They took money from us on 13th february and it's 19th february today. No one has reached out to us for providing internet connection. Everyday we are following up and no one is responding to our queries. It's just getting delayed day by day.
We are following up with them everyday and everyday they're asking for 24 hours and next time 48 hours. This has been an ongoing issue and we're facing lot of issues.

    I registered in act for having new connection for 6 months. I paid the money and the sale guy name" Santosh' said tomorrow they are going to do installation. But from that time when he took money, he switched off his phone and technicians came and told me that there is box here. The guy has blocked my number later. This is service of Act. They cheated people by having false promises and we suffer a lot. Now what should I do I don't know. Calling helpline number is also blocked.

      My name is Harish Kumar Nair and I am forced to write this complaint after repeated attempts to get my ACT broadband connection deactivated. The customer service I experienced in the last few months have been a nightmare to say the least and nothing short of harassment. It all started when i placed a service request on 2nd Jan, 2018 for deactivation/suspension of my internet connection as I was relocating to a new area within the city. I did not want to pay the relocation charges so i decided to forego the existing connection and take a new one at my new residence. I was told that they will take action within 48 hours on this service request, but that was the start of the nightmare. After this i received multiple SMSs saying that the service request has been closed, but I kept seeing that my internet account[protected] was still active. I kept following up with the customer care team and they would raise a fresh service request each time (SR[protected], SR[protected], SR[protected] and kept giving me the same response that they will take action, however nothing seemed to be happening on the ground. I told them that for their delay in disconnecting the connection, I will not pay any money for services that I did not use and they told me that I am not supposed to pay anything.

      After this, on Jan 29th, 2019, I get an SMS saying that my Fibernet service has been deactivated due to moving from existing address and that the invoice amount and due amount is Rs 0 (please see attached). I thought finally the matter is closed, but to my surprise I get another SMS on 3rd Feb, 2019 saying that my Feb month bill has been generated and the due amount is Rs 1279.39 (again can be seen in the screenshot). I again called up the customer care and registered a strong protest and they once again took a fresh service request (SR[protected] and again repeated the same usual response that they will get this sorted out and I can ignore the SMS. After this the service request gets closed on 4th Feb, 2019 but i still find my old account active and this continues for some more time and in spite of following more than 10 times I still did not see any satisfactory action on my service requests. Now to my shock, I receive a message on 8th Feb, 2019, that the bill amount of 1279 Rs will be processed as per the standing instruction i have issued when i never issued any standing instruction. I immediately called the customer care once again and this time the executive told me that they will proceed with disconnection and I will not be charged anything and I can ignore that message since it's a system-generated message. After going through so much, I did not believe a single word they said and kept wondering what if I have my card details saved on their app and they charge it without my authorization and to my horror it happened today, Feb 14th, 2019.

      To describe it as fraud and extortion would be an understatement as they have no right to debit this amount using saved details of my card and call it standing instructions when none was issued to ACT by me at any given point in time. I did not expect ACT Fibernet to stoop down to this level when they are in the wrong from the very beginning and if this is the way they treat their customers then time has come to teach them a lesson. I am not going to stop until those who are responsible for this fraud are punished and fired and even if it means taking this to court and get TRAI/DoT to suspend ACT Fibernet's license. This extortion has to stop and people who are harassing customers like this have to be punished. I have all the evidences that prove that I had done my best to get my internet connection disconnected and had communicated the same well in advance. However, in spite of multiple service requests and especially after getting an SMS communication from ACT that there is 0 Rs due amount, I was fraudulently charged for the bill that was generated a month after the disconnection request was first raised. I am also going to send a copy of this complaint to the top management and CEO of ACT Fibernet so that they know what pathetic customer care service they have and how they are extorting money from customers in various ways. Moreover, this complaint will also be posted in all public forums so that everyone is aware what kind of customer service ACT provides and why it's time to call out this fraud loud and clear.

        This complaint is regarding my act fibernet connection with user phone number :[protected].
        I am facing network issues from last saturday. After many complaints they have rectified it on monday. With this issue i have lost a important meeting on sunday.
        Later from monday evening again i faced tis issue and after complaining they corrected on tuesday. Yesterday again the issue started popping up and today am with no internet. When the bill is due within few hours they add late fee payment and collected from me during december. But because of this issue my work hampered from 3 days and nobody is hearing me. Act support is too poor and they raise ticket and close as their wish without rectifying.
        I am writing this email with great grievance that atleast somebody will hear me and do the needful.

          I have been using act internet for the past 7 years and recently i had raised a request to move the junction box from the first floor to the second floor which is pending from more than 21 days, since the first floor owner tenants have moved out and the first floor owner has turned for the power to the junction box. The second floor is owned by a different owner and he is fine with the junction box being moved to the second floor.

          There have been several visits by technicians but they have not fixed anything. Moreover the recent visit by a technician who was very rude and asked me to go to a different service provider since he can't do anything for me. My several attempts to escalate the issue have fallen on deaf ears.

          Since i work remotely i rely on them heavily and this is how they treat their customers. I have been a regular paying customer and never had any issues with act until now but now i have seen the horrible face of customer care who are just unwilling to escalate this issue and allow me to talk to their superiors. When their website hasn't published any information about the escalation path. I hope this plea of mine will be addressed asap

          The technicians came in today and spoke to me about the misunderstanding that they had about the ownership of the second floor of the building I live in. After clarifying that different floors of the same building were owned by different people. They co-operated with me and were able to complete the task of shifting the junction box in no time. Just wanted to thank this forum and ACT for the prompt response shown to resolve this issue.

            The worst broadband service I have ever experienced in my life.I had paid rs 2900/- for new connection on 28/01/19 in mallampet area with id[protected] and today it has been 15 days, there has been no connection done. There are no response from their back-end team and am taking follow ups like a fool. I have raised complaint over helpline no with request no SR[protected], SR[protected], SR[protected].Refund was promised by the area manager, yet not received.

              I renewed my plan more than two months back and the amount payable is rs.5303. Unfortunately their app shows the total payable as rs.13123.80. I have been calling their call centre every second day and also sent them lot of emails asking them to correct the payable amount so that i can make the payment. Everytime i am assured that it shall be corrected within 24 hours but it has not happened till date. Now every second day i get a message from act that my connection shall be disconnected because of non payment of dues. This is pure harassment. The call centre guys have on clue what to do about this. And their billing dept has never called back except for once when i was assured of the problem being solved within 48hours but alas.

Secondly, despite my trouble ticket being open and my complaint pending on this forum you guys have the audacity to go ahead and cut my connection.

                Yesterday i had power outage in my house for 2 hours. And when the power arrived i was able to see the internet light red in color which ment there was no internet supply. I called the customer care team by 5 30pm and informed them. The guy said that the problem seems to be with the junction box and said he have raised a complaint regarding this issue. He also promised me that the issue will be resolved within 24hours. Then today noon i again made a call, since i work from home. A lady said that she has changed the priority level. They will visit asap. But still no one arrived.. This is the worst service.. I need to cancel it

                  I wanted to disconnect my act connection as i no longer need it. After receiving a call from them i paid my dues and requested for a cancellation. As soon as i paid my dues they reactivated my account after repeating them each and every time i don't need their service anymore. I am receiving bill and due messages.                     I have applied for new broadband connection on[protected] and shared appropriate documents and paid 6 months package. Sales guy committed for 2 days to installation as i requested next day but agreed as per his time. Twice got message from act for new connection installation team assigned and once got message dispute in payment. Later yesterday got message that assigned to installation team. Till now no one came or called for the same. When reached call centre they are telling that they are useless to call in polite way and again telling will resolve in 48 hrs. Also got update from them that documents verified and logged for installation on 6th of feb. Act sales guy has uploaded the documents on 1st but verification on 6th means what kind of process it is and i have applied for only broadband connection. If this is not taken care today else let them repay the money with compensation.

                      Again the issue reopened,

                      Initially after removing the box the connection was disconnected and the wire was cut.

                      Later they called for re-connection and i told yes, i also mentioned about the wire. They told to make payment and the connection will be fixed. After few days technician called me and told that the box distance too far so the connection cannot be given and request for refund. I called customer care for refund they told first to raise request for account suspension and then our account team will refund the amount. Account got suspended but never received the refund and my account is showing some due amount.

                      After few months customer care executive called me and gave me better offers. I requested for due amount weaver for re-connection and she told yes. My account got activated before the connection is fixed and the due amount was keep on adding but the internet never worked. I keep calling customer care and got fed up with them. They don't have call history and nobody response properly.

                      Now i asked to resolve my bill issue. They fixed my connection and they have added due amount without discussing with me regarding the plans and additional changes requested while re-connection.

                      Without resolving the issue they close the complaint and i need to reopen many times. After reopening 2-3 times i will not be able to reopen the issue.

                      I am fed up of calling there customer care again and again.

                      Please help me to resolve this issue. I will never go to act fibernet again in my life.

                        I thought taking internet connection from atria convergence technologies - act fibernet and paid them cheque of rs. 8, 206.00 which is been debited on 25th but no service so far. Whereas it was promised that connection would be done the day after cheque is given which is around 23rd or 24th feb. Since then i have been calling them everyday only to get a complaint number that's all. Cheque number is 407026 [sbi].
                        Tired with repeated calls i have raised cancellation request and full refund is expected as no installation or cabling was done. My mobile is [protected] which was registered with act.
                        Expecting early recovery of money paid.

                          I am filing a complaint against customer care services for harassing me to pay the bill for an account which is not mine. I am a resident of Bangalore.

                          For the last 2 months, I receive 6 calls daily (even on weekends) from Customer Care Services - all numbers beginning from 080 4611...
                          They call me and ask me to pay for a bill number that is not mine. Even after repeatedly filing complaints, raising tickets, complaining to team leads, informing nodal officers, I am still getting these calls. No amount of reassurances that I will not get the call again have worked. I still get these calls.
                          I am going to file a legal complaint if this is not addressed here.
                          I am also informing media houses of this harassment because I work in the media myself.

                            Act fibernet connections gets dead every 15 days. We can't rely on internet for taking work from home or any online exams. I had booked exam slots and internet was down. The history repeats. Every time you need internet, it will be down. And when you don't need it will be working fine.
                            Fed up of calling service agents. The call takes minimum 2 hours to be picked up. Then they say issue will be resolved in 24 hours. That never comes. My last complaint took 3 days to be resolved inspite of regular calling them.
                            Don't ever try chat support, it's hopeless.
                            Fed up with these guys.
                            Every 15 days there is connectivity issue.

                              Hi,

                              I have been having a hard time with movement of the junction box from my premises. They changed the wires in august/september and post that my electricity bill has shot up by inr 300 and more. I have raised a complaint (Sr[protected] back in november to shift the junction box from my house. This has not been done for more than 3 months now. I have tried calling their customer support multiple times and each time they say we have escalated to the team and buy 3 days but nothing happens. They silently close the ticket with out resolving the actual issue at hand. I have reopened this ticket multiple times but to no use, nothing has been done. They also created an internal ticket. (Sr[protected] as an escalation ticket but nothing has been done on it yet. I have had multiple calls with the customer care and i don't see any resolution to this issue. Also they are not crediting the junction box credit in a timely manner, they only do that when i remind them. I don't want this box but there is no way to get this given the limited escalation path. I tried reaching the nodal officer mr. G srinivasa r[protected] to no effect. This also has not worked. Can some one please help me here to get this expedited and resolved. I'm paying way more electricity bill for a service i don't need and being held ransom for this.

                              The ticket SR[protected] was closed again post the complaint, and no action taken, had to reopen this, now i cant see this ticket from my mobile and the ACT customer team is not letting me know the latest status. This is a classic case of holding customers for Ransom, they know i have a recurring annual subscription so i will not go anywhere and they can hold me ransom for this. Is there a way someone can help me here with this request.

                              Its been 3 weeks now, and nothing has happened. I'm still being held hostage for no reason. I have had calls and conversations with the Nodal officer and emails to the nodal officer where they say it has been escalated and it would be resolved soon and the very next day the ticket is closed. This has been happening since September, i have to keep calling the care center to get it reopened. Nothing seems to be working. Please help in this issue, is there a way we can give a formal consumer complaint against ACT? how do i get this resolved? It is very frustrating. I have been facing this issue since September and nothing has been done against this. Both these tickets (SR[protected] and (SR[protected] have been closed with out any resolution. And if you pull their history you will see the number of times it has been closed and reopened. Now they have removed it from the app itself so that i cannot track it or reopen it! Appreciate your help on this.

                                My previous contract with act was over by november 2018. I made the next payment (Around rs.14000+) by the end of dec 2018 for 18 months plan. So my current plan's validity extends till june 2020. However, act deactivated my services, stating that i have to pay rs.890 due. When enquiring their customer support, they claim it is because they provided services for me for 1 month between nov 2018 to dec 2018, which i was unaware of, and never used. Everytime i recieved sms reminders for payment, they asked me to only pay the amount for 18 months contract, and never mentioned about the payment for nov 2018 to dec 2018. So it is like:
                                1. They are charging me for something i never used (Nov 2018 to dec 2018)
                                2. They are not allowing me to use for the period that i have already paid for (Jan 2019 to jun 2020)
                                After raising several complaints to their support executives for the past 1 week, they keep saying they have raised the issue to billing team and they will respond within 48 hours, which never happened. Every time i call their executives, they activate the service temporarily (The turnaround time to activate takes about 4 hours), and then they deactivate in sometime, stating i have amount due to be paid. This is frustrating, and i not only need the reactivation of the services, but also a compensation for the harassment i'm going through, with extension of the days (After jun 2020) for whatever period my services were deactivated.
                                Act is unethical and treats their treatment to customers is unfair.

                                  I was using act since more than a year. Account id[protected]. Recently i shifted to a different apartment on 1st jan in the same area but act connection was not feasible there. So they told disconnection will be done and refund will be given after prorated deduction for 15 days. I had paid ~7100/- for next 6 months just 15 days (15th dec) before this shifting.
                                  Now i'm calling everyday but no customer care executive has given any info.

                                    I want to deactivate my new act account. I have paid the money on 13/1/2019 at 9.45 am. And the sales person mr. Vekatesh (Mobile number: [protected]) told that i will get my connection in an hour. So i waited for more than 3 hours and later contacted him but he wasn't picking my call and ignoring my calls. Then later he called and told i will get my connection by 5pm. And i waited till 9 pm and then the engineer came at 10pm. This is not how the service should be done and making the customer wait for a day by lying and ignoring the calls of customer. This is not how the customer is treated. Very bad experience and would never ever come or suggest this network to anyone. After the connection was done, the speed was very slow like 20mbps but my plan was 125 mbps. I told the engineer that time itself and he told he will come again tomorrow morning which is 14/1/2019. I called the next day and there is no response from the engineer as well. The sales person mr. Venkatesh still dint pick my calls after 50 calls. He is picking calls if i call from another number and then cutting my call. This is not how you treat anyone. Then later finally a engineer came at 7 and tried to solve the problem but unfortunately he dint help it and told he will do something about it and left. But i tried to call mr. Venkatesh and not attended my call and blocking my number. I don't want this kind of service in the start or in the future. So i don't want this network anymore. I want my money back as soon as possible. I will no longer wait for any engineer. The service is bad and i want to disconnect it and want my money back. If i don't see any initiative from your side then i will take severe action. My mobile number ([protected])

                                      1st of all i advise to all bangalore people please don't get connection form act internet. This service provide is make fake promises and not support to customers. Even sales person also not supportive.

                                      This is arjun from bangalore (Mo. [protected]). I had applied for a new connection on 10th jan 2019 by act and the executive person name jaykumar ("[protected]") told that i would get the connection within 48 hours. I still didnt got wiring done, i have been calling him, but he is not. Picking up the call and not answering on my messages/whatsapp (Jaykumar [protected]). I have raised ticket to customer care and they told me that i would connection within 24 hours. Since then i keep calling customer care daily regrading that... They always ask for 24 hours. I am still with no connection. I am feeling helpless as i need internet connection for my office purpose. They always say that they escalate the issue but i don't see difference and there is no communication also from that side if i don't call. I am feeling helpless in this situation. Please help me so that i can get the connection as fast as possible. This is a mental harassment. Please take some strict actions so that they won’t give trouble to other customers too.

                                        I ahve applied for a new connection on friday and as promised i was supposed to get the connection by saturday. A person came and fixed the wire but didn't do the setup. Person told me that he will be coming soon. And after that i have tried multiple calls, atleast 50, but no one is picking my call. After multiple calls i have mailed at nodalofficer. [protected]@actcorp.in but still no response. I have put a follo-up email but no response. I live in munnekolala bangalore.

                                        If the service is this bad i would rather get my activation money back.
