I have taken a connection 10 days ..Plan taken is 50Mbps UL and 50 Mbps DL. In evening time abruptly I get DL speed of 1-2 Mbps. Trying to reach customer care since last 10 days..Not able to reach CC even once. Mail the problem to helpdesk#acttv.in and [protected]@acttv.in Today finally got 1 call from CC and was told that now this problem wont be seen... Within 15 mins faced same probelm... Trying to reach customer care since last 1 hour...Call not picked up even single time.. Result of speed provided to me http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/[protected]

    We paid money for new connection to ACT Fibernet on 29th May 2015 but till now didn't get connection. We tried calling to the person who came to our house as their representative after 2 days from 29th May he stopped answering our calls and instead gave us another number. Fisrtly that another guy received our calls and every time promised that net will get start within 24hrs but till now the issue is not resolved and now that guy is also not picking our calls. We dropped a mail to the customer care of the company but didn't got any call or reply to our complaint mail. Its like they are harassing the customers.       ACT, I have been your customer for a long time. Recently, I shifted place and I am looking forward to continuing with you, PROVIDED u agree to give me a connection at my new residence. It's absolutely pathetic and frustrating that you deny giving me your connection when I do see your advertisements in my area. I do not accept the resolution offered. Your connection is at a distance of less than 100 - 150 meters and yet you refuse to provide me connection on the garb of feasibility. I need you to resolve my issue. I am your returning customer, you cannot treat me like this. All I am asking is a damn 20 Mbps connection, is it that freaking troublesome for you to provide me one when a customer is so desperate and doesn't want to move to another vendor???

          I have ACT (Formerly Beam Tele) Broadband connection for my home at Hyderabad and have paid my charges for six months starting from April 15.. I stopped getting connected from 27th May. Despite multiple calls and complaints on the portal, the issue is not addressed till 1st of May. No technicial ever turned up or called up to...very poor response.

            ACT used to provide minute details of data usage, which could be accessed on their website 24/7. They have suddenly removed this service & all that is provided now is the total data used & option to reset FUP by paying extra. I hv been noticing that my data usage is showing more than I'm actually using & thr is no way I can track or check this. Cust Care are clueless abt this & the wait is too long. Customers hv right to this info 24/7 & ACT should act in this regard than wait for some suit to be filed in this regard, unless they are really up to some serious data fraud.

            I totally agree to this and i have recently noticed that the data usage is far more than the actuals and i noticed this only once i used their reset FUP options. Ever since i used this option, I have noticed that my data (50GB) gets over by 10 every month there by pushing me to use Reset FUP option. i had been tracking the usage and screenshots from my portal one a regular basis.

            I see that my average usage shown my the portal is approx. 800MB - 1GB per hour. That too without any downloads or torrents running. i also made sure that the youtube videos were running at 480 resolution. and to add to the issue - i never get the promised 30Mbps.. i goes as bad as less than an MB and i endup talking to customer care with no actual results. they always have some excuses.

            I downgraded my plan today as i dont get the speed I want yet consume more than my limit as per their records. Im looking for an alternate solution in my area and also working with others from this area in tracking and collecting data on usage.
            ACT, my custId is 10954902 and I also asked for a detailed break-up of the content visited. My data usage for a single day exceeded 3 GB and for last it had already crossed 50GN by 23rd. I'm suspecting a scam here with others also reporting the same.
            Need a detailed break-up by device (PC/Phone) and content to trust the data usage report.
            I get my 75GB exhausted in 15 days .. this is the 3rd month I see this.


            ACT is ready to provide a day wise break up of the usage.
            However, they cant provide the website that was accessed during that time.

            But, if we raise a complaint and get an FIR, then they are ready to get the complete data.

            If this happens next time, I am getting an FIR.

            Same here!! My 50GB limit got over in 15days, that too when I haven't used it that much.! Could we get the daily basis data usage bill from ACT so that we can track our usage? This is my third month. Not only does the network fluctuate a bit i.e all my putty sessions timeout soon and I need to keep my sessions open on remote machine to get my work done, which is still bearable but a drop in the net speed in the middle of the month for little usage is outrageous!

            People posting here are talking about 50 GB getting over in 15 days, may be thats for broadband services, from the day i chose to reset my FUP, the bandwidth is getting leaked like anything, 16 GB in 4 hours, 12 GB in 2 days and to top it all, around 36 GB vanished in just a matter of 4 hours. What victorvasanth suggested here was interesting about getting a FIR, have to explore this, There is some serious scam that is happening in the Fibernet and I guess the whole of my locality is utilizing our fibernet

            i've been facing the same issue for the past 3 months and they still haven't got back to me. i call them up they give me some stupid excel sheet. i switch my modem off the other night and wake up the next day and witnessed 8 gb of data used up. like how's that even possible. my id 11344906 is if you're not considering to resolve the issue. i might have to consider changing the ISP and i might not even recommend ACT to anyone else cause of your poor FUP services.
            My customer id is 11158557, ACT was good for first few months where on watching hd videos on my television consumed 4GB every day. My children watch few rhymes and some kids videos for about 2 hours a day on youtube. Now they don't even watch it on phones but the data consumed is 25GB per day and last night I saw it was 144GB consumed and now at 7am in the morning it is 172.32GB.

            I have also made a video of all emails and customer care service calls and will release this video in 2 Days. I am a storyteller and this story needs attention. Will do my best to make the video viral. Let ACT give me more content for next one day and I will be done.

            my ID is 11344906, i've posted a complaint earlier and i've been surprised to find ACT's reply stating that you guys have resolved my problem? this cheating. this utter scam. this is FRAUD. you guys haven't looked into my issue and my problem hasn't been resolved yet. two days into this month and 17Gb of my FUP has been used VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE and FUP FRAUDS. my contact no is [protected]. look into this issue now.             Earlier service was very good. I even used to recommend my friends. Now ACT is the biggest cheaters. Data usage shows too high. How all of sudden our data usage details show more even though our usage has been reduced. Big time looters. We are forced to do FUP reset. All this problem started since FUP reset option has come. To track my data usage i have installed data usage app in my windows 10 laptop. The data what i can see is no where near the 50% of the data usage details ACT show. This is scam. We need to take a serious action on this. May be FIR will do. Even though if ACT sends that stupid excel sheet with wrong data i have data to proove them wrong. Can anyone suggest me procedures on how to take legal actions against them. This needs serious attention as now i can see many in this forum complaining against data usage scam.

            I am getting message that I have consumed 80% o[censored]sage. I payed the bill on 1st May 2016 and my FUP was rest. I wonder how I will consume 46 GB out of 50 GB in 5 days(5th May 2016) !!!

            In month of March I faced the same issue. I got a message that I have consumed 100% of internet. Because that was the first time I thought I had consumed 100% unknowingly.

            But whatever is happening now is not fair with ACT team.

            They should really check and see what is happening. If they are running on loss they should shut down their offices. They should not try to ask their customers to pay additional amounts to cover their losses.

            They should also focus on their technical people if they are doing a fair job. There may be a chance that these guys are playing with the network and routing the customer's internet packets to their own devices

            But any how ACT is not doing good !!!

            If they continue this attitude all customers will leave ACT soon and switch to other service providers.

            Here we go again...

            The shenanigans of act fibernet, the so called company with ethics would not stop troubling existing customers on the fup drama... 2nd month in a row... Firstly in 2 hours my 20+ gb gets swallowed in 2 hours on the 1st... After unlimited calls and being put across to multiple so called pro agents my fup was reset last week... Now here is the best piece... My kids/wife had left for a holiday a day before the fup was reset... So the number of devices have reduced to a laptop and a iphone (Mentioning iphone as the executive was saying all apple devices are eating the fup... It seems act has complained to apple. What a load of crap...)... So i was let's get these guys live on scam media before i call them again.. So what does my bitmeter on my laptop say?? 7.55 gb till date (It started from 2nd may but my fup was reset on the 7th) so i still give them leverage of 5 days... Now in a week my usage is 50+gb... Its inhumane to use 50+ gb in a week while i am using the net for data only, and a max of 4 hours on (Linked in and normal browsing, watts app, mails etc)..

            I think its time to stand up and let people know what these guys are upto. So now getting off the chair to get an fir and then i shall make a call... I am super excited to hear the same words... Apple devices will eat fup... So please dont use apple...

            Last month we did FUP Reseting 4 times.. This is the same situation since 3-4 months.. Initially our package was of 75 GB and since we were exceeding the package, we doubled the Usage quota from 75 GB to 150 GB. .. Still we are exceeding the package in the same pace even when we have doubled our Usage Quota... This is hard to believe .. Pls look in to the issue seriously..And tell us a way to monitor the usage statistics properly and hassle free..

            Same issue with me as well, done FUP reset on 26th December and within three days into new cycle 54gb gone like magic (4gb could be my usage) and they want me reset FUP now. this is huge scam guys. i work as security analyst and my habits and defenses with computer is bullet proof for any contigencies, i have made sure no unwanted applications ran during the particular time o[censored]sage as mentioned by ACT, these guys are caught red handed, will make a report and will file a FIR ASAP.

            Same issue here, I have suspect act is doing fraud by showing more data used . I am using ACT Lightning 100GB plan. mine got finished in 15 days . I got resetted by buying some flexbytes 30 gb for twice. For the second flexbyte which started on 28Jan, i was closely monitoring . I downloaded two seasons of Walking dead which is of max 10gb . what happend to rest of my data not sure . And moreover i am using my 4g data in phone not even connected to wifi in last three days. now My data usage is almost completed. Act is targeting people who use more data in normal plan . These Act people are such a cheaters. I have to move to some other Broadband who we can rely on.

            My account no is[protected]. I have 75 mbps with 125 GB Storm plan. I barely used wifi as my laptop was under repair and still 125 GB got over in 15 days. I took a FUP of 10 GB which got over in 2 days, I again took 10GB FUP, it got over in 2 days. I then took 5 GB and it got over in few hours. There is definitely something fishy about ACT Fibernet. I have raised a complain twice, but I have not got any solution to the issue. I have decided to cancel this Fraud ACT Fibernet Broadband connection.
            I am Chethan, i am having ACT connection for more than 4yrs now. Earlier i was in the 50 GB download and 30MBPS plan, i was using Torrent and still my Download limit used to last till end of the month. But later i was not using Torrent and i still have noticed that my Download limit was over by 20th of every month Even though my consumuption had reduced.
            Later ACT upgraded my plan to 100 GB download plan, Surprising part is i am not using Torrent now and watching very few online movies, Still my 100GB Limit is over by 20 r 25th every month. i have noticed it for almost 6 months now.
            There is definitely some Scam that is going on here. Once we are done with the Download limit, the speed drops and we are forced to Reset our FTP.
            It is really frustrating when we know our usage and yet the data always crosses the plan that we opt for.
            we don't even get the Speed that is promised. it never crosses 5MBPS even though they claim that they provide a speed of 30MBPS

            Within 24 hours, between 14-Aug-2021 10pm IST and 15-Aug-2021 10pm, ACT says I used 762GB data ... unbelievable. While my average monthly usage has not crossed 700GB (with work from home and full time online classes for 2 kids every weekday), it shows 762GB within 24 hours. And their customer care tries to prove that their jobs are worthless ...
            Many customers have been complaining since 2 days and there is no response from ACT nor any action. I am hesitant to purchase FUP/Flexibytes as I'm not sure if the issue is resolved or not from their side. What's the point in purchasing additional 100GB/200GB only to give it back to ACT :) ... pathetic.

              I am very disappointed with the connection and also the services. I dont have internet connection from past 3 days also i have given complain but till now no update. Everyday i will call the customer care and everyday i will get the message that it will resolve today end of the day. No proper message. No update. Also customer care waiting time is very high.                 I am getting no internet connectivity from past 4 days. I registered a complaint on 20th of May with ACT customer care and we received a message that it will be resolved by 22nd May. No one from the company bothered to visit and check what the issue is. After calling again on 21st evening we got an assurance that it will be rectified by 22nd afternoon. Again after all this wait no one came to pay a visit and check the issue and we received a message saying that it will be done by 24th. I called again on 22nd and 23rd and was told that it will be done by evening 4 PM of respective days. Still no resolution. Earlier this month we shifted our residence and it took 11 days for the transfer the connection. The new location was mere 300 meters from the old one. In this month of may we have received proper internet connection only for 7 days. Every time over the call false promises were made and we got to hear only one thing that status of complaint will be updated and it will be resolved at the earliest. From 15th of the month we started receiving reminders for payment of the bill which we have not used at all, failing to pay the bill our connection will be discontinued. We have faced a lot of trouble, mental harassment as well as interruptions in important assignments, interviews for which internet is required.                   my Name is ravi booked a new Internet connection on 16/5/2015 6days back and your Executive came to our residence and collected Rs.5702/- Cash Receipt No.37853 that includes Router and connection. Another Executive came otherday and put the cable without Router .call up customer care no option for complaint no responce on live chat sms many times to [protected] no use Your Custmer care centre are not giving clear picture. In view of the above, please refund the amount immediately. i took airtel connection they have installed in a day please refund my money asap

                      Very Bad Service - Internet Down

                      Hi, I have bought ACT broadband connection last week and till now more than 10 times the internet was down but the issue not fixed permanently. I have raised multiple requests but no luck. The tickets are closed with Fiber cut issue. Please fix this issue permanently....

                      My name is Chandrashekar S from Hyderabad. Even though I have paid the amount in advance for 6 months broadband connection and hardly used the service for 1 month or so, from last 1 week or so my net connection has been getting disconnected very regularly and very slow when the connection works. I have tried calling the customer care, the Hyd. phone numbers but no one even has picked up the phone. Also, the sad part is that they have given the Nodal Officer and the Appellate Authority (Anand Krishna and Suja Varghese) email id to whom I have sent emails including to the customer care department [protected]@actcorp.in but it is so surprising that so far there has not been even an acknowledgement for my email leave alone resolving my issues. It is really sad to note if the Nodal Officer and the Appellate personnel work for Beam or ACT and don't worry about the complaints/ escalations sent by customers like us and seems like they have all these personnel details on their website to cheat customers like us.                         Hello this is lesly the connection is in the name of rohan dahotre and registered by my mobile number and i used to pay this time when i was paying the payment got hanged for about 5 mins after 3d secure pin so i closed the browser and i payed once more cz i dint get any payment message on my mobile so i tried once more then it worked and after that i got 2 messages of paying Rs 1179 (in total Rs2358)and then i instantly called them and they said we recieved 2 payments from me and and then they told me to resolve from bank which i cant really do because of work and my bank acnt was not made in the city where i currently currently live. i told them about this but they said we sorry we will tell u when u once disconnect the net instead of refunding the extra that got payed which is 1179 the amount. me and rohan are roommates and we are moving this month end as per our rooms agreement i even told them this but they are not refunding the money which was hanged and received by them and this is really kills me even when i called them to resolve the net problems they did the same one day they took abt 7 days then 3 days saying within 24 hours i even lost my freelance job from this and now they are playing with my money i really hope i get help from here registered mobile no [protected]

                          Hi, I had called your customer care for reconnection at Boduppal. They said they will do it in 3 days Even before they called us, we receive a sms saying "your ticket is closed". When I again called the customer care they said the technician will call us and they will install a new server box, as the one which is there in our area is full. After 2 days they call and tell us that it cannot be done as there is no server box and they cannot install a new one. It's really surprising that I receive multiple answers each time. This is at least not expected from a reputed vendor like Beam which is supposed to be the most popular.

                            I had paid ₹1700 on 27th April for installation charges and 1 month connection in my house in Koramangala. It is now 18th May, I have called them more than 100 times, and they refuse to pick up my calls . In the papers that I had to sign, it was clearly written it will be installed in15 working days. It has been almost a month now. Mr Prasanna(phone number:[protected]) was assigned to our house, but he picked up the phone, abused us and cut the phone. I have been so badly harassed and lost a lot of money as I work from home, and Internet is absolutely necessary. I feel really helpless and don't know how to sort this issue out.

                              Hi, I have recently relocated to Bangalore. In my society, ACT broadband has monopoly and no other vendor is present. I too applied for ACT broadband connection and submitted my documents with required money to one SPOC whom I was directed by banner posted in my society. After following up with him for two days, another fellow called up saying that I have given documents to wrong person as previous fellow doesn’t handle new connections. Despite being surprised, I retrieved documents and money from first fellow and gave to new guy who told me that I also have to shell out another 2000/- for new router which I gave in cash. He told me that I need to get internal wiring done from my building electrician which is required for connection which I got done same day. Next day ACT electricians came to my flat and connected wires to the boxes present in building basement. After two days, the SPOC with whom I was following, called up saying that as I am working in Dell company, ACT broadband doesn’t provide connection to its employees as they had certain payment disputes with them in past. Stunned, I called up helpdesk who after taking to 15 minutes mentioned that they have certain technical issues (which they can’t inform me) due to which connection can’t be done at my flat and I need to follow up for refund separately. Now I am left after spending around 4000/- clueless and looking for alternatives. Can somebody help me getting right answer why connection is declined. My application request number is CF[protected].                                 I have requested ACTCorp over customer care phone number for new connection at my apartment 16-4-32, Talibkhundmiri Road, Malakpet, Hyd - 24. After multiple calls to the customer care hotline. i received a call from ACT official (phone number: [protected]) just to be informed that he is not to concerned person and he will sms the contact number of the concerned person, which is ([protected]) since 2 days i have been trying to get in touch with the concerned person but the phone is switched off. When i called the customer care of ACT corp. I was simply asked to complain to the nodal office through email at [protected]@actcorp.in I am not sure if i should be struggling to get internet connection from ACT fiber. However, i request the concern authorities to look into the matter and do the needful. my phone number [protected].

                                    Hi Sir...I have requested for a Beam/Act broad band connection and they have charged an amount of 4020/-Rs as in advance for 6 months.The committed installation date is on 10th May 2015.Till the time Internet is not provided to me. When ever I call the customer care they raise a fresh ticket and say with in 24hrs the issue will resolve. I have almost called more than 40 times to the sales person and the customer care.They are not care at all. Please take the appropriate action.
