My previous contract with act was over by november 2018. I made the next payment (Around rs.14000+) by the end of dec 2018 for 18 months plan. So my current plan's validity extends till june 2020. However, act deactivated my services, stating that i have to pay rs.890 due. When enquiring their customer support, they claim it is because they provided services for me for 1 month between nov 2018 to dec 2018, which i was unaware of, and never used. Everytime i recieved sms reminders for payment, they asked me to only pay the amount for 18 months contract, and never mentioned about the payment for nov 2018 to dec 2018. So it is like:
1. They are charging me for something i never used (Nov 2018 to dec 2018)
2. They are not allowing me to use for the period that i have already paid for (Jan 2019 to jun 2020)
After raising several complaints to their support executives for the past 1 week, they keep saying they have raised the issue to billing team and they will respond within 48 hours, which never happened. Every time i call their executives, they activate the service temporarily (The turnaround time to activate takes about 4 hours), and then they deactivate in sometime, stating i have amount due to be paid. This is frustrating, and i not only need the reactivation of the services, but also a compensation for the harassment i'm going through, with extension of the days (After jun 2020) for whatever period my services were deactivated.
Act is unethical and treats their treatment to customers is unfair.
