Internet connection is not working and inspite of raising so many complaints, they keep closing and reopening a new complaint, but have not resolved the issue for weeks now.
Everytime you call the customer support, they say they have raised a complaint, and will be resolved in 24hrs, but after 24 hrs, someone calls and say, please check now and they close the complaint. But when checked and not working, we call back, they close the existing ticket and reopen a new ticket and say 24hrs again. This circle continues, but no one ever visits house nor resolve the issue.

    getting bills for prepaid connections even after disconnection and settlement

    Hi,

    I am really fed up that i came across act corp. I took a prepaid connection last year, once the connection got expired i was getting calls to pay arrears for using your connection past the prepaid time and you customer care personals were very rude and not giving proper reason for arrears i have to pay. Then any how they tortured me everyday by calling and pay the arrears and i payed and settled by paying around 1000/-...

    not responding to my disconnection request

    I sent a request to disconnect my connection on 13th february 2019 (I wanted to stop my services by 28th feb). So they asked me to send a mail two days before the day i wanted my services to be stopped and promised that the services will be stopped within 24 hours of receiving the email. So i sent the another mail on 26th february 2019. But they didn't disconnect and now i have been billed for the month of march....

    I have requested act fiber (Bangalore) for new connection (On 1st feb 2019 for 6 month plan rs 8406). After completing all the document process, they didn't reach out us for the installation. Even though ups and all other settings were available at my building. So, after 5 (4th feb 2019) days we request to refund the amount and they confirmed that they started refund but till now (28 feb 2019) they didn't refund the amount.

      I am using act cable network, which they have subsidised to local operator named v. M cable services for my area. As per the latest trai regulations, i asked them the list of channels to select. They have been delaying since one month and not attending the calls of late. At last i caught one of the local agents of the agency and confronted them. He called his manager and asked me to talk. He says i need to pay the bill for the month or discontinue cable services. I asked him to take his dth box return my money, he said he would not do that and asked me to do whatever i can.

        Since 25 february there is no access to internet, contacted and filed complaint, they were marking it as resolved without actually resolving the problem. I[censored]nable to resolve the issue please refund the money back. Today one of act employee called me and asking to pay rs.2200 for resolving the issue.           Dear fibernet,

          The worst operator i have seen in internet provider. My account no.[protected]. I have allowed the act fibernet to keep connection box in my home. I have asked shifting of installation box as the power is connected to electricity meter border, keb people may come and disconnect that anytime. I raised the complaint on 14th february 2017, and following up in calls still no one has turned up. The ticket no is sr[protected]. My neighbor disconnected their power because there were not giving a discount for the power supply and went to a different vendor

            Seriously i can't believe anyone can do like this...
            These guys are cheaters, i put a new connection request on 7th feb on d same day i got so many calls from them, the next day sales guys came he took the money n collect d documents and told within 3 days u will get the connection now i m calling to the customer care like anything but no proper response, they have only one sentence it will resolve today that's it... Please close ur company i[censored] guys are unavailable to give the service to the customer...

              I have raised an issue to shift the outer box to another place of my house since they kept it in front the house and we are finding difficulty while crossing the house also.. Another request is to change the router since the bandwidth of the existing router is very bad. I have raised multiple service request using phones as well as email and no one responded back till now.

                1. During the month of october and early november 2018, i had frequent breakdown of the internet connection. I was told that one of the houses at which a router was placed did not have an inverter and frequent power shut downs meant the router was failing. I offered to have the router placed in my house. No action was taken by the concerned officials.

                2. I was leaving on 13th nov 2018 for a two month stay in the us and made repeated requests for keeping my account in suspended mode till my return. No acknowledgement of my requests was ever received by me.

                3. On 14th jan 2019, a few days before my return, i paid an amount of rs 2500/- and requested for activation of my account. I had to make repeated calls on 17th jan after my return to india to get the activation done.

                4. Between 17th jan and 31st jan, i had connectivity for only 3 days. Repeated calls/ mails did not produce any results.

                5. On 31st jan i requested for disconnection and refund of the amount of rs 2500/- paid by me since i had had next to no connectivity from 17th to 31st and was totally frustrated. Only after follow up did i get a response on 10th feb, that my account had been disconnected.

                6. Again after much follow up, i received a refund of rs 1050 on 15th feb as against my demand for full refund.

                7.in between i have been harassed with calls asking me to make a payment. I don't know what payment i am supposed to make when i am demanding a refund.

                I need the balance of rs 1450 refunded to me and calls asking for payment and harassing me to stop.

                  I have submitted a relocation request 10 days ago, still there is no response from these people, every time i call them they have the same answer that we are looking into it. I don’t know what to do and where to complaint about this. They keep on escalating the issue every day with no resolution on the matter whatsoever. What can we do as paying customers when services promised are not delivered. This is so frustrating and pathetic that i’m begging them for a connection that i’ve payed for.

                  Please take serious action against this cheater. I took the connection in Jan 2019 and this is the 3rd downtime since then. each time is downtime is more than 24 hours.

                  Details about the first complaint.

                  1) The port was disabled.
                  I had opened ticket with them and it took more than 6 hours to get connected to a nodal officer. and it took another 4 hours to get the engineer visit. when he came in, after physical inspection, he said he cannot do anything. and wanted to check with backend team. they jsut enabled it after 1 hours. so for a simple port enable, they took more than 10 hours? justifiable?

                  2) The OFC cut,
                  They said, the Fiber cable is cut at some location and the connection was down for more than a day.

                  3) WiFi router does not show network port activity:
                  this time they give altogether a different story. the copper cable is damaged. Their technician could not go the hose where their junction box is kept. is this justifiable? how do you keep the box at isolated location? if you cannot reach the junction box for the next one week? my connection will be down until then? still i need to pay for that??

                  Horrible and terrible. never approach these guys for connection

                    They took money from us on 13th february and it's 19th february today. No one has reached out to us for providing internet connection. Everyday we are following up and no one is responding to our queries. It's just getting delayed day by day.
                    We are following up with them everyday and everyday they're asking for 24 hours and next time 48 hours. This has been an ongoing issue and we're facing lot of issues.

                      I registered in act for having new connection for 6 months. I paid the money and the sale guy name" Santosh' said tomorrow they are going to do installation. But from that time when he took money, he switched off his phone and technicians came and told me that there is box here. The guy has blocked my number later. This is service of Act. They cheated people by having false promises and we suffer a lot. Now what should I do I don't know. Calling helpline number is also blocked.

                        My name is Harish Kumar Nair and I am forced to write this complaint after repeated attempts to get my ACT broadband connection deactivated. The customer service I experienced in the last few months have been a nightmare to say the least and nothing short of harassment. It all started when i placed a service request on 2nd Jan, 2018 for deactivation/suspension of my internet connection as I was relocating to a new area within the city. I did not want to pay the relocation charges so i decided to forego the existing connection and take a new one at my new residence. I was told that they will take action within 48 hours on this service request, but that was the start of the nightmare. After this i received multiple SMSs saying that the service request has been closed, but I kept seeing that my internet account[protected] was still active. I kept following up with the customer care team and they would raise a fresh service request each time (SR[protected], SR[protected], SR[protected] and kept giving me the same response that they will take action, however nothing seemed to be happening on the ground. I told them that for their delay in disconnecting the connection, I will not pay any money for services that I did not use and they told me that I am not supposed to pay anything.

                        After this, on Jan 29th, 2019, I get an SMS saying that my Fibernet service has been deactivated due to moving from existing address and that the invoice amount and due amount is Rs 0 (please see attached). I thought finally the matter is closed, but to my surprise I get another SMS on 3rd Feb, 2019 saying that my Feb month bill has been generated and the due amount is Rs 1279.39 (again can be seen in the screenshot). I again called up the customer care and registered a strong protest and they once again took a fresh service request (SR[protected] and again repeated the same usual response that they will get this sorted out and I can ignore the SMS. After this the service request gets closed on 4th Feb, 2019 but i still find my old account active and this continues for some more time and in spite of following more than 10 times I still did not see any satisfactory action on my service requests. Now to my shock, I receive a message on 8th Feb, 2019, that the bill amount of 1279 Rs will be processed as per the standing instruction i have issued when i never issued any standing instruction. I immediately called the customer care once again and this time the executive told me that they will proceed with disconnection and I will not be charged anything and I can ignore that message since it's a system-generated message. After going through so much, I did not believe a single word they said and kept wondering what if I have my card details saved on their app and they charge it without my authorization and to my horror it happened today, Feb 14th, 2019.

                        To describe it as fraud and extortion would be an understatement as they have no right to debit this amount using saved details of my card and call it standing instructions when none was issued to ACT by me at any given point in time. I did not expect ACT Fibernet to stoop down to this level when they are in the wrong from the very beginning and if this is the way they treat their customers then time has come to teach them a lesson. I am not going to stop until those who are responsible for this fraud are punished and fired and even if it means taking this to court and get TRAI/DoT to suspend ACT Fibernet's license. This extortion has to stop and people who are harassing customers like this have to be punished. I have all the evidences that prove that I had done my best to get my internet connection disconnected and had communicated the same well in advance. However, in spite of multiple service requests and especially after getting an SMS communication from ACT that there is 0 Rs due amount, I was fraudulently charged for the bill that was generated a month after the disconnection request was first raised. I am also going to send a copy of this complaint to the top management and CEO of ACT Fibernet so that they know what pathetic customer care service they have and how they are extorting money from customers in various ways. Moreover, this complaint will also be posted in all public forums so that everyone is aware what kind of customer service ACT provides and why it's time to call out this fraud loud and clear.

                          This complaint is regarding my act fibernet connection with user phone number :[protected].
                          I am facing network issues from last saturday. After many complaints they have rectified it on monday. With this issue i have lost a important meeting on sunday.
                          Later from monday evening again i faced tis issue and after complaining they corrected on tuesday. Yesterday again the issue started popping up and today am with no internet. When the bill is due within few hours they add late fee payment and collected from me during december. But because of this issue my work hampered from 3 days and nobody is hearing me. Act support is too poor and they raise ticket and close as their wish without rectifying.
                          I am writing this email with great grievance that atleast somebody will hear me and do the needful.

                            I have been using act internet for the past 7 years and recently i had raised a request to move the junction box from the first floor to the second floor which is pending from more than 21 days, since the first floor owner tenants have moved out and the first floor owner has turned for the power to the junction box. The second floor is owned by a different owner and he is fine with the junction box being moved to the second floor.

                            There have been several visits by technicians but they have not fixed anything. Moreover the recent visit by a technician who was very rude and asked me to go to a different service provider since he can't do anything for me. My several attempts to escalate the issue have fallen on deaf ears.

                            Since i work remotely i rely on them heavily and this is how they treat their customers. I have been a regular paying customer and never had any issues with act until now but now i have seen the horrible face of customer care who are just unwilling to escalate this issue and allow me to talk to their superiors. When their website hasn't published any information about the escalation path. I hope this plea of mine will be addressed asap

                            The technicians came in today and spoke to me about the misunderstanding that they had about the ownership of the second floor of the building I live in. After clarifying that different floors of the same building were owned by different people. They co-operated with me and were able to complete the task of shifting the junction box in no time. Just wanted to thank this forum and ACT for the prompt response shown to resolve this issue.

                              The worst broadband service I have ever experienced in my life.I had paid rs 2900/- for new connection on 28/01/19 in mallampet area with id[protected] and today it has been 15 days, there has been no connection done. There are no response from their back-end team and am taking follow ups like a fool. I have raised complaint over helpline no with request no SR[protected], SR[protected], SR[protected].Refund was promised by the area manager, yet not received.

                                I renewed my plan more than two months back and the amount payable is rs.5303. Unfortunately their app shows the total payable as rs.13123.80. I have been calling their call centre every second day and also sent them lot of emails asking them to correct the payable amount so that i can make the payment. Everytime i am assured that it shall be corrected within 24 hours but it has not happened till date. Now every second day i get a message from act that my connection shall be disconnected because of non payment of dues. This is pure harassment. The call centre guys have on clue what to do about this. And their billing dept has never called back except for once when i was assured of the problem being solved within 48hours but alas.

First of all, no one has contacted me till now. Secondly, despite my trouble ticket being open and my complaint pending on this forum you guys have the audacity to go ahead and cut my connection.

                                  Yesterday i had power outage in my house for 2 hours. And when the power arrived i was able to see the internet light red in color which ment there was no internet supply. I called the customer care team by 5 30pm and informed them. The guy said that the problem seems to be with the junction box and said he have raised a complaint regarding this issue. He also promised me that the issue will be resolved within 24hours. Then today noon i again made a call, since i work from home. A lady said that she has changed the priority level. They will visit asap. But still no one arrived.. This is the worst service.. I need to cancel it

                                    I wanted to disconnect my act connection as i no longer need it. After receiving a call from them i paid my dues and requested for a cancellation. As soon as i paid my dues they reactivated my account after repeating them each and every time i don't need their service anymore. I am receiving bill and due messages.
