I am using ACT from past one month. Facing internet connectivity issue. Horrible customer service. If we call customer care nobody receive the call. Lodge complain through app, got message ur complain registered but no enquires received from them. Got message saying it will be resolved in 3 working days. What should we do for 3 days. Such an horrible service.

Act has swiped 1085 from my credit card without my authorization.
Without me entering PIN or OTP on this transaction, how did this go through.
This is a serious breaching of security on my credit card.

    I am really disspointed and annoyed with the pathetic services of act fibernet. Every 6 months my bill is increasing and when raised concerns and raised complaints, every ticket is closed without proper redressal. They added some movie buff expense which i didnt subscribe and assured me reversal but till date, they are not bothered to address my issue. Even after requesting for deactivation, 3 weeks have gone and iam still left in the dark. This nov month more than 7 times myconnection is been down

      I do not want to continue with ACT broadband. It is one of the worst broadband services i have come across. I got the connect on 26-Nov and the issue started on 27-Nov 2018. Just one day after installation. It has been 8 days now !! neither the issue is resolved nor the customer care responds. Have been spending 1 hour everyday just to get through to customer care. I want to disconnect this broadband connection now and want the refund immediately !!

        I have raised a request for shifting my connection to new location on Friday (30.10.2018). They told it will be done in maximum 48 hrs. Its already 3 days elapsed. No technician from my new locality called to carry the I'd proofs. I called customer care 8 times. Still they are promising saying its in high priority etc. But no progress.
        .
        If they don't want to give, then please make it clear so that I can switch to some other ISO. But please don't waste my time in hanging on things. You will loose your own credibility.

          I am writing the following email again and this time escalating, since nobody from the ACT team has even bothered to reply/acknowledge the first one that I sent 6 days back to helpdesk.[protected]@actcorp.in. And another mail written to nodal officer and appellate authority 4 days ago.

          Here are my account details:

          And the following is my concern.

          A month or so back I came home to find that my internet was't working. When I registered a complaint, I was informed that apparently there is some box that the landlord had asked to remove also housed my connection.

          Upon discussion with the customer care team I was told:
          - that your team would put up a box, that will draw power from my house
          - that under no circumstances would any power be taken from my house to support other houses
          - that because of the box, there might be a slight change in my monthly electricity bill
          - that I should not worry, as the spike in the bill shall be not be a lot and be easily taken care of through a monthly compensation for Rs. 50 from ACT Fibernet

          Here is a screenshot of my regular electricity bills

          As you can see above, my bills are consistently under Rs. 250 (or even lower when I am out of town).

          Since, I installed the box last month(October), the bill went upto 303 and this month, and now in November my bill has now shot upto 454!

          THIS IS BEYOND THE DISCUSSED/SUGGESTED/EXPECTED SPIKE, AND I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY COMPENSATION FROM YOUR SIDE FOR THIS!

          I need to be compensated for the spike above the average amount (anything more than Rs.250 ) every month, or otherwise this is a plain loot from your end.

          If this is how your team works, I will make sure that the connection is only switched on, when I am home, and let your other connections suffer as they may. If not resolved, I shall also escalate this in consumer court- this is consumer fraud in plain sight!

          I have been a customer for the last 3 years without any issues, but this is an utter apathy that I am seeing from your end. I need this resolved urgently.

            Act is very worst in service. Every month they will distrupt the service. This november, close to 10 days i was not having internet. If so, why should i pay them. I can't blame the customer service it's their job to keep the customer at confidence. Both nodal and appellate team are worst. Even after informing them they are not ready to serve with high priority. Act has a common language when they are any issues ' it will be done by today'. They will close the ticket with out resolving the problem. I guess act will know the customer pain only when other providers push him down.

            They don't even respond back. Worst to go. Planning to disconnect the service and jump to some other providers

            Hi, I don't think it will be very value add. I know you will be still not be able to resolve my problem. That's fine. Even the board requested not to discolse any thing personal in this forum. I can't trust you people anymore. I went till Appellate, still not resolved.

            All finally you will make this thread a resolved one.

            Check your database for my name and I have added my details regarding my city and pincode too. I guess, this should help in fetching my details.

            Always customer is important. You will surely loose customers at one point in time and will start thinking. World is changing... Thanks for taking time and sending reply

              Hi,

              I am using act fiber net in Bangalore from last 7 years. Recently i choose to close the internet connection and requested to closed in month of July 2018. They closed the connection in the month of Aug 2018.

              Now again they are continuously sending messages and asking for reconnecting with free of cost for installation and for 15 days internet free and waived off of my previous due which is Rs. 169. Because of that i asked them for re connection. I have requested them for connection on 15th Nov 2018. there employees came and give me the connection on 17th Nov 2018. From there on words problems started. they just connected wire and not checked it is working or not.

              So for that i have raised ticket to check the inter net connection. But with out solving ticket they closed the ticket. This is the ticket No. : SR[protected]

              Finally after reopening ticket more than 10 times, they came to my home and changed some thing, then internet started working from 26th nov 2018..

              Again problem started with customer care people, they are continuously calling and asking me to pay the due amount which is Rs. 573. I did not understand what is this amount is for. I have raised one more request for this. They are not checking my history and they are calculated bill from 15th Nov. which they should give it for free as they promised for 15 days internet free for reconnecting.

              For this i have reopened the ticket( SR[protected] times. with out resolving they are closing the ticket. To reopen the ticket i have to send SMS for this they wasted my Rs.10.

              Finally I have reopened the ticket, waiting for their reply.

                On 24th of nov 2018 my data limit was completed.. Internet speed came to 412kpbs sometimes 42kpbs.. Unable to do work from home.. When i calld them they suggested to reset fup. Which cost 266rs for just 25gb. So took that because i don't had any other option. But don't know how it completed in 2 dys again my internet speed came to 42kpbs. I am planning to quit act plan this is second time it happend to me.. Just for small amount of data they charging to much money which is not covering 1 week also

                  Customer care service is very bad in hyderabad

                      Hi,

                      It's been 2 months that we are trying to reach you people out. Placed a refund request against my connection and was assured it would be resolved in 15 days. I don't have count how many number of times me and my wife have called on your customer care, but each time we got same answer "yes, sure sir it will be resolved by tomorrow".. That tomorrow never came.

                      Now today when i again inquire at your customer care, for that you people are saying we won't gave you money back since it's a issue hub not available, junction box not available, port not available etc etc.

                      So can you people tell us:

                      - is it our mistake that your hub, junction box doesn't have port available
                      - is it our mistake that we took 6 months advance plan and wasted our money
                      - this time at least 4-5 times it happened that your service engineer called us and said i am on way and please guide me to location and after 15 min they will say we can't come today. Is it our problem?
                      - at last what we are hearing it today, hub issue.. No port is available.. Seriously means you people have wasted my 10 days and now also same. No improvements!

                      When asked your customer care to raise a refund request, 1 person act has no policy to refund money, other person says act will refund money as you have made 6 months payment in advance. I mean seriously is this how your customer care frustrates a customer.

                      You being the nodal officer, i hope you posses some power and authority to clean up this mess that is going around in act. Get my money refund me the amount pending against my connection.

                        Tried taking Act FiberNet connection in Bangalore, But after paying them the amount of Rs 2157/- they said the connection in my house is not possible.
                        Requested for the refund but they said to wait 15 days for the refund.
                        Even after waiting for 15 days no response.
                        Every time whenever I call customer care, they say refund will happen after 3-5 days but it will not happen, and Iam waiting since 2 months but still refund not happened.

                        Very pathetic service. to take money they will work even on sundays but to give back our money they have there stupid process and all.

                        Please help me in getting my refund back.

                        Iam fed-up of talking with Act customer care several times. whenever I call, they say to wait for another 3-5 days and they are delaying it very much.

                          Hello sir/madam,
                          On 04-aug-2018 03:11pm, i applied for one new internet connection through act application and during this process act app asked for charges of rs.1458/- which is paid by paytm (Act order reference id is #20180804111212800110168186932728128).
                          After that i waited for 1 month and no wiring done. I called on their customer care number and raised many complaints with act for refund of money.
                          In the month of october '18 i applied for new connection which got installed at that time i asked their executive to adjust to adjust this rs.1458/- with my new connection payment but he refused and promised me that he will take this matter to senior level at act. He also made many calls in front of me to his team and to his senior and ensured me that money will be refunded in one-week time but this is also 1 month old story and neither he nor his senior is taking my calls and till date i did not receive my refund.
                          Finally, i request act to make a refund of rs. 1458/- and also request consumer complain board to ask act for this refund.

                            Most horrible Internet provider in town, for payment and doc collection the representative will call you 2000 times. Post that they don't even know that you exist. Its been 5 days and nobody has bothered to come and install whenever I call the 'great engineer squad' is unavailable.

                              Requested for shifting of connection.

                              Service person never visited. I have logged request many times but never attended by any act person. While taking connection they provided in 1 day and i have paid 5600 rupees for once time payment for 8 months and now they are not attending my request. I am harassed and lost almost 10days money by not using internet.

                              I have contacted the person who came for selling and he asked his engineer to work against the request number. But the service person is saying already visited and connection is ok. Whereas the reality is no one visited even. Act is making fool to his customers.

                              Despite paying all the dues and request for disconnection in the month of aug'2018.
                              Still i am receiving customer care calls for dues, since august
                              My login has also been blocked by ACT team, thus i cannot even raise complaint against using the ACT helpline

                                I am an act network user from chennai. I want to shift my connection. I was informed that the connection is feasible at the new location and also it will be done within a week. But there is no proper response in spite of calling the customer care n number of times and following up. Now that a week is over, they keep telling me, that my request will be prioritised and action will be done on the following day. I keep waiting for them but no one shows up.
                                Kindly solve this issue and do the needful.

                                  I have made the payment today, but my ACT account is still in suspended status and no is attending my call from ACT...and when I tried to open a case with ACT via the app, it is again asking me to make the payment . I have severe issues with ACT fibernet as they brock my cable connection last time while they were trying to fix another connection issue I had lodged.

                                    Hi team,

                                    My internet has been down since 5 days & is affecting my business greatly. I have been contacting your service number everyday and being provided false promise that the service will be up everyday. Here i am, frustrated & disappointed completely with act (Which is supposed to be a leader in internet service in india!)

                                    I need my issue to be taken care of on priority to avoid me applying for disconnection & taking a legal route against your company, besides creating so much bad reviews & ratings everywhere (Very easy for me since i run a digital marketing training institute)

                                      Dear act,
                                      I booked act 100mbps on 27th october user id :[protected]. Through your website on the same day sales person mohan come and collected rs 8202 by cash and assured me within 4 days connection is given. After 4 days no one come or contacted me. I called sales person he never picked the call. I called customer care they now saying no fesibility is there in your area. So i asked for refund. They assure me you will get mail asking ur bank details within two days after which it takes 12 days to refund. I never get that mail. I called cust care for more than 16 times they all like a tape telling same story again & again. I raised tickets many times ticket no: [protected], [protected]... They all are closed without resolving.

                                      At first i am very happy when i'm booked now i feel very disappointed & lost trust in act.

                                      It's been 27 days i still don't get my refund. Please refund my money.

                                        Sir, i had a new connection ur people came and installed it but instead o[censored]sing s new wire what they done is they used my wire of d2h connection but now after installation when we on our tv the picture quality was black and white after several complaints to act customer care each time different people came and inspected my tv and finally they told me that there is a problem in the tv and i got checked by the technique but the tv was good. The technique also dorgged me saying that the mother board is gone and charged me after repairing again it was the same problem then the act people said that they refund my amount not yet being done apart from that they have also destroyed my d2h dish receiver
