Hi, I applied for ACT broadband connection on 3rd September and this guy by name Vinod came home & collected Rs. 7140 (6+1) for ACT Blaze connection, with a statement that the connection would be setup in 3 days! 3 days has turned to 13 days and still no call/mail regarding the installation status. They have a customer care number which takes more than 10 mins to connect, this is a paid call and not a toll free. Once we're through this patience testing minutes, we're connected to the executives who have a standard verbatim of "oh! this had to be done in 3 days, we have crossed the TAT and we'll get back in 24 hrs, we've taken a complaint and will work on this asap" and many more such one-liners. I feel these executives don't even know whats happening and are just there for namesake. The complaint that is supposedly registered doesn't have an acknowledgement mail or message. And we've been calling the customer care almost twice a day. One Mr. Bhavik had the audacity to question us back regarding the complaint. Earlier had thought that BSNL broadband is worst in customer service but atleast they work on it in a day. Now I called this nodal officer on 42840044 and he tells me he'll get back in 1 day and mind you this also took me 15 mins to connect. Wanted the connection ASAP as we're dependent on this for many official purposes. Seriously harrowing experience for a customer. Wondering how much more we need to bear once the connection is setup. Please respond or if there is a better ombuds/consumer forum let me know. We need redressal/action at its earliest. Also wanted to know who is the governing body for such matters or escalation.

    Worst service and cheating the custmers. I am paying around 1500 per month and it is a 60 GB plan with 30 mbps speed. Every time when I check the speed it wiould be less than 100 kbps. It is not only for me but also all people who has taken their service Please do some thing to them atleast some fine or penalty.
    This is worst service not go for this one.

      Hello, My name is Chandrashekar S from Brahmanwadi, Begumpet, Hyderabad. I feel a threat from ACT Broadband office for not paying the 6 months due which is actually to be paid by 22-Sep-2015 Even though I have raised this issue multiple times and received a mail from the Nodal Officer stating that they have caused inconvenience caused to me on Sep-9-2015 and that I can pay the due amount by 22-Sep-2015, I have been receiving at least 2-3 SMS and emails on a daily basis from ACT Broadband asking me to pay the amount due. I have ignoring them as I am told that I could pay the amount by 22-Sep-2015. Today (15-Sep-2015) I have received 2 calls (one from[protected] in the afternoon from a female rep. asking me to pay the amount soon even after telling her that I would pay the amount by 22nd Sep. It is so shocking and feeling so harassed that at 7:15PM there was yet another call from one Mr. Rajshekar who called from the cell number +[protected] and talking with me in a rude way stating that I need to pay the amount soon and when I explained to him that I have time till 22nd Sep he was rudely asking as to when I would pay the amount. I feel a threat and harassed by this organization as I am being disturbed all the time without being able to concentrate on my job/ work. It is so much of harassment feeling that I wish I could go to any extreme by this kind of harassment and ACT Broadband would be responsible for my actions. Regards,

      This is the nth time I am receiving this kind of mail wherein it clearly says that I need to pay my due by 10th Sep, or within 7 days in receipt of this mail.

      I have a 6 months package which is valid till 22nd Sep. and why is ACT asking me to pay this amount even before the actual due date and I feel that this is like a threat and harassment, which I have already raised with you Sir/ Madam but still have been receiving such threating kind of emails and SMS on a daily basis, which is unbearable and frustrating as if I have taken some loan from your organization and not returning it.

      I received this email at 6:44 PM today as below. I am not able to believe as to why ACT is harassing me in this fashion and do you wish that I could take the extreme step and Blame ACT for my action.

        Hello, I'm here to tell you guys how pathetic service provider act has become. I applied for a new connection and paid one month advance along with installation charges. Their executive insisted me to take a higher speed plan so the installation will be quicker. It's been 10 days from then nobody contacted for installation. After that I called their executive n customer care n shouted on them. So finally I got a call from technical guy saying he's coming for installation. Nd to irritate more that guy never showed up. Both executives n technical person doesn't pick up my calls. It takes minimum 15 min to connect to their customer care. Even after a long struggle I managed to reguater complaint but it'll take 3 more days to check for solution. I don't understand which kind of service is this. They shouldn't charge for installation unless it's done.

          User Id : 159387 Registered Mobile no : [protected] I requested a new connection in September 1st week (I had an ACT connection in Hebbal from 2011 till 2013). A person named Bajali ([protected]) came and collected Rs.7180 (for ACT Blaze Rs.1049 plan for 6 months + 1 month free and free installation). A person named Chandru ([protected]) came on 7th September and gave the connection. Here are the list of complaints: 1) The technician came without the required equipments and gave the wire connection dangling between the doors. SInce the laptop was not available at home when he came, he couldn't test the connection. Also he didn't inform anything about userid, account id and password. He told he could come next day and make the wire connection proper but never turned up. He informed that connection could get activated in 3-4 hours. 2) Connection was not activated and Internet was not working. Being a Software engineer myself, I tried all possible options and figured out the connetion is not working (Not even able to open ACT Portal page). So the installation itself was not properly done. 3) I tried to contact ACT customer care by all means. I tried the phone customer care 24 * 7 from 7th to 12th September but never able to reach them. THIS IS NOT THE RIGHT THING FOR ANY COMPANY IF CUSTOMER CARE CANNOT BE REACHED AT ALL. I called up the technician and he said I has gone to native place (for some funeral) and no one else to assist me and asked me to contact customer care which I was not able to reach them. I called up the marketing person who took the cheque for the connection, he said he will check and let me know but never called back. 4) I wrote 2 mails to ACT helpdesk and they raised a ticket and no further update. I raised 2 tickets from ACT website contact us page as well. 5) I myself went to ACT customer care office in Horamavu and asked the details on 12th Sep. I didn't get any answer but a person raised a new ticket and said it would be done by 8PM on Saturday. But nothing happened. I thought to wait till Monday 6) Today 14th Sep, finally was able to reach Customer care in phone and they told there is some problem and will be rectified by Monday evening. Till now it is not working. Now it shows the connection is dead. I called up Customer care again and reached them after waiting for 30 minutes (really? If you cannot provide Customer care service, please don't expand the customer base and not attempt new connections). The customer care told the same answer as in the morning. I know there is NO problem as such. I live in an Apartments where there are 50+ ACT connections and it is workking for all of them. It is not working for me alone because the installation or activation is a problem. Now the customer care told it would be done by 8PM tomorrow. I am fed up and frustated. How do I believe it will be done by tomorrow when I was told the same from last week. 7) The biggest complaint is the non responsiveness of the customer care when I tried in all means for last 8 days, I didn't get even a single call from anybody. I thought to escalate the issue and asked the customer care to give me the email id to escalate and they didn't give me that too. Now having wasted all my time and effort for last 8 days, I am left with no option. NOW IN NEXT 24 HOURS EITHER ACTIVATE MY CONNECTION OR CANCEL MY CONNECTION AND REFUND MY MONEY (WITH NO PENALTY).           Since the Vardah cyclone, ACT customers in Chennai had been terribly experiencing no internet connectivity for the last 15 days. The worst part is that the helpline number of ACT is always busy and is not reachable at all and they have not taken any measures to give ETA for the customers for restoration of internet services. The daily routine and work from home option provided by company is bleeding and still the concerned personnel are yet to check and fix the services. Worst to the core...Moving the Airtel Optic fibre ASAP...

            I have been having issues with ACT broadband for last 2 Weeks. The local cable operator has been cutting the ACT cable. I understand that it is very less ACT could do to avoid the situation, but the least that they could do is resolve the issue on time. In the last 14 days, my internet is down for 7 days. Wire has been cut 3 times. I told them to check on the legal, the call center folks told that I dont have to worry about it and they will deal with it. ofcourse, they will need to deal with it, but the one who is impacted is me. My internet is still down. There is a nodal officer, even that is seem to be useless. even after the escalation to Nodal officer, the reactions are same and no hope of getting the issue resolved.

              The service given by act is the worst! Its not just once or twice the net doesn't work...but I've been facing a problem every week..from the past 2 months..every week i call them up and tell them its not working...they fix it n its gone again. I tell them its iv been facing the problem every week..n i please need permanent solution for it..but they just say sorry for what happened..n its repeating! N this week was the worst..from the past 4 days the net is not working.. Yesterday i did complain them..but there is still no response. The now when I'm trying to call them the line keeps showing busy! Worst worst worst! Really did not expect such worst service by such a big company!                 I have requested for a new ACT fibernet connection on 2nd of September and with payment of Rs 1696. I was promised that the connection will be done within 3 days. However, even after waiting for 12 days and almost 10 to 20 calls to their customer care, I am still awaiting for any response from ACT. Above all, during this entire period I have registered my complaint around 8 to 10 times and till date haven't received a single call back from ACT. Every time I call them to get the same update that we have escalated your complaint and it will be resolved in 24 Hrs. I am fed up of all this drama and feel cheated.                         Hi All, I asked for reactivation of services and I was informed that there would not be any reactivation charges because I resumed the services in one month. However when I got the bill they have included reactivation charges. I called to customer care and after 15-20 minutes of waiting over the phone I got chance to speak to the representative. My complaint was registered and I was told it would be resolved. Next day I got a message stating my complaint was resolved, however there was no action taken. Again I called to customer care, again registered the complaint and again got the message that complaint was resolved. It happened approximately 5 times and lastly I paid the reactivation charges because of no other options and this is very disappointing and it shows they don't value their customers. This company don't even look after the complaints, just close it without solving and their customer service people don't know anything except to register complaint.                           ACT Broadband,

                          Guys once you were the best ISP of Hyderabad. Best in speed, consistency, service. But unfortunately every of your highs are going down the gutter. Speed has come down way too much, and worst is the connectivity problem in the recent times.
                          No internet in the peak hours. Way too much of inconsistency. I have to exhaust my mobile data plan due to the incompetency of your service.
                          Skype calls are worst.

                          Every morning you send a message of some intermittent issues, while on paper your connectivity just goes blank and no resolutions whatsoever.

                          Your customer service is pathetic. I can never get through the CC number. Once I managed to get through the IVR but it made me wait for 20 mins after which I had to disconnect the call.

                          Do something. Look into these issues.

Once they got the money from you they will show their original faces. Never trust Beam. I have paid money for new connection on 07.09.2015, till now I didn't get any connection.

                                I am disappointed with the service. I applied for new connection on 5th sep., The executive came on same day and collected the documents/6th month advance. The cabling and connection is not done yet even after 5 days. I have called at customer care multiple times but there is no positive response, No one has yet come for connection.                                   Hi Complaint No: [protected] I have raised this complaint on Monday(07-Sep-2015) Morning and still the Complaint is yet to get resolved/attended. The complaint has been closed 2 times (Tuesday 8th Sep and Wednesday 9th Sep) without checking if internet connection is resolved. Every time i call they say we will get resolved by tonight 8:00 PM and days are passing already 4 days without internet. I deeply regret to have taken this connection. Please do not opt for ACT connection we are in Bannerghatta road area. The connection is very bad and frequent disconnect happens to internet. Regards, Krishna

                                    #beamfiber, Unfortunately, this is the 3rd time within 2 weeks that I am login a complaint. Why dont you guys respond back when we are coming up with issues again and again. When i call you, you endup giving me temporary solutions. I am not even able to login into the network. Worst thing is it was urgent and in spite of having internet (So called) i had to visit the internet shop to do my work.

                                      Dear act fibernet,

                                      Can u believe this, your fix provided for Internet service not working lasted 2 days only after about 10 days of service disruption.
                                      With due respect you guys are serious talents but clearly does not belong to anything related to Internet.try circus or conning.

                                      In last 45 days, I have used Internet for not more than 10 days, thnx to your effort to finding permanent fix, which clearly is rocket science to your dumb technicians.

                                      Please fix the issue or give my money back and disconnect the service. Will appreciate if you can do it in 24 hrs not like past where it took you 16 days or 10 days.

                                      Dear act fibernet,

                                      It is now 16 days that my internet is not up. Request you to stop acting smart by raising new tickets and closing old ones and look into the matter. I would request if you guys are convinced that you are incapable to restoring Internet, please refund my money.
                                      Also a sincere feedback for you guys : You are pathetic. Feel proud that you are worst service provider and you manage to recruit worst, dumbest and most irritating people as your call centre folks.

                                      My earlier complain on 20 th for your reference, just to show how efficient you guys are...

                                      My internet is down again. Last time it was down on 14th August, got restored on 17th August after lots of follow up with customer care and this forum. Now on 20th of August it is down again.

                                      Now my hassle of getting the complain lodged will start all over again. Getting access to their call center is really a pain but what is more insulting is the response I get that within 24 hrs it will resolved when they have resolved it for days or weeks but they will repeat it with same conviction.

                                      "I have been trying to call beam service centre for 4 hrs but always getting busy tone. Normally I have to try for 1 hr to get to lodge my complain, but today it is over 4 hrs.
                                      Basis my past experience where last time it took you 14 days to get my internet up, however your call Centre executives were able to get on call with 1 to 1.5 hrs. Now they are also an elusive commodity. Just wondering if this time you will take months to restore the net, but that stage will come once I am able to log complain. Let's see how it goes"

                                        In the month of August ie 03/08/2015 I cleared the bill (monthly rental) of amount 1198 rs. After the payment Internet was not working in the span two weeks continuously. If I regester a complaint they used to send messages saying its fixed during my working hours, but still Internet was not working. For a span of about 1.5 weeks internet was good and again this month (6/09/2015) Internet is not working again. These made me register this complaint aginst act broadband. I am attaching messages in my cell phone as a proof.
