On 23rd of december, i wanted to take wifi for my house. So went to act website in order to get 1month wifi (Act storm) + router + installation charges. All together rs 2018 was to be payed. After filling in debit card details and getting an otp, i pressed enter. It showed page error and it said it failed (Citruspay didnt send any data, try again). But my money was deducted. This has happened quite a few times before, so thought it will be credited back in 7 working days. I didnt recieve any calls saying i payed. But i needed wifi on the same day coz cctv installation was done and had to be connected online. So after some time someone from act had called me. I thought it was coz i payed. He called just coz i had entered my details on the website and asked me whether i was interested to take any wifi plans. I did ask him whether my money has reached act, but he said i haven't made any payment. So called him over to my house and discussed some of the plans and i took a 6month plan (Act storm) for around rs.8000. Even he told the money might be stuck between 2 banks and will be returned back after few days. So i didnt worry much. Later after all installation was done at around 4:30 or so, i got a call asking for installation of rs2018 plan. So i told him the case, asked for a refund, they sent me a link, uploaded my documents and my live photo and submitted on the same day. The next day (24th dec) i get a message and i'll paste it at the bottom. They told my money will be refunded, but it has been 7 days and my money has not been refunded yet. Please help to get my money back.
I got this message 1 day after i had payed and even after asking for a refund:
We confirm receipt of rs:2018 via online towards act fibernet a/cno[protected].in case of queries pls call [protected] or [protected]. Use the new app to track data usage, register service request, pay your bill and lot more https://is.gd/actapp.
I don't know what they have done after i asked for refund but i have 2 account numbers for some reason.
6months[protected] this is the one i'm currently having and using in my house.
But later i got a message with this account number[protected]
If refund is not possible, please add 1 or 2 months more (Not sure how many months) to my current subscription/account number[protected] and balance amount subtract from my due amount as negative balance.
