1. Internet went down on 11th and the complaint was raised on the same day. Received acknowldgement auto message from ACT as issue will be solved in 72Hrs .
2. Issue was not solved even after 72Hrs and when called customer care on this issue, the said that, there is box related issue due to which network is down and will be up in a day.
3. No improvements even after 4 days, when called customer care, they are helpless and we dont have anyone to contact on this further, except customer care and their email ID shared by team (nodalofficer.[protected]@actcorp.in). Unfortunately, there is no reponse over email, and customer care had hardly any information on this.
4. Somehow able to get local engineers number from locality while they were laying cables for other connection and when called them, they said, house owner vacated after cancelling ACT connection wherver main box was kept, and due to which all other networks from this main box got impacted.
5. when asked for ACT team for backup plan or atleast what is their next plan and restoring the connection, they had no clue.. Finally I asked them to place the main box in my premises and avaoid frequent visits inside residential premises due to COVID pandemic. They were not ready to place the main box inside premises but wanted to put on outside but taking electrcity from my premises which I denied and asked for other options, which they never had.
6. Requested for Disconnection of the internet and refund of the amount which was made (1280) on 16th August 2021. As per ACT records, it is 17th August 2021.
7. post calculation from 11th August from when services were down, 792.9Rs was the amount to be refunded - is what conveyed by ACT . and it is expected to be credited within 4 days.
8. There were multiple SMSs from ACT to update back account details to refund the amount, but when clicked on links it showed links expired. Same was conveyed to customer care and they informed that the amount will be refunded to original payment account.
9. Called Customer Care on[protected]:40PM - they said their team will call back in 48Hrs and refund process will be shared.
10. Called Customer Care on[protected]:55PM - they said it will be credited within 7 working days from 6th (the day which amount to be refunded is approved) towards original payment.
11. Called Customer Care on[protected]:20PM - they said stll on refunded (He told within 2 days it will refunded) and asked for callback - Mr Salim had called and said, by 20th before 12PM money will be refunded and he will call back 12pm to confirm.
12. Called[protected], customer care said, it is already credited to your account twice on 6th and 7th of september.
13. Today[protected], so far no proper update nor there is refund . It has been more than a month now.
If same was done from customer, shouldnt customer pay penalty or late fee on payment ? Similarly what do we have with ACT Fibernet .
