As of 31st October 2015, I raised an issue with ACT customer care using the contact number[protected]. I wanted to disconnect the existing service so that I do not get billed for another month. The first request call placed on 12:50 pm was disconnected without any verbal reason after I mentioned that I want to discontinue. The second call was received with a 10 minute delay and the person on phone assured that their executive will call back within 24 hours and did not provide any service ID. As of November 1st 10:00PM I am yet to receive their call and since I don't have any service ID, no proof that I raised a disconnect request. All I have is a call log in my mobile phone which lasted a total of 20 minutes.

After a series of mails and comments in this forum, the issue was handled swiftly and resolved as of November 5th morning 11:30 AM. I would really appreciate if the ACT takes all service requests seriously and resolve without having to call them or send mails repeatedly. Another lesson learnt is never to pay for 6 months or 12 months in advance as we customers have nowhere to go if the internet goes down.

Just to be sure, I forwarded the screenshot from this page to [protected]@acttv.in on 10 PM November 1st. I have been notified by Rukmini, Executive - Customer Service, that the issue will be resolved within 24 "working" hours as of 9:54 AM November 2nd. I haven't received any call or confirmation so far.

I have sent another email to the customer service executive asking about updates. If it is terminated, please confirm that either by SMS or email. FYI, the service request [protected] is still open from my end.

Since, I raised the request as of 31st October 2015, I will not be paying the bill for November month.

    The usage details displayed in the Account details of the consumers of Act fibernet/broadband is highly inflated and exaggerated. they are not willing to share the daily summary of the usage and do not heed to the request of the consumers but force the consumers to pay the bill for days when the internet is out of order. the daily summary of the usage should be made mandatory and should be to the satisfaction of the consumers.

      I had act fiber, recently bean in habsiguda since 3 years.
      After i moved to uppal (Peerzadiguda), they said they cannot provide internet as there are no ports available.
      They would need install bonu, a box which they took permission too.
      Even till 1year nothing happened.
      Got a msg on cell to go for reconnection, when contacted, they said box needs to be installed. I said i had given permission earlier already. Technical team doesnt have any idea of the previuos case logs. No info is given to them.
      So the tecnical person gets the box, cable, since i had another isp, i told them to give me some time.
      It took almost a month to get the other box removed, after that when contacted act, there was no response.
      They say, they would get back in 24hrs, but nothing happens.
      Finally, i went to the office in nancharam, they said the port that was available was given to someone else.
      This is very irritating to know that that a customer is waiting since more than a year, is not given the connection twice when there was

      The incharge in nancharam says when the tech came i didn go for it, so they gave the connection to someone else. I was like what the hell..

      I have your conection in bowenpally but would be moving to Peerzadigua in next 4 months. Please conmfirm if you have services there or do i need to disconnect your connection and take a new connection from different subscriber when i move there.

        My internet speed has been reduced to 500Kbps and when I called customer service they told me that I have reached my FUP limit of 50GB (they said I have consumed 60.1 GB and the ACT Portal showed the same). It doesn't make sense, can anyone believe that the extra 10GB was consumed on a slow speed (500Kbps)?
        Anyway I called up the customer care on 27-Oct-2015 around 10 PM. Customer care team were not able to give me a day wise break-up(I don't understand why?) and logged a complaint stating that their team will get back to me in 24 business hours. Its been more than 16 business hours and I am sitting on a connection that is terribly slow, with no response to my complaint. I am totally dis-satisfied with this ir-responsible behaviour from ACT. My Complaint number: [protected]. Account Id - 203504.
        Process - If the customer care executive have transferred the call to ACT representative, this issue would have been resolved in a matter of minutes and ACT would have had one happy customer. I don't understand why this big hungama?
        And I have to also add this, this exact same issue occured an year back and the CC executive, then wisely transferred the call to ACT team who identified a bug on their end and resolved it immediately (they reset the FUP). Why not follow the same approach now?

          I've applied for connection on 24th April 2015 for 6 months, but the connection got activated in the 2nd week of June, 2015 due to issue from ACT Fibernet end. Their engineer has visited my house more than 10 times to resolve and finally we could use the services during June, 2015 second week. And at that time they have promised that billing cycle shall start from the date o[censored]sage on wards. Since 1st week of October, 2015 I get calls and SMS from the company to pay the bill, when registered for a complaint for waive off for non usage (due to issue from ACT fibernet end) in customer care on 7th October 2015 . Since then I've to follow up frequently ( raised complaints on 13th, 21st, 27th, and 29th October, 2015) on the issue but till date there is no effort to resolve the issue. The day we register complaint one executive calls and asks to repeat the entire issue and finally says he will have to speak to their superiors. The same drama is continuing since 7th October, 2015. I receive a message on 29th October, 2015 stating the complaint is closed whereas the issue is still unresolved.             Hi Beam, 20 Oct 2015 to still ( 28 Oct 2015), I Facing the Problem of Speed of Beam Internet Connection, I taken the plan 10Mbps now the speed of internet down to 1Mbps i checked Speedtest, . I Tried to reach CC everytime its busy or directly disconnects the call while connecting and i sent mail no response, Beam is Number one in india but service is poor try to resolve your service issues reach the customers fastly.

              I have a registered a complaint regarding issue internet connectivity on 21st October 2015. From then I have been calling them twice daily to look into the complaint. They are postponing by saying 2days, 24 hours etc time is needed to look into complaint. its been a week and still there is no positive response from their side.
              Nobody is coming and verifying what is the problem and nobody at the customer service knows why.?
              They expect me to pay the amount for the days on which do not have internet connectivity too.
              I had this issue twice in the past 15 days.
              The spontaneity they show during bill payment delay is superr fast when compared to customer service.
              They have the time to fill the city with big hoardings but cannot solve the issue on time.

                This is to bring to your kind notice that i have recently requested Beam Broadband connection for Home. I had taken 6 months connection with 650 Plan which offers 50 GB data at 10 MBPS. I had requested for a new router as well for Wifi. Account Number is[protected] Userid is [protected]@gmail.com Registered Phone no: [protected] But to say the least the Beam installation services have been pathetic. The person whom contacted me first collected the money on the same day when i requested the connection. But post that nobody came to my home for installation inspite of multiple follow ups on the call centre. Post repeated pursuals a person visited my home but without any router. He did the cabelling and said that providing the router is not his responsibility. I contacted their call centre again but they dont care to respond. When i asked for escalation they put my call on hold for 10 minutes but even then i was not provided with the router. I repeatedly called up their call center but everytime they would put up my call on hold. I ended up spending more than 100 Rs on calling up the call center and the mental harrasment which i have suffered is separate. Would request for the compensation from Beam for the same.

                    I have contacted the act broadband customer care[protected] and informed that internet is not working from October 11th 2015 at 1:33 pm. Representative filed a complaint and informed me to allow 24 hrs to resolve the issue. As it was Sunday and I will get only one day leave to perform all my online transactions and was actually trying to book a ticket for journey at the time of disruption. I have requested them to expedite and I have called next day morning saying the same issue and they gave that same 24 hrs time frame. After two days that is 14-10-15, I have again contacted and informed the same issue and also told them to disconnect my net and credit the amount as no one contacted but received a message saying that the issue is resolved. But the broadband was not working. After 1 day I received the call saying that they are going to remove the box in my apartment due to some issues with house owner and will credit the amount. At least I was some what relieved to receive the call to know the reason and asked about the credit. They have informed that I will receive a call in short time and I have not received the call for another 2 days and no updates. I have contacted them again for 5 times and even asked the supervisor number to inform this. They have informed that same 24 hrs...After 10 days I have received a message saying that my complaint has been closed...Still now I did not receive a call about this delay in service...From the start of month onward I will receive many calls and messages to let me remember the payment...PLEASE CHANGE YOUR QUOTE "RELIABLE SERVICE'...STOP INSTALLING THE BOARDS ALL OVER HYDERABAD INSTEAD PROVIDE A GOOD SERVICE TO STAY IN MARKET..i HAD PAID THE MONEY BUT WAITED FOR 10 DAYS TO GET THE BROADBAND TO WORK.. FOR A DAY INTERNET USUAL IS 20-30 RS PER HOUR.

                      I have paid for 6 months and per my package which is 650, I am supposed to get 10Mbps thats what my package says and I have not crossed the limit of 50Gb yet, still my internet speed is 3 to 4Mbps on an average.My account id[protected] and username is swapna.[protected]@gmail.com.I have complained on ACT finbernet site already.. but no body called.. no email.. no response on the complaint so far.

                        Hi this is ravi from Hyderabad. From last 3 days I have been calling beam internet customer care because of my internet is not working from last 3 days. Every time they use to say our technical team will come with in 24 hours but it has been 3 days even there is no call back from the technical team. So I am complaining on beam internet.                           I submit that i have taken beam company connecton six months back for 5mbs pack have made advance payment for the previous period.according to my package my package end on[protected]. but the act people sent an advance bill for rs 4076 for 10mbps pack to be paid before[protected], they have sent several sms phone calls for collecting the same at last i had paid the money for rs 4076 for next six months pack 10mbps pack vide receipt no99891198 date[protected] but people after taking full money reduced my plan to rs 410 when i enquired that they said with in 24 hour they will rectify the mistake made my them

                            Hi My userid is 10981108 Here how you guys resolve customer complaint 16/oct/2015: lodged complaint by 10:00am, my net is not working, got complaint number [protected] 17/oct/2015: guy came and see the problem somebody cut the wire from DP 18/oct/2015: nothing resolved 19/oct/2015: nothing resolved 20/oct/2015: I again called customer care they assure it will be resolve today, evening I got message your problem resloved, but when i checked still my net was not working, again i called customer care they again assure tomorrow my problem will resolve, and complain number again reopned 21/oct/2015: I got message in evening your problem has been resolved, but after checking It was not resolved and my net still was not working, I again called customer care and again as usual I got assurance that it will resolve tomorrow. 22/oct/2015: Till the time I am writing this its still not resolved and I hope evening when I will call customer care I will get assurance nothing else So above I wrote what a delighted customer service you guys are giving, today it will complete 7 days without solving my issue. You guys just make customer pissed off, I got frustrated by calling on customer care number everyday.

                              I have taken the Wifi connnection in the past and now due to change of address i requested the team to do the relocation of connection the to the new address, same was promised in 7 days i raised the request on the 4th and same was delayed in recording by their team on 7th, 6-9 minutes of hold on each call made from my mobile no to customer care, reason for the same was given only sorry and one weird answer volume of calls is it my fault ?. no musical holds they just vanish in between calls, No call back arranged after multiple promises, My connection was disconnected before relocation and adjustment for the bill is not made, Change of plan not allowed, threatening for nonpayment will result is disconnection and again reactivation charges of 500 applicable, various calls and reminder during working hours, arrogant people in their conversation, only talk about policy, when they do the new connection in the middle of the month they send the billing on prorata basis, and now why cant they downgrade my plan just Rs.100 less from my previous bill .difference out of my 60 gb only 18 gb used cant they adjust from the new plan on pro rata my rental on 50gb plan deducting the usage, for 4 days and rest of the days my connection was not active, for the lost days they dont want to give in writing the payment will be adjusted in next bill cycle, Bill sent to me is inclusive of service tax 14 %and once bill is paid tax is shown zero why so its worth finding it, who will pay for the number of calls made for their inefficiency .who will pay for the number of calls made by me and they just dont listen and keep u engaged for 20-30 minutes with no problem resolution, and when u say about consumer forum they just disconnect the call and send you again reminder for payment when you are most irritated post the call. this is really annoying in the workplace resulting in waste of time and non productivity . Nodal officer again does not have problem resolution skills. Responsible team members were Satish the manager, Manjunath, Naveen the collection guy, latha, and many more.requesting your kind addressal for the same harassment and necessary service recovery of my loss. could not attach the bill copy due to the format not supported with the minimum size was low to upload the bill Thanks & Regards Dr, .                                   I raised a request for shifting of my internet connection from one place to another. I made a call on Monday ie., one week pripr to my shifting. The customer care guy mentioned that it will take 24 hrs for them to do that and asked me to do that after moving to new location. I made a request by calling Act fibernet customer care on Friday ie.. is on 16/10/15. They mentioned it will take them 24 hrs to do that. But it is not resolved even after 72 hrs. Please help me in making that as soon as possible.

                                  Even I shifted my apartment with in the same community and made so many calls and its been more than 10 days, still no response. And the customer service is always busy, only once I spoke to a person today and he replied back saying that their system is down. Again I am trying to reach the customer rep and it is busy.

                                    I have opted for Act Fibernet connection of 6 months plan in which you are supposed to pay around 2600/- one time. For first six months i faced issues on connectivity but this was kind of bearable but after having it renewed for the second time my broadband wire was unplugged very frequently in every two days time which took around 10 days for ACT Fibernet to rectify each time. The unplugging disruption was faced by me three times between September 2015 to October 2015, I was made to call ACT every day at least 3-4 times and the heights was i was made to wait 35 mins to talk to their floor supervisor to have it escalated to get the work done on priority. The more embarrassing thing was technician comes and promises to restore your connection by end of day but he vanishes for days together. Another embarrassment was there was no response from Nodalofficer.[protected]@actcorp.in in spite of three mails with escalations and nor their was any acknowledgement at least for courtesy purpose. It's very annoying to get such kind of service even after paying 6 months of amount well in advance and to get our self trapped in clutches of these brazenness vendors. I would like to caution the ACT authorities on looting the innocent customers this way. You are not the only Broadband service provider in this city, we have many other options to look out. Refund my amount, if you cannot serve or sort my problem in time. My account #[protected]

                                      I have been an active customer since last 3 years and always loved the act broadband initially becoz on the daily usage you guys had the display on the account page so the customer will cross check about his daily consumption but offlate i dont see that and its been now taken off by the ACT people i dont know what made you do that? I am sure there are lot of descripency about my broadband usage and i keep a close watch about my downloads. you guys cheat customer by ur corrupt database showing as 3 times more than the actual download usage. I have been facing this issue long time but nothing is being do to rectify this nor there is any transparency. I am not going to pay the next bill if the issue is not sorted asap and will find out alternatives...really dont know how pathetic and corrupt you guys have become just in the name of high speed...

                                        I have raised a complaint on Oct 16th, 2015 that internet stopped working, but there is no feedback from concerned department, I made calls to customer care n number of times and I get a worst service from them, only thing I get to hear is within 24 hrs it will be resolved. Its been 3 days but there is no response from them. The service ticket no. [protected] has been registered on 16/10/2015, 1520hrs. They have updated the ticket no. on every call made to the customer care. They worked on the service ticket rather than the actual issue. On 18/10/2015, 1246hrs., the ticket no. was closed without any resolution. On the next call to customer care, a new ticket no. [protected] has been registered with the same workflow as the previous one. It is simply harassment to the customer from Act corp.

                                        Again a new service ticket no. with the same workflow. Customer care executive kept my call on hold for 10mins (chargeable call) for connecting to the higher executives but they failed & disconnected the call. The issue is yet to be resolved. A very bad service they provide to the customers. I would suggest all the people reading this, don't ever go for ACT fibernet connection as they have the talent to frustrate people at peaks. I'm saying this with a far better experience.
