Post document submission and payment in advance for 3 months internet connection, sales rep is forcing me to send SELFIE TO WHATSAPP NUMBER. I refused and complained and all I faced was SPAM HARASSMENT. When I said I'll file a legal complaint, he said to go ahead. He is asking me why only I have a problem when everyone else is doing it.
Nowhere in the website it's mentioned we must send a selfie and customer support team also said I only need to provide PDF format photocopy. They told me to ask the sales rep for link where I can upload my picture but the sales rep refused to provide. Even to cancel connection, the sales rep forced me to send selfie.
Finally after email escalation, I received confirmation that my refund is being processed on 11th August 2022. Yesterday again they sent me an email stating I must self SELFIE. This is mental harassment, unethical behavior, unprofessional, cheating. If they have a rule like this, why wasn't it told and asked for before taking the payment?
I have all calls recorded as well and email conversations. Please help resolve.

    Hi Team,
    I did raised a shifting request a month ago (you can check the request numbers based on my registered mobile - [protected]) so that Act can do the assessment and actual shifting should take less time. ACT did the assessment at my new location and said that it will not take more than a day to provide connection at new location and they closed that ticket as if i have re-located.

    Again on 11th August i raised a ticket for actual shifting and till now the ticket is not closed and no service is provided. I am following it up on daily basis will help desk and the person who is working for ACT in our locality (Balaji). I am literally frustrated and even after planning one month ahead for shifting and from last 4 days i am unable to work for my office.

    I am pasting the whatsApp conversations below, you can check your call recording for further details.(which i did with helpdesk)..

    If you are not capable of providing services, please accept and return my money ( i paid for 6month in advance). I will move ahead with other service provider, everyday i am expecting that i will get network today...

      I am disappointed in waiting for a new connection over 7 days.

      I contact ACT care for new connection on 7-aug-2022 and I was told I would get one by 48 hrs. After couple days I was told there's an issue in our area and was informed they are waiting on technical team for some permissions to place a switch.

      Call centers tell me they are placing my complaint as there top priority. Yet there was no connection till 14-aug-2022 .I wait eagerly to realize that resolve date is moved to 16-aug-2022(Today).

      Following that I call back customer care and I have been told/messaged that it will take till 18-aug-2022.

      I can try to understand there's a technical issue. But it shouldn't have taken 7 days for a call back from a technician who is on the same page as call center.

      When I did there's so much confusion of whom to trust, Call center assuring me it will resolve sooner or technician saying it will take a month or 2.

      Still I like to keep my hopes up to get a call back of some level of assurance in these days of long waiting periods and pointless due dates.

      I just want Internet connection.

      I'm not sure I follow you, I did not get any account ID as the connection itself is delayed.

      The issue tracking is done by my mobile number and call center does seem to get details this way.
      Here is my latest ticket SR[protected] from sent from SMS by ACT TEAM.

      If I'm being clear: There is no connection, there is no switch, there is no port, there is no Lan, there is no call back, there is no account id. Nothing to track. Only long waiting periods.

      Still no call back, no tracking, no follow up SMS, no internet. This has been such a disappointing experience.

      I call customer care again, They assured me in 7 days they are going to provide me internet port. This is just hilarious, I am promised a call back and was told to wait 24hrs for a SMS.

      I asked them if there is any slightest possibility for an internet connection in this area ? and they responded "yes there is a possibility for internet connection in your area, Just give us more time. last chance." -Sure.

      I am using my mobile data for a 10 days. This has been a great coping experience to update/share complaints in these long waiting periods.

      I just want Internet connection.

        We paid Rs. 3887 /- to install ACT Fibernet broadband connection on 6.8.2022.
        Their engineering team could nt install & so we cancelled & we got complaint no/ticket number SR[protected] on 11.8.2022 & was assured amount will be refunded after our
        sales team initiates the refund . Neither have received any msg nor call from the concerned team regarding this . Kindly
        initiate the refund & resolve this issue as soon as possible . It's unfair to collect the money in seconds but refund initiation itself is taking 4-5 days then my refund process is going to take another 3-7 working days.

          I am using ACT internet for more than 5 years. My connection got disconnected one week back as my neighbor not allowing wires to the connection box in their house. I raised a complaint and one of the ACT team suggested for GX box and they told approval is received as I am using ACT for five years, but after that no response. Another ACT team called and forcing me to close the ticket without resolution, else forcing to disconnect the connection....

          Every day there is same drama they call and ask ur vpn issue is fixed however i do not have any vpn issue i have voip issue even now iam logged in through my mobile data and working i dont feel its right you guys are charging and not providing the services what i needed they say we will call back at 6.30 they call at 3 this is call back policy what act follows then close the case stating cx was not reachable . If this cannot be resolved please now iam not gonna call or raise any request please close the account its waste for me when i dont get service remaining days amount you guys refund me i will recharge my phone and log in as iam doing from past 2 weeks

          Spoke with Mohammad Adil location hyderabad agent is questioning me that prove that you have this issue from two weeks this is the wonderful service i request all you guys using act see the service and decide to continue or not with such a worst internet provider. Issue was resolved automatically by morning some one from technical team called and did some changes in laptop using any desk what was working even that is not working now i just want act people to call me get this service disconnected and get my amount refunded

            As I wanted to transfer connection from Manikonda to Nanakramguda, but executive was came and said there is no place in Port, need to install portal box and went away, after that no one has reached home to install.I am very much discouraged with your service and I wanted to install it as soon as possible.

              Hello,

              My Customer ID is[protected]. I have been a customer from multiple years and having intolerable disconnects from last multiple months. I have been logged the complaints and unable to get the permanent solution from your company. We are working from home and every day we have continuous meeting calls. These outages are causing high loss and inconvenience to us.
              Let me know if you are taking required steps to resolve the issue permanently or I need to go to consumer court? This is very high time. Looks like no one is bothering about customer service. If you want to see the issue and understand our problem, please check the history of the tickets logged. I have logged N number of tickets. This is the worst service I never experienced before.

                I have booked a new connection for ACT Fibernet #[protected] and paid the initial amount on July 3, 2022, but they failed to provide me a connection citing it was not feasible in our locality/non availability of switch and canceled the work order, but even after 1 month now I did not receive my refund.

                  They told me that they will provide 75 mbps with the router, but later they are saying that the router is not good enough and it will never give better speed than 40 mbps, what? excuse me? When did you mention me before fraudulent behaviour and I opened dozen of tickets but all of them are closed without my consent, not even once have I been contacted by them. Even one of their employees told me that he will come to my house and show me what it is - he literally abused me!

                    I have an internet connection to my home at Bangalore from ACT Fibernet from last 1year 6 months at present address and I had this service in my previous address from last 6 years. Now at current address with customer ID[protected] in the name of Sridhara G M, myself. Have been paying their monthly bills of Rs. 1381 per month from last more than 1 and a half years. I have been paying their bills in time promptly. How ever, I am facing the intermittent connection breaks in every month and its not fixed permanently after so many requests to the service provider. This is causing great loss to our work as myself and my wife are working for an IT company. Every time I have to wait at least 1 day to fix after logging a ticket. This is happening several time in a month. Please provide the justice to me for this loss.

                      Hi Team.

                      i have taken act six months plan and payed amount at one shot and now i am requesting for monthly Bill for august and i am not getting any bill from the concerned department and with out sending any bill to me they are closing my request if i call to customer care and ask about this they are telling bills are sent to my email id but i have not received any bill till now for this month and i am completely disappointed with the service providing by Act and ACT Has good image in market and its getting vanished because of this kind of behavior

                      They raise a ticket and keep that for 3 days and close the ticket with our sending any bill .

                      kindly help me with the Monthly bill for August and upcoming months as well,

                        I have raised a request for internet not working with the TICKET# SR[protected]. For which, none of Broad band technician respond back in a proper way. I am still facing the internet issue.

                            It's been more than 3 days. Connection nit activated. Reminded them multiple times. They claimed 48 hrs. It affected my work.

                                OTT subscription auto renewal is happening since last four months my concern. Same has been mailed to service provider to deactivate it on 3rd Jun 2022. Now again in July billing cycle it is showing as amount due for auto renewal of OTT subscription.Notwithstanding previous dues already cleared. Now it is showing a due for last two months and fresh renewal charges.

                                  I have disconnected the act fibernet account more than a year ago, since then I'm requesting to remove the junction box placed in my house.
                                  Act fibernet is using my electricity without at free of cost since one year. Inspite of several complaints, the box is not removed.

                                  Even after several complaints my issue isn't resolved. Right after raising complaint at this platform the Act fibernet people contacted me regarding removal of junction box but have not taken any action in removing the box. My issue is still pending unresolved. Their internet doesn't work nor their customer service.

                                    I have an internet connection with ACT Fibernet with Acc no[protected] from past 7 years. I am really suffering with the worst service as they provided from past 2 months. From the Past 1 month I raised more than 12 tickets and I requested them everytime to change my cable to another router. But they are not listening their words and simply came and resolve the issue and close the tickets everytime. I am online software trainer and I had lot of sessions(each 1 hour) atleast 8 per day. I vexed with their service. Every customer care executive and every technician was not doing their job correctly and If I ask them there is no proper response and talking with me with very negligence. who is responsible for this? I want to file a complaint on them through Consumer Forum. From the past 1 week they raised around 6 complaints and they are not concentrating for the permanent solution. As I have lot of sessions on daily basis with my students. with this worst service How can I continue? Everytime they are requesting me" we wont repeat it again". but they are doing the same. I am facing lot of issues with them and I need a permanent solution and Please take an immediate action on this.

                                      I registered for ACT Lighting plan (AC ID[protected] and paid Rs 11089 as advance rental for 6 months+ security deposit

                                      The connection was installed on 16 June and from day 1, I faced frequent connectivity issues and slow speed for which multiple times complaint were raised but issue couldn't be resolved by the their technician.

                                      On 24 Jul, connection was disconnected after my request and SR (SR[protected]) was taken for the processing the refund for pending advance rental of Rs 8000.

                                      On 28 Jul, request was closed without processing the refund and when I contacted the customer care, I was told by Satish Kumar from ACT that we wouldn't process the refund and denied it completely. I asked him to connect with his supervisor/ manager and I was told he is busy and would callback in 2 hours but one one contacted even after writing multiple emails to customer care and nodal officer.
