shifting charges

Hello i am an existing customer of act fibernet. I am shifting my residence another apartment complex were they already have the feasibility and networking installed. Why do you charge for shifting in that case.? What is the logic behind this?

The charges the customer care said for this is rupee 650, while we already have the cables installed inside the house each room by the builder what is this cost for?...

I jave laid for 6 months services and for wifi router on 15 march and the sales person told the connection would be there in 2 days and now it's 21 march and till today there is no installation. They are really not doing anything. After i raised the complaint. They have automatically closed the sr and said problem. Resolved which i had to reopen again.

    Account no:[protected]. I am unable to use internet from 20 march 2020 10.30 a. M. Tried contacting customer support[protected], to my horror i was unable to contact n was getting response "this no is not reachable, message i received in local language" how can customer support no be not reachable?? Is it mobile no that some person is carrying?? I tried calling nodal desk,[protected], this no was busy for alteast 2 hrs!! This shows that nodal officer is nothing but a bloody joker!! I managed to raise a complaint, sr [protected], supposed to be resolved by 21 march 2020 11 a. M but now its 5 p, m no one even has bothered to call or update!! Act is a fraud company run by some jokers and customer support doesnt exists!! They cheat by saying they have 24*7 support, try calling on their no and u will wait atleast for 30 mins!! Not sure how they have managed to get such user base where everyone is having issues but act never responds!! Trai should ban this company else this will be yes bank of broadband for sure!! They will close down taking all customer money in advance!! When companies now are asking employees to work from home, act is showing up its poor quality of service!!

    No my grievance is not resolved unless I get working customer care no and due compensation paid for loss caused due to act broadband!! Internet not working for 5 days n I had to use mobile data, why should I pay for act broadband??

    If you are not fraud company give me working customer care no and explain me reason for fixing issue that u claimed will be fixed in 3hrs but took 5 days !!! I need the reason
    I have purchased a ACT broadband connection, well apart from the sweet sales talks nothing has been done. It's almost been 3 weeks and no response. The customer service is 24/7, if dialed the service operator is busy or dsnt connect. I've reached to salesperson with a different no but has no knowledge about his job, says the tech team has an issue.
    I've mailed the team, 2 weeks prior after cold calls with the salesperson with different no, mail from Vanitha. The ticket has been raised. No response post that. Went to the beach office at Indra Nagar, the security said it's closed and no employees but it was half shutter. Sat there, employees walking in and out. I spoke to one of the HR, smiled and said the team will call in 2 hrs. Well nothing. Nothing happens be prepared for court notice or jail time.

      I have contacted one o[censored]r employe mr narasima on 18th march regarding new connection he gave me one no named mr arun and narasima told me that he will call u but arun not me rather i called him on 19th march he said that narasima didn't tell me anything about ur connection again arun gave me one no named mr gopi and i called him he guide me upto payment and he promised me that our technical team will come to ur home by 9 and they ll finish the job but no one visit my home i have again tried to gopi he gave me another no mr bala ganesh i call him he said no one informed me about this new connection he commit me that technicians will come by 12 again no one visited i have tried to all the employees over 100 times no one is responding to my calls very very worst customer service i planned to go to my native by this morning tomorrow pan india strike how can i able to go to my native at this worst situation i want a immediate response else will raise a nodal complaint to against ur company

        I registered for the act fibernet connection and paid 3 months advance along with installation charge, i got my reference account number[protected].
        But even after 3 days, technician from act is not coming for the installation, he is trying to block our number and not responding to our calls.

        Everyday he is saying he will install and giving reasons like router is out of stock etc.

        I can provide his complete details of required.

          Hello,

          I initiated reconnection of my act connection (Account number[protected] this tuesday (17th march) and customer service is really horrible. First problem is - i can't reach customer service, second problem is i get a call from them when i send an email asking if the problem is resolved and when i say it is not resolved they promise action and nothing happens.

          Yesterday morning i made payment of 7k (6 months + 1 month free plan) thinking that may be the reason, but till now the connection hasn't been restored and i don't know what is the action plan.

          Due to covid - we are all compelled to work from home and i don't know if i can wait any longer as internet connection is very much necessary for my work.

          I request act to either close my account and refund the amount i have paid or ensure my connection is resumed and everything resolved by 21st march.

          Unfortunately the resolution was only temporary. Within a few days o[censored]sage, the Owner of the building where ACT has put the box (Fiber to LAN box) has cut all the LAN cables and My connection is disconnected for last 4-5 days. This is really frustrating and I dont know why I am sticking behind ACT despite all the poor customer service. Kindly look into this and fix this ASAP as in COVID situation work from home is becoming difficult due to inconsistency in internet connectivity. Account number is[protected]

            I've made payment on sat 14th mar 2020 for internet connection, nobody even came for installation yet. I've called your customer care dept, one of act representative explained its escalated to higher level. I don't understand even after escalating this issue nobody takes care of it! So pathetic!, its already been a week still have not received connection from act side.

              Act bangalore has offered to increase the bandwidth and datalimit of my current plan if i pay 6 month bill in advance. I made the payment and plan was not changed. I made many calls to customer care and they assured plan will change. After many months, plan is not yet changed. I need plan upgrade and compensation for the missed bandwidth and datalimit from october 2019

                I have been following up so many times with your customer care team to arrange for router pick up. Nobody has arrived till now and I am just tired of raising this issue again and again.

                It has almost been a month now since I raised this request.
                Attaching the message which I got from your team on 18th February 2020. Below in trail is the email which was sent to me for disconnection later.

                Due to you operation team's inefficiency, my money has not been refunded till now as the router has been not picked up. They are forcing the consequences on then customer when the fault is entirely their team's.

                Escalating this to consumer forum.

                  My username is kalpana.[protected]@gmail.com. Last year in the month of february i requested for reconnection and paid 675 rs. One person attached a cable and left. When i checked i was unable to connect to internet. I have reached customer care 40-50 times to request for refund. But they didn't refund my money but lagged the issue unless until the complete one month is covered. According to them it was activated and hence it is charged 675 and there was 0 data used because i was not able to connect. This was the worst. Nobody turned to check the connection issue. Later i gave up on money. This is completely ridiculous and very frustrating. When we pay money for connection then they should address our issue or refund the money as requested so that we can go for other option.

                    Hi,

                    I have purchased the internet plan for 6 months and it was ended on jan 28th, 2020. After that act was activated some plan and asking us to pay the whole month bill and we never know there are some services or pack activated.
                    They have disconnected the internet within a week from their activated and we have to pay whole month of bill.
                    Now they are arguing and harassing by calling every day to pay the bill else they will send a recovery agent to our home to collect it.

                      I had the nightmare of my life by subscribing to the act broadband were in the first place the internet was not properly configured to work with vpn so i initiated a cancel request and after 2 days of continuous calls with customer support a person came to my home to fix the technical issue after which the team even without reconfirming went ahead and canceled the subscription were when we call back there was no proper response

                        On 20-feb-2020, i asked them to cancel the connection and refund my money. I asked them to cancel the connection is because they were not able to do the installation to my home. By the time of taking money from me, the sales guy (Manoj) told me that, if in case they are not able to do the installation they will refund me the entire amount.

                        After i raised the request for cancellation on march-03-2020 till date 16th march-2020 i have not got any calls from them. When ever i call to customer care on this they are promising i will get a call within 24hrs from back end team and resolve the issue. It has been more than 10 times i called them but still there was no response from them. I even provided them the account details and mailed the issue till date there was no response from them

                        I wanted to check the status of my refund. I sent email but not updates from that as well.

                          I called in act customer care to infrom them about my frequently disconnecting internet. On march 15 2020 1:00pm the link swithch for my connection got disconnected and the similar issue happened on february 29th 2020 and it got fixed after 4 days. I called act cs on 15th march 2020 to inform them about this re occurring issue. They promised me resolution by 15th march 2020 6pm. And they even promised me a call back, which did not happen, i called up cs after 6pm they informed me that the issue will get resolved in 4hrs. I tried reaching out to them after 4hrs. They said they are trying to review the issue and it will get fixed by monday 11am. Now it is 12:35pm monday 16th march 2020. There is no call back from any one and there is no update about issue resolution.

                              I have made multiple complaints multiple times of the issue but they say the same thing again and again, that it will get resolved in 24 hours. It doesn't happen at all. After 48 hours it starts working suddenly for 2 hours and then again the same issue. It's been more than 10 days and it's not working. They are shameless and refusing to solve the issue. If you call them after 24 hours they say another 24 hours. They are looting the customers and fooling around. I am a student with my exams nearby, ihave already paid money for 6 months. Request you to get my money refunded and the connection discontinued. My contact number is [protected]

                                Hi,

                                I am deeply saddened and annoyed by the act of act fibernet. They insisted me to take the service and forced me to pay the complete amount. Now, it is important for me to use the internet at home as i have to continue my service to the organization i work, based on govt. Of karnataka's shutdown order.
                                If you (Act fibernet) cannot provide service please refund my money so that i can get ther services from the genuine company in the market.
                                I would never recommend anyone to take their services at any cost. Pathetic people, service, company and their executives.

                                  I have asked for new installation on 7th march. One of its executives came to our place and collected money too saying that device installation would be done within 48 hours. It's been 8 days now device had not been installed yet. Whenever i call that representative he often doesn't lift the phone and if he lifts also would be saying that he would be coming within an hour and never showed up. I tried calling customer care too every says that we will look it as high priority issue and would be connecting to higher officials within 24 hrs even they didn't show up. If i face this negligent behavior while installation, can i expect quick response when we get an issue in future. My account id is[protected]

                                    ACT is one of the worst internet provider they have taken money from me on account of providing internet connection. I paid the money on 1st Mar 2020 and have been following up with them daily. Every time they promise to return the call in 24 hours multiple days have passed still no one called to process the refund. No internet connection for 3 weeks now and no refund.

                                      I paid 1000rs amount for reconnection on 19th feb 2020 but shifting and internet connectivity not yet done upto 4th march due to this delay i raised refund request sr[protected] but regarding this refund process i didn't get any call and further updates from act refund team, please start this process asap.

                                      I received a link to my mobile to enter bank details but if i enter otp along with bank details i got error message saying that "otp has expired, please try later even if it try multiple times also.
