I don't have internet connection for the last 4 days and I stay in Thiruvanmiyur, Chennai. On 10.11.2015, connection was lost which was resolved on 12.11.2015. Again on 14.11.2015, connection was lost and am still awaiting for my connection to resume. Interestingly, this is only my 2nd month with ACT service. The Field Engineers are so 'sarcastically helpful' that they assure you to get things on track within next 2-3 hours but unfortunately they don't even turn up for the next 2-3 days. When ACT is good, its good but if connection goes, then its so frustrating. Hoping to get my connection back. Regards Kaushik ID 11351366

When j call to customer care they say that within 15mins it will be resolved and since 2days there is no response. Worst ever service after they moved to act group.       Hi, I was provided a new ACT cable fibernet after paying Rs. 3, 981/- which was installed on 7-Nov-2015. Since 8-Nov-2015 8pm, there has been no internet connection and i have submitted repeated complaints to their customer service number but they promise the issue to be fixed by 4-12 hours. It has been 7 days since my first complaint and no one has attended to this issue. I received a mail stating that they would fix the issue on priority but no action has been taken and no one has fixed the issue. Another major issue is, if I need to raise a complaint, i have to call the customer care number[protected] which most of the time states "Number does not exist" or "Number busy". There is no way to reach the service provider and restore the connection. Can you please restore the internet connection as promised (4-12 hours) or return the amount collected from me and take back the connection? USER NAME : 11416267 Ph: [protected]

          I had applied for ACT Fibernet - ACT Blaze 1049 for 6 Months + 1 month Free + Zero Installation to Rangaiah (9089) with CAF number 300500 with cheque payment of Rs 7175/- on 14th Oct 2015.

          Cheque was cleared on 19th Oct 2015, if you calculate the working days it is more than 10 working days to provide a new broadband connection. However, I called your customer care on 30th Oct 2015 and received an request number [protected] and the representative informed it will be resolved within 24 working hours.

          Again, I called on 3rd Nov 2015 and received a response that they will forward it to their back-end team. I informed the representative that I have waited for long time and I won't wait further. If the connection is not placed at my place by tomorrow i, e 4th Nov 2015, 10 AM IST.

          I would lodge a consumer complaint against ATRIA CONVERGENCE TECHNOLOGIES PVT.LTD, Golden Heights, 59th 'C' Cross,
          4th 'M' Block, Rajajinagar, Bangalore 560 010, Karanataka.

          Then, make sure that I cancel the subscription and get the amount paid thru check with Interest. At 2:50 PM I received a message from ACT stating " Dear Customer, your Request [protected] will be attended by 15-Nov-2015 14:48. T&C apply, Team ACT, Helpline [protected] "

          If this was the case then ACT should advertise stating " Once you apply for new connection it will take 1 month to complete the process " instead of 10 working days.

          I'm hereby providing you an opportunity to resolve this issue ASAP.

          Called up[protected] which is Nodal Officer number and spoke with Mr Manjunath and he requested 1 days time to check and get back to me. No update until I connected them.

          6th Nov 2015

          Dialed[protected] which is Nodal Officer number and spoke with Mr Praveen, and he said we require a 1 week time before you (Santhosh) can lodge a complaint in Consumer Court. I agreed and gave him time till 10th Nov 2015 as I had initially lodged the complaint with Nodal Officer on 3rd Nov 2015. Also, informed that in 60 meters distance from my residence they have provided a connections to entire Apratment when there was no Fibre cable layed in our location. Now they say as there is no connectivity it will take some time for it. This shows that they are not interested in Single User conncetion they want only Bulk Connections.

          12th Nov 2015

          Dialed[protected] spoke with Mr Manjunath and he offered refund of the amount which I had paid towards " ATRIA CONVERGENCE TECHNOLOGIES PVT.LTD " since, it will take long time to provide connection. However, they will keep the account active. Once the connection is available at my place they will contact me and provide me a connection. I informed him that on your Sales Agent words cancelled my BSNL Broadband, now I'm I don't Internet connection at my house. After, stating this Mr Manjunath asked time until Monday to check with the Site Engg. I have agreed for that as well.

ACT fibernet is so pathetic that they didnt even visit the place and install the connection which we used for 15 months. ACT fibernet ruthlessly forcing us to live without internet in Alwarpet, Chennai for 13 days now... still they made NO effort to resolve and their customer care number also not working. Kindly make ACT pay for their poor service and i had suffered huge revenue loss due to this.. which i can prove. Contemplating to file a case in consumer court, chennai. Regards, Anbunathan

                    I've been moved to a new house and have informed the Beam fiber team about the installation of internet. They have informed will get a call from technical team within 24 hrs. It's been 56 hrs and have been informing them but there is no proper response from the team. A very bad service from the customer care.

                      I am from Hyderabad. I am using ACT FIBER internet, and my plan is 40 Mbps / A-Max 1050. Since from 3 months my net speed was very low and even i raised a complaint with the customer care. And there will be no solution and they finally send me a message to my mobile stating that the complaint ticket has been closed. And the problem has been not solved. Please get me solution with this.

                        Firstly I'm not going to accept any apology from ACT customer team because I'm fed up of hearing their apologies every time I complained about internet connectivity problem. from past 7-8 months I have logged more than 10 complains on the internet problem and these guys takes their own time to fix the problem. Kindly take appropriate action against ACT company for taking money in advance and not providing the internet connectivity.                           ACT provided me a router with the connection and they claim the router to be their property for 3 years from the date of activation. From the past many months, i have been calling customer care for the same problem and providing me temporary solution instead of fixing it. Now they closed the complaint without resolving it and now are not even responding.

                          ACT called me now and told the following.
                          1. ACT representative told me that they need to do basic troubleshooting, while they did the same exact troubleshooting for the past 6-7 exact same complaints.(Is it necessary to do the exact same troubleshooting ?)
                          Also the last customercare call told me that it was browser problem on my laptop (wow!)
                          2. Representative visited my place and checked the router, while actually all he did was just come and tell me that the router needs to be replaced(he did not even look at the router, must have been a magician, as everytime troubleshooting was done.)
                          3. On the call ACT representative told me that, when i take 12 months advance plan, they will provide free router and will serve for 6 months only after which they will ask me to contact the vendor. If i opt before 2 years, they will take back the router and if i stay for 3 years, the router will be mine. He also told that all these details is mentioned in the application form.
                          4. I want ACT to tell me that this router problem has occurred only to me. And that they were not aware of the problem with the Linksys E900 earlier. If this is not the case, then they are deliberately providing a faulty router to every customer.
                          Had i known that the router wasnt a good one, i would have gone for the extra internet and buy a router myself.

                            Worst internet provider in bangalore

                            I am using ACT broadband from last month and its the worst internet service provider in Bangalore.I was using Hathway Internet Connection before and got frustrated with the internet service provided by them and decided to use ACT.Trust me ACT is horrible.Never think about using this internet connection.Most of the time, internet does not work and it takes 30 min to get connected to the customer care.Every day i raise 3-4 service requests...

                            Hi, I am Pritam from Koramangal, Bangalore. I have been facing the same technical issue multiple time which I have been assured that I would not face again. I have been without any internet for 3days repeatedly wihout any compensation. I pay for 30days internet service.

                            Upon calling customer care, they will keep us on hold for 10 mins and after getting through to a customer rep and completing 1 min conversation I would have spent rs25 on an average. This is a big issue from their part. They dont have a toll free number. I have to call them multiple time to get the issue fixed. I usually end up spending rs 100 on an average for fixing 1 issue and conversation time of about 4 mins. This has happend multiple times.
                            When I called them today they say that this is my first complaint which is not true. I had received about another 3 complaint numbers earlier but I dont have them now as i had reset my phone. I dont know if you can check or get earlier messages but if you can retrieve, you can get the complaint numbers. If you check my call history from [protected] to[protected] you will come to know how much money I have spent to get a rep on phone.

                            After all this and getting the issue fixed, they will just apologize on phone or sometimes they dont even do that. They dont even try or say a word of compensation for all this ruckusin any form either by bill amount reduction, extra data or increase in validity.

                            You resolved only one part. But there are other complaints too. What about the compensation part. There was no internet for 3 days and tour call service. What about that. I dont need your apology. This has been repeated multiple times. You either compensate in the form of data or dicount in your monthy fee or take your connection back otherwise I would be bound to take legal action. There is too much of harrasment from you guys.

                            Internet is very import for us as we work from home too and that leads to loss of money for that day.

                              Dear sir/ madam I am writing this email regarding a complaint against internet proble and the rude behaviour of the beam mehdipatnam branch. My registered mobile no for beam connection is [protected], where you can get my details and complaints which I have filed. I was getting internet problem since 3-4 month, I.e atleast twice a month where their wont be internt for 8-10days. When the problem started in the first two month I never complained and the problem use to be solved with in 3-4 days with neighbours complaints. But since 2 month the problem was repeating every 2weeks and I started regisstering complaint. Their is a problem in the main switch which they are not changing it, every time they come they just unplug the wire and plug it to the other port. After 15days I got the same problem again and I registerd a conplaint on 3rd nov 15, and where they said me, the technician will come with in 24hrs . On 4th nov 15 I was calling the mehdipatnam branch (beam fiber) they were just telling me that customer will come after 2hrs then when I called them after 2hrs they said me the same thing thet he is having lunch he will come after 2hrs and when I asked him to connect me to the manager so that I can complaint about this problem, they did not connect me to the manager and they were talking rudely and unprofessionally and when I said I will complaint about this behaviour one the guy was telling " kuch b nai karsakte" what the hell how can your staff will talk in rude manners. I dont know how a reputed company is hiring illiterate people and filthy people where they are spoiling company name. I want the company to take strong against the mehdipatnam staff and I need a reply action which will be taken against them and aswell as I want the company to refund my money for the internet problem which is almost 20-24 days in total (3-4months) or add those days to my package.                                 I have paid Rs2700/- for a 6 month service on October 20, 2015. But I had never got a connection as there was a service issue from ACT Fibernet side. They only raised a refund request (Ticket No : [protected]), but when I contact the customer care for the status they are not providing details and saying some back end team will connect but they never contacted me.
                                Today (September 4, 2015) I go the below mail saying last invoice amount is 2696/-. How could they generate an invoice for a connection that was not provided. What does this mean? Customer care was never able to answer my queries. Refund ticket is still active but they are not providing any details on when I will get it. Please help me with this.

                                  The following are my details Username : [protected]@gmail.com Account ID : [protected] Subscribed Speed / Pkg : 100 Mbps / Incredible 2499 I have been facing slow and intermittent connection since three months, you can cross check with my user details. It sure is more of a harassment from your company to have such poor customer care service. I have made multiple calls for rectification and the technician always comes up with the story of SERVER/SWITCH issue from your site. As i am paying a good hefty amount I do not bother about want issues your infrastructure has. Also there is ZERO backup as opposed to the 2 hours backup promised. To top it up tickets are closed without rectifying the issues and till takes min 3 days for the connection to be up again once its lost. Please rectify the issues on priority or it will cost you losing out on a valued customer thank you, Major RK Nirban

                                    They have quiet fancy ADs, but their services sucks-

                                    I regret to inform you that your services are pathetic and I will not recommend your poor service to any one.

                                    Absolutely bad, uncourteous service.

                                    I made the full payment of 1270 INR on Saturday 24th Oct 2015 to Umesh ([protected]) from ACT (CF[protected] & got the verification the next day User ID:1309714 who doesn't even response to my call.

                                    I haven't yet received any information nor has any installation has happend till date

                                      As of 31st October 2015, I raised an issue with ACT customer care using the contact number[protected]. I wanted to disconnect the existing service so that I do not get billed for another month. The first request call placed on 12:50 pm was disconnected without any verbal reason after I mentioned that I want to discontinue. The second call was received with a 10 minute delay and the person on phone assured that their executive will call back within 24 hours and did not provide any service ID. As of November 1st 10:00PM I am yet to receive their call and since I don't have any service ID, no proof that I raised a disconnect request. All I have is a call log in my mobile phone which lasted a total of 20 minutes.

                                      After a series of mails and comments in this forum, the issue was handled swiftly and resolved as of November 5th morning 11:30 AM. I would really appreciate if the ACT takes all service requests seriously and resolve without having to call them or send mails repeatedly. Another lesson learnt is never to pay for 6 months or 12 months in advance as we customers have nowhere to go if the internet goes down.

                                      Just to be sure, I forwarded the screenshot from this page to [protected]@acttv.in on 10 PM November 1st. I have been notified by Rukmini, Executive - Customer Service, that the issue will be resolved within 24 "working" hours as of 9:54 AM November 2nd. I haven't received any call or confirmation so far.

                                      Waiting for you to get in touch with me. I don't really understand why it is so hard for you to terminate the connection.
                                      I have sent another email to the customer service executive asking about updates. If it is terminated, please confirm that either by SMS or email. FYI, the service request [protected] is still open from my end.

                                      Since, I raised the request as of 31st October 2015, I will not be paying the bill for November month.
