Slow Net issues since the last 6 months.

I have been using ACT fiber net for the last 3 years and have been having issues since the beginning.
The net is extremely slow and sometimes the router just switches off and needs to be restarted manually. The wifi doesn't work when the person is in the same room as the router, leave alone the rest of the house. If more than 3 devices connect to the net, it's extremely slow and doesn't work sometimes.

I have requested for disconnection of the services( account no :[protected], since the services provided / frequent disconnection of internet in peak hours and no service in weekends.

SR[protected] dated 21st Dec -2020 was registered for the same- To disconnect the connection permanently and initiate the refund.

on 23rd Dec, i received an email saying "Dear Customer, your request pertaining to disconnection of service has been addressed as per your discussion with our representative. Thank you. Regards, Team ACT"

Received another email on 23rd Dec

the same day i received a call from multiple people, why i wanted to disconnect, for which i have i told them due to improper service i want to disconnect, they tried to retain me however i have taken another service provider connection, i didnt want to go ahead with Act Fibernet, which i told them clearly.

I recieved another call from accounts department :[protected] a lady- she asked me why i want to disocnnect, i have told the same thing as told to other executives

on 4th Jan 2020, i have called Act Fibernet to check on the status of the refund, i was told the refund initiative has been rejected ( reason they said its not written here)
I have asked them what is the status of the account, i was told the disconnection in temporary, to make it permament disconnection they will raise another request and then refund will be initiated.
SR[protected] - Dated 4th Jan - they have raised the ticket to refund.

I have been Act customer for several years at Hyderabad ( account No :[protected] i have got 5973/- which was excess from hyderabad account after disconnection was transferred to Vizag act fibrenet connection A/c :[protected].
All my problems started after shifting to Vizag and taking Act connection here on 24th Oct 2020

First I had taken 3M subscription, paying them 1797/- a basic silver plan, after using couple of day, i found the internet speed not good as per my requirement, on 24th Nov I have again upgraded my connection thinking speed may be the issue by paying 4794/- upgraded to 6M - Gold plan, however after using for one more month

    User [protected]@gmail.com Mobile [protected] I have requested to shift the wires 4 days back as box is in my house but there is no response from them. They promised to complete the work on 01/01/2021 by 06.00 P.M. But no body turned out. Simply they are closing the ticket without sending any engineer to site. It has happened 5 times. I re opened the ticket and again they are closing. The neighbor also got the same problem as he got disconnected and the ticket is closing frequently. Very worst Service. How they close the ticket without enquiring the customer I don't know. Please take action against this company. I am also proceeding to consumer forum against Act Fibernet.

        Worst customer service I have experiences, i have made the payment on 22nd dec. Today is 30th Dec, still no installation. While registering I requested that I need urgently, they made false commitment that it will be done. The representative in Bangalore "Vinod" : not even answering my calls.
        Such a fraud company it is.
        I paid 7600, there on payment page it was mentioned if installation not happens within 48 hrs, you will get refund.
        But they neither refunding nor answering calls.
        Very Bad experience.
        Not sure even after connection how would they provide services if they install.

          I took act service on the month of October and faced quite a lot of issues with disconnection but was still using the same suddenly one day a call came stating no junction box provision in your are hence we raise a request to disconnect your connection like this
          (You act service is deactivated due to CX/HT services )

          But i payed them for 3 month for which i was promised to be given the amount which I didn’t get till now as i used the connection just for 10 days.

          I made repeated calls to get my money back for which they said its processed and will get my money by 7 days and for 3 weeks I didn’t receive any but now when i call them they said I’m not eligible for refund ( But the fact is they raised a request and disconnect my connection and also took my modem and all ) but till now they haven’t credited my money.

          Now the have said they will open my complaint again Ref SR[protected] i kindly request to return my money back as the disconnection is done in act end as not feasible. Not from my end and i took another service provided followed by their request.

          The complaint has not been resolved no call from the company has been made to me regarding this further more i called customer care and asked again they haven't processed. And I have submitted the modem also attaching the receipt too. Yet I ensured nothing from my end is pending there still not sending my money back and not to forget the fact they cut my connection and not me.
          Now kindly repay my money back instead of closing it.

            I got my broadband connection on 4th of November 2020
            Later after 1 day
            The internet stopped working,
            After 2 days i was told that we need to install a termination switch in your house &then it will start working again, My Land lord rejected to install termination switch as it would need extra power supply & drilling in walls.
            So I asked techincal assistant to find another way.
            After 10 days of waiting &no internet they told me there is no other way.
            You go for refund.
            I called customer care several & after heated conversation they agreed for refund & told me one the Team recover the router your amount which you had paid INR 3841 will be refunded.
            I waited for 1 week.
            Got my refund which was only INR 590 as you can see in the screenshot of my mail.
            I called them again & they told me some money has been deducted like 200 for service & INR 3000 will be refunded once we recover router &it will take around 15 days.
            I waited for 20 days called them again &again
            All they say is you will receive a callback from Refund team &has closed my tickets.
            Noone has taken any actions.

            I hope to get my refund amount of INR3000 ASAP.

            Guys don't register your complain here. You will get a call back from scammer he will ask for netbanking id, pasword, will ask u to downlaod a app & share your screen to see your details. It's fraud website.

              My ACT(beam) Account Number is[protected]. I am ACT (formerly Beam) customer since last 2 years[protected]. Now a days i am facing the problem of excess data usage i.e . But i didn't got any response. Its our right to have a look of our own internet usage history details. I think ACT is cheating in this regard and they are internally manipulating data so that they can reduce our internet speed. There Fair Usage Policy(FUP) is just a pathetic, fraud and cheating policy by manipulating our data. .
              The usage data consumes without using, and raised complaint but not proper response from Technical team.
              Most of the people already been cheated by act.
              So now I want to raise the complaint in consumer court to take the action on it for the particular month/day - 27, 28 December 2020 which I observed no usage with 9 gb data usage showing.
              Need help to raise this complaint in consumer officials.

                  No one is responding to the complaint and they are closing the service request which we have raised.

                    From the day i took this connection, from the day i pay for this connection Act Fibernet is providing worst customer service. They will provide best network coverage but if the connection got disconnected any time, that's it we have to handle those worst customer service. If I ask a resolution they will just disconnect the call. I'm doing work from home. Act people will not have a proper resolution. I cannot believe this network for my work from home anymore.                       This complaint about act Fibernet i book the complaint about my router set up to customer care . technical person came to my home and there damage router in front of me ie software vanished after all with some arguments there said i will handle it to dlink company sir after i follow up at last there ans please collect it your router from dlink so i collected and called him i brought the router please can you came and set up now here there shows attitude call to customer care raise the complaint that too i done it but when i asked customer care regarding this issue i want to escalate to higher level even thought no use without solving issue there will close the ticket ... we r middle class family i don't know whom do i contact to solve the problem please help me out sir

                        I requested for a cancellation of connection and the agent who took the request mentioned that I will get refund for the rest of the month. The connection was cancelled the very next day but I never received refund. I sent email to appellate authority and received a response that I won't receive any refund. However, this is in contradiction to what the agent who took cancellation request promised. They seem to ignore that fact and also failed to provide any proof of 0 refunds in their terms and conditions. Is this legal for a provider to not refund when connection is cancelled mid-month? Also, since it is their agents mistake, them refusing to issue refund is plain non-sense. If their agent made it clear, I wont receive any refund, I would have cancelled it at the end of the term.

                          Cheating with Bills and zero connectivity

                          I requested for net connection for new location, they charged me 826 Rs bill and I paid. But no one supporting me for connectivity. And in invoice it's clearly showing bill is 826 Rs, but they told me they is no extra charges only 10 days bill. Now they are saying 400 Rs for shifting and and rest is net bill and again they said now there is extra 246 payment I need to pay. It's really shocking to me with amount they are Generating bills and...

                          Hi,

                          I made a payment on august 15th 2020. Subscribed for 3 months. rs.4306(Included Installation charges).
                          I had a very bad experience with ACT service. I have raised shifting request on 1st September 2020 and the person came my location and confirmed there is no feasibility for connection on 10th September 2020. Then they disconnected the request on 16th September 2020. From that day to till now I'm waiting for my refund amount of rs.2482. After more follow-up's, Finally the Person came and collected the router and gave Acknowledgement on Dec 9th 2020. Every single day I used to call the customer care for refund simply the person raised/escalate the ticket and without our confirmation they will close the ticket. I have all the proofs with me. Then the billing team one person called me and she asked me to send router returned acknowledgement to email shifting.[protected]@actcorp.in. I did that also.
                          Today as usual I have called customer service to enquire about the refund status, the executive said your amount has been credited on Dec 12th 2020. I said no I didn't received yet. then he asked me to send my bank statement to email tnfinance.[protected]@incredible.actcorp.in. Again I called customer executive another executive spoke to me he said drop the call mam I said I didn't get any solution or proper response from your side then he cut his call. Is this is the way your treat your Customer??? I'm begging for my money not your money. Already I lost my patience. I have all the proofs with me. Now I decided to go consumer court and complaint against ACT FIBERNET . Rs.2482 is big amount for me I don't know how about for act fibernet.

                          Below proofs I have with me,

                          1. All the customer Service & billing team voice records (More than 25 executive records)
                          2. Follow up emails
                          3. Router Acknowledgement
                          4. Bank statement
                          5. WhatsApp messages

                          I will post this in social media and let ACT Corp will face it. My suggestion is think twice before you're going with ACT FIBERNET I mean if your planned to go with ACT probably you won't get your money back for sure, customer service response was highly poor. Worst service ever. I NEED MY MONEY BACK!!

                                I have asked for to change the name of my account with ACT Fibernet to my sons name which hardly should take 10 seconds for them.

                                On their part there will be no wire change, box change etc. They never even need to come to my house to do anything.

                                For the name change if they need documents I can upload it or their representative can collect it or I can even post it.

                                This complaint is being raised by Mr. SAI KUMAR RAYAVARAPU on 18 December 2020. I raised new connection enquiry on 15 December 2020 at ACT Broadband Digital Portal. A sales executive visited my location explained their plans. I made payment for the 6 months plan in advance on 16 December 2020 11:22 AM. They stated that my connection will be granted and activated with in 48 hours. I requested him to make it quick since I'm having lot work to do. The very same day technician reached my location tried to sort this out but he failed to convince the existing customer. So he asked me that he need to shift the broadband setup(more likely HUB) to my location and I agreed, he assured me that my connection will be established and activated by 17 December 2020 evening. But I haven't received any response from them. I tried to contact the sales executive, technician and customer care executive multiple times. But no use except my work frustration. As per now I was able to communicate with CC executive, and from this afternoon onwards all my calls are being ignored by the Sales executive and the area technician. Is this is the assurance that ACT Broadband trying to provide to its customers?

                                  I had ACT Fibernet connection from a long time. Due to internet service related issues I had recently requested for disconnection is service. ACT usually takes advance payment of rental. I had raised multiple tickets whenever the internet service was down and had requested for refund of amount pertaining to the days when the service was down. They had even processed my refund request and as per their communication, I was supposed to receive the refund within 7 working days. But I didn't receive the refund even after 21 days. When I followed up with ACT today, they are saying they can't refund the amount. This is a clear case of cheating the customers. They have taken the money/rental amount in advance and didn't provide the service as per agreement. In addition to this they are refusing to refund the amount. Please help me to get a resolution for the same.
