We had applied for a new wifi connection with ACT TV in Kormangala area of Bangalore. A sales person called Jaffer had come to get the forms filled up and inform about connection. We made the payment of Rs 14, 351/- online on 12th June 2015. Its been more than one month today, we have not received any wifi router or modem and wifi connection has not been activated at our home. Details of connection Account Number is 1206144 Userid is 11230029 Phone no – [protected] Name – Rohit Musaddi We have tried to raise the issue several times with ACT customer support without any solution. The sales person Jaffer now does not pick up call or reply to messages. Request help from consumer forum to please get the money refunded or get the connection activated.

    11th June 2015 i raised complaint against server problem, almost one month it didn't resolved, when ever complaining its closing the complaint without resolving problem. i made call, 15+ times to the customer care and didn't resolved yet. because of my dignity i am not using any F* words. I am regretting to explain about their services. they provided one moth bill also without connection. how many times i will call to the customer care. if i am rating their services i will rate 0 for them. without server fixing and customer service what the use of 20mbps and all. with this service i wont suggest any of my friends or neighbor to take ACT Broadband.

      I have been using beam since 3 yrs and I have upgraded from 4mbps to 20 mbps then onwards I am facing frequent disconnections and they charge for 20mbps but speed is also very less around 9 mbps it is not 20 as promised by beam, they are simply looting people money they are cheaters.when ever I raise compliant with beam they close the ticket saying it is resolved.They will not ask the customer before closing. Act broadband service is very poor and their customer service is very poor. Please think twice before going to Act broadband. Purnima [protected]

        I have been trying to contact the customer care and there is no response and the service is not working since 7 days . Each and everytime i call the customer service they tell the problem gets resolved in 24hrs and a technician will come . But there is no respone and it is still not working. Now they have blocked the customer so that no one troubles them Since yesterday i have been trying to call them It is continuously busy. Please take action on such cheap companies

          I am using ACT Fibernet internet connection from 2 months but most of the time internet does not work and when I ask for some discount on payment, customer support is not giving me the satisfied answer and even they are not resolving my internet problem.             I am request sincerely not apply for ACT internet service in your life time. I applied the new connection 1 month back. After taking all the money and document they wont provide service and also wont return the money.They have very worst customer service who wont resolve any issue. As a responsible citizen of India I worned all the people not to take these connection and try to avoid these worst people in your life to make your money safe.

              My Customer Id is 284556. I am facing problems with my connection. It is my Office Connection. Since a Week I am experiencing problems with my Connection. I called customer care nearly 3-4time. Everytime I call i get assurance that the problem to be Rectified in 24hrs. and yes it does. But the very next day the same problem Arrives. I have requested customer care person to Permanent solution to this. Everytime they say yes this time it would be solved. but all went in Vein. I request the concern authority to please look in the matter & provide a solution permanently.

                Dear All, I wish to complain regarding the Internet Outage issue. Ticket No : 17731343 Contact Number - [protected] I am complaining because I have first raised the issue on 8th July, 8:00 AM. Since, then I had 15 follow-ups from my end but the insensitive customer care does not even have any courtesy or own any responsibility other than reading the same script every time. The customer care has broken its assurance 8 times regarding the commitment for the resolution. This a shame on you, and none of your technician picks up the call nor does visit the site to confirm the resolution or to understand the issue. Another bigger concern of torturing the customer by making him to wait for 1 hour to reach the escalation desk, but the customer still has to keep waiting as the escalation team is still not available after 1 hour too. I have never come across such pathetic, insensitive customer care service ever in my life. The problem is not resolved nor the technician visited the site to understand and solve the problem. I have been communicating that I am working from my home and internet is crtitical for my job but still the insensitive customer care has the same arrogant approach further frustrating the customer. Loss to Me: Three days of No Internet service 400 minutes of calls which is atleast 600 rupees. Further the frustration caused because of waiting over the call for 400 minutes and what not. I want you to get back to me with a explanation or I will have to resort to legal route to get this sorted out.

                  Hi I am from Hyderabad. We have been using act broadband for internet. We had shifted house recently and raised a ticket to customer care for shifting of connection to new address. I raised that ticket on Jun 16th. They have been contacting us since then but not giving any proper response. the Internet guys coming, checking everything and leaving without any information. Again we had to call customer care and this been repeating since many days. The people who ever is coming after raising ticket, saying that taking new connection wont take this much time so take new connection. When we had already paid for 6 months time, its loss for us taking new connection again. I am not sure where to complain on them for making us wait like stupids. Even now they didnt give us any final answer

                      Dear sir/Madam, ACT is the Most Pathetic service provider that I know of. I applied for a new connection with ACT on 2nd of June 2015 paying full years subscription fees which is14350/- Rs, the Marketing person promised that even though the official deadline is 7 -10 days, but he will try to get the connection activated within 2-3 days. I waited for 15 days, but there was no connection, then finally I had to call the Customer care I got the reply that there seems to be problem with cable operator in my area and they cannot provide the connection, Please note that they didn't call me to tell this issue and refund, instead they expected me to call them and again Request (not demand mind you) my money, the person said as per the policy I have to wait for another 7 days (this was on 22nd June), I don't know how their policy is applicable now as I am not even their customer, anyway I waited for 7 days, on the 7th day, one of the technician came to my house on (26th June) and said they will give me the connection nw, as I already waited for almost a month I reluctantly agreed to it. Then again, same story I called for my connection again, they said it will take few more days and the last promised date was 7th July, I waited till 6th July as no one turned to my house, I called them again and now they said that they cannot give me the connection back and they will refund the money back, and I am supposed to wait for another 7, days, 4 days, 8 days, this is the number given to me from different people on daily basis. I am really sick and tired of this, I demand my money be given back to me with the Interest for the amount that I paid, and also compensate for the damage they caused to my Wall installing the box without providing the connection, and for harassing me. I have been calling them everyday from past three days, and every one gives me a new date when I receive my money. I also sent three email explaining my ordeal to their help desk Id [protected]@alerts.acttv.in from my registered email id, and there is no reply to any of my email so far.                           I have referred my Friend with Reference Id :60960, He Got connection its been 21 days still i didn't receive any movie tickets, i called them several times and the answer which i get every time is you are gonna receive a call from our operator and u will have tickets with in 24 hours but i didn't receive any tickets, i called them 6 times after my friend got connection, i got the same reply but i didn't receive tickets previously i faced the same problem with act on different issue and it took us days and many calls to solve it, if customer support is to just listen to customer and not act on it what is the use for customers to call to customer care ?                             As I have been sending this mail to ACT Customer Service is Pathetic & it Sucks This is Sandham Neelu Devi with email id [protected]@yahoo.co.in Username : 10758172 My Account ID : 610726 Power discount was Rs. 44.50 for this entire period since the 1st month of Act Broadband installation itself so how come it's been reduced to Rs. 43.86 all of a sudden this time i.e., July 2015. Instead power discount should be increased taking inflation into account. This is not about the very very small sum of money that has been reduced but about not getting any response from the pathetic ACT Broadband customer service or whichever dept. concerned regarding my mail asking for the reason behind that. As I have been sending this mail to [protected]@alerts.acttv.in since last 2/3 days, no-one replied from your side. Do you even have a customer service dept. at all to solve or look into customers' complaints. I have been sending mails mentioning ASAP, don't you people working in ACT even know ASAP if not, it stands for As Soon As Possible that didn't necessarily mean you have to take more than 3 days and still no response. Or some stupid sitting behind the desk was getting those mails. If some stupid was getting those mails, do what you are employed for responding to customers' complaints? If you're so stupid to even realize what has been written in my previous mails and what is written now, then stupid people go ask for someone who can reply to mail ASAP. Why you stupid are so keen on only collecting money all the time without any customers' complaints response or clarification. ACT do response to my complaint ASAP ( for your knowledge's sake AS SOON AS POSSIBLE)

                              BEAM TELECOM – Worst ISP and pathetic customer service ( In My opinion )

                              I have had enough issues and trouble with Beam Telecom over the past 1 month and its getting difficult day by day for me to keep confidence on the ISP who have such worst service that they doesn’t even care to call their customers back and provide a legitimate explanation.

                              Here is the detail:-

                              Ticket#[protected]th june 2015)

                              Ticket#[protected]th july 2015- probably created as i said about suspension)
                              Ticket#[protected]th june 2015)

                              Total 3 days – 72 hrs downtime in June.

                              In July- 5 hours downtime and everytime its their fault but no one cares to call their customers/ or pay a visit to explain what happened.

                              Customer care rep’s don’t understand any situation and for them everything is resolvable within 24 hrs.
                              After 24 hrs, they will apologize and offer another 24 hrs.
                              This will go on…

                              Transferring to a supervisor takes so much time that you can probably take 2 rounds of a football stadium.
                              Supervisors ( as they call them) assure in air and has no legitimacy or value of it.

                              Being an IT engineer, i at times had to work from home and earlier i had told them that if this issue continues i will have to leave/ suspend the connection.
                              They will call only when the bills are not paid on time but never call when any customer is facing an issue with their services.

                              Horrible and weird in all ways, Beam is the worst ISP in all aspects.

                              On 4th July, the Beam technicians did something weird and i lost my internet for 5 hours.
                              I told the supervisor that if i dont get my connection back then i will leave Beam and will not pay the bills as beam will not compensate for the 3 days downtime, so why the hell will i bother about..
                              The supervisor said that i will get a call from the tech around 6:30 pm IST and that my issue will be resolved.
                              No one called..hence i called and asked the to suspend my connection for good.

                              I work in a company where my company pays back if the client suffers downtime because of our issues.

                              Cant tolerate such behaviour from a ISP or any service based company.

                              Improper/ Inappropriate service= No money.

                              Let them suffer as i did. I know that for any company customers are important. But not for beam.

                                Hi, I have registered a shifting request with Beam(ACT Fibres) to potalapally residency. It has been 3 days and I have not received any call from beam regarding the request. I have followed up with customer care numerous times and they always keep saying, I will get the call from back end team. I am fed up with the Beam service, I want to disconnect my request. If you are not able to provide the connection then please tell so rather misleading the customer with false hope.

The customer care has no idea what is going on. They throw it on supervisors but the ground team is completely missing and there is no support or adequate help.

                                    I had requested for the new connection after getting good review from my cousin about ACT in Ulsoor on 19th Jun 2015 & ACT representative came to our door step next day and collected all the documents and money for new connection said Min within 5 days i will get the connection. After the 2 days we had ACT technical guy come to our house to fix the connection box in my building and took my power connection and placed only wire for without connection said other person will come to make the connection in 2 days. Then later i had there technical team guys coming to my house for fixing new connections for neighbours when i asked them about my connection, informed tomorrow i will get it.Then all vanished no one came and i had been calling the customer care each day for status which is always busy to pick-up call. I have even registered the complaint each day one person from customer care people say i will inform my technical team, i want to understand does your technical team really exist. they say team will call you today but no one calls, each time i call back customer care they say me same answer i have even asked them to cancel the connection if they are unable to support even before i could get the connection. Now i am left with no connection and don't know will i even receive my money. My User ID:-1211649 Complaint number:-[protected]

                                      My Customer id is 153380. I had an argument over improper billing with an ACT representative and then they kinda gave me a breakup of the Invoice. Apologizing me for their mistake. But, when the invoice was generated the same story repeated. Now, it is become a routine to call the customer care and raise complaints. They have even slowed down my internet speed and I do not get the promised 30 Mbps for which they have charged me. I now have to live with this garbage connection for another month due to the prepaid policy. I must say their service sucks and would not recommend anyone to even try this operator. You will be cheated eventually and have to go through their unprofessional service. And off course the trauma associated with it. Be smart.. cos their service really sucks!!

                                        This is my first month o[censored]sing ACT fibernet. Before using this I had a very good impression about ACT. But actually ACT is providing the worst service in the city. Tikona and Metronet were far better than this. In my first month itself my net is disconnected for more than 10 days. I have spent more than 250 for calling customer care. They generally dont pickup before being online for 10/12 minutes. They are commiting to give a call back but not at all keeping there words, you have to call and start the process again. because of this problem i am not also not able to work from home. I have wasted 250/300 only to call the stupid and useless customer care, who will repay me this?????????? You people are just increasing the number of customer but not at all taking care of the quality.
