I'm not able to contact a single act person not in my whole life. i told them to disconnect me from their services a month ago and they disconnected my services and today i get a call that i am being billed for something that i'm not using. so my point is ACT IS THE WORST SERVICE IN MY LIFE.so just remove my account from your services, deactivate it, take away your wire and ### and i'm not going to pay a single rupee just take your ### connection away.

    I was promised that if i make the bill payment before due date of 15th oct 2019, my plan would be auto upgraded from 150 mbps to 200 mbps with 800 gb bandwidth per month. I made the bill payment the very next moment of receiving this message from act. And since then it has been more than 20 days i have been trying to contact customer care, help-desk, even the nodal and appellate authorities personnel to get this done with no go. Even after sending so many emails i have not got this service fulfilled. The nodal and appellate authorities does not seem to be taking any action and help the customers.
    When you call customer care you never get connected to the agent since there would always be a long queue. This means company has not got enough staff to help customers. Their website is down since last 3-4 days and nobody has bothered to check it i feel. Secondly when you escalate it to higher authorities like nodal and appellate officers they simply do not respond nor they take any action.
    I feel the act company would simply be paying them salaries in lakhs of rupees since they are not doing anything they are supposed to do. Hat is the purpose of their existence when they cannot help the customer with their simple issues.
    Moreover, every month their connection do not work for 2-3 days and we still pay them full rental on monthly basis. They should understand that when the customer is paying them the amount they charge us, it is their utmost priority to help the customer provide better services and with promised assistance.

    I want act to keep their promise and upgrade my plan from 150mbps to 200mbps as promised with a data capping of 800gb immediately. I have already done enough escalation and follow ups on this with no go hence, i have created a complaint here.

    I do not know why this complaint was closed? My speed is again back to 150 Mbps from Promised 200 Mbps. This is seriously ridiculous. I was promised by Act company that they will increase my Internet Speed to 200 Mbps. But, Its not done.
    I want to re-open this ticket and get this escalated again

      I have submitted all documents and even paid 3 month's rent for the new fibernet connection on the 6.11.2019. I was promised installation of the device latest by next day. Am still waiting for the installation. When i raise the use with the customer support they simply makes lame excuses. Why do act take the money and not provide service? Will act fibernet resolve the issue by the end of the day or pay me back the 3 month's advance. Customers should not be taken for granted for your lousy service and false promises. Act fibernet should be banned from the indian cyber space

        I have raised a request sr[protected] for relocation, till now it is not done. This is really annoying and i have wasted alot of time calling and writing emails to customer care, nodal officer but nothing has changed. I am really frustrated with act services. My work is completely relay on internet and due to the poor service i am going through mental tension.

          I contacted act agent regarding wi-fi services on 25 october 2019, the agent visited
          And confirmed availability on same day. I paid him rs. 3749 via card for 3 months service and router. It's been 10 days i have registered for a new connection. No one turned up for installation and has not answered any of my calls since then. Been 4 days requesting for the cancellation of service. Yet no proper response on the status of my request. The customer executive has been negligent, promising to initiate cancellation and initiate refund within 24 hours each time. I had called 3 times to check on the request. Today (4 november 2019) the executive said that the process would take 15 days, upon requesting a tentative date the executive again promised to process the refund within 24 hours. This company is no more trustable, hence there is no guarantee that the refund will be initiated anytime sooner.

            The act fibernet is charging extra amount on my bills. Recently they stopped internet connection on oct due to i denied to pay my bill of that month. But for next time in nov even though i have no net connection throughout the oct they sent me the bill for two months. This is how they do business by looting their customers. If i call the customer service it's always telling busy. I am not able to approach them. They are only sending mails and messages every day.

              I have raised complaint that my internet connection is not working from monday 28.10.2019 and till now 02.11.2019 it is not resolved. They closing the complaints without resolving customer complaint. Very worst customer service from act. While i am speaking to customer care they're opening new complaints again but at last my issue it not solved. They are sending bill every month correctly likewise they have to attend and resolve the complaints correctly. Very worst response from everyone in act customer service. I am paying bills correctly every month. But they are saying we will provide wave off for these days. Why i should get wave off i am very paying full amount of bill likewise i need service right? I don't care about customer. Irresponsibility from customer care service. Worst act fiber net service.

                Act is the worst service provider ever. I have been using this for around 6 months and i may have complained for ~ 20 times. Every weekend the internet goes off. Normally they say they take 24 hours to resolve but every weekend they say there is a major fiber cut in the area and will take 2 days to solve.

                These guys have heavy traffic during weekends which they are unable to handle.in order to cope up with this heavy data traffic, they simply switch off some of their routers to ease data congestion and tell customers that fiber cut has taken place. This is absolutely rubbish. How is it possible to be having data cable getting cut only during weekends when we need it the most. And guess what, they reimburse the money fir the loss but you can use it only if you renew your # plan.

                Very clever act, but rest assured this will not last long. There are consumer redressal forums which are working actively and it would not be late when you are penalised more than you are actually earning by fooling your customers.

                Also the nodal officers and appellate authority are complete nonsense and dont repond to emails or calls.

                Guys act is totally useless and you will repent after subscribing and paying such a huge amount. Better go for hathway.

                  I have been having act for last few years, sometime in march/april i subscribed to 6 month pack expecting a good deal with netflix. I was disappointed with the whole deal as i could not take advantage of getting netflix concession due to act red tape and sick customer service

                  The payment was valid till oct 31 st, i called up act customer care early oct and in one of those rare cases got to speak to their person. I asked for a downgrade of plan as the app does not provide downgrading (Which is sic). They assured that it will reflect from 1st nov and i have time till 15th nov to pay

                  Now on 2nd nov my act account has been suspended and the amount mentioned in the app is excess by 500 for no reason

                  Complained through email as it is impossible to get to customer support. They apologized for the mix up but suspended my account

                    Hi,

                    When i move the new premises, i have requested act internet service provider to give me a separate connection and it should not be shared to neighbors since we got so much disturbance from the support team if there is any complaint registered. They agreed but they started coming to home and requested to take a connection from the device for the neighbors. Initially we refused and allowed to take a connection to our neighbor. They said if you need device for your own then you need to pay 2000+ which i paid long back. Till now the other connection which is taken from our box is not yet removed and also the device with single port is not installed.

                    I have given complaint several time but action is not taken. This shows that they are also same as other companies when it comes to customer support.

                    I can't wait more. If this is not resolved in few days, i will remove the neighbors connection from the device.

                        I am using act fibrenet since 3 years. However i ised to use in only mobile. Now i have connected it to my smart tv just 3 days back, i have seen abrupt usage in data without consuming much.in a 3 days, consumption went to 70 gb. We only wantch movies mostly for 3 to 6 hrs a day. But 70 gb in days is quite phenomenol. If we watch anything online then only it has to be computed in upload of data, without dowloading anything, i am getting alert that i have downloaded the data. Just yesterday, we watched one movie which it consumed around 3.37 gb as download and 1.7 gb as upload.

                        How data is computed is a big question on act fibrenet. I am really surprised to see that. Hope consumer forum will update the same to act fibrenet. My mobile no is [protected] through which i have registered act

                          I requested for new act fibernet connection. One of their executive came to my premises and charged me online payment for 6 months. (4000+ inr/)

                          The initial commitment was to setup new connection on same day.
                          No one has initiated the connection for 3 days. Due to my internet urgency, i explained the situation with customer service and requested for withdrawl and refund process.

                          Since one month, act fibernet is not initiating my refund amount and suffering the customers.

                          They just looted 4100/inr from new customer with false commitments through their marketing representatives.

I had very bad experience happend with Act Fiber Internet, Madinaguda branch. They couldn't able to setup connection as per their commiment and customer urgency. Refund process is to hectic and go for more than one month but no luck.

                          Thanks to Consumer Complaints forum. After logging the complaint, It got resolved immediately.

                          As a normal customer, i could not able to get back my refund amount from Act Fiber customer service.
                          Really appreciate Consumer complaints board.

                          So Sorry & Bitter experience with Act Fiber Internet, Madinaguda, Hyderabad. Your service is not to serve for the internet customers. It wastes time & money of customers. Just playing with customers time & money. There should be service commitment as promised with customer need.
                          I have disconnected from ACT fibernet. But i have cobtinuosly receving automatic calls, asking to reconnect. I do not want anything from ACT. They are harassing me

                            I logged in a ticket 8 days ago and it is still not addressed. Pranesh kulkarni ([protected]) - their representative reached my residence after calling them so many times and checked. He hit the hard reset twice on the router and checked. Later he says that the router is faulty because he could not rectify it. I spoke to his lead shaik irfan ([protected]) and he promised that he will send another router in an hour's time. Nor did he receive my calls after that nor has anyone come to resolve it. They even closed the ticket though i clearly mentioned to him not to close the ticket. This is hopeless customer service and now they expect me to replace the router at my own expense because they gave me a faulty router.

                              daily 5-6 automated calls from act for activation of connection

                              I have been receiving multiple calls on a daily basis from act and its automated calling system to activate the connection. Ive been with act fibernet for the last two years now and ive been facing regular disconnections, particularly during the morning time. I've raised several tickets during the course of the year, i also had technician coming and checking my place and concluded that problem was the switches and not at my place.
                              Yesterday again i got interruption around 10am. I raised a ticket again and it got solved on its own, like it always does. However the internet usage of abt 7 gb was shown as exhausted by 12 am itself. This is not possible as i didn't do any heavy usage during those hours. I am sure you guys are putting anything u want to and showing it as usage. And this time i took notice of it! God knows how many times u people have done this to me and gotten away with it.
                              Also in the usage it is showing around 4 gb used at one time and repeated and double entries are made at the hours of 22:36 and 00:57, which u can see in the image that i have attached in this email. This is clearly an atrocity on the customers and a fraud in the name of service and coercion to extract and force the consumer to buy your flex data. U guys should be ashamed.
                              I request the concerned authorities to revoke the unjust and fake consumption of data, also i want disconnection and refund of the remaining amount of the package. This was truly the end of my bitter experience with u guys, i don't want to continue this crap. I want sumone from the hierarchy of top level supervisor/manager to look into this as i'm tired and sick of low level supervisors miserably failing to provide resolution to me. Act fibernet needs to straighten their act up!

                                I am act fibernet consumer and been using this connection for past 36 months
                                Recently i had a situation to shift to new place which is barely few streets away.
                                So i raised a ticket on customer care for shifting purpose and there were least response on the first hand and next very shocking fact is that the shifting amount they charge (600 rupee) on the customer is really very high.

                                Kindly reason out why do you charge such large amount on the customers and why on other hand when i have the modem in hand and when you just need to get me the connection alone on that locality and we pay monthly bill around that is bearable for us.
                                Keeping such extra pay load on us, i don't think it is appropriate.
                                If you really think that this amount is fair enough for the customers i expect a proper validation

                                  Hi,

                                  I was using act broadband for past two years or so. Recently i moved to a new place in bangalore (Whitefield to marathahalli). Act informed me that i will have to wait 7 days for a shifting of connection. I informed them i am not interest to shift rather cancel the connection as 7 days is not acceptable for me. Instead of proceeding with the process to cancel, they transferred my call to a 'tension team' where i spoke to an executive - shalini. She promised me that the connection will be transferred in two days and she is guarenteeing it from act side. So i did not request for a new connection from another service provider. The next day a team visited and they informed me that an second connection box needs to be installed for additional slots for which they will get permission from the owner. Also, they informed that the installation will be done on the next day itself. The next day nobody turned up and i contacted the same customer care executive. This time she asked for a day more and i accepted it with the condition that they will wave off my charges for the delay. Hours later she called me and informed that the connection needs to be cancelled and they cannot provide shifting to this location. Instead of all these drama, they could provide with a cancellation at the beginning itself, which would have saved my time and money. Act tension team is pathetic on resolving issues and rather they make sure more money is swindled from the customer by promising something that is not feasible.

                                  Try to avoid act as they do not care for the customer rather rely on the new people coming to bangalore to swindle more and more money. They never give any wave off for technical fault from their side lasting for a day or more, multiple times in a month. If you complain they make sure you will have more issues. Also, they speak to customer with no respect and try to get rid off customers who complain, by hook or crook. On exploring more i realized that i was paying around rs. 400 extra for the package i chose, in comparison with other service providers. So, i am happy that the connection is closed. Still, this kind of treatment of customers is unacceptable.

                                    As reliance telecom issues without dcoument like aadhar, pan, voter i'd. And address proofs etc.. So that frauds can use this sims makes fraudelent calls to the ordinary people and sending messages in the name of other companies like paytm etc... And cheating the ordinary people and this interrupt the digital india dream to go ahead. So don't allow the frauds to escape... As mobile no. No. Is the identity of a bank customer as well as in many financial activities of person. Consider this. This is a fraud mobile no.[protected]... Using this no. And sending messages to paytm customers. To ekyc and cheatings.. Theft identity
