I am using act fibrenet since 3 years. However i ised to use in only mobile. Now i have connected it to my smart tv just 3 days back, i have seen abrupt usage in data without consuming much.in a 3 days, consumption went to 70 gb. We only wantch movies mostly for 3 to 6 hrs a day. But 70 gb in days is quite phenomenol. If we watch anything online then only it has to be computed in upload of data, without dowloading anything, i am getting alert that i have downloaded the data. Just yesterday, we watched one movie which it consumed around 3.37 gb as download and 1.7 gb as upload.

How data is computed is a big question on act fibrenet. I am really surprised to see that. Hope consumer forum will update the same to act fibrenet. My mobile no is [protected] through which i have registered act

    I requested for new act fibernet connection. One of their executive came to my premises and charged me online payment for 6 months. (4000+ inr/)

    The initial commitment was to setup new connection on same day.
    No one has initiated the connection for 3 days. Due to my internet urgency, i explained the situation with customer service and requested for withdrawl and refund process.

    Since one month, act fibernet is not initiating my refund amount and suffering the customers.

    They just looted 4100/inr from new customer with false commitments through their marketing representatives.

    [Resolved] Many thanks to Consumer Complaints forum. After logging the complaint, Act Fiber Internet team refunded the ammount immediately. I had very bad experience happend with Act Fiber Internet, Madinaguda branch. They couldn't able to setup connection as per their commiment and customer urgency. Refund process is to hectic and go for more than one month but no luck.

    Thanks to Consumer Complaints forum. After logging the complaint, It got resolved immediately.

    As a normal customer, i could not able to get back my refund amount from Act Fiber customer service.
    Really appreciate Consumer complaints board.

    So Sorry & Bitter experience with Act Fiber Internet, Madinaguda, Hyderabad. Your service is not to serve for the internet customers. It wastes time & money of customers. Just playing with customers time & money. There should be service commitment as promised with customer need.
    I have disconnected from ACT fibernet. But i have cobtinuosly receving automatic calls, asking to reconnect. I do not want anything from ACT. They are harassing me

      I logged in a ticket 8 days ago and it is still not addressed. Pranesh kulkarni ([protected]) - their representative reached my residence after calling them so many times and checked. He hit the hard reset twice on the router and checked. Later he says that the router is faulty because he could not rectify it. I spoke to his lead shaik irfan ([protected]) and he promised that he will send another router in an hour's time. Nor did he receive my calls after that nor has anyone come to resolve it. They even closed the ticket though i clearly mentioned to him not to close the ticket. This is hopeless customer service and now they expect me to replace the router at my own expense because they gave me a faulty router.

        daily 5-6 automated calls from act for activation of connection

        I have been receiving multiple calls on a daily basis from act and its automated calling system to activate the connection. I did inform them multiple time that their service is not available in my area and asked them to remove my number from their database. Even after multiple time stating the same. They continued to call me so had to block their multiple numbers. Now i keep receiving calls from 10-15 new numbers every 2 days and worst of...

        Hello,
        My account number is :[protected]. Ive been with act fibernet for the last two years now and ive been facing regular disconnections, particularly during the morning time. I've raised several tickets during the course of the year, i also had technician coming and checking my place and concluded that problem was the switches and not at my place.
        Yesterday again i got interruption around 10am. I raised a ticket again and it got solved on its own, like it always does. However the internet usage of abt 7 gb was shown as exhausted by 12 am itself. This is not possible as i didn't do any heavy usage during those hours. I am sure you guys are putting anything u want to and showing it as usage. And this time i took notice of it! God knows how many times u people have done this to me and gotten away with it.
        Also in the usage it is showing around 4 gb used at one time and repeated and double entries are made at the hours of 22:36 and 00:57, which u can see in the image that i have attached in this email. This is clearly an atrocity on the customers and a fraud in the name of service and coercion to extract and force the consumer to buy your flex data. U guys should be ashamed.
        I request the concerned authorities to revoke the unjust and fake consumption of data, also i want disconnection and refund of the remaining amount of the package. This was truly the end of my bitter experience with u guys, i don't want to continue this crap. I want sumone from the hierarchy of top level supervisor/manager to look into this as i'm tired and sick of low level supervisors miserably failing to provide resolution to me. Act fibernet needs to straighten their act up!

          Hi

          I am act fibernet consumer and been using this connection for past 36 months
          Recently i had a situation to shift to new place which is barely few streets away.
          So i raised a ticket on customer care for shifting purpose and there were least response on the first hand and next very shocking fact is that the shifting amount they charge (600 rupee) on the customer is really very high.

          Kindly reason out why do you charge such large amount on the customers and why on other hand when i have the modem in hand and when you just need to get me the connection alone on that locality and we pay monthly bill around that is bearable for us.
          Keeping such extra pay load on us, i don't think it is appropriate.
          If you really think that this amount is fair enough for the customers i expect a proper validation

            Hi,

            I was using act broadband for past two years or so. Recently i moved to a new place in bangalore (Whitefield to marathahalli). Act informed me that i will have to wait 7 days for a shifting of connection. I informed them i am not interest to shift rather cancel the connection as 7 days is not acceptable for me. Instead of proceeding with the process to cancel, they transferred my call to a 'tension team' where i spoke to an executive - shalini. She promised me that the connection will be transferred in two days and she is guarenteeing it from act side. So i did not request for a new connection from another service provider. The next day a team visited and they informed me that an second connection box needs to be installed for additional slots for which they will get permission from the owner. Also, they informed that the installation will be done on the next day itself. The next day nobody turned up and i contacted the same customer care executive. This time she asked for a day more and i accepted it with the condition that they will wave off my charges for the delay. Hours later she called me and informed that the connection needs to be cancelled and they cannot provide shifting to this location. Instead of all these drama, they could provide with a cancellation at the beginning itself, which would have saved my time and money. Act tension team is pathetic on resolving issues and rather they make sure more money is swindled from the customer by promising something that is not feasible.

            Try to avoid act as they do not care for the customer rather rely on the new people coming to bangalore to swindle more and more money. They never give any wave off for technical fault from their side lasting for a day or more, multiple times in a month. If you complain they make sure you will have more issues. Also, they speak to customer with no respect and try to get rid off customers who complain, by hook or crook. On exploring more i realized that i was paying around rs. 400 extra for the package i chose, in comparison with other service providers. So, i am happy that the connection is closed. Still, this kind of treatment of customers is unacceptable.

                  I requested for disconnection many times and asked for the money back offer they offered (15 days money back) on the 6th day o[censored]sage of internet. I was informed that they would be sending the guy responsible. As they didnt send me one i again put up the complaint after a week. Was again informed that i would be getting the check in 15 days and will disconnect the internet service. But still now i havent got any response nor the internet is disconnected. I am using another connection, and hence this act broadband is not required at all. Now whenever i call the customer care, its busy all the time. Lol first time im finding customer care lines are busy this much. Must be they are receiving so many complaints.
                  Whatever, i want the internet to be disconnected and refund back the installation fee as i am not at all happy with the services.
                  Plz dont call me back again saying me to upgrade the plan cos i dont think it worths.

                    I had requested for a new internet connection and made a online payment of 7498 rupees on October 2nd. From the sales person team they told that there is no possibility of giving new connection in my residential area because there is an operator problem.

                    Trying to reach out to the customer care, via email, via Twitter and phone calls but no one is helping to get my amount refunded.ufortunately i am not getting any response to my emails and in twitter as well.

                    I'm frustrated with the ACT customer care people and they are not responding to refund my money and almost 24 days is completed.

                      I had registered a complaint on 23rd sept regarding removal of the box. They informed me it will be done in a week's time. I was then told to clear my previous dues because i want to disconnect the connection as well. I cleared my dues. Now they have reconnected and charged me when i have never even used their connection!
                      Act team is not responding and keep on delaying the request for disconnection. It has been more than a month now and they are cheating me telling i never requested to remove the junction box! It is connected to my flat which i am vacating.

                        Hi,

                        This is a very unprofessional services from act net. While giving connection representative (Ahmed +91-[protected]) followed like anything. After taking connection on 26-july, it got activated in 3 days and worked fine for 1 month.

                        We started suffering from september mid and raised complaint on 21-sept-19, complaint number assigned "sr[protected]".

                        Now it is more than a month that complaint registered but no issues, staff of act net is pathetic, no courtesy, attitude, rude.

                        As others mentioned, disconnection request already raised but they are not fixing the issue nor returning money. This is a worst company took services.

                        I want my money back, as in educational institution it is causing a great problem in my operations.

                            It’s very bad experience to me with the act fibernet company.

                            I took a new connection on friday (18/10/2019) exactly at 4:45 pm for the plan rs.1458/-, the sales executive told me the installation will be done in a day.

                            Saturday – i waited for the whole day nothing done form your end, not even a call or message, i called to the salesperson and informed him about the urgency that i am working from home.

                            He replied me the installation will be done on sunday.

                            Also, i raised a ticked by calling your customer service executive.

                            Sunday – around at 10 o clock again i called to the tollfree and reminded them, the executive informed me they already escalated the issue and it will be fixed by 5:00pm.

                            At 2 o clock 2 of the technicians came and said there is no box available nearby my house, is i am the responsible to check the box is available nearby my house or it is the responsible of your salesperson.

                            I informed the same to the sales guy and he spoke with someone and said the box is available he is goin to send other field technicians.

                            They came at 6 o clock after they connected the wire to my router and told me stand near by the router to check the lan light is blinking or not and they left my house promising they are configuring the box with in 15 min. I was literally standing infornt of router for 45min and called to the technicians 10 times no response, that means they made me fool.

                            You guys are playing with customer after taking money.

                            You don’t even have proper communication between any one of your teams.

                            Such a worst and bad experience and wasted my time like anything.

                            Finally, i called to the nodal officer ([protected]), she promised me that will be fixed by eod.

                            If it is not done, i want my money back by end of the day. I don’t want this headache anymore.

                              I am very sure that act broadband tampers with fup usage. I am the only user and have a package of 350 gb. It is impossible for me to use the entire amount. Today is the 21st and act says that my fup is exhausted. I checked my account, and it shows downloads as 180 gb and uploads at 170 gb!!!

                              It is impossible that i have uploaded this much data as i only sent emails and use whatsapp.

                                We have been facing many issues with beam act internet since 1 year and issue is getting resolved after 2 to 3 days of complaint. We have taken 6 months subscription and whenever we ask for disconnection and refund they are either disconnecting calls or telling some stories.

                                One of the worst part is we need to spend hours of hours to get our call connected to the customer care and also we need to call using our registered mobile no. Only.

                                We aer fed up with this service and hence request to take necessary action and provide justice users like us.

                                  I am fed up of act internet services. There is frequent internet disconnection and tried reaching their service care. They keep us waited for 15-20 mins. Once the executive picks the phone he transfers the call and then they disconnect the call. This happened always. They have a mobile number to register complaint but of no use. No response from them. Frustrated with their service. Big time cheating people

                                    The internet is not working since 5 days and no action is taken. This happens every month and still nothing is done by the incompetent people working for act.
                                    These people don't work on weekends. We are it professionals who need to work from home and because of act we lost so many days worth of money, time and energy.
                                    The app is not responsive and shows resolution date in the past. The customer care is pathetic. The nodal office people are also bunch of # sajala vasu and one babita.

                                      There was 2 days of delay in making payment (Instead of 10th, i made the payment on 12th october) as i was travelling.
                                      By this time my account had been suspended.
                                      From 13th october 2019 onwards i am calling the customer service at least twice a day and listen to the same story that we have received the payment and within 1-2 hours your account will get activated.
                                      After 7 days also my account is still suspended.
                                      I wonder how would act survive with such lousy service once jio fiber enters the market.
