I opted for ACT 6 month subscription after confirming with ACT sales execution, that the connection is available on the premises and can be installed the same date (June 2nd 2022).
On paying 6 month subscription amount (Rs.7611.00/-), there is no proper response from your team. After continuous calls for 2 days, they said that a Switch needs to be installed in the premises and will take time. Hence, on June 4th, I raised a service request (Ref# SR[protected]) with Customer care to cancel the subscription and refund the amount. I haven't got any call from ACT till date and the service request got closed on June 6th, and the amount is not credited back yet.

Request you to look into the above issue on priority and process my refund back.

Thanks for the updates.

Below is the update as on 06/21/2022:

Got a new Refund ref. ID - SR[protected] raised by ACT team on June 18th saying that:
a. We will call you within 48 hrs for more details. Allow us 4 working days after sharing details.
b. You ticket tentatively expected to be resolved by 20th June, between 13.00 to 16.00.

Till now i.e. June 21st (9.40 PM) I haven't received any call or message from ACT team.

Request you to look into the issue at the earliest. Let me know if you need any further information from my end,

    I have requested for a new connection on 3rd of may and paid advance rental, but for 7days i didn't get any response from the team, then i went for cancellation of service then the customer care team said will be cancelled and refund will be initiated, after few days again service team called me to installation i said i already cancelled the service then after 1hour i got a message saying that installation has been completed and activation also activated i was shocked without installation how the service will be activated then i contacted customer care on 19th they raised for refund and said with in 5 working days refund will be completed, it's been almost 1 month i didn't any refund. When I called the customer care team no one was responding properly. and more over they are saying where ever you want to complaint do it, they are very rude.

    3. Without refund billing team is closing the ticket.
    4. There is no proper information why this is being delayed, there is no proper response.

        The internet not working more than 36 hours.
        I am facing issue because of that I can't work.
        I already raised complain to customer care but still issue is not resolved. The kindly humble to solve the issue within 1 hour or who will be responsible for the delay for the update kindly make him contact. So I raise complain about him or can talk about issue because I am not getting positive response from your side.

              I took a new ACT connection on May 31st 2022. The agent Muniraja set up the wire, activated my connection, took the money and vanished. He gave me ACT BASIC plan for 6 month +1 month free. I had an old router of mine which i tried to install but it is unsupported. Without the router i am unable to use the internet connection that I paid for.

              Since then I have been struggling to get it resolved. Raised complaints from ACT app, called customer care numerous times but no result. They are telling me they will change my plan from backend team/billing team and it's been over 1 week the result is zero, nada, zilch.

              Today, 7th June at 7:20am I received a call from ACT Fibernet. The person on the call started shouting at me. I have no idea who the person was. He was shouting about saying that I requested the plan, did you buy router from shopping mall or what not! Please note it's 7:20 am. This is how I woke up.

              I either want a router installed so that I can use the internet connection i paid for or disconnect and give me my entire refund.

                  Junction box was removed from my area and it has been 4 days since any internet connection or backup provided
                  They have abruptly removed the connection and no one is picking up the calls now.
                  The customer service number is a waste of time as no one over there knows what to do in this situation and only provide fake promises

                  Ur cs team had put my ca on hold for 15-20 mins and when i didn't cut the call they called me back and again went mute stating that its an issue with my network which was not the case.
                  I asked for a escalation contact/email however none were provided. Its just a waste of time and energy.
                  Pls refund my amount and remove the connection. I'll happily opt for airtel/jio which are far more affordable and with great cs support team

                    ACT Connection[protected] Broadband Not Working.
                    complaint No:[protected]
                    [protected] closed without resolution.
                    My broadband connection stopped working from last one month and the ACT customer support says they need to install the switch in my premises for the internet connection for which I have not allowed them as it's their responsibility to provide the connection and not out it on customer. In view of this I have raised multiple requests and they have been closing the request without any response. I have asked then to refund my money as I have paid for a year in advance they are not ready to that too. This is more like an harassment on the customer. Kindly please look into this and help with resolution. as I am outside the country they have taken me for granted and harassing me without any response to my request.

                    The Switch they want to install requires drilling on the apartment premises with separate electric connection and also from there act wants to provide connection to multiple other customers. I don't want them to drill this as it's their responsibility to make arrangements without putting on customer. Kindly help.

                    Is there any progress on this complaint, The connection is disconnected, however I dont see the amount refunded that is paid till March 2023.

                      On May 6th, 2022 i made a payment for my act fibernet connection. I received a message that it was not complete and hence i repeated the payment and within seconds i received a message from the bank only now it appeared the payment had been made twice. I immediately reached out to act with a helpdesk. I have not received any further communication from the company regarding the resolution process.

                        When getting my ACT fibernet connection in Delhi, I was given the option to either go with a monthly plan for which I would have to provide my own router, or go for 3 months or more, and I would be given a free router along with my plan. I have therefore paid for this router since it was a package deal along with my plan. I am now constantly being harrassed by ACT agents for the router. They contact me every other day to harass me on call for it. I am not returning this, since it is my personal property now.

                        I would like for this harassment to stop, as not only is this illegal, it makes me more inclined to only recommend against ACT fibernet.

                              Dear Sir/Madam

                              With reference to said subject please find summary below

                              1) on inspection of my property ( opp to ultra lab) Door number11/50hulimavu krishna layout hulimavu bg road bangalore you're company has installed electric divice by illegal method

                              2) on enquiry with the mobile number[protected]Dhanu raj) written on the device he was very careless and rude and told we have advocate panel it's not only you're property there are more number of case like this also he told I have pasted commercial poster for marketing purpose illegally on KEB electric poles also you do what you want

                              3) I have approached hulimavu police on 13.05.2022 @around 3 pm station narrated above incident immediately they have called you're ACT company employee Mr danu raj advised him to amiable close the said issue

                              4) on the same Mr danu raj came and disconnected the ACT connection I have video & photos of his act he told it has been like this for last 4 years

                              5) when enquired about 4 years electric bill he again took U turn and after repeatedly asked him he finally gave you're email id

                              6 ) now I have enquired with electrician who has visited spot have told due the ACT instrument there has been increase in the KEB meter reading which on amount per month accounts to Rs 300

                              7 ) That's 4 years means 48 months which comes to Rs 14400

                              8 ) kindly pay siad amount to below account immediately

                              b) Photo of you're person disconnect ACT instrument

                              Kindly act on illegal activity fone by you're employee and your company M/S ACT

                              Kindly give me solution for the same

                              I have complet video footage of this act of illegal activity carried by employee Mr Dhanraj

                              Also I have written to ACT company nidal officer Mr vijay but no positive response from Mr vijay very sad

                                I have taken 6 months basic 40 mbps plan from ACT Chennai end February 2022, paid in full, 6 months advance payment. There have been more than 8 disruptions, internet failures so far in these 3 months and still counting. I requested for disconnection and refund of the amount for the future 3 months that am not willing to continue. However, they say, it is not as per the terms and conditions or as per their policy. Every time, the internet connection is failing and a service request is raised and it takes 2 hours to 10 hours for restoration. How can i escalate this and get back my money, as every time the Customer care is asking for 1 last chance and there is no provision to refund, despite so many failures from their side?

                                The issue is not permanently fixed. Again during last week, when there was a power failure for less than 1 hour, the broadband (internet) was down. You may refer the ticket SR[protected] dt.26-Jul-2022. You may note that the Battery didn't provide enough back-up, and this is the same reason given during the past 5 times of internet disruption. Only 1 month left and I will certainly not happy with the service you are providing.

                                I hope, many other customers from our street have gone out of ACT. Probably some new customers might have taken connection but they will experience ACT (which do not ACT properly / immediately / timely) and will also quit, like us. IF YOU DO NOT CHANGE THE WAY YOU RESPOND and UNDERSTAND your Customers, You will end up in closing your business / cutting your wings atleast, for sure.

                                  Account activation in progress since last 4 days

                                  I opted for ACT fibernet on 22 May but till I have not received any user credentials. When I try to login to app, it says account activation in progress. Customer care response is not satisfactory. Please help in resolving this....

                                    I took connection and used this for 17 months. I cancelled my connection and returned the router. It's been more than 45 days and their customer service is just trying to act clever and playing stupid games as I told them to refund the Security money(1000 Rs), Customer service keep says- it is in progress and Manager are also not calling regarding ticket and keep says- your number was unreachable, Always saying that it will be done in next 2-3 days, there are very unprofessional and irresponsible customer care service. ACT internet is high speed and good, but refund process and Customer Service is useless. My previous ticket number-SR[protected].

                                      We had prepaid for act 6 months plan and paid 7682 rupees to ACT. But in the building ACT wasn't allowed, so no installation was done and we requested for refund. But still now we haven't received the refunds and the guy who supposedly initiated the refund isn't responding and dodging the bullet.
