There has been lot of confusion with the installation we had ordered for 50 Mbps and
we were given 15 Mbps ... Act people now say that the FUP qouta is over and the internet
is dead slow now.

ACT has been horrible in dealing customers and they keep handling the phone one and other .
It has been a very very horrible experience .
Raise a complaint on Akosha forum ACT is a fraud bb company which has no good tech support team... they have hired some jokers for cust care and marketing... they will fool u while providing connection and then its all at the mercy of company!!!

ACT doesnt have a nodal team, same cust care person attends ur complaint!!!

    I bought ACT setup box, as per government rules to watch tv.
    cable provider (Golden net) charged Rs: 1500 and installed a month ago.
    Now i am not able to see any channels, as i get error on screen saying that " you are not subscribed to this channel"
    None of the channel works apart from DD & Suvarna.
    When i contact cable operator he says the contract has been closed for ACT(Seriously dont know what contact has closed).
    Now he says to buy a new pocket size set up box of worth Rs. 500.
    So am i in loss ? just for 30 days i paid 1500 rs and box doesnt work.
    can you please help me to resolve this issue.
    This is not only problem with me but almost 20 ppl who has taken this set up box has same problem.

      sir I have purchased the new router from beam telecom for wifi connection at my home with life time warranty. The wifi is working but in router the land ports are not working, because of that I am unable to use my desktops. when I have complaint them to change the router or repair it from day one, they are telling by tomorrow it will be done, but till now they haven't change it. from last 45 days am making complaints but no use.

        I have a ACT broadband connection and the line is faulty for the past 1 week. Even after 20 calls to their customer care[protected], they give lame duck excuses but don't send their technicians to resolve the issues. Even now the issue is not resolved. I'm tired of calling them. Please take strict action on them.

          Beam telecom is not sending the SOA payment confirmation PDF's when payment is made through online ,as soon as the bill is payed.I have payed the bill of month may on 8thmay 2013.I dint yet recieved the SOA pdf. Please make sure that to not repeat this again and again.
          A/c No 387380. Please issue the SOApdf for the this account number.
          Or atleast mention the time period for issuing the bill.

            BEAM Telecom has stopped sending statement of account over emails from April 2013 onward. I had raised a request for sending my April 2013 SOA on Thursday, 16th May but my ticket was closed without it being resolved. I had to raise the ticket again and again and in total six times so far, and they have sent me SOAs for March and May and not for April, the one i asked for.

              I am th victim of BEAM tele .No I lost my interent connection 14 days back ..When i called customer care the naswer is always 'will resolve in 24 hours. '.Shold I have to wait for life time .Rubbish and worst sercvie provider .Friends be aware please dont go this internet connecetion any time in your life even they say they will give you free life time ...Definatly you will think about sucide after you get experience .

                This is to bring to your kind notice that i am Niladri Sekhar Dutta from West Bengal staying in a rented house in Seshadripuram & working as an executive in ITC Windsor Hotel. I am a customer of ACT Broadband (Customer id: 10386683 / mobile reg. no. [protected]) from last 1 year i have been using act broadband but from last week this company is being harassing me like anything. As i was out of town to attend my father’s funeral i had to temporarily deactivate my account & after returning back i had asked them to collect the reactivation charges & activate my account, for 4 days their collection agent called me up every day & asked me to stay at home but no one turned up to collect the money even after calling their customer care team again & again wasting my money nothing happened. At last i took the office address from the customer care team & went to pay the money but unfortunately they had shifted the office to a different place which information was unknown to the customer care team. Then at last i had to again visit to a different office to pay the money, even after paying the money i am not able to use my internet. I have been calling every minute to the customer care team wasted lots of money from last week to rectify the problem but still its not been rectified. They are assuring every day that it will be rectified within few hours but its only false hopes they are giving even sometimes they call & say the issue has been rectified which is not actually done. I have asked for the disconnection of my account due to their bad service still they are not ready to disconnect my account & assuring me every now & then that it would be rectified. Now, its very sad to say that the senior employees & the person from whom i took the connection are ignoring my calls. Its very disappointing that after paying money also i cannot avail the service & at the end of the month they would post the fixed monthly charges to my account even after not using the internet as i have faced this issue once few months earlier & don't want too face it again.
                I would be very much obliged & thankful if you would take this issue seriously & offer customers like us a helping hand. This types of companies should be banned for not giving proper service to their customers even after taking a huge some of money & faking about their responsibilities & giving false hopes. As i am tired of calling them i have come to you asking for help.

                ACT BROADBAND — Internet not working since last 6 days and yet No Service from their end

                My Internet is not working since past 6 days and their is no service from their end regarding this.

                Their Customer Care no. is not reachable and th person who has given the connection to us is also not responding.

                WORST CUSTOMER CARE SERVICE EVER.
                Hi,

                I have got a new Act BB connection on 22/06/2013.


                I have been clearly told by Marketing executive Mr Ramachandra that my connection is a post-paid and I have confirmed it more than thrice. I have the document which says its a post-paid connection.

                Now, all of a sudden within 10 days i get to know that ACT has changed my post paid plan to pre-paid and i am asked to pay advance rental for next month.

                My question here is who has authorised ACT BB to change my plan from POST PAID to PRE-PAID...even IF IT WAS DONE I WAS NEVER INFORMED ABOUT THE SAME!!!

                I WILL NOT HESITATE TO VOICE OUT MY CONCERNS ON ONLINE CONSUMER FORUMS IF MY CONCERN IS NOT ADDRESSED SUITABLY!!!

                I WOULD EXPECT MY CONCERN IS ADDRESSED AT THE EARLIEST
                ACT BB IS NOT EVEN BOTHERED TO RESPOND TO MY COMPLAINT NOR READY TO TAKE ANY COMPLAINT FOR THE SAME!!!

                WHEN I HAVE PAID MY RENTAL OF 1560, WHILE TAKING CONNECTION IN ADVANCE WHY SHOULD I AGAIN PAY 1500 WITHIN 10 DAYS OF TAKING CONNECTION???

                  I am staying in Shantinagar and took ACT 2 month before and just in 2 month I placed almost 15 complainted to ACT that internet is going off.

                  Every time it took almost 1-2 days to solve the problems, and it was horrible to stay in queue for ACT customer care number for almost 5-10 min and then the person so called customer care will talk to you, who even dont know what problem you are facing.

                  even this time is totally worst, its been 4 days I am without internet and ACT guys as usual keep on saying couple of hours to get resolved...they even dont know after 4 days whats the problem I am talking about.

                  This is not for ACT as I know they will not do anything at all to improve there service , as they think CUSTOMER is totally FOOL , once he joins he will not go anywhere else.

                  I am writing this just for other Bangaloreon to be ware before taking ACT connection, If you are thinking to take ACT then think twise because your life will become horrible with unreliable/unreliastic internet connection which says 20MBPS and more but If you dont have internet connection 3 days in a week then what you will do with that speed . JUST THINK TWICE BEFORE TAKING ACT.


                  For ACT - If by chance you are reading this , If you really think that customer is fool then YOU ARE TOTALLY WRONG, every one wants professional service and thats the reason they are paying money, ofcourse if you dont give service we can move to other players in industry.

                  I can not CHANGE ACT , but I CAN CHANGE myself from ACT !!

                    After waiting for a two week for the installation I decided not to take a connection. I requested for the cancellation. I called many time to my sales person Parsanna mobile no. [protected] but he kept saying he would come and return the money. Thereafter, after a two week he stop receiving my calles. When I visited their office could not meet to senior person but talked over phone and he said he would do the process but sad, no response.

                    Then I called customer help line 42840000. they put me on conference with sales person parsanna then he said he would come and return the money.
                    However, in the same day on 08/05/2013 some one come to my home in my absent and give the wire connection without my approval. It seems they intentionally want to give us a connection and don't want to return money. Isn't this ridiculous? Let's see.

                      Purchased Act 15mbps boradband after being carried away by their superfast connection ads all over the city. In less than a month i have raised more than ten complaints for dissconnection. From past three days the connection is totally dead and the technicians are totally giving lame reasons like the power failure has casued the router(at their office) to fail and next day they say the optic fibure has snapped bla bla...

                        I have been availing beam services from quite some time. And from last two months I we are not getting Internet, when we called the customer care they always say that complaint would be worked on and resolution would be provided.

                        Internet is not working from March 1st week, and the guys from billing department came to my home for collection of bill amount and I told them that please give me service and charge for the services you provide. For the complete month of April Internet did work and in May 1st week again the billing department guys from beam tele came for collection of Bill Amount.

                        For two months Internet has not been working and none of their technicians turned up at my home, but their billing department guys turn up for collection of bill amount.

                        Here are some of the complaint numbers that I have.

                        None of them are actual resolved. Service was never restored. But all the complaints were closed.

                        yes beam tele is now for such bad server, this happened with us earlier when everybody in our apartment had such issues.
                        true, even we live in apartments and everybody who avails services from beam tele have issues.

                          My Beam Broadband Account Number is 513800.

                          Address: Plot no.17,Flat no.201,Engineers colony,Chintalkunta,Near LB Nagar.

                          After complaining,that my account is not updated,there is no payment details in my account,they raised a ticket.After one day I received sms,that Ticket No:8364156 is resolved. But nothing is updated in my portal account.Still there is no payment details.

                          I have made a payment of Rs.3630 for six months while taking the connection on 24th April 2013. Bill no. is 188908.

                          Why is it taking soo long to update my account. And on top of that i have received a bill of Rs.814,which i need to pay by 10th may.

                          I made numerous calls to beam customer care and i was repeatedly told that i will get a call from accounts department,but there is no call.

                          Please look into the matter.

                            I raised thee complaint(ticket No:8311915) on 30the April 2013 regarding shifting connection in Beam Customer Care. They told that for shifting connection it will take 48hrs i agreed withe them and they processed my ticket.After 48hrs I didnt get any response from their side whenever i calling thee customer care they always singing thee same song as withe in 24hrs or 48hrs. Now till today i didnt get any response from their side in between these days they raised 4 tickets(8348360,8367597,8366042)withe high priority still thee issue is unresolved. So, i irritated withe them ,What should i do now? i need thee solution for theis immediately. The people who troubled for paying thee rental on time every month but they are least bothered about thee complaint raised by me.Kindly do thee need full.

                            Beam Telecom — Shifting the connection

                            I have requested for shifting the connection from Nizampet to Cahndanagar on 27th June.Till now there is no correct information on why they did not provide me the connection.Whenever i call the calll center they promise to solve it by 24 hours.

                              I took a act tv connection 20 days before.. After one week, the setup box is restarting for every 1 minute.. I called the customer care and they gave a reference number. Every day i called to the customer care they are telling that the ticket raised by you is closed by some one.. and providing the new one.. Its continuing for the past 10 days.. (not yet resolved) Very very worst service.. Please go for some other connection. - from Nagavara (Bangalore)

                                I am a subsciber of beam telecom 15 Mbps plan at gandhi nagar, Hyderabad. i have lost internet connectivity 3 days ago i,e on 24th april 2013. i have complained immediately and the next day, though the complaint was not solved, i got a message that it was solved. i immediately placed another complaint. on 26th April an executive of beam telecom came to my home and identified that cable was cut at my area and promised me that the issue will be solved under any cost by evening of 26th april. i waited and no one turned up. i called up again on 27th april and i was told that the executive who came to my home informed tgat my door was locked. Inspite of identifying the issue, he was negligent. i wanted to talk to supervisor and they kept me waiting for half an hour and did not respond yet. This happened a couple of times, yet they put my call on hold on purpose. i am still waiting for the issue to be resolved. beam should take care of atleast addressing existing customer's complaints before boasting about its plans.

                                  My name is VINAY

                                  I am a customer of BEAM CABLE internet for more than 5 years for my house connection and 3 year for my Office.

                                  Many times i have logged a complain but not once the complaint has been resolved without yelling or calling 100 of times or even asking them to disconnect my connection and give me back my money (because i pay yearly)

                                  On 24th april, due to weather my internet connection on the name of VINAY TELEVISION PVT LTD, plot 22, phase II, ECIL EXTN, E.C.I.L X rd, hyderbad 062. there was no internet for 2 days, i raise a complaint (#8257410) after a day (Which is their promised time of service) i got sms saying your problem has resolved but actually it was not. So i call them once again to ask them two questions
                                  1. How can you close a complaint without the confirmation of the customer when the problem is not resolved yet? (no technician, back end team or even customer care people, nobody call or visited our place to solve the problem)
                                  2. i asked them to please connect me to their supervisor and they made me wait for more than an hour on phone and finally they said our supervisor is busy we will arrange a call back in 2 hours.

                                  24 hrs passed nothing happened, again i called, they raised a new complaint for the same old complaint for the unresolved but closed complaint and after another hour of discussion on the phone, the customer care have agreed to disconnect our connection permenantly but not allowing us to get explanation about their irresponsibility.

                                  And even my disconnection, my bill is not settled

                                  So summary is,
                                  Problem faced by customer, raised complaint but no response, in the mean time tens of phone calls and hours of waiting in line, no response, disconnection but not bill settlement as we are supposed to get refund.

                                    I paid 6 months advance for installation of Beam broadband connection, amounting to more than 9K INR. That was 7 days ago. After multiple calls over the last week I'm yet to hear from the technician. Every time I call I get an assurance that I will receive a call back in 2 hours and a resolution in 24 hours. My ticket number with the company is 8158704.

                                        The worst support we get from the beam telecom people. My connection is under disconnected state from last 1 month.
                                        I am calling them daily and asking for the updates they say that the issue is in the server side pls give us 24 hrs your problem will be solved.
                                        But that day never comes. Laziness and uncoordination exists between the employees.
                                        I even escalated three tickets and talked to the supervisors and also the nodal manager.
                                        Nothing made it fell serious to them.
                                        They donnot knw the meaning of the escation and also they dont understand the problems of the customers.

                                        Its one month since i am waiting for their response to solve my problem.They just say within 24 hrs your problem will be solved which will never be solved.
                                        I dont know whom to escalate and who will solve the issue.
                                        I even asked to disconnect the connection and give my money back, they said even that will take 15 days.

                                        I have registered n number of complaints.
