Dear All,

I had installed ACT Fibernet and for the past 2 days I am facing problems with a reduction in speed up to 30 MBPS and right now my internet is down I called the representative who had convinced to buy me the ACT fibernet he is not responding, he stated that if within 30 days I disconnect it will be refunded.

My Reuest for disconenction number is SR[protected].
Please look into it and arrange for refund

    Hi!

    My name is Ekambaram B. My registered mobile number is [protected]. My user id and account number is[protected]. I have been ACT fibernet customer from past more than 2.5 Years. The services provided by ACT fibernet Chennai customer care is really pathetic. We can really judge the service of a company where the floor manager himself has very bad attitude.

    ACT was placed a Junction Box in my Building & given a Internet connection.

    On 2nd March 2021 A guy from a Service team of ACT approached me stating he need to take a connection from the junction box. I waited for him for almost 5 hours he didn’t turn up.

    After 5 hours a guy from a service team (SIVARAM BALAKRISHNAN EMP NO 26558) approached me & said he need to give a connection to behind street of my house. He said he needs to go to my Terrace to give a connection.

    But I told him I can’t allow you to my terrace (No wire is coming from terrace) since we have a garden at the Terrace. HE STARTED SHOUTING with BAD Words & Rude Attitude which triggered me & stopped him.

    He said if I am not allowing him to my he will remove my connection with that Junction box. I told him that my connection is active & I am an existing customer is this the behavior you show.

    For that he told for me New customer is important than the old & removed the connection with the Junction box. I am informed him that I will cancel the service & will raise a complaint.
    He shown his ID Card & told do whatever you do.

    I called the customer card on 2nd March 2021 & filled a complaint & requested for cancelation, but they closed the complaint stating cable issue.

    Poor Customer support & least bothered of the existing customers.

    Till Today (8th March 2021) issue is not addressed by anyone from ACT team.
    customer care service was not at all reachable and that us why i had to call Bangalore number and get the nodal officer number and reach him. But still it made no use. My question is that when i dont have services for atleast 10 days in a month then why should i pay the bill for one month service? Also for a service why should i keep calling and following up being a customer. When you people don’t value customer, then neither i value your service. I called in today as well for an update and the status is still same. They were asking for 48 hours ETA. I know that this email will never reach concern team nor it matters to you guys of one customer has deactivated the ACT service. But i will make sure that i put up my experience in social media and blog about this for sure. I will try my level best to make my friends to avoid such pathetic service

      I have disconnected the act fibernet on September 2020 itself and requested a refund. But still, now I haven't got the money back. I paid 3564 rs for 6 months plan and used it for just 3 months. they said me that refund has been processed back to your account in September 2020 itself but the money has not been reflected in my bank account. As proof, I have sent them my bank statement from September 2020 to January 2021 and informed the customer care almost more than 20 times but there is no proper response from them. Really I haven't seen the worst customer care response like this ever.

        Dear Sir,

        This is with respect to connection #[protected], we have raised the ticket for shifting of junction box almost 10 days back and still the same is not been done and due to which I have to bear additional rent and poor connectivity issues. With busy schedule and with poor connectivity issues, we had followed up with customer care team multiple time but our efforts are vein and getting lots of stress is added. This pop-up BP and other health issues to me and added lot of frustation. Fiber Act is not giving refund and not allowing to go to other internet service providers as well. Grateful, if you could take action to resolve my issue.

          Hello,

          I'm an ACT Fibernet consumer and have been using this connection for the past 2 years. My account no. [protected].Recently I had a situation where I had to shift to a modem from one room to another within the same address.

          So I raised a ticket on Customer care for shifting purposes and there was least response on the first hand and next very shocking fact is that the shifting amount they charged(650 rupee) on the customer without informing from both customer service and service technician. This is really very high.

          I have already taken the basic plan of 799 which I thought will be economical and affordable for and in any unavoidable circumstances is bearable, but the amount for shifting by itself is very high when compared to my monthly due am paying.

          Kindly reason out why do you charge such a large amount on the customers without informing the service cost and why on other hand when i have the modem in hand and when you just need to get me the connection alone on that locality and we pay monthly bills around that is bearable for us. During change of modem from one to another there is no additional cable used. Moreover one of the main reasons to change the modem cable is taking it through concealed wiring. The technician did not do the work as expected. Irrespective of all these they charged this huge fee.

          keeping such extra pay load on us, i don't think it is appropriate.
          If you really think that this amount is fair enough for the customers I expect a proper validation.

            ACT installed Junction box at my house. Since then we have been experiencing power outages. I have spoken to their customer care executives many times but there is no response from their side. We have been facing many problems. I have already told to repair persons who come and give connection to new customers to remove it but they will say that they will come next day but they won't show up despite calling many times. You people are acting like leeches. ACT customer care is the worst. Very bad experience.

              Hi I called the ACT fibernet helpline to downgrade my plan from the existing plan to one lesser. The customer care guy called AKASH kept insisting that this can happen only for the next billing cycle. I have called on March 04 where the usage has been negligible and on insisting on talking to his manager refused to patch the call through I think this is not acceptable

                I have been trying to get in touch with your company, but no one cares about this I have tried all the medium still no one responding, maybe around a year back my tenant had installed the act fiber junction box in my building and they had some sort of deal with you I don't know how much was that but I was compensated by my tenant when they left the place since they have vacated the place the box is still in my building and drawing current through my meter which I pay the bill. they have vacated the place in October since then I have been trying to get in touch still no response I spoke to the local guy who has installed the box and has shared my bank details ( AS I AM NOT AN ACT FIBER CUSTOMER for obvious reasons )with them either reimburse the pending amount within 48 hours or else I will just cut the cable and throw the box in the dustbin it's up to you I have waited to get sorted for almost 4 months you tested my patience

                  I have registered for new connection and the sales guy called me and reached my place immediately, without knowing availability Promised me that on the same day set up will done.
                  which did not happen. when i consulted with near by people they told me ACT is not available at my place. I applied for the refund on 23rd feb 2021, after six days ACT raised refund service ticket (SR[protected])It has been two weeks and still i did not receive the refund.

                    Account no[protected] Hyderabad. Act technician gave wired connection and activated router on 01/03/2021 for 12 months plan. So according to this Package Start date should be 01/03/2021 to 28/02/2022 but to my surprise, I saw package start date is 27/02/2021 & end date 26/02/2022 which are WRONG.

                    Wrong 27/02/2021 to 26/02/2022
                    Correct 01/03/2021 to 28/02/2022

                      I want to disconnect my connection permanently, I am not satisfied with your service, its highly charged and not getting the 100mbps speed acc. to my plan. third party is giving much better plan is cheap price. customer services is very poor quality.

                              I have taken the new Act connection on Feb 19. I have paid for ACT lightning plan but after installation ACT Strom plan was reflecting in the app. Then I enquired in customer support they said they will change the plan with 24 hours. I have raised the request on Feb 20 but still no one called back for the issue. I have been calling regularly each day but still no response. After I spoke to the customer service person today (Feb 25) the ticket was closed automatically without any communicating to me and the service person was saying that the plan change will happen on next month only and he was saying he can change but will need additional charges. It is a fault of ACT to activate a plan then the one for what I have paid for. Why should I wait for 10 days when I have paid fully for a plan and use a downgraded one.
                              Pathetic service from the customer support . These is no intension to resolve the issue and I couldn't find how to escalate higher.

                                I opted for ACT new connection of 6 months plan for which the executive asked me to pay a certain amount of money. The next day he tells me that the company isn't approving for a 6 months plan and that my money will be refunded. It's been 10 days since he told me this and I haven't received any formal receipt saying that my refund has been processed. The customer care is less than interested in solving my query.

                                  I had requested for a new connection on February 3rd 2021, and paid advance payment of rs.4194. 4 days later their team said that it was not possible to give the connection, so I immediately asked for a refund on February 7th 2021, after 15 days still no response from them. Guys can you please guide me how to take complaint against these fraudster company??

                                    I have closed my subscription plan on 13 January 2021 and raised a refund request. For the last 1 ad a half months I am tired of calling the ACT call center and writing dozens of emails. These people are so ignorant and reckless about refunding the customer's money. I am waiting for my refund for 1.5 months. I request the concerned authorities to take severe action in this and help in getting my refund as early as possible.

                                      I am a customer fro past 7years..never had a problem but 2days past my quota is showing as completed. changed router password and act portal password. puchased 20gb free bytes on 18th feb 2021. it also gone in 30minutes. called customer care..they listened and disconnecting call. today 19th feb2021...again purchased 20gb that is also gone in 30min. no one from act is listening to me even after24 hours i am going to file a consumer complaint. my name is suman and my number is [protected]

                                        I paid Rs 10090 for ACT Lightening plan 6M+1M for period 11th Jan to 10 Aug. Later without my knowledge the period extended to 31st August and asking for balance amount for 20 days. On non-payment the line is disconnected today 19th Feb 21.

                                        Concerns:
                                        1. Who asked to change the plan period
                                        2. Why line is disconnected when amount is still lying with ACT

                                        Request:
                                        1. Either provide apology in writing for change in billing period, and now for discinnection
                                        2. Or reduce the billing period.
                                        3. Else, please continue with disconnection and refund the balance amount.

                                        Very very unprofessional behavior. From 1st Feb almost everyday i got threatening call for disconnection.
