To whomever it may concern, ACT Id[protected] Name - Kiran Kempaiah This has been a RECURRING issue from past 5-6 months and is still not resolved. We run a business here and the connection goes ON & OFF everytime or there will be NO CONNECTION for hours together due to which our official hours are wasted till the technician comes and resolves it. Regardless of we requesting for the BOX to place it in on our building, your company has failed to satisfy the customer. If this is the way you guys respond to us then we will have to discontinue your service and opt for HATHWAY which is supposed to be really good. Even though we have opted for ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION there is no importance given to our request whatsoever. If this issue is not taken seriously just discontinue your service and give us our cash back.     Account No. 870003 Company collected money without checking feasibility for new connection. After confirmation of non-feasibility (after 4 days), refund not effected. Company withheld public money unauthorisedly, immorally and illegally. Customers forced to spend their valuable time incur expenditures, face mental agony etc. to get their money back from the company. Several phone calls, personal visits to various offices/officers, mails to nodal officers/appellate authorities going in vain. Company giving least case for refund of public money on flimsy grounds quoting internal rules, procedures, cheque-signatory not available/out of station etc. further cheating the customer with phone calls. Postponing refund every time. “Collection of money from public at more than 100 Mbps speed and refund of public money at less than 0.0001 kbps.” Regards, Vishnu

          I have paid Rs.1241/- (Rs.550 for installation charges & Rs.691 towards internet subscription charges) on 11.02.2015 Bill No.321893 dt.11.02.2015, Invoice No.596215. Till 17.02.2015, I have made complaints against non-connection and every time they were promised that within 24 hours the issue will be resolved. But no body bothered to update me the status and when they are finally going to give me connection. Today I have sent a mail serving final notice. It is not the question of money. It is more to do with responsibility. Now they are giving me information that the box in my area is full and they are making alternative arrangements. Why can't they check their capacity before going for new connections. One Krishna gave his mobile No.[protected] for any help. It is always out of coverage area.

          I have paid Rs.1280- (Rs.550 for installation charges & Rs.730 towards internet subscription charges) on 21.04.2015 Till today i.e.24.04.2015, they have not activated my account . I have made complaint# 16684471 against non-connection and every time they were promised that within 24 hours the issue will be resolved But every time getting message that ticket was updated with current status .Almost i have called them 5 times like this . Finally Today i got call from customer care stating technician will be sent to your home and credentials will be sent through SMS ., but i didnt get any SMS .But i got SMS stating that my ticket was closed . Not sure how these people will close this case without fixing the issue .Just these people are not doing their job properly . It is not the question of money. Just they are playing with customer's time and observed that they are having zero responsibility towards their duty .

            Hi Beam, I have taken a new connection for my office on 06/01/2015, at madhapur. Charges explained to me by beam representative are Rs 1122 for monthly rental Rs 500 for installation which total comes upto Rs1672 /- its not the question of Rs 28/- which i have overpaid. its about customer service and response by you people. i have paid the person Rs 1700 /- on asking for change he intimated me that it will be reflecting in the beam account. when checked SOA of beam as they mail every new customer it reflects Rs 1672/-. as soon as seen i have raised a complaint regarding the same after checking online to beam customer support ([protected]) in the 1st week of FEB 2015. Ticket was closed with out calling back and responding to the query. on calling back regarding closer of the ticket the received a very rude answer regarding payment. As i am here with billing discrepancy how can i pay the amount. after speaking to agent answer received was i did not pick the call and asked me to send the bill copy to [protected]@beamtele.co.in. which i have sent and requested the team not to suspend my account as its a issue from beams end with getting clarification on the complaint raised as it is used for business purpose which would severely effect. but still beam has suspended my account and i am unable to connect to the internet. Now when called to customer care they are only concerned about the payment which to be done by me rather they are least bothered about the money which i have over paid. dont you think this is called cheating and misconduct of trust. i have a receipt which was given by your representative. Receipt no: 244414. which was scanned and mailed to [protected]@beamtele.co.in and [protected]@beamtele.co.in. After raising complaint on 15/02/2015 regarding no action taken on the ticket raised and suspended account. Supervisor from your company promised to resolve the issue with in 24hr from raise of the complaint. after 24hr i did not receive any call from any of your teams regarding it. Again i have called on 16/02/2015 regarding the issue. promised to get a call back from the back end team by 2:30pm same day. now the status is its still investigating it will take another 24hrs. does beam telecom has a office any where in hyderabad where i can come my self and show the proof of the same and resolve my issue by myself. as termed by you that we are lying at our end. can some one look into it and resolve else we have to look for another option and escalate the same where ever it is possible. my account no and details.               This has happened multiple times before, and i'm starting to question the actual reliability of ACT fibernet. Having a slower internet connection all the time is better than having a faster connection sometimes. I called customer service & was told the problem would resolve at 6 pm during both consecutive days. In fact, everytime i called (even previous connection failures in the past), i was given the same answer; "It will be resolved at XXX time". Not to my surprise, i was brushed off. I think it's probably because you think there's no competition for faster internet. So all the complaints are treated akin to toenail clippings. I think you should stop overestimating the loyalty of your clients. You may not be affected by 1 less customer, but hey if there's 1 thing i can do, it's to vent my frustration to the social media & online forums, & maybe reduce your customer by 2. Or maybe more? Hugs & Kisses, Ex-unhappy client.

                Sir, My Internet broadband connection was cut without prior notice. On Sunday(08/02/2015) night I had issue in connecting to Internet, I tried to call ACT customer care, but I got automated reply saying customer support is not available at that time. I registered a complaint with ACT next day ie on Monday(09/02/2015). I received a call from ACT representative on Tuesday(10/02/15) saying that the cable is crossing the power line and he has to transfer the issue to different department to rectify this. After this I don't get any response form ACT. I have done multiple calls to ACT customer care also visited ACT office in horamavu road, I got a multiple response 1) Cable is crossing power line, I have been using this connection for more than a year, I don't see any new power line laid around my place. 2) Switch is broken, there is not port for your connection 3) There is no permission to lay switch 4) There is no port for giving the connection 5) At ACT office, representative mention, it is the company policy not to lay cable crossing power line What ever is the reason, it should have informed and should have provided alternative solution before disconnection was made without my notice.                     Hi, I'm Ashwin. I subscribed for ACT on 9th Jan 2015. My documents was accepted on 11th Jan. The payment was accepted on 12th Jan. I was supposed to get the connection within 10 days as per the SMS I received from ACT Team. After a few days, an ACT electrician installed a distribution box at my home and told me that the technical team will connect the cables to your workstation. The technical team never showed up. So, I registered an ACT request No [protected] on 16th Jan spoke to Prashanth from ACT who assured that this will be solved within 24 hrs. Surprisingly, I got a SMS that my broadband service has been activated and with it my username and password. Next day(17th Jan), I got a SMS that the ticket has been resolved, and to reopen the ticket, type "N" and send to [protected] which I sent.On 21st Jan(The Day I should have got the connection), I got the same SMS that the ticket has been resolved, and to reopen the ticket, which I sent on 22nd Jan. And again on 24th Jan with the same SMS.I had requested the ACT Team(Prashanth, Kiran, Chiranjeevi and Anand) on different occasions to provide me with an internet connection. So far, no one from the technical team has responded. Note: I'm using BSNL connection to write this review. The only update I get is that this issue will be resolved in 24 hrs and the periodic SMS to reopen the ticket. Today (1st Feb 2015) I got my first E-Bill to pay Rs.508 from Team Act. How nice of them to be so prompt in generating the Bill.FYI, I still haven't got my [censored]G internet connection yet ACT Team. This system is totally stupid!!! The ACT Team wants me to pay for the internet I haven't used at all? Any kid with a little bit of common sense can prevent this error from happening. What exactly is the Team doing?

                    I checked with the ACT customer service (somashekar) a while ago and there is no misunderstanding. He states that since the connection is prepaid, the bill generates automatically.He also said that, once I get the internet connection, I have to raise another ticket with the billing team requesting them to deduct this amount in the next bill.Meaning, I have to pay the bill this month in order to prevent from being fined and then request for a reduction in the next month bill. It doesn't matter to them whether I'm using the internet or have a connection.I have to pay the bill regardless of whatever issues I'm facing and claim them by raising a ticket when the issues are resolved.The help desk was also kind enough to send me the SOA (statement of account) through mail and a remainder to pay it online as well.This is really a legal way to make money without providing any service. Its really interesting.1. Lure a customer into purchasing a high speed net connection.2. Ask him/her to pay the first month bill upfront.3. Delay the connection process for a month.4. Ask him/her to pay the next month bill as well.5. If the customer pays, repeat steps 3 & 4. If the customer delays to pay, fine them. If the customer withdraws, deduct all fines and fees and pay only minimum.6. Either way, the company makes a profit without providing any services to the customer.Nice Strategy. Only Indians are capable of accomplishing this.

                      Hi, I had a pretty bad experience while dealing with ACT Broadband Internet connection. This incident happened even before getting a new broadband connection. I paid the full amount(Rs. 7072) for next 6 months which does qualifies for a 7th month free net connection and free installation charges. I just applied for a net connection through act tv website on 24tn Jan'15 . ACT tv broad band guy(Srinath ([protected])) responded back on 25 th Jan'15 and came home and explained about the plan and received the full amount and flew away. He promised the installation and everything will be completed within a day and at worst case it will extend to 4 days. Today its 30th Jan 2015 and no sign of any installation. and the guy who received the amount for broadband connection isn't bothered to pick my call. My query is, if they can't provide a net connection on time then why are they stealing my valuable and hard earned money and doing fake promise to provide net connection. Thanks, Guru

                        Greetings, I would like to bring to the jumbo circus employees some discrepancies with regards to my beam a/c 206705. Billing: This area needs to serious coordination, looks like a bunch of jokers are handling this area. Please find below consolidated facts and interpretation from your own document (attached). Sept -2013 I had paid upto Sept 3, 2013 and applied for disconnection. As I am an NRI, I could call from my registered mobile number and your agents in the call center cannot think outside the script so I was dinged unfairly for Sept 2013, which I had to pay on Sept 26 as your jokers dont have a process in place. Oct - 2013 Post that, some retarded jack asses decided to bill me again for Oct 2013, Now you billing department either has no clue on whats going on or this is just a rip-off project. Screw the customer and get billing in any ways. Dec 2014 / Jan 2015 When I come back and apply for reconnection, I am again dinged. This time in addition to the package there is a "pro-rata" amount of Rs 500 + (apprx) which needs to be paid. I paid a visit to your office on Jan 16th, and met Sree Deepaak Prasanna Kumar Reddy and brought to his attention this issue among other ones. He assured me that some "expert" would look into this issue and let me know. Monday Jan19th, 2014 another Jackass from billing calls and tells me that my a/c is overdue. I had to explain that there is an issue and "expert" needs to revert. Finally, later on Jan 19th, Mr Deva ( God Himself) had to call from your billing department and acknowledged that the amount was billed incorrectly and post approvals, the adjusted amount will reflect in my a/c. During this conversation I also indicated that Sept 2013 was also incorrect and he assured me that he will look into this. Now all this was Mr Deva's blessings as no one in the organization apart from him was aware (no case notes). If he ran away with his wife then ..my money was out of the window again. Now this did not happen as my account was suspended on Jan 22, due to non-payment of dues. EXCELLENT Work, the jokers pulled a fast one on the Jumbo Circus...you bunch of nit-wits should be proud of your selves. Now comes the best part, I call for disconnection and Mr Butter Brain says that its not needed to disconnect as my account is already suspended. Furthermore, this would be considered at month end. Why ? If you can charge me pro-rata for connection, why the bloody hell do you guys not consider pro-rata disconnection ? I want to let you know that I have not used your services since Jan 21, 2015, so please dont get any wise crack ideas to bill me wrongly.

                          Hi, This is not expected as a standard service. I have not recieved any feedback for this request yet and the query still remains unresolved. request a strict timeline for this completion of set up. Please provide a final set-up timeline and failing to which I will raise this in public forums. Please consider this as test to patience for such poor bugus service. Irresponsible company since at the time of payment i was rushed into to make payment and now the delay has been significant. This is really annoying and not satisfactory! please let me raise this issue with the higher authority which i will find out very soon.                             ACT sucks !!! I approached them during end December 2014 for a new connection. Mr. Vasanth (Kumar kept calling me to come over and sign the contract. Once they got app Rs. 1750 from me, they have disappeared. It is now 20 days since I paid them and there is no sign of them. I keep calling the numbers of the executives ([protected]) and [protected] but noone answers. Have decided to intiate legal proceedings against them.

                                This is regarding the power discount which was suppose to pay me from Sep, 2013 till 31st Dec, 2014 (16 Months). I am being following up for the amount / Cheque but till date I haven’t received a single rupee from beam cable. Every time I raise a ticket and these guys simple close the ticket without resolving the issue. This shows how professional these guys are working.                                 I came to know about the power discount from my friends after 3 years of installing the backup battery and network connection box in my premises. This information was never passed to me at the time of installation or at the time of paying internet bills.
                                When I called around 20-30 times to the customer care and consulted the beam office once. The followoing things were ( in sequence)
                                1) No power discount will be provided for the past.
                                2) Can provide power discount for max 6 months ( @Rs50/month)
                                3) Can provide power discount for max 1 year ( @Rs50/month)
                                4) Can provide power discount for 1 year (@Rs75/month)
                                5) Can provide power discount for 2 years (@100/month) but Rs1800 through cheque and the remaining can be adjusted in the next payment ( that will be in April 2015)
                                6) All the above things are through phone, I have asked for the written mail for the above details, then they told that email cannot be given as there is no access for that...and then there is no response.

                                First of all, I need the complete refund of electricity charges from the day one of installation of box in my premises.(@min of Rs100/month )

                                The complaint tickets raised are all closed without resolved.

                                I need complete justice on it ( the loss I had on this with interest, the time I wasted on this, the mention tension, )
                                All including the complete loss is far more than the actual money the beam telecom has to pay.


                                I request the consumer forum to take this up and provide me the justice.
