Hello i am an act fibernet user i am not getting proper wifi
i am paying for 150mbps but i am getting only 20 to 50 mbps
i dont know whats going on i have been calling act but no one is responding what kind of service is this

    I have requested ACT fibernet to reconnect my house in DSNR, Hyderabad in January 2021. I have also told them if I do not get the connection in 48 hours it would not help me. They took the request and said they will provide me connection in 72 hrs max. Then their installation team started calling up saying they do not have a junction box with free port. They were saying they need to put a new box somewhere and give me connection. I have then cancelled the re-connection request. The internet service was never provided to me in January 2021. Again in April 2021, i have tried to approach them and asked if they have resolved Junction box issue in my area. They said if I put a re-connection request they can connect. I put a request in 2nd April . They said they do not have a box, but will put a box at my premises and give discount as well..
    When they have provided connection around 5th April, i have received invoice for April. This includes Rs 265.94 for January 2021. I have raised numerous service requests and have told them that in January I was never connected and never received internet service. Every time I have raised a complaint i was assured the issue will be resolved. But so far no luck. I have called finally on 30th April, explained that I wish to disconnect ACT Fibernet connection siting above issues. I was again assured this time this will be solved. Today i have received invoice for May also. When I was called by the billing team for payment they have sent me links saying this link will work for just April invoice amount and excluding January balance. It never worked even though I wanted to make payment to the April bill.. ACT Fibernet also have suspended my account April for 6 days siting non payment. Well.. I was trying to make the payment for the bill that I should legally pay. I have not received any discount for the electricity they are using and rent for holding their box at my place.
    Considering all above fuss and realizing its just a way they play with their customers to make the money I have raised a request for disconnection.
    Can you please help me removing the additional charges that was put on my inJanuary??

    Hi, So far my issue is not resolved. The box put outside my house is also not removed.
    I am looking forward to speaking to ACT Fibernet.

    I have raised several complaints. But every time the complaint is closed without full investigation .
    I have never received a call from billing department.

      I have been ACT Fibernet customer for the past 3 to 4 years. For the past one week we have been visited by people who claim to be ACT employees to access the junction box available at my house. However I have not received calls formally informing about the same. There are two main issues regarding this.
      1. This is a pandemic time and we can't allow just anyone inside our house.
      2. We don't know what those people are capable of. We don't even know if they are your employees. So security issue.

      How do you expect us to allow some strangers during these extreme times. Despite us warning them about the same in a polite manner, those people do not seem to budge. They keep on harassing us continuously.

      Either remove the junction box from our house or cancel the connection at the earliest. If this issue is not resolved then you are prompting me to take a legal route.

        I'm using his service since 2 years. The start was good with no complaints. But since 6 months i have many connectivity issues and there no direct customer service until u wait on a hold calls of them for long time. Some time they only call you the next day after the complaint has been raised. Now i decided to change the broadband but i wanted to write up few line about this Act fiber and their service.
        1. You have to start working on customer quick service and not on the next day. We are working from home and it needed to be resolved at the earliest.
        2. You need to provide the details about how my data exhausted? I was happy with 300 GB you gave earlier and i don't use all of it. But now your 500GB is been exhausted before end of the month. How can i work with exhausted date? Why do i need to buy extra data by giving more money? This part is so ridiculous.
        3. In this competitive broadband services you need to be able to maintain the back end service and issue of your own not when i raise a complaint. It is your job of course !!

        However i decided to change the service but want you to know issues you have at your end.

          I disconnected act connection on 29th of march due to my router issue which purchased from act with 2700/- after a month of my initial connection days .

          In march 2021 month i have faced lots of connection issues, raised a couple of tickets respective to my act...i was paid for 150MBPS pack for year but i used to get speed of ~10mbps later after investigation by your site engineers they where told me that it is router issue. So they took away my C5 tp link router saying "router in warranty will replace the router" on ~26th March 2021 after that they have not replaced my router back. After 4 days of my patience I made disconnection request on 29th march.

          Post after my disconnection:
          Later I spoke to customer care regarding my router and my account balanace. They said you account balance was ~6548/- this will be refunded to your account(for the same account which I paid to yeary pack. After that for the router they said we will refund the router amount as well with the same account ...after some days they said we can't refund but will give you a new C5 router.

          Till today every day I call customer care regarding this issues no resolution found from last 1 month ..i have raised many ACT tickets with help of ACT cutomer care.
          Today after 1month also my two issues are not sorted out, 1 refund of my balance account 2 reversal of my C5 router or refund.

                    ACT is acting too much worst. I am using act since 2017, in the starting 2 years we had problems 2 or 3 times but since 2019 there are lot of internet connection issues, availability issues, service is very worst. Customer care people don't respond properly and they have fixed set of answers everytime. Shameful service by ACT.

                          I am looking forward your help and suing ACT fibernet for placing the router in my house without my permission and also not giving any benefits to customer.

                          It has been more than 3 years they are using my house for their services but being customer i have received any benefit. i have request customer care team multiple times and there was a request logged on 1st Apr 2021 but till today no one has contacted me on this.

                              I had initiated a disconnection request on Apr17. I got a call from an ACT representative([protected]), on Apr 19, where I was subjected to totally unacceptable and rude questions as to why I moved to some other provider, I do not understand who gave the representative the rights to say things like that. It is the customer's choice to switch to whatever service provider they want to at their discretion. Please advice your representatives to refrain from making some remarks on switching customers.

                              After the rude call, I called up another representative from ACT, to request them to remove the junction box, since my connection is already deactivated, I do not want to provide power supply to your junction box. Again no response.

                              I was told that ACT has "norms" which do not support refunds if disconnection is initiated in middle of the month. I am already incurring loss of close ~Rs.500, along with abusive words from your representative, I do not find any reason why I should endlessly wait for your staff to dismantle the junction box and power supply. I have "norms" not to support the same till end of this month since you have "norms" which do not allow you to refund.

                              I will go ahead and disconnect the power supply to the junction box, since I find it unnecessary to supply power to your junction box endlessly, when ACT does not even care to consider refund.

                                  1. 10 days extension on my service for the internet down that was fully avoidable and caused due to negligence and non-action.
                                  2. Details of their offer of 18% discount on bill + rs 50 per month

                                  Details:
                                  ACT has not properly compensated me for 10 days of outage (2nd April to 12 April).

                                  (Photo 1) Via official email, they have assured me rs 50 + 18% discount to fix the CX box in my house, but after fixing they have become silent and avoided this topic.

                                  (Photo 2) CX box about to be demolished. The old house owners had requested them for many months to remove the box, but they did not listen. Still we requested them and they were nice enough to stop the demolition and save your box. What a contrast of nature between them and you.

                                  Note: I had requested the for better compensation because my electrical scheme in ground floor is commercial and rs 50 per month is not enough, and i had asked for rs 100 per month. Also, as i had to take an unlimited mobile plan worth 399 during their 10 days outage, i asked for +1 month extension. But they have not even tried to negotiate, and instead they say they will not compensate anything! Amazing!!

                                  They refunded 10 days worth of balance in my account as credit, and spoke to me about it and how it works with my billing. I am willing to forego the topic of the CX box, but as a suggestion, i hope ACT fibernet can make things like the power rating and any power consumption testing data more public so we can be satisfied that the rs 50 you compensate is not insufficient.

                                    I asked for new connection on 7th April. Service guy came and promised that connection will be done within 2 days and i have to pay 2513 rs based on the plan I asked for. I paid the amount that time only through my paytm wallet.
                                    After 10 calls installation guy came and told me that there is no connection available so he can not do anything. So i asked for the refund.

                                    For refund i called ACT customer care on 12th april and raised a request. This is the SR[protected] request number assigned by them.

                                    I got a message saying ACT team will contact me for bank detail for refund and it will be done within 4 days.

                                    After 2 days i get message that my request has been closed. When i checked with customer care they said refund has been done. But i haven't received and single rupee in my account or paytm. I asked them to open the ticket again. Now they are asking that you send your transaction history to them. I have done that also. When i asked for transaction id then they didn't had any answer.

                                    Next day again they closed the ticket. This happened 2 times.
                                    For taking money they will come without call. And they will call you 10-15 times. but when it comes for refund then these people don't even check with customer if they received the refund or not. And when you call them they give silly reason that refund will take 15-20 days. I haven't seen anyone transferring money to my paytm wallet will take 20 days to reflect. Their customer service is pathetic. This is the last option i can think of.

                                    Recently I removed the router by your staff and they ask me to call customer care after 2 days...and exactly after two I called for refund purpose...they told me to deactivate the account first...when I check for deactivation there is no such thing as deactivation. So please kindly help me out.

                                      I had recently placed a request to change my plan from 6 months to month on month. The reason for the downgrade is because I want the invoice in my name but it was generated in my mother's name (Previous owner). The team said they cannot change the invoice to my name. Since its a 6 month plan, I requested it to be changed to monthly plan so that I can make the monthly payment and from next month onwards invoice will come in my name.

                                      Changing plan - Doesnt it sound simple. For the last week, nearly every day I am calling about this and they have taken an action to change the plan as of Apr 21st. But my last day to make payment is Apr 15. I cannot make the 6 month payment and I need to make the month on month payment. I have been calling several times to make the plan change immediately but still no response. On 16th my line will get disconnected. Please assist!
