I am using Beam telecom for Internet service and my Internet is not working for last 15 days. I have called them several times, but no use. It's a worst service provider. They always say issue will be resolved in 24 hours whenever you call.

Jaipal Reddy, I totally agree with you, I never saw such a worst service in my life, trust me BSNL was lot better. beam is such a worst service, they do not even refund the money for internet nonworking days, the escalation department is the biggest of the joke. the moment you forward a unresolved complaint you get a sms saying "we hope your problem is resolved" and close the ticket again. am having the same problem with beam last few weeks trying to shift to poineer to see if their service is any better. or finally back to BSNL at least I get the speed they promised and line always active unlike beam where do not even know what joke service they are providing to others

    Hi All, My name is Winston Antony Almeida, I live in TC Palya, KR Puram and a victim of Act broadband’s pathetic internet connection. I am writing to you after having spoken to the customer care, emailed helpdesk and also updated issues on Facebook and twitter. It’s been 6 days since my internet connection isn’t working, as per my dad, it wasn’t working since 30th May, but since I wasn’t in town, I lodged a complaint with Act on Sunday, June 1 2014 and I was assured by a certain “Praveen Kumar” that my internet would be fixed by 6:30 pm on June 1st after having gone through my twitter page and the Facebook wherein i had mentioned about ACT broadband’s disappointing Internet service. What surprises me is that when I opted for ACT, the person in charge of collecting forms (Nathan Novan) came in running and was at my doorstep in 15 minutes, he collected the cheque etc and left only to assure me that there would barely be any problems with ACT broadband. Once the Internet was installed, or March 17th, I’ve faced terrible issues, I’ve not had internet for 4-5 days straight (the same has been updated on Facebook, along with the screenshots of complaint numbers I received). You could also check twitter for reference (@winston1306) Just want to know, if this is a scam? Because I have never faced anything like this ever!!! As a matter of fact, my old ISP BSNL, worked without issues, and even if there were, it would be fixed without having to complain to them. Every day that I call “your” customer service, I have been assured it will be fixed that very day but to no guarantee and this goes on and on. Also, in regards to the Turnaround Time, I was mentioned 24 hours at the time of being a customer, now they say 24 business hours, which means 3 whole days of no internet. When is this issue due to be rectified? By the way, I had a call with Avinash from customer care department yesterday around 6:30pm (You could check the call details and hear him say the timeline) “Sir, the issue might take a month or longer to be fixed!!” I also feel your Network Engineer’s are not qualified enough to do the job, as they have come to my place atleast 10-15 times in the last one month to fix my problem alone. Their names are – Vinod Kumar and Arun Kumar. I am also updating the same in the consumer court forum as this considered to be public harassment.       Greetings, I am using Beam telecom for internet service and my internet has not been working from past 3 days. I have called them already 8 times in these 3 days and the issue is still not fixed. It looks like no one is bothered to look into it or care about it. All my work has been held up as I work from home some times. This happens 3-4 times every month. Thanks

        I am from Bangalore, Srinagar area, my Internet is not working from last 5 days, despite raising complaint there is no proper response, even I threaten to disconnection the connection they are least bothered, this month I have got almost Rs.150 extra mobile due to repeated calls which I have made to Act Broadband customer care. This is not happening for the first time, their connection is not consistent, suddenly it disconnects and everytime I need to call customer care. I am in trouble because of this, I work in a industry where I need to support my team / client midnight and just imagine the situation.

        I do Agree with this comment. ACT Internet service is worst than ANYTHING.. You'll enjoy speed and connectivity only for the 1st 30days.. After that It's really hard to deal with them.. ACT INTERNET SUCKS>> Don't go for it... From JAYANAGAR 2nd Block.

I subscribed to BEAM telecoms on 25/5/2014 for 6 months package BMAX-, 2660 with Registered mobile number :[protected], i called to customer care unable to connect hardly when i get connected they said tech is going to come when came he is saying power supply is not available from were we connect the beam its very silly reason again i called they are saying tech will be coming till yet not responded either plz refund me or else get connected as soon possible.

            I have paid Rs1710/- for reinstallation of my connection on 20th May 2014. My beam service ticket no is 12439979. The commitment date for re-installation was on 20th May itself. However since the last 4 days I am have not been able to login. I have made innumerous calls to Customer Support and all they do is to update the information. Today its 24th May (4.30pm) and not a single technician has even called us. It seems Beam is just not bothered about its customers. Everytime customer care simply asks us to wait for 24 hrs and still no connection. I asked the customer care if I could get a Supervisor's number but they simply say that they don't have any. l would really appreciate if some serious action can be taken on them so that they resolve this issue ASAP.               Bills already been paid for whole month, my 40 GB o[censored]sage (15 mbps speed) hadnt been fully utilized and internet slowed down around 30 to 32 gb o[censored]sage. Now while i complain customer care regarding this i am told that my FUP of 40 GB has already been finished.I have been using slow internet after my 30 to 32 odd GBs and now way to recover 8-10 gb lost due to their damn problem. Its not about the 8-10 gb that i have lost this much, its about the service the so called 4th latest broadband ACT is giving and their reply from customer care to get away from the problem.                 I have paid on 4th may for 6months, they came and fixed the main box on stairs by 13th may and not given the connection, since 16th of may i have been calling to them morning and evening, the customer care team is telling we will forward the request to area manager, they will call back you and solve your problem, from 16th they are repeating the same, no one called me, no one attended to give the connection. I sent mail as well twice, no one replied. My complaint number is [protected]. Is there any thing can we put a case against themI fed up to call them, but trying with my patience.

                Thanks for your update. As i got informed that tomorrow evening even any time by 7-30 or 8pm it will be resolved, but yesterday also not came. Hope at least today it will be resolved. If not it will be as usual. Or else please accept for you can't install and pay back my amount

                    Dear sir/madam, I am G.Vinay kumar, from Hyderabad. I subscribed to BEAM telecom on 10/04/2014 for 6 months package BMAX-599, with Registered mobile number :[protected], On 2nd month of My usage, i needed shifting of my internet connection to other place. I requested beam customer service about my shifting of connection on 2/5/2014. They took about 10 days and more to check the feasibility for shifting my connection & Its been 18 days by 19/5/2014 they Haven't Responded to my calls instead they generate a new ticket or update my complaint. I want to UNSUBSCRIBE their service & need REFUND of my money as soon as possible. I haven't used my internet even for 1 month.( Requested shifting on 23 rd day of my usage) & they are saying even their negligence for 18 days to shift connection costs me one more month of my usage! what kind of justice is this ? please help me in REFUND OF MY MONEY RS.3000/-.

                      Hi, We applied for New ACT Broadband connection and have noticed highly unprofessional response from company's customer care, after registering complaints for more than 15 times, the issue is yet not resolved, the payment is made from out end for a new connection but we haven't got the broadband setup at our place. Moreover now we have received the bill and are told to pay it. We don't know hot to handle such situation. Please advise.

                            Hi, This is shyam. I raised a request to shift Beam from old house to new place(Sriram nagar colony, Hyderabad) on 25th April 2014. But still after 3 weeks, they have not done that. Even more worse is that evry day i am calling Beam Customer Care and getting the same response "Box is full.Will Construct a new Box in another 24 hours". I have send email to Nodal Officer of Beam.Then also no action done by them. Now lost all hopes on whether they will provide me Internet service or not.

                            Today they have installed a new box in my house.But still to do wiring, there will be delay it seems.

                            Why cant they complete the full installation+wiring in 1 day itself, so that i can start using Internet today itself?

                            Note: It has been 13 days since last i have browsed internet and 18 days since i first raised request to shift Beam connection.

                              I Rakesh, my complaint is against Beam Tele technicians and employee who are in higher position. I had taken connection on 5 th may 2014 till now internet no instalation..during package discision time taken advance as well as installtion payment from me and i got suriry there will not be any problem after connection but package person said that tumarrow means 6th of may our technicians will come and the will do installation and set up but tecnicians didnt come on that day...then i follow up by mail as well as by phone, msg ...and request to send any technicians for the set up internet but till now(11th may 2014) no technicians come to me..daily from 5th of may. to present day i m calling to them but they not coming.. all time telling we are busy in meeting, have some work...ok that is fine but meeting or any other work may be up to 1hr or 2 hr ..after that they can come but not came..now i am feeling i did mistake why i taken choosen tele beam service..thinking this is world worst service...i have never ever faced this type of problem before. suggesion to technicians either you come and check the status or disconnect my connection with fully return my money.                                 My internet is not working from past 10 days . My profession depends on internet and without internet I am jobless . I have made numerous call to Customer Support and still there is no response . The bill for the this month is already generated by ACT . They have not fixed the internet problem . I took this to twitter by posting about the issue on the ACT twitter page . Still no response . I hope posting on Indian consumer complaint forum will help .

                                    Every week I got to register a complaint that my ACT broadband stopped working. And they take 2 days to solve a problem. Out of 7 days, I use only 5 days of broadband. Feeling frustrated with their service. These were my complaint numbers: April 22: [protected] April 29: [protected] - Solved and again one more complaint April 29: [protected] May 6: [protected] Kindly advice me how I can use your so called "High Speed Internet"? I dont know if that is the issue with the box installed or the issue with the technician sent for resolving the problem. But if again next week I got to call customer care for such problem, I am going to disconnect ACT. I would take some dongle which is much better compared to such pathetic Broadband connections! ACT wakeup.. You are losing customers!!

                                    Here are my complaints:

                                    7th July: [protected]
                                    12th July: [protected]

                                    Sorry, I was not able to complain issue in between 9th June to 7th July since I was fed up. But later I realised to report so that I can have a record of your issues. Every time, they take 2days to resolve an issue and your so called great technicians just show their attitude upon asking some queries on the connection failure. I will keep this thread updated.

                                      Dear Sir/Madam, I am Rakesh reddy with Registered mobile number [protected], I subscribed BEAM Internet connection for 6 months package. On 2nd month of my usage I needed to shift my connection & I requested beam customer support for shifting connection on 2/05/2015.The customer support people told me they will check feasibility with in 48 hrs. I called them after 48 hrs they said it will take 24 hrs more. They keep saying it for 5 days that it will take 24 hrs more. I'm frustrated with their worst service. Please help me in solving my issue & shifting my internet connection as soon as possible.

                                        Guys be Aware about this fraud, They are a uniformed fraud under company name, We like there service only and only and only because their internet speed or else ACT will not stand anywhere so far, but they take disadvantage of their Services, Guys aware about it If you do not pay their bill just for a month Due to any reason could be anything without any Intimation they will charge you 500 rupees hard earned money, Truth no problem payin for the mistake But same time we should have Intimated About It, Those Guys will never do it infact They will come with their own Policy which unknown with Consumer, Guys [censored] their Services They are just A culprit Taking Advantage of it, i have Decided to Opt their Service wake up guys Let them know where they stand And impact of Cheaning Customer
