Hi, My account # is[protected] from Begumpet, Hyderabad and my name is Chandrashekar. I think that the calculation done by ACT (usage by FUP) seems to be wrong as it is showing always high usage even when I don't use the internet a lot. Secondly, it is so sad that the email id given in their website [protected]@actcorp.in seems to be a fake email id as I have not received either an acknowledgement or a reply from them so far even after raising/ sending an email 2 days ago. I also feel that the Nodal Officer as well as the Appellate email ids provided seems to be either incorrect or fake as there is no response from them, which means that I seemed to be cheated THOROUGHLY BY ACT FIBERNET by publishing fake email ids on their website per Cyber Crime. I have sent an email to all them asking for some info. as per RTI act but so far they have not provided it to me even though I have paid 6 months of the amount in advance already, whereas I keep receiving emails/ SMS starting of each month stating that I am due to pay the amount which is very annoying as I have already the amount but why I am being harassed in this fashion by these people I don't understand. Hi, Hope your people would get in touch with me soon as it never has happened before and not sure if it would happen this time either. Again it is so surprising as to why there is no reply even after 3 days from the customer care email id to which I have sent an email asking for some info. at [protected]@actcorp.in or from the Nodal officer.

I am also experiencing the same issue. Within 7 days of FUP reset, my FUP was completed even though my usage could not have caused 50 GB to be completed in 7 days. I requested them to share my usage details by email. The email was [protected]@actcorp.in (on 7th Oct 2015) no reply ever came. So I mailed to the other support email address, support.[protected]@actcorp.in (on 13th Oct 2015) and finally to the nodal officer. And I am waiting for the reply.

I had to reset mid month (17th Oct 2015) because of this without possible explanation. I feel cheated and ignored.

P.S.
How come your support email address for getting detailed usage is not mentioned in the customer login account page: http://portal.actcorp.in/group/hyd/myaccount. Please provide a easy way to access the complete usage log
without needing to go throught these unnecessary hassle of email chain. I know you can do it.

I am new to this forum, so please do tell me incase I need to create a seperate post for this complaint. I will do so.

    I got the status "Network Cable Unplugged" in my computer which clearly means there is a fiber cut/cable disjoint somewhere, due to which I am not able to access internet from the last 4 days. When I called the support people initially they raised a complaint #[protected] and been told that the issue will get resolved within 24 hrs. Pathetically issue dint resolved and I had to write up followup mails to "[protected]@actcorp.in" and keep on contacting the customer care over phone and ended up with the same answer "24 hrs". when I asked for the escalation point, they replied that they dont have any contacts handy. But ACT Team are very active on sending reminder messages for bill payment. I dont know what these technicians are doing for resolving my issues as It is left open for 4 days and no solution provided. Thanks, Kranthi

      My internet connection went down on OCt 6th 2015 and when I called customer care they said it will be resolved within 24 hrs. So waited till next daya evening but the internet was still down. So called them back again and they said the same, it will be resolved next day. Asked the agent to connect to supervisro bu tthe response I got the is that the supervisor is busy and hence will arrange a callback. Waited till next day but the Internet was still down . Again called them at 7.20PM. Teh agent sait my issue wotn be resolved for next 5 days. and when asked to connect to his manager, again got the same response: Manager is busy on another call, cannot conenct to him, will arrange a call back within sometime. Again called back them at 8PM. This time the agent said it will be resolved the next day. When asked to manager, again same response: Manager is on another call, cannot connect to him. Will arrange a call back within 30 mins. But there were no call backs done and their response is so bad that they cant even understand customer problems. And there were no calls arranged from field agent or managers to atleast give a minimum update on teh status. The reason I took broadband connection is to be able to work from home and and there has been a lot of pressure during these days due to delay in my office work

      Called teh ACT Customer care and spoke to their floor supervisor
      Floor manager says WE WILL TAKE OUR TIME IF NEEDED YOU CAN TAKE TAKE ANOTHER CONNECTION.
      The attitude fo floor manager is that we dotn even care for customers and kind of says get lost
      The way he spoke gave an indication that ACT is planning to close the business and hence not caring for customers

        Dear Sir, I registered for "New Broad Band connection with "ACT FIBERNET"Bangalore on 23rd Aug & I paid Rs.1530/- by cheque on 27th Aug.The box also got installed at my place 20th Aug, 2015.Now the Customer care department is not giving me B/B connection stating the problem of "Local Cable Operator".As I have already purchased Router online on the instruction of their "Technical Service Man" that N300 Series Netgear Company by paying Rs.1209/.Now I am being forced to cancel the registration & take the refund and today on 7th Oct 2015, they have cancelled my registration without my knowledge & consent and they refunded my money to my account that is Rs.1530/-. Though On 14th Sep only I received a call that my installation will be done between 21st Sept to 24th Sep.No one even called up, and on 30th Sep, 2015 I got two calls to cancel the registration & take the refund.This is absolutely ridiculous & not acceptable. Now who will bear the expence of my router?I request you to look in to this matter and do the needful & please take some exemplary step so they should not cheat any one.They should refund me the money of the router which is of no use to me.         ACT FIBERNET: Poor Service and pathetic connectivity
        My account Id: 1371692.
        I got my new ACT broadband connection activated on 17 Jan 2016. Since then my internet connection went down for 4th time. Last time my internet went down on 31st Jan 2016. Since then 4 days have been passed still my internet connection is not restored. First I registered complaint on 31st Jan (Request no [protected]), I was told that it will be resolved within 4 hours. Forget about 4 hours, its already 4 days since my connection is down. I have been following up with them 2-3 times on daily basis (and hell they do not have toll free number, every time I was charge 10 to 15 bucks to call them). ACT customer care won't bother to follow up with customer. Every time you have to follow up with them and they assure you that ticket will be resolved within 24 hours.
        On 2nd Feb I got message that Request no [protected] has been resolved, I checked but there was no connectivity for me. Again I called the customer care, they told there is another connectivity issue and registered a complaint (Request no [protected]) and told me that it will be resolved within 24 hours. Now its over 2 days but still it is not resolved. If you call the customer care, they tell that they do not have any info about the time to resolve this issue. What the hell is this? Such a disgusting and pathetic service. If you can not provide the proper service then you should not have followed up at the time when I was looking for connection. Initially when you go for new connection everyone will follow you up, once you pay then they are done with their job. Then why the hell they think customer should pay for. I am still regretting my decision of going for ACT instead of AIRTEL broadband. If my connectivity issue is not resolved, I will discontinue this connection and will go to consumer court against ACT.

        NOTE: PLEASE DON'T GO FOR ACT CONNECTION. POOR CONNECTIVITY, PATHETIC SERVICE. WHAT'S THE USE OF GOING FOR ISP WHICH DO NOT PROVIDE YOU INTERNET HALF OF DAYS IN A MONTH.

        ACT Broadband — Warst Service

        Dear Sir I am reg complaint for yesterday not visit today any time complaint registered but not solwed complaint, msg for resolved for any time

        No Follow Up on the issue

        No status or confirmation on the issue 13822842. I have already raise complaint twice, with no solution the issues were closed[protected] and[protected].
        Worst customer service. The Bangalore ACT enabled HOOQ without consumer consant and charged 75Rs for most of the people without any intimation. They are reverting the amount to only those who call up and shout. The moment it is their mistake they show you true color. No respect to customers. They are depended on your electricity for junctionbox and give a discount of 50Rs. Then they give connection from this junctionbox to all and you find more and more cables getting accumulated on roof top. Their callcenter number is chargable line and eat up your mobile bill as well as they keep you on hold for longer. Via email they never respond to your query. Most of the email replies are scripted.Never ever.
        I have opted for new ACT broadband connection and have made the payment and document was verified, but till now the installation is not yet completed. Customer care is also not responding and their social media support is not at all replying. Please look into this issue.

          Hi, I am on Act fiber (earlier Beam)for last 6 yrs. After Beam has been taken over by Act, the service has utterly declined AS Rao Nagar region. I am due to pay my bill and I have requested for a package downgrade and discount for the box installed at my place. Every year it becomes a huge tussle for me at this point of the year to convey the same and the invoice corrected. I have called the custmor care last week and they said they would give me a call in a 24hrs. I am waiting still and no one has called yet. since last three day[protected] number is continuously engaged and it does nt take us to the IVR. please correct the same and revert to us at the earliest. My account number is[protected]. I am resident of HYDERABAD AS RAO NAGAR. Name is Anand Pendyala. My bill is due today. I worried if they disconnect at and I will have to go through another tussle for the same. Quickly address. Stop this horrible service.

            Hi, I have raised a ticket :[protected] with Beam on 4th Oct 2015 that my internet connection is not working since 3rd Oct 2015 and they said within 24 hrs it will be resolved. Now its 6th Oct 2015 and still the issue is not fixed after multiple calls and emails.                 User Id : 159387 I got my ACT broadband on 7th September and got it working only on 16th September after raising so many tickets and escalations (I can attach all mails and consumer complains if required). I specifically mentioned in all those mail as well that my billing should start from 16th September as the internet connection started working only since then. Also the marketing person told me that if I pay for 6 months in advance (Rs.7180 for 6 months for ACT Storm) then 7th month is free and installation is free as well. Now Rs. 500 is charged. Reference : http://www.consumercomplaints.in/act-broadband-internet-connection-not-working-c... (I have other mail conversions as well) So please correct the following in my statement of account: 1) Billing should from 16th September and NOT from 7th September 2) Revert the installation charge of Rs.500 as I was told that by paying 6 months advance, the installation is free. Please do the needful at the earliest and please send me the corrected statement of account. I don't want to go through all levels of escalation again.

                  The Act customer service is very bad that too if someone is fortunate enough he will get the service after 13 days. And If one ask them regarding bill as he did not used the net for 13 days then he will get a reply that "we registered your complaint yesterday only and we cleared your complaint today."It shows their customer’s record (camplaint, usage) maintenance and their calculated billing system(I experienced it in September). One more thing their customer care service is the worst one. There you can get IVR only. No one would response your call.

                  Then why should I cheat one more fool to use this facility to get 25% discount that too I am damn sure I will not get it.

                    have tried to contact the customer care from past two days but every time it is engaging.I dont know are they intentionally kept a phone a side.I am not getting the actual internet speed which they are offering me (10 mbps). Yesterday i was not able to watch a low stream video.                       I tried to check with beam customer care about the ticket i raised on 30/09/2015 Ticket no:[protected]. We didnt not get internet for more than 24 hrs. I tried to call the customer care several times on 01/10/2015, Finally when i called around 3:30PM to [protected], I asked the customer care representative to connect to her supervisor. She said she will connect and put me on hold for 1 hour. These people are playing with the customers, whats the point of having customer care then, instead they are harassing the customers.

                        I had very bad experience from last 6th months. Every month am facing disconnection of internet and on calling frequently you people take action, but not on single call.                         I have recently activated ACT Fibernet connection. It generally stops working once in every 2 weeks There is no internet connectivity since 28th Sep 2015 till date. I have called customer care (which is of no use) and i was informed that they would get it fixed within 24 hours. Having said that, they never got it fixed WITHIN 24hours, it always took more than 24hours. They should stop promising their customers to give false promises and mention clearly that they will START working on the complain AFTER 24hours. I happened to call again on 19th Sep 2015. They informed me that they cannot do anything as i need to wait for 24 hrs no matter how urgent my issue is. I spoke to the Supervisor Ram and he assured me a call back from a technician. The technician called after few hours and told me that there is a power outage and the issue will be fixed by evening (which didn't happen). I called customer service again today in the morning and spoke to Ram again. I was assured that the issue will be fixed in few hours and i will get a call from technician. I waited for 8 hours and haven't heard from them. I called customer service again.This time Karthik answered my call. He told that the issue will be fixed tomorrow. But no one has called me and informed me that the resolution time will be delayed. I seriously am not happy with the service they provide. I am not sure even if they are taking my calls and complaints seriously. I cannot let my work effect everyday. I am tired of listening to their common phrase they use (24hrs, i understand, i am sorry). All these don't help me. I want my issue to be fixed.                           Hi, This is mahendra sagar from Edi bazar Hyd, I have act fiber internet connection a/c no is[protected]. I have purchased act wifi router from ATRIA CONVERGENCE TECHNOLOGIES PVT LTD on May 28th 2015. They have assured life time warranty for the same but the day i purchsed its have problem on connectivity, i have raised complait almost 100+ time every time call center guys says sorry and it will resolved in 24 hrs and they will create a ticket and very next moment i will get sms saying ticket was closed and issue has been solved. Router has been exchanged twice even though problem persist same. i need my money back so becase ATRIA CONVERGENCE TECHNOLOGIES PVT LTD had cheated me selling fake product.

                            In past we had Beam Fiber internet service. Because we were not satisfied with the quality of service we requested for disconnection. At the time of disconnection request we had 0 rupees due.

                            After due period we switched to BSNL Internet and stopped using Beam Fiber.

                            Beam Fiber has generated a future bill of some 6000 rupees and sending SMS that because we have not paid the bill the service is disconnected.

                            This is ATROCIOUS and harassment to me.

                            I want consumer complaints to send Beam fiber notice to stop harassing me and send me apology letter.

                            For your information Beam Fiber is now changed name to ACT Fibernet.

                              Hi, We asked for Broadband connection with Static IP, they took more than 2 months for implementation and still they not provided the static IP.When we asked for same, they are asking for Network diagram .Hope it is not mandatory for TRI and no information is provided before taking order.After calling to customer care, Ms. Sindhu has picked call and given very bad response and end of the call they took my disconnection request.                                 There is no internet connection for the since Sep 24, 2015. I have escalated the issue to [protected]@acttv.in and the internet were restored for one hour on Sep 26, 2015. Since then (Sep 26, 2015) there is no internet signals and connection. I tried calling customer service as well and it is always busy. In one of reply from customer care executive of Actt, I was told to re log in, When there are no signals, how the hell they expect me to re log in. This is the most pathetic service and very unprofessional way of handling the issue. All my works have been pending as there were no internet connection. Are the bangalore actt fraud or are they commit for customer? This is really nightmare and frustrating experience. Need the internet to be restored as soon as possible.

                                  We have requested for ACT Internet connection.
                                  It is more than 3 weeks now and no response from ACT. None is picking calls or attending the customer.

                                  Mr. Mahesh +91-[protected] was sales person. We have called more than 200 times and left messages but nothing is working.

                                    I am fed up of reaching out to the officials of act broadband service. each month they disconnect the broad band service for 10 to 15 days and still they charge the full amount saying there is connectivity issues in the area. if connectivity issues is there then it is their problem not mine. they have promised service and i am spending my money. since i work from home i have to go to internet cafes to do my work and i have spend a lot over these months even though i have broadband at home. no body responds to me at the helpdesk even after continous calls. email replies comes after three days. i want to sue this company and take my money back for all the suffering that i have faced. Pathetic company and useless people. Fake promises over internet advertisement. People should know about this company and not fall for their trap. #cheateractbroadband

                                      I did inter city shifting in Bangalore. I requested for re-installation in new place with Act customer care. From 15 days I am behind Act people. I am again and again calling them. Everyday they say madam today it will be done. 2 times they visited my new place but still it is not done. They took Rs 500 from me for re-installation. I am fed up with their bad customer service.
