hi my name is anil,
i was writing this with lots of frustration, irritation, mental tension caused because of beam
i have given money for beam connection long back 60 days, but till today the team has not given connection to me
from the first day onwards when i given money to the executive of beam the person who called me maintains a local net in our area, forcing to take his local connection
asking why i am going for beam if any problem comes i will not take care for this you have to report to beam itself, it will take many days to resolve the issue
but i asked for beam , he committed to give new connection with in one week, i inquired him but he is telling to take his local connection .it has been going till 60 days right now but no response from beam or either him
i used to call beam customer care 10-15 days per day they are saying that it will resolve in 24 hours, also you will get call from them. i frustrated on beam connection. As there is no complaint registered in beam.
every time they are saying that they have registered complaint, for the mobile you will get complaint number but it was not happened till now
i have on-calls weekly thrice at 10pm, in that time where i have to go for internet connection for on-call
i am working as a consultant for a company, they provide some work to do, make a project to submit
because of this i am unable to do this because of no internet. Client has scolded me for the loss of time. Beam has to answer this.
when i asked the beam team no one has responded properly, saying to go branch office for reason of delay
this is the care taking by the beam customer team. some body from beam executive said that your money will be refund within 15 days , raise a request before 30 days.
but till now that is not done. when i asked today they are saying that it will take another 1 month, it has been proved that beam was cheating the customers by collecting the whole amount (plan amount + installation) at first time

itself. this type of irresponsible executives were placed in beam when i requested to forward the call to team lead they are saying that there are no lead or supervisor for this, they only work on this.
i have some questions to beam: 1. without knowing the feasibility how the team was collecting the money from customer ?
2. if the feasibility is not there how many months will it take to realize this ?
3. with out giving connection they are taking amount (plan + installation), when i asked to refund the money it will take 15 days, finally they are saying 15 working days which may be around 2 months?
4. why the beam has collecting the whole amount on the spot, why they are taking 2 months for refund ?
i want my beam connection on high priority or money back immediately since it passed more than 60 days for this

    Iam a regular user of Beam Fibre internet broadband from couple of years. In the month of August 2012, I have paid the amount of 410 rs as a monthly bill through my Andhra bank debit card. The transaction was failed but the amount was deducted from my account. On repeated calls to beam customer care, i was told to contact my concerned bank as according to them the amount was not transferred. In the mean while as the month was near end, I paid the internet amount again. For solving the failed transaction issue, I visited my nearest bank and said the same to the bank manager. The bank manager took my complaint and told me to contact their internet banking department. After multiple calls, I was told to talk with the bank manager. After visiting the bank, manager showed me the mail where the VISA department said that the amount was transferred successfully to concerned Beam Fibre's account. He forwarded that mail to me which I forwarded to Beam Fibre's Customer care people multiple times but they didn't bother to reply to my mail. Some of the people whom I mailed the issue was Yogita Sharma and one Srikanth Billa.
    Every time they say their accounts department will call and even after having a call they don't close the issue and refund my money. They always say their account departments will call again.
    I want this issue to be closed as soon as possible. I will not pay full internet bill for this month as I have already paid 410 rs extra in the month of August.

      I was owning an ACT Broadband Internet Connection and decided to cancel the connection on 1st October-2012 because i shifted the house to Bannergatta Road, Bangalore where this internet provider is not having feasibility.

      There was a refund of Rs 494/- against the security deposit which i have made. I tried reaching customer care through mails and calling them directly several times. They are telling that DD was sent to my address on Nov 03-2012, but still i have not received it. There is no response from their side nor replies.


      Please help me out to resolve this.

      I had applied for a new broadband connection from ACT Broadband on 20th July 2014. The brodband package I opted for was 15MBPS, 50GB plan. I paid 6th months advance, INR 7746, via HDFC bank cheque 295824. I was told installation will be completed in 7 working days. Even after contacting the sales executive for 15 days I did not get the connection installed at my place. I applied for cancellation on 7th August 2014. I have not yet received any refund from ACT broadband till today and they have stopped replying to my refund request.

        Hi,

        My name is Sashidhar and i am a brand new customer of beam, who is baffled by the tedious and the most unreliable service that you guys provide.

        I never thought that my very first experience with beam is going to be so bad that i already started regretting my decision of taking your connection.

        Its been 10 days since i made a payment and i was promised the new connection within the next 48 hours.... But that never happened , after atleast 10 calls or so simultaneously to the support team and also the sales rep near my house, i finally got the cabling done yesterday afternoon that is the eighth day!

        And now i found out its just a dead cable and am not even able to see the portal page nor i received any additional information about what to do next.

        Unfortunately the promptness in taking cash from me is not shown in providing me the basic initial service. This kind of behavior from a company like beam saddens and frustrates me.

        I called more than 30 times for a resolution. Do u guys at least now care to help me out and set up my connection ASAP!! please!

          Sir, In my area Beam telecom is providing internet services.Area sales person taken check of amount 4580 for service for 1 year.the amount is credited in Beam N/w account on 1/10/2012.Proof: i have a sms in my mobile). i have keep asking the customer care regarding the connection status,they are entertained till today saying it will take 2 days to revert you back. i have visited they office in madina guda once. no progress since also. today morning they called and telling that they cannot provide the internet connection.
          However in my area many people having the Beam N/w in there houses.

          my complient
          1. if they wont provide connection why they entertaned till these many days and money also not given back
          2. I am a engineer i missed many ofmy activities personnelly/Professionally
          3. When we went there office for status ,person over there is not having/informed the info and status about the issue from there office.

          Please take the action and suggest me for any further action to be taken.

            I live in Domlur layout bangalore. I have subscribed for ACT broadband since Feb 2012. The service was awesome till mid of OCT-2012. Then start the problem with the ACT people as well as a person in neighborhood. The ACT box is setup in one of the homes with out the permission(house owner argument dont know if it is true) of the house owner and the house owner had to argue that his electricity bill jumps beacuse of ACT box. There have been multiple complaints with ACT customercare to shift the box since mid of OCT 2012. There has been no action taken nor the technicians come to ACT DOmlur office. Such a bad support system I say. Fix this problem immediately. There are 10 connections disrupted due to this all because of ACT and worst landlord who switch off the box even after getting paid for installing the box at his home.

              Dear Sir/Madam,

              I Rachuri Venkata Aditya Kiran, an existing Beam customer bearing A/c no. 387128 have raised an EXTERNAL SHIFT request ticket #6259319 on 27-SEPT-2012. After few inquiries, I learned from the Beam technical team that the request could not be processed further due to lack of provision in my new locality. Hence, I did not have internet since 27th Sept 2012. However, I was billed the shifting charges and monthly bill of October 2012.

              During the conversations with the customer support executives last month, I was told that there would be a waiting period of 1 month in order to finalize the feasibility of shifting the connection to my new address failing which leads to automatic connection termination process initiated by Beam. I was told to wait for this period as there will not be any charges billed to me for that period. Based on this advice, I waited patiently all these days. There is no response yet. Now, the Beam executives are harassing me for bill payment. I raised a waive-off request recently based on a customer support executive’s advice which was closed without addressing completely.

              I am extremely dissatisfied with this kind of a service. I have totally lost faith in Beam's service. Hence, I decided to terminate my association with BEAM.

              The below concerns are the primary motivation which made me to decide to terminate my connection.
              1. Improper Communication: The team took around 2 weeks of time from the actual date of request to just inform me about the provisional issues where in the actual request execution time is 5-7 working days (based on the information from a CSR). I was never informed clearly about what was the problem until I inquired the nitty-gritty. I am fed up of calling customer care number of times who never say anything except that my I request has been escalated. I have never come across such an unanswerable customer service department.
              2. Issue Resolution and Ticket Management: If there is no provision for shifting an existing connection, a customer should be informed accordingly. Either an alternative should be proposed or else the connection should be terminated. Only then the tickets should be closed. However, Beam closes tickets even without addressing the issues completely. It is the strangest and useless ticket management practice I have ever come across.
              3. Unfair Billing: I was billed the shifting charges along with the monthly usage charges for the month of October 2012 (SOA #4272374- Ref #2900595, #4511657) and monthly usage charges for November 2012 (SOA #4458091). How can a customer be charged when he/she is not having connection at all for the whole billing period due to lack of the ISP's service? This is ridiculous. I wonder how Beam charged me without addressing the shifting request successfully. Ideally, such charges should be billed in the forthcoming bill upon successful execution of the actual request. I have never experienced this before with any of the market leading ISPs I used in the past. This is totally an unfair practice.

              Before proceeding with the termination, I have the below two requests,
              a. With immediate effect, waive off the amounts charged in SOA #4272374 and #4458091.
              b. Terminate the connection. It is no fault of a customer if there is no feasibility. Also, equipment storage is the service provider’s responsibility. You cannot expect to store your equipment in a customer’s residence. That shows the ISP's lack of planning.

              Hence, kindly look into this matter and settle down the issue at the earliest.

                out of 24hrs hardly we are able to access 1 or 2hours..

                  I have registered withe beam network on 27the -October- 2012 and was given commitment theat withein 48 hours theey will come and install thee connection but theey did not do anytheing before 48 hours when I tried to contact thee concerned person and intimated theat thee 48 hours are completed theen he sent a person to install thee cabling on 29the-October-2012, theey installed thee cable but did not give thee connection by saying theat thee connection box is not present in my apartment.

                  I request you to take an action against thee concerned person as soon as possible so theat theey provide better service and improve your service in my area.

                    Hi,

                    I have tried to call on the customer support number and couldn't get it on 04-Oct-2012, hence i dropped an email saying that i want to change my package clearly mentioning that its urgent and important. However none of your staff bothered to look into that email and call me back for the reason i want to downgrade nor they have courtesy to call atleast. Day before when i saw my bill i see i have been charged for 10 MBPS package instead of 516 KBPS package. When i called the staff, support team is apologizing and saying that the change of package is only at the end of month (i will not get a dream that package is only changed on month end) and they can't help here. When i asked for an explanation they said the technical team will call and answer my queries, when i asked what about my billing issue, they said the technical team will address my billing issues as well. However, support raised a ticket for my issue "Ticket No: 6566068". After sometime some staff called and before i can discuss with him about my issue, the call got disconnected. Beam tele staff didn't bothered to call me back and discuss my issue, instead i got a message that "Ticket No: 6566068" is closed and in case unresolved forward that SMS message to [protected], i got a SMS saying that escalation team will contact me in 24 hours but since then i have not received any calls, no emails. But 04-Nov-12 i received an SMS saying that my SOA for the month of Nov-12 is sent to registered email-id. Without resolving my issue how the ticket can be closed?

                    This is absolutely pathetic customer service.

                    This is Pushpendra Dwivedi from Safilguda Secunderabad and my mobile no.[protected] a very upset customer as I have never seen the worst service them beam telecom before.
                    Its been almost two months and my problem was never resolved, in spite of sending bank statements for the amount deducted for the month of Apr-13, calling almost 50 times and providing
                    Hard copy of statement at Secunderabad office my issue was never addressed, all representatives can give is just assurance that it will be taken care but guess what they
                    Don’t know what they are doing. There is a stupid guy Chaitanya from a/c dept. with who I have spoken multiple times still no go. This is really frustrating.

                      I WAS A SUBSCRIBER FOR ACT BROAD BAND WITH ID NO 10355056.FIRST 3 MONTHS THE SERVICE WAS GOOD,HENCE I SUBSCRIBED FOR ANOTHER 6 MONTHS BY PAYING RS 4046/ IN ADVANCE. NOW FROM 5TH SEPTEMBER 2012,THE CONNECTION WAS ABRUPTLY STOPPED AND ON SEVERAL ENQUIRIES IT WAS INFORMED THAT THEY ARE UNABLE TO PROVIDE SERVICE TO MY AREA AND THEY ARE REFUNDING THE REMAINING AMOUNT OF RS 2888/ WITHIN 10 DAYS . EVEN AFTER 1 MONTH THE AMOUNT WAS NOT REFUNDED TO ME. THEIR OFFICE AT MALLESWARAM IS ALSO CLOSED. NO ONE IS THRE TO REFUND THE AMOUNT AS PROMISED AND NO DETAILS ARE AVAILABLE ABOUT THE BILL/REFUND.                       Hmm as usual... ACT is very good at cheating... I guess lodge a complaint against ACT bb for absconding after taking money!!! They have done similar thing with my friend who paid around 9k for 6 months adv rental plan, he never got any connection nor his money back!!! They have office in Race Course Road as well, u can visit and catch hold of these bas****

                        I have applied for a new connection on 4th oct 2012 and paid the amount for 6 months plan, and they told the connection will be given in a week time but many times i called up to customer service and they said they will escalate to technical team and till date there is no response / call from them and till date no connection is given. there was lot of work loss for me , time and money.

                          I planned to buy super Ace commercial vehicle. i enquire about theprice and other details with the sales representative in redhills Act
                          showroom which at your control. the name of the executive is Shoban and the other one is Tamil arasu. i paid the token advance amount on
                          21.09.12 Friday they told my the vehicle will be delivered to on28.09.12 friday. the loan process for the vehicle is started on the
                          very next of my token payment.verification was done on 24.09.12. so on friday as they informed me i call them to take the vehicle they told
                          that bank process was not yet finish and same they repeat for the saturday ,so finally on monday morning i went to Act show room in
                          redhills and i ask with sales rep about the vehicle he informed me to go to madavarm and take the vehicle delivery i was waiting from 10.30
                          am to 3.30 pm but i didn't receive the vehicle. the two sales reps were saying so many reasons and not at all giving a proper response to
                          me. so through this in can say that ACT india at madavaram gives poor service to costumers

                            we are facing cable connection problem we are using act cable of (golden cable network) its not cming properly when we called the oprator sohail no is cmming switch off for 3 days after that call connected and telling rong no this is oprators no [protected] pls reffer to the complaint and do the need full for me thanks

                            I AM ADISH HARIDAS, WORKING AT INDIRA GANDHI CENTRE FOR ATOMIC RESEARCH, KALPAKKAM. I TOOK THE BIG TV CONNECTION ON FEBRUARY 2009. SINCE THEN I HAVE BEEN FACING PROBLEMS WITH THE SIGNAL QUALITY. RECENTLY ON 29 TH OCTOBER THE PROBLEM OCCURED AGAIN. I CONTACTED THE CUSTOMER CARE AND THEY TOLD WITHIN 48 HOURS THE PROBLEM WILL BE RECTIFIED. NOW TODAY IS TH E 16TH DAY. TILL NOW NOBODY HAS CONTACTED ME. I AM REALLY FED UP WITH THIS SERVICE. RECENTLY I RECHARGED FOR ONE YEAR. I AM UNABLE TO VIEW ANY OF THE CHANNELS AND I AM LOSING MY MONEY AS WELL. PLEASE TAKE STRONG ACTION AGAINST THIS COMPANY. MY SMART CARD NUMBER IS[protected].

                              My name is Ramakrishna. Here is the complaint on BEAM telecom regarding the below issue.
                              For a 6 months connection, after two months I had asked for shifting the connection, even though there is feasibility in new area, they were neither shifted my connection and nor refunded the remaining amount to me and its almost a month now since I raised the initial request.

                              I took a Beam connection in Dargah,Shaikpet on 6-JUN-2012, my Account Number is 386835. My plan was B-Max 660 and it’s an Half-yearly plan, I paid around Rs 3400 for that initially. And at that time I was told that it can be shifted in Hyderabad with the shifting changes of 200- 300 RS.

                              After two months I had to change the room to Manikonda area so I asked for a connection shifting on 11th Sep-2012 then I got a call on 12th and that person said that it is not feasible without a new box at the new location even though there is a box in next building.
                              And then I requested the owner and sought permission from owner and told the technician to put the box on 14th (Friday), then he told me that they will put box on 15-Sep(Saturday), no one turned up on Saturday, after repeated calls he gave me another person number on 16th and asked me to call him, and then I called the new person then he said he will come and fix the box at that location,
                              I was waiting for him at the building and then after some time he called me and told me that it is not possible now since he was going to some other place.
                              Then after couple more calls he agreed to come on 17th Monday, and suddenly on Monday morning I heard that it is a week off for him.
                              And I called customer care people many times in these days and nobody gave me proper answer, one fellow says that it will be done in 48 hrs and another fellow says that boxes are not available.

                              I don't know how many days I need to wait to get the resolution on this from BEAM team on this issue, since I was not getting any response from them, finally I asked them to disconnect the service and now they are saying that there will be no refund given.

                              I was daily asking the customer care team to connect me to accounts team, but they never did that and they always say that they will contact you but nobody has contacted me and given me proper response.

                              And I heard many tickets I raised were closed with the reason like unable to reach customer. But if my mobile is not reachable then I will definitely get a message after it is in network and recently nobody has told me that my mobile is not reachable except your team. And after sending mails and calls I got calls from two numbers and they simply called and disconnected without talking anything and immediately closed few tickets.

                              They are simply trying to avoid me and closing the tickets without responding or solving the issue.

                              I asked for connection shifting, even though area is feasible, they didn't shifted my connection and never responded properly irrespective of repeated calls and mails from me.

                              Is this the customers got treated? why no one is giving proper response and why am I hearing a different reason from them after repeated follow ups ?

                              Here is the way they are cheating/looting money without giving any service and here is what they did to avoid shifting or refunding money.

                              When I asked shifting connection
                              1. First said that new location has no box available freely even though the next building has a BEAM connection with a box.
                              2. Then I told them to put a box in my building also, they agreed initially.
                              3. After some days of follow up, they told me that it’s not possible to install a box also, if it is not possible then it’s their problem and they should have refunded the remaining amount to me.
                              4. Now they are saying that no refund will be given.

                              Even I had escalated this issue to the nodal office and their Appellate authority but still they haven’t given me the resolution on this.

                                Dear Sir/ Ma'am,

                                I took a connection of beam with the hope that I'll get good connectivity. Your executive Mr. Udit came and filled the form on 27th Sep.2012 ,took Rs. 1110 and told that your net will be activated within next 48 hrs. Next they your technicians came to my house in my absent without calling and fixed the cable. When I came home and check the net it didn't work and still it is not working.

                                I am calling to your customer care everyday and they are only assuring me that we'll send the technician within 24 hrs but till now after 120 hrs no one came or called me to solve my problem. Mr. Udit told me that if you have any problem you can call me but he didn't received my phone though I tried his number several times.
                                Everyday your customer care executive is updating the ticket no. 6272387 but no action has been taken.

                                Now I am seriously planning to go to consumer court and write an FIR in police also for this fraud because I didn't get any response from your side.

                                    I have raised a small reqest on customer care on 21-sep-2012, friday. As per the policy they promise that they will resolve any issue in 24hours. In my case my exact issue can be resolved in just two minutes but its been 4 days and I am still waiting for the response.

                                    The worst part is I called the customer care number the next day 22-sep-2012, saturday, after completing their promised time and this time I called them more than 10 times in a single day and every time I am getting an update saying that within no time we send our person at your address but no one has come to my home all the day. They have ruined my whole saturday just to receive the service yet no once turned up to me and resolved my issue.

                                    In the same evening I went to the nearest Beam telecome store, which is in my next lane, they have received me in the worst way and just replying me that they can only give service on monday that means on 24-sep-2012

                                    Today is tuesday[protected] still I am received a call from Beam but not the service.

                                    I feel like the company should receive a warning notice from govt for not providing promising services to the customers and everything what they show up in the promotions are just for namesake.


                                    Worst company and worst service.

                                    I can provide every details of this situation and can provide references for every statement from my end.

                                      I am using beam broadband and it is not working from 16.09.2012 and i made complaint on 17.09.2012. And there is no proper response from the company even after several complaints till this date (23.09.2012). I called many times on following customer care number of Beam Tele[protected] and there is no response or the transfer the call to some other no and finally no response from other number even after waiting for 15 to 20 minutes and its a damn waste of time. Please help me in this issue and make the company to look into the issue.

                                        I live in Hyderabad (KPHB Colony). Mine is very bad experience from the Beam cable.
                                        I registered on Beam website for a new connection on 6th September 2012. Sales person visited my house on 9th September 2012. He had collected a cheque of 5600 Rs for 6 months duration and other required documents. He promised that I will get the internet connection with in 48 hours. My cheque has encashed by them on 11th September 2012. Till now (20th September 2012, 4:30 PM) I did not get the internet connection though the cabling has done on 15th September 2012. Everyday I am calling customer care. They are saying the same answer like "they need another 48 hours" everyday. The sales person (Venkatesh) is not lifting his phone ([protected]) at all though he promised that he is the point of contact for any beam issues. I come to know that he had done all false promises.

                                        I had applied for a new beam cable connection last month back.
                                        The dealer came to my house and took the money but till now we didnt get connection .
                                        I had called them exactly 15times but no response.
                                        This is disgusting internet service provider in hyderabad i think.
                                        So any way i had done a mistake of applying this conneciton and iam suggesting to our friends not to take this connection in life by mistake.

                                        The worst customer service i have ever seen in my life. I have been suffering with partial/no connectivity from the begenning of the connection. No action taken as on today. I am tired of calling customer care and waiting for more than half an hour to connect. Losing all my money paying mobile bills for this calls. I am paying for whole month and getting partial service apart from this wasting my money and time by spending on raising a complaint. A strict legal action to be taken on your worst service.
