I didn't get the promised speed. I'm also paying extra for the upgraded plan and not getting any benefits. Could you please look into the issue and make sure it gets resolved by today?

                                        I have complained in consumer complaints before on ACT fibre they gave reply with in 2days ie on date 12th of November. They asked me to provide my number I submitted my number over there from 14th November again I didn’t receive a call or msg from them
