I have made the request for a new connection and paid for the same on 5th May 2021. Since then there has been no intimation of the installation process. Every time I call customer care, they ask me to wait for 24 hours. I have emailed multiple times to appellate.[protected]@actcorp.in, helpdesk.[protected]@incredible.actcorp.in, and nodalofficer.[protected]@actcorp.in, but no resolution. I've provided the attachment of the payment made and the email that I've sent.

I am seeking a resolution to this. Either the installation takes place or the refund should be done.

    I have requested for new connection on 7th may.they told to pay the amount and complete the signup process and the connection will b done in 2 day or max 3 days.and I have done all on 7th itself but tilll today I didn't get the connection when I called the customer care they misguided me they say to hold and automaticaly the call will b disconnected...

      Hi,
      I raised a disconnection request mulitple times for my ACT fibernet account. At last it was disconnected on 4th May and i was told that refund will be given in 5 days. I have not received any confirmation on refund and have not received it yet.

      Neither i know how much refund they will be giving. I raised multiple tickets for request of refund, but they are simple closing it without updating.

      For taking money they will come without call. And they will call you 10-15 times. but when it comes for refund then these people don't even check with customer if they received the refund or not.
      Please help in getting a refund. I have paid amount till 10/June/2021 in January as an advance payment. I can attach my invoice bill if needed

      This belongs to Bangalore city.
      The reason for disconnection was that they have a very poor customer service, i asked them to shift my connection but they never bothered to, i waited for 7 days but no call from their side, so i switched to another vendor.

      These guys are coming up with a new excuse for not giving refund.
      Firstly they told disconnection does not have any reason mentioned thats why no refund, now latest they are saying that as you have taken package 6+1, refund can not be done.

      Still no update on my refund, they generated a new invoice which clearly says due is -717, but no refund yet.

        Hi,

        This is Srikanth customer of ACT Fibernet with A/C:[protected] writing this up after a number of follow up's and not getting any proper response from the customer care and not sure if the ticket i raise would ever be solved.

        I raised the Transfer of Ownership [Paid Service] Ticket on 28th April'21 and till now 11th May'21 there is no communication regarding the process whereabouts. I even contacted with the nodal officer but in vain no speedup not even that ticket is left as is.

        Would like to request you to help to solve this issue by taking necessary actions on the pathetic service inspite of paid service

        Post raising the complaint ACT responded by giving high priority to the ticket with immediate customer care support which wasn't there until i raised the complaint and they took the action needed in resolving the same on the same day. Thanks for addressing the issue which was pending since long and got closed within no time when complaint raised. Thanks for Consumer Complaints for following up to resolve such gaps which are there in companies.

          Delay in connection and not updating the status

          I have applied for ACT connection almost 5 days back and made payment for 3 months plan through their app. Initially a technician came to my home with a wrong router for which i had asked him to check with his team since it would not support my plan he refused to do so.             I have submitted my proof at the time of taking internet connection. I have given the aadhar proof where my name was correctly updated. But the ACT fibernet Team wrongly updated my name and I asked to correct the name as per the proof which I have given earlier.But now they are saying that there will be charges for the name correction.Kindly help as there is no mistake from my end

              The support people do not have the patience to listen or answer the questions asked. The keep reiterating what they know and never answer the question. When provoked to answer, they disconnect the call. Horrible service! Not the first time this has happened, Act team please work on upskilling your folks or replacing them with better skilled employees.

                I have requested that my internet plan be downgraded to the basic one which costs about Rs. 660 (incl. taxes) per month. This request was raised as SR[protected] in APril. On APril 13, I received an email that the change would be effective May 1. But, on May 2 ACT sent me an invoice for Rs. 967.60 (which is the old plan charges). I called on 6 May and raised a complaint SR[protected]. Again, ACT just closed it saying it will be effective next month (which is June). Calling customer service only opens a ticket and nothing fruitful happens.

                I have been with ACT for many years and this kind of run-around is NOT acceptable. I want the new plan with the lower rate to be effective May 1. Otherwise I will not pay the bill. Thanks.

                  I requested a new connection to the act fibernet more than a week ago and paid in full amount.
                  Still now there is no contact any of the engineers or the customer care who promised me a connection within a day or two.
                  This is really disappointing.

                    We have paid ACT internet INR 1488 towards broadband connection and they could not provide services for some reason which we are not aware but till now the payment has not been repaid even after one month. Even after so many complaints nobody from the company has bothered to respond.

                      I was promised to get the connection by 2 Working days by the agent at the time of booking and payment. But once the payment is done there is not update and action taken.Its already one week passed. The Agent is not responding. Such a awful and pathetic service. The Customer Care support is so careless. They are asking one day time but it's four days they have taken.
                      Now i am frustrated and i want my full money back. I don't want to be use this service. But they are not taking action on either way.

                      If this is the quality of service before installation then what to say after installation.

                          Hello Team,
                          I am experiencing the same issue with Internet installation process is delay where i have asked for a refund and they have not paid the amount and every time i call them they say 24 hrs some one from Finance team will call and re fund the amount, but no one calls.
                          Looks like ACT is a cheaters company and they want eat Customer money.
                          They have also blocked my number.
                          I will have to raise a consumer complaint on this and publish that ACT is Fraud company in all leading social media sites.

                              I am Act Fibernet Customer of ID[protected], Mobile number:[protected]/[protected]
                              I am sorry to send this message; I have been a subscriber of ACT fibernet to my home, since 4 years.
                              One year back, I shifted my Residence to Malleshwaram, Bangalore Home.

                              Since August 2020, no proper connection of ACT fibernet, I have subscribed for 300MBPS speed, I am receiving only 45-50 MBPS.
                              I informed this to Malleshwaram Area Engineer of Act Mr. Manjunath not less than 8 times over the phone, he tells, will come or send somebody to correct it. In September 2020, ACT area person told me, I will change the cable in a week till now, not changed. I brought this information to Mr.Manjunath also; he is always telling me to rectify today, but today not yet arrived.
                              I am fed up with ACT fibernet connection, I am having two college going children and a doctor, pursuing his higher studies and Myself as a government officer attending many files from home, but nothing is happening due to your unresponsive service.
                              Since last week I alternatively every day contacting Mr. Murthy and Mr. Manjunath nobody is rectifying the issue. I registered complaint in Customer support through, without rectifying they sent message, its attended and ticket is closed.
                              If I frankly express my feelings, I am waiting for the annual subscription of act fibernet to complete, so that I can change my Internet provider.
                              Your head Officer, Regional Office and appreciating office are useless better close for the sake of the public.

                                    I have requested ACT fibernet to reconnect my house in DSNR, Hyderabad in January 2021. I have also told them if I do not get the connection in 48 hours it would not help me. They took the request and said they will provide me connection in 72 hrs max. Then their installation team started calling up saying they do not have a junction box with free port. They were saying they need to put a new box somewhere and give me connection. I have then cancelled the re-connection request. The internet service was never provided to me in January 2021. Again in April 2021, i have tried to approach them and asked if they have resolved Junction box issue in my area. They said if I put a re-connection request they can connect. I put a request in 2nd April . They said they do not have a box, but will put a box at my premises and give discount as well..
                                    When they have provided connection around 5th April, i have received invoice for April. This includes Rs 265.94 for January 2021. I have raised numerous service requests and have told them that in January I was never connected and never received internet service. Every time I have raised a complaint i was assured the issue will be resolved. But so far no luck. I have called finally on 30th April, explained that I wish to disconnect ACT Fibernet connection siting above issues. I was again assured this time this will be solved. Today i have received invoice for May also. When I was called by the billing team for payment they have sent me links saying this link will work for just April invoice amount and excluding January balance. It never worked even though I wanted to make payment to the April bill.. ACT Fibernet also have suspended my account April for 6 days siting non payment. Well.. I was trying to make the payment for the bill that I should legally pay. I have not received any discount for the electricity they are using and rent for holding their box at my place.
                                    Considering all above fuss and realizing its just a way they play with their customers to make the money I have raised a request for disconnection.
                                    Can you please help me removing the additional charges that was put on my inJanuary??

                                    I am looking forward to speaking to ACT Fibernet.

                                    I have raised several complaints. But every time the complaint is closed without full investigation .

                                      I have been ACT Fibernet customer for the past 3 to 4 years. For the past one week we have been visited by people who claim to be ACT employees to access the junction box available at my house. However I have not received calls formally informing about the same. There are two main issues regarding this.
                                      1. This is a pandemic time and we can't allow just anyone inside our house.
                                      2. We don't know what those people are capable of. We don't even know if they are your employees. So security issue.

                                      How do you expect us to allow some strangers during these extreme times. Despite us warning them about the same in a polite manner, those people do not seem to budge. They keep on harassing us continuously.

                                      Either remove the junction box from our house or cancel the connection at the earliest. If this issue is not resolved then you are prompting me to take a legal route.
