Hi,

I stay near doddanekundi, bangalore. I have opted for act 650/- subscription and have paid 1300/- including the installation charges.
The company has taken all our details but it has been 2 weeks and they are not providing internet to us. They did not install any device and customer care and [protected] person is asking for extra money. Also, this person [protected] who came to our apartment and took all the details is now disconnecting our calls.
Please help us get our money back or get the internet connection live.
Act numbers: [protected]/[protected] (These people are ignoring use).

Please blacklist them from providing service as they do not have decency.

    Hello,

    I requested for a independent connection without a junction box. The technician visited my premises and disconnected the internet temporarily. He said that he will give a new connection. It is already five days now and i am without internet. I am paying internet bill for full month. Also, i need it for work purposes. Can someone help me with speeding up this process. I have no idea as to when this will be fixed.

      I am very disappointed to see such a bad service from your company. I was actually having two connections and requested for deactivation of one connection at nellore because you could not provide service to my new address at nellore. But apart from deactivating my nellore connection, you have also deactivated my visakhapatnam connection without my consent and also despite of me communicating with you several times and explaining the mistake done by you... You have been just closing my complaints in a brainless manner just to close the complaint quickly. I have tried to contact the customer service but could not connect despite waiting for 30 minutes on the phone line... You people are trying to discourage the customers... Very sorry to have been associated with you for a long time

      I have already paid the bill but my network is not shown to login
      ACT is not responding to the customers in a proper manner. Payment is made In paytm account . After the payment of the bill the account is suspended . I complaint to the customer care more than 4 times and still there is not response from ACT.

        I recently raised a ticket (Sr[protected]) for no bill adjustment for switch box powered from my electricity meter.
        Now the ticket is closed, but amount credited is for 1 month only, whereas the box was attached to my power supply on 16 june 2019, when ticket sr[protected] was resolved. My current bill is for past 6 months, so amount should reflect from the date of power connection till date, not just 1 month.

        Sr[protected] issue was raised on 14 june 2019 for internet not working. Issue being power connection to the switch box was cut off.
        After 3 days when they came, still they said 2 more days to fix, then i offered to take power connection from my premise. But as the amount did not reflect in their app, i waited for the bill to generate.
        Now the amount is not reflecting from the date of connection as expected.

        On raising bill rectification request (Sr[protected]), resolution is done for last month only. No way to add comments on the re-opened ticket.
        No one from act support bothered to call, why ticket is re-opened.

        After reopening ticket and follow up mail still issue is no response from act fibernet team.

        App does not have option to raise concern for these issue.
        An email was sent to support as well as nodal head, but still no response.

          Hello,

          It is very dissapointing to learn how poor and how helpless your customer service could be. My bill payment for the month of december was due on 15th december, however, i have made the payment today at 2.45pm. Yet, my account is suspended.

          When i called customer service, the associate 'kumar' told that the account is suspended and they cannot do anything right now. He was of no help and wasn't ready to transfer the call to higher escalation desk.

          I work in an american shift and my work was interrupted due to the negligence of your billing department and helpless ness of the of customer service.

          I want the issues to be resolved as soon as possible and want proper actions to the taken on the associate who handled my call.

          Also, i would want to know how you gonna compensate me for the error from your end due to which my productivity hours are lost and i am at a loss.

          I hope this is taken care of and would receive a positive response from you.

          I'll make sure yo follow up with this and let people know how pathetic the service was.

            On 25th of nov i paid act a sum of rs 3750 for 3 months internet plan …. And the act guy came home for installation and went without installing and on 4th of dec the guy came and he too went without installing the wifi router and same happned on 6th dec.
            Later the act guy said they will refund the amount as there are no servers in my area in bangalore and they are delaying the process and making me wait for such a long time to refund my money

              This is magguru bangarayya, i want to close my act fibernet connection urgent because of non proper service by the act fibernet. Iam getting the internet service twice in week. For this problem so many times escalated to concerned team, managers but there was no any changes to provide the proper internet, due to this reason iam very tired with calling of act team. From my side clearly saying that, act fibernet team totally failed on this.
              Requesting to all concerned team and managers please close my account immediately. I dont want this connection.

                I requested for a service disconnect on 12th OCT 2019 and same has been processed by ACT on 21st OCT 2019. I paid the prorated bill too for OCT 2019.

                However ACT fibernet sending billsfor NOV 2019 even after service disconnect in OCT .

                  I have booked a internet connection and paid through phonepay the amount was deducted from my account and they have not installed internet connection by saying amount (Rs.3310/-) was not updated and they said that the amount will be refunded but not done till today. This incident happened before two weeks. And due to emergency i have booked another connection worth rs.3310/- yesterday but there was no response from them till now regarding installation
                  The ever worst service provider in india is act.
                  My sincere request to all is not to go for act internet service it is waste of time

                    I've spent numerous hours arguing with Act's useless customer care team over a period of 8 months and this is exhausting.

                    Let me get to the issues I have now:

                    1. Wrongfully charged for WiFi Router:

                    I Bought your act broadband connection back in April 2019 when one of your sales guys approached me with an offer and at the time of connection, I was told that if I pay for 6 months upfront, I will get free installation and wifi router.

                    So I opted for that offer and completed that term (April to October 2019). Which should've meant that the wifi router cost was absorbed within this period.

                    Now when I renewed the connection again in October for 6 more months, I opted for 6+1 offer since I didn't need the router again.

                    But now that I have cancelled your connection in November, you have charged me for wifi router which shouldn't have been!

                    I have raised numerous complaints about this from past 1 week and all complaints including the one below were closed WITHOUT EVEN TELLING ME WHY!

                    I'm calling your customer care team EVERY SINGLE DAY to ask the status of this charge and my refund and not a single one has done anything about it!

                    This is really getting on my nerves as you guys as a company have failed miserably to even address a simple issue.

                    Can you make sure I FULL REFUND (Deducting one month charge for October) and I get someone to call me and confirm this?

                    2. REFUNDS:

                    I Have been sending emails after email to your refunds team with my account details and have already sent 5 emails till date with the account details.

                    But today I get an email again asking for the same info and finally you guys closed the refund request stating I haven't sent the Bank details!

                    I can understand your Frustration, I am also in similar situation.
                    Its been one month since I started following it up, Customer care is so bad, they just open and close ticket at their will.
                    Also, I had sent multiple e-mails on their escalation, Nodal officer and Appellate authority e-mails and no proper response yet, even their twitter handle is of no use, so we can understand why their customer care is so bad, when higher authorities don't care for customers why would they

                    I sincerely wish at least your issue is looked into and resolved soon.

                    Seriously. These guys have one of the worst customer service possible.

                    I've never seen such arrogant customer service in any company. They are acting as if we owe them something and not that they get paid out of our payments.

                    No empathy, no communication skills and worst product knowledge where I need to explain them on each and every call on how things work in their own company!
                    We r not getting internet today from one hour ? Why this disruption of net? When we already paid for full one year

                      I have applied for act fibernet internet on 23/10/2019.

                      I was selected "act blaze" plan and paid rs. 3750/- which i had received payment receipt.

                      With a high expectation, i had applied for act fire next connection.

                      Before submitting all my documents, sales executive used to call me twice in a week to submit the documents for new connection process.

                      Based on the executive representation that, entire process will take two days and on 3rd day installation will be done.

                      The above said connection was very much essential, i had agreed to proceed for new connection.

                      Dispute so many request and reminders, act team was failed to fulfill the customer requirement.

                      I never expected this and worst service from act.

                      I this regards i have escalated (Sent emails) to act nodal officer and appellate authority, but no response.

                        deactivation of account

                        Hi, i want to deactive my account, i called them and told to deactived my account on 26/11/2019, they raised ticket sr[protected], and said that it will be deactived in 48 hours, i got the same as sms, but they did not deactivated my account. Then i called again and said i[censored] dont deactive i wont pay bill asked them twice on[protected] they said they have deactive in 4 hours. I mailed [protected]@actcorp.in, and also to nodal officer nodalofficer....

                        I am trying to reach out to act regarding internet issues since so many days and sometimes months too and still there is no proper response from act regarding this issue i have raised several tickets and still i haven’t received a proper response and this issue keeps happening atleast 3 to 4 times in a month where when i have to work from home it’s really hectic without a internet connection which is of no use and i am paying my bills for the connection on time... If not paid for one day they levy penalty charges on bill whereas if no internet connection is there for a day i don’t see any discount or atleast a apology from act rep’s. Indeed i get a rude behaviour in return when i complaint of this issue and when i also intimated the act rep available on this ‭+[protected]‬ mobile number that i’ll be raising a consumer complaint still i get a response as rude as consumer complaint can’t do anything.

                        I request you to kindly check on this issue and please get back to me at any point and this kind of behaviour from a service provider is not at all acceptable.

                          I had opted for re-connection and when team called on oct25th i had clearly told not activate anything, but confirm on the availability in my area, as i had very bad experience last time too, after full payment it was told not available in my area.
                          As usual they ignored customer requirement and did what they want to and activated my account from oct 24th itself, and even showed due amount against my account
                          Connection to my house was provided on oct 31st and i didnt had proper wifi router as i hadnt discussed any particualr plan with act, it was told me that customer care will take care of billing changes and some plan was explained and i did payment of rs7500 (Sixmonths advance payment free wifi router and 1 month free internet) on nov1st (A blunder).
                          After that its gone, inspite of my repeated followups to customer care numbers, each time a sr ticket was raised and closed without any resolution next day.
                          Nodal officer number is not at all connecting and i did mail nodal officer and appellate authority, their escalation contacts, tweeted on their official twitter handle, even on app left comments, and no use it was just an automated standard message like this is not the experience we want you to have so on
                          And from last 1 week, haven't heard anything in-spite of repeated mails/tweets
                          One of the pathetic service i have ever experienced, i will never ever suggest this act to anyone in future

                            Hello,
                            This is Dinesh and I requested for a new connection but that was not done on on-time even though they took money from me. Hence i asked to refund the amount by filing a request on Nov 5th 2019 and the complaint number is SR[protected]. I am keep on following with customer care, every one is saying you will get call in 24hrs. But i didnt received any call. After repeated followups, after15 days i got an email asking for my bank details and i sent them. After that im not receiving any update. When i call customer care, again they are saying you will get update in 24hrs.. But nothing is happening. Can you please help me in sorting out the issue.

                              without resolving my issue how you update mark has resolved, please resolve the issue asap.
                              There are many wires running around by buliding as they have the box in my home. Also offered me some discount for that in bill however that has been stopped in August and I have complainted about wires which are damage my house drain pipes. Asked them to move them. But no response.

                                  I have take broadband internet connection in june 2019 and since then my broadband connection was gone offline and everytime i have to raise a complaint using the app. I will get a message saying one of the switch is down and it will be retcified in 4 hours. But i will get the connection by evening 5.00pm. From november 6th act is disconnecting the connection by 10am and comes back by 5.00pm this has been a routine and i have to raise complaint almost everyday. Inspite of call customer care often i dnt get proper response from them and never get chance to speak to a technical team. I work from home and need a stable connection. I have made payments for 3 months and now november month is fully gone without using the service properly. Last weekend and this weekend is fully in operational. I have attached all the messages related to the tickets raised. Please take necessary actions against act. I would request the company to return back my money since almost a month i'm without the service.

                                    Took act internet considering the speed but it does not work very often. Got fed up complaining. Only temporary action taken and again after some days the issue continues. No permanent action taken. If the internet not working it is totally company's fault and should provide waiver in the bill for the days when internet didn't work. Act is neither taking responsibility to provide continuous internet to customers nor accepting the fault and reducing the bill. Requesting action.
