My Account number with Beam Telecom is 115696. I have been using Beam Telecom's broadband Internet service for about three years now. The first two-and-a-half years of relationship with Beam was due to absence of other network provider in the area I lived. I had issues with connectivity during this period also, but there has been resolution for the problem raised within a day or two.

I moved to a new location recently (7 months ago) and the service level in this area is really pathetic. Since coming to this area, the Wi-Fi router I bought from Beam for 2000/- (two thousand rupees) just before moving to the new location, was not able to establish a stable connection due to provisioning issues.

They were able to provide a resolution for the above-mentioned issue after two-and-a-half months, but for this, I had to speak to the customer care team and sent a lot of mails to the nodal officer on a daily basis. Nothing seemed to help, they will provide you service when they want..... not when you want.

From then, I started using the connection and again for the last 10 days Internet is not working, showing an error message of Limited Connectivity. For this also, I had to follow up with the customer care team on a daily basis, and yet no resolution has been found. They open a ticket and the next day they will close it without any feedback from the consumer. Fed up of this, I opted for another ISP.


Now, I raised a request for the refund of 2000/- against my router as Beam, itself as an organization, failed to provide service. I had owned this router for the last 6 months and barely I could use it due to connectivity issues.

Hence, I request the concerned authorities to look into the issue and provide me justice.

    Oh.. first of all let me thank you for rectifying my internet connection after 3 days... oh such a shame on your customer service and work ethics.... Don't you feel responsibility when one of customer calls you with lot of patience.. as they know they would have to wait for their turn as there would many terrified customers waiting for logging in their complaints and to actually speak to one of the Customer reps... oh poor Customer Reps they get to take lot of heat to take, kudos to them...

    But what the hell is the management team doing.. plucking grass.. with so many people calling day in day out with their complaints.. don’t you guys feel the necessity to revisit what your motto is and see what’s on the platter that actually goes out to the customer... And when it comes to your technicians wow they are so good and so responsible that they don’t even know they address of the customer and they call get the address and just don't turn up ... and all we as customers get to hear is door lock... and when they turn customers get shock of their life... they say they have the list but don’t have the customers numbers for them to contact.

    I really don’t understand what’s the idea behind, you not providing these technicians customer numbers.. I had to call in multiple times to see that my internet was up and was functioning. Your techies come and go and so confidently they say “DOOR LOCK” without even checking with the customer if that’s the case or if they have turned up at wrong address or if they are just making up that story as they need to address many more customers across the breath and length of the Hyderabad which is loaded full of complaints..

    I should say you have to up your game and just because of cheap price don’t think that you would be in the run for longer duration… here are few points for you to ponder upon
    - your battery backups don’t work
    - Your technicians come and just unplug the current customers to make provision for new connections and I don’t know how it doesn’t strike to your technicians that they would have to provide internet connections as well… which means that there are not enough ports to accommodate new connections and for god’s sake you cannot just unplug someone connection and give a new connections
    - Ip address …. wow so regular and so redundant problem I have come across and just to let you know there are cases where almost every alternate day I have faced this issue.. no valid ip address no valid dns address.. no valid IPv4 / IPv6

    I hope atleast you as management know what you are doing and what your supposed to do

    you telecom — Poor Internet Speeds and Service

    A complaint against You Telecom ISP. A plan for 256kbps.
    during the day time. the speeds get so pethetic that u can hardly browse or download. get around speeds of 80kbps
    when i repetadly complaint to the ISP for the speed issue. they come to my place. check everything and go and nothing happens. This has lasted for more than 2 months

    u telecom services pvt ltd — Internet not working

    W e have taken connection from u tel comm on 13thfeb and it worked for 3 days only. Since then we have been taking daily to customer care & Mr Shanar promised 24 hrs resolving time but nothing happened. Also Ms ujwalla , who was very rude , promised one day time for rectification , nothing has happende till now. Below given are the details for my connection.

    70% of the problems are with your servers, which you don't want to upgrade them or inject them with some new power....


    I hope atleast you as management know what you are doing and what your supposed to do.. and its much more that than having your CSE's call customers to let them know that they have to pay their bill otherwise connection would be disconnected...

    frequent disconnections of about 10 days in a month

    In a month internet is disconnected for about 10 days in a month of 30 Days they say they will connect in 24 hours but don't connect when I call to the customer care they cut the phone poor customer support.

        I have been using an Internet connection from Beamtele for the past 4 months. For the last few days i.e on 8th March 2013 I have been facing a problem with connectivity. The service provider raised ticket (ticket No. 7789102) against my complaint but till date my problem is not rectified, they are irresponsible in resolving the problem. I have been calling them at least twice daily, but of no use. Please render your help in any possible way. Every Time I call to them they saying with in 24 hrs the problem will solve, but I donot know how many 24 hrs they require to them for solving the problem. I work from home, I have weekly targets but since last 4 days I unable to access my system. Please BeamTele I request you to work for customers and donot loss them or test their patience.

        BeamTele — Not fixing the internet service which is out of order.

        I am raising the complaints by the Beam Tele costumer care they are closing the ticket without sending the technician. This is happening from past 15 days.

          Hi,

          I had paid the entire years subscription along with the money for the wireless router on 15th Feb with a promise from the sales rep that the internet would be activated in 2 days time which never happened. I had to make numerous calls to get them to set the connection up. They finally provided the connected however till date the wireless router has not been installed. I have made numerous complaints, they send sms saying complaint has been resolved. It has never been resolved till date and I end up making so many calls regularly and it is frustrating to have these call centre reps hang up on me because they just cant resolve the issue. I have been promised a call back within 24 hrs every time I call and surprisingly it never happened till date.
          I am honestly fed up with the service and apathy of the call centre executives, they don't make an attempt to understand what the problem is and the sales and technical team does not even speak politely to the customers. Can someone please help me.

          i have subscribed for 6th monthh package on 11-10-09 with assurances from
          beam cable operatot that they would provide satisfactory service.but,i have to say that is has been extreemely outrageously terrible.we have not ha one straight

            We are using beam telecom(fiber net) services from past 1.5 years. past six months the service of the company is worst. suddenly internet stops working , if we call the help line of the service provider they tell us we will restore the connection or solve the problem with in 24 hrs. it will not happen with in 24 hrs they will take average of 48 to 64 hrs to rectify even some more time.recently i have raised a complaint on 5th March now the 7th march till the problem not solved nearly i have celled those people 10 times always they have communicated us resolved in 1 to 2 hrs time but it will not happen. some times they make you stay in call for more than 10 min with out any response it's a very irritating service provider.

              Hi,

              I am Sanjeev Kumar. I have had a very unprofessoinal customer service experaince from Beam Telecom. I have been using Beam Telecom since 2 years. For the past 2 months I have been complaining about the network connectivtiy problem and to my surprise every time a ticket is raised and it is closed without my confirmation. This time I have had a call with an UTTERLY UNETAHICAL UNPROFESSIONAL guy whose name was Raju (as told by him). He sugested me to go to this site and complaint against him., What a Customer Service... Superb?

              I just wanted to talk to any techincal guy who is working on my ticket to know if they are really working on it. I have a call recording of this unproffessional guy to prove my above statements. If this complaint is being reviewed by any BeamTelecom officials, I would request them to take this issue forward and train some moral ethics to the customer care representatives who interact with customers.

              Advice: Dont go for Beam Internet. Its customer service is WORST.

              I am even looking to lodge a complaint in consumer court against this unprofessional guy and Beam Telecom if this behaviour is not changed while interacting with those guys.

                I am a new beam customer registered few weeks back. when they come to register they speak very politely but jst after we pay the money they show their real nature. After continuous phone calls(since 3/2/13) a person came twice and installed the Internet setup but couldnt configure a simple router (DLINK). Since that day i have been calling to ram([protected]) and nagraj ([protected]) for technical help. I also told them that if there is any person available to guide me through phone, i can configure it myself. but they say that the technical person will be there by tmrw since 11/2/13. I am in urgent need of Internet (laptop and mobile) and calling these people everyday is a waste of time. even the beam customer care is of no use.
                please take necessary action so that such problems do not occur to other customers in future.

                  I have ACT internet connection with 10MBPS line for last one year. I am staying opposite to Koramangala police station - 8th block , 3rd cross Koramangala.

                  The connectivity went on good for about 4-5 months. Later on there were frequent cuts from the service and I used to log a call on ACT helpline and it used to get resolved sometimes in 10 mins, 30 mins and sometimes in a day or 2.

                  From Dec'2012, the internet connection went for a toss for several times, everytime somebody used to cut the wire off outside (not sure where) , after complaining on ACT helpline, their engineers used to come and fix the wire. This became so frequent that it used to get disrupted the same day it was fixed.

                  We somehow got to know that the people who used to cut off the wire are from @HATHWAY ... they want monopoly and want everyone to use their connection by not letting other service providers in our area.

                  I am not sure if this is ACT's or HATHWAY's problem to sort out their issues on legal grounds but I am suffering in between. I dont want to go for HATHWAY as ACT was my preferred choice.

                  I want this complaint to be taken seriously and give me my internet connection back.

                  ACT — Transfer order

                  I have changed my house to the next street and registered to transfer my broadband connection two weeks back. But there is not even a single response from their side, ACT has all database of new address . Finally they gave a executive mobile number , i called him and even he didn't respond. its been three weeks now. Since I am working from home, all my work has been lost. Pls help out on this

                      Dear Sir,

                      I am an Internet customer for beam telecom pvt ltd. I taken B-Max 660 plan for 6 monthes and Paid 3630 Rs. on Nov 29the,2012.

                      On Jan 7the,2013 as i am not getting Internet, i called to customer care[protected] and complained. Next day problem solved by technical persons i was getting Internet.

                      Again same problem on Jan 9the,2013(day after day to Jan 7the), i called to customer care and complained.

                      Next day i was happy, by getting Internet. again after browsing 2 hrs same problem. i called to customer care and complained.

                      I faced same problems on alternative day till 13the Jan 2013.

                      As i asked to talk withe technical person, he was theere on Jan 13the, 2013. He came to our building and told me about providing power supply for thee switch. It is not possible for me because i am a rental.

                      At thee same time theat switch was kept witheout owners permission. Even i am ready to give power supply, owners are not allowing theat switch.

                      Technical person told me it is not possible and removed all thee power connections. Because of power supply to switch theey kept my Internet account on hold. I am in great need of Internet, i asked for refund my amount, so theat i can go withe otheer service.

                      Some account persons called me and telling theat amount was not refundable.
                      They are unable to solve technical Problems, Holden my Internet account and not refunding Money.

                      I am calling theem daily and asking for solution...
                      I have all proofs, Please try to solve my problem...

                        Beam tele is trying to capture the market, but their response standards in case of any issue are very poor. I have account 292282 with them and
                        my internet connectivity is lost 6 days back and each time I call them they say they need 24 hours, there is no proper escalation process.
                        one need to wait hours together on phone if need to talk to supervisor who doesn't even have relevant info. Technicians are provided with phone which doesn't have incoming call facility. Its has very poor system which cannot ensure timely solution for issues.

                          Took a new connection from beamtele. Naveen from beamtele came and registered, gave a cheque for installation(550)+first month subscription(650) on 29th December 2012. He told technician will come within 48 hours to give connection. He did not turn up till 2nd December 2013. When I questioned him why, he casually responded with a blink 'sir it was new year, thats why'. I was surprised by his attitude :-) Anyways he got the connection done and asked me for service charge, i gave him 50 rupees. Everything was fine until 8:45 PM the same day when the internet connection disconnected. Called customer care thrice just to hear only one response "sir the ticket has been updated and forwarded to the concerned team, you will hear from them within 24 hours'. This is all they know and can do. IT IS SO DISGUSTING AND IRRITATING. Anyways next day morning the person came and TO MY SURPRISE - they said that the connection was taken from a nearby LEASED LINE AND NOT FROM A GENERAL LINE which is completely WRONG. LEASED LINE IS MEANT ONLY FOR THE CUSTOMER WHO OWNS THE LEASED LINE AND NO ONE CAN TAKE CONNECTION FROM IT AND THE OWNER HAS THE RIGHT NOT TO ALLOW ANYONE TO TOUCH THEIR LINE. So this shows how knowledgeable the technicians are and quality of service they provide. So now it will take another 3 hours more to get a LONGER CABLE FROM THE BEAMTELE OFFICE TO GET A CONNECTION FROM A LITTLE FARTHER DEVICE. SO I AM WAITING AS I WRITE THIS REVIEW FOR YOU.........

                          So please be sure beforehand if you're thinking of going with BEAMTELE!

                            This is really frustrating....

                            I have requested for router configuration on 27th Dec but so far none of
                            from Beam bother to contact.. the service is really getting worse day by day..earlier they took 15 days time to provide my connection while shifting and after repeat call every time,, i am only getting answer from all excutive that my ticket will be address by today itself.. this is really
                            pathetic service i ever come across. and was never expected from Beam as I have been using it since more than 4 years..but now its worst service.

                            also on 29th Dec i requested for no connectivity but none of them address
                            such issue either....how irresponsible you guys are.

                            There are 2 tickets which did not answered so far

                              hi my name is anil,
                              i was writing this with lots of frustration, irritation, mental tension caused because of beam
                              i have given money for beam connection long back 60 days, but till today the team has not given connection to me
                              from the first day onwards when i given money to the executive of beam the person who called me maintains a local net in our area, forcing to take his local connection
                              asking why i am going for beam if any problem comes i will not take care for this you have to report to beam itself, it will take many days to resolve the issue
                              but i asked for beam , he committed to give new connection with in one week, i inquired him but he is telling to take his local connection .it has been going till 60 days right now but no response from beam or either him
                              i used to call beam customer care 10-15 days per day they are saying that it will resolve in 24 hours, also you will get call from them. i frustrated on beam connection. As there is no complaint registered in beam.
                              every time they are saying that they have registered complaint, for the mobile you will get complaint number but it was not happened till now
                              i have on-calls weekly thrice at 10pm, in that time where i have to go for internet connection for on-call
                              i am working as a consultant for a company, they provide some work to do, make a project to submit
                              because of this i am unable to do this because of no internet. Client has scolded me for the loss of time. Beam has to answer this.
                              when i asked the beam team no one has responded properly, saying to go branch office for reason of delay
                              this is the care taking by the beam customer team. some body from beam executive said that your money will be refund within 15 days , raise a request before 30 days.
                              but till now that is not done. when i asked today they are saying that it will take another 1 month, it has been proved that beam was cheating the customers by collecting the whole amount (plan amount + installation) at first time

                              itself. this type of irresponsible executives were placed in beam when i requested to forward the call to team lead they are saying that there are no lead or supervisor for this, they only work on this.
                              i have some questions to beam: 1. without knowing the feasibility how the team was collecting the money from customer ?
                              2. if the feasibility is not there how many months will it take to realize this ?
                              3. with out giving connection they are taking amount (plan + installation), when i asked to refund the money it will take 15 days, finally they are saying 15 working days which may be around 2 months?
                              4. why the beam has collecting the whole amount on the spot, why they are taking 2 months for refund ?
                              i want my beam connection on high priority or money back immediately since it passed more than 60 days for this

                                Iam a regular user of Beam Fibre internet broadband from couple of years. In the month of August 2012, I have paid the amount of 410 rs as a monthly bill through my Andhra bank debit card. The transaction was failed but the amount was deducted from my account. On repeated calls to beam customer care, i was told to contact my concerned bank as according to them the amount was not transferred. In the mean while as the month was near end, I paid the internet amount again. For solving the failed transaction issue, I visited my nearest bank and said the same to the bank manager. The bank manager took my complaint and told me to contact their internet banking department. After multiple calls, I was told to talk with the bank manager. After visiting the bank, manager showed me the mail where the VISA department said that the amount was transferred successfully to concerned Beam Fibre's account. He forwarded that mail to me which I forwarded to Beam Fibre's Customer care people multiple times but they didn't bother to reply to my mail. Some of the people whom I mailed the issue was Yogita Sharma and one Srikanth Billa.
                                Every time they say their accounts department will call and even after having a call they don't close the issue and refund my money. They always say their account departments will call again.
                                I want this issue to be closed as soon as possible. I will not pay full internet bill for this month as I have already paid 410 rs extra in the month of August.

                                  I was owning an ACT Broadband Internet Connection and decided to cancel the connection on 1st October-2012 because i shifted the house to Bannergatta Road, Bangalore where this internet provider is not having feasibility.

                                  There was a refund of Rs 494/- against the security deposit which i have made. I tried reaching customer care through mails and calling them directly several times. They are telling that DD was sent to my address on Nov 03-2012, but still i have not received it. There is no response from their side nor replies.


                                  Please help me out to resolve this.

                                  I had applied for a new broadband connection from ACT Broadband on 20th July 2014. The brodband package I opted for was 15MBPS, 50GB plan. I paid 6th months advance, INR 7746, via HDFC bank cheque 295824. I was told installation will be completed in 7 working days. Even after contacting the sales executive for 15 days I did not get the connection installed at my place. I applied for cancellation on 7th August 2014. I have not yet received any refund from ACT broadband till today and they have stopped replying to my refund request.

                                    Hi,

                                    My name is Sashidhar and i am a brand new customer of beam, who is baffled by the tedious and the most unreliable service that you guys provide.

                                    I never thought that my very first experience with beam is going to be so bad that i already started regretting my decision of taking your connection.

                                    Its been 10 days since i made a payment and i was promised the new connection within the next 48 hours.... But that never happened , after atleast 10 calls or so simultaneously to the support team and also the sales rep near my house, i finally got the cabling done yesterday afternoon that is the eighth day!

                                    And now i found out its just a dead cable and am not even able to see the portal page nor i received any additional information about what to do next.

                                    Unfortunately the promptness in taking cash from me is not shown in providing me the basic initial service. This kind of behavior from a company like beam saddens and frustrates me.

                                    I called more than 30 times for a resolution. Do u guys at least now care to help me out and set up my connection ASAP!! please!

                                      Sir, In my area Beam telecom is providing internet services.Area sales person taken check of amount 4580 for service for 1 year.the amount is credited in Beam N/w account on 1/10/2012.Proof: i have a sms in my mobile). i have keep asking the customer care regarding the connection status,they are entertained till today saying it will take 2 days to revert you back. i have visited they office in madina guda once. no progress since also. today morning they called and telling that they cannot provide the internet connection.
                                      However in my area many people having the Beam N/w in there houses.

                                      my complient
                                      1. if they wont provide connection why they entertaned till these many days and money also not given back
                                      2. I am a engineer i missed many ofmy activities personnelly/Professionally
                                      3. When we went there office for status ,person over there is not having/informed the info and status about the issue from there office.

                                      Please take the action and suggest me for any further action to be taken.

                                        I live in Domlur layout bangalore. I have subscribed for ACT broadband since Feb 2012. The service was awesome till mid of OCT-2012. Then start the problem with the ACT people as well as a person in neighborhood. The ACT box is setup in one of the homes with out the permission(house owner argument dont know if it is true) of the house owner and the house owner had to argue that his electricity bill jumps beacuse of ACT box. There have been multiple complaints with ACT customercare to shift the box since mid of OCT 2012. There has been no action taken nor the technicians come to ACT DOmlur office. Such a bad support system I say. Fix this problem immediately. There are 10 connections disrupted due to this all because of ACT and worst landlord who switch off the box even after getting paid for installing the box at his home.
