I am an existing customer in ACT. I paid my bill yesterday itself, still I am getting messages about not paying the bill. Now they have suspended my account for not paying the bill. They are asking me to repeat the payment.

    Address: They are available all over India but I belong to Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh and I believe they have an office here.

    I hold account no[protected] of ACT fibernet since October 2019. I had taken ACT Gold Plan and has been paying six months contribution (an amount of approx 5656 INR). I noticed that I am unable to consume as many GB allotted to me and since November 2020, I was trying to reach ACT and my nightmares started since then. They have a useless mobile app which I have downloaded in my registered mobile no [protected]. There is no provision at all to downgrade the present plan and it was not mentioned clearly anywhere in the app. I started getting daily three sms that your payment is over due till 2nd December. I paid 1180 INR which is one month contribution as I was travelling that month away from my place. The sms continued with new song that your account has been deactivated. I paid Rs 4476.92, assuming that 1180+4476.92 will commensurate my 6 months contribution for the gold Plan. Umpteen number of my phone calls to their customer care resulted in listening to the listless recorded messages and pressing buttons which no where address my issue.
    I caught hold of the sales engineer who got me this connection and talked to him and he told me that their operations people will be in touch with me. And nobody was in touch with me.
    As it is costing me a lot of money, I started using their whats app no. Most useless replies, that to numbered and doesnt address your issue welcomed me.
    I started using their email customer care. Result is same. An automated reply and ultimately I had an answer that my plan cannot be down graded. Good. I respect their "business practices".
    My problem still starts again, since 1st January they are shooting sms three times daily that my January bill of 1180 is pending. If I donot pay, I shall be disconnected.

    I already submitted my response. if you have any concern for the customer, ask some senior person to call me.
    I am afraid, my grievance is not at all addressed. Your customer care personnel are either ignorant or arrogant. and you send a feed back link, and when it is a negative feed back, after pressing submit button, it comes oops, a wrong link,
    A very clever of fooling and leaving the customer in frustration.

      I have deactivated act broadband service temporarily on end of Nov 2020 while deactivating the customer care agent offered me a plan for Rs.799. i have still asked to deactivate. Again on December 1st or 2nd 2020 i have called the customer care and was just enquiring about the 799rs plan which was offered to me earlier. The agent told they will check and get back to me with the plan details.They never called me back and i too left it.

      Suddenly on 31st December i have received a message saying my connection reactivation has been successfully processed on 31st dec2020. Later i received a bill with 2500 rs charges, When i called the customer care they said my service was activated since December 1st, that is the day i called for plan enquiry. With my consent the service was activated and charged for the whole month.

      Upon multiple discussion with customer care, they said they will listen to the audio conversation happened on dec 1st and said they will call me back in 2 hrs. Never got any call. Since then i was following up multiple times and never got any solution and now after 10 days of opening a ticket, a gentleman called me and said he wants to close the ticket and said he cannot go anything with the charges. Also said he dont have the access to listen to audio conversation happened earlier, then why was my ticket was on hold for 10 days?

      How should i pay without even using single KB of data??
      How can you activate my broadband service with my permission?

        Hi Sir,
        From the month of November onwards, Act fibrenet is not able to provide me service as the place/box from where the connection was provided is no more and ACT guys were unable to get permission from my landlord and I didn't use any MB for both the month of November and December. As the bill was generated in 1st of November and I used to pay my bill in 1st week itself, I have paid the amount for month of November as 1162. Since, ACT was not able to provide me service in this month and subsequently in December as well. I want to get this amount refunded to my account. Customer service is not able to help you. So, I am writing to you to help me in getting my money back.

          Hi,

          This is Sudheer from Nayudupeta, Nellore (Dt). I am using ACT fibernet and facing internet issue and raised ticket and completed 24hrs of time which customer service people said, still issue not resolved. This is not the first time, whenever I am facing the issue they are not responding and making delay all the times.

          Sorry to say this I am going to file a legal complaint in consumer court under Right to be informed category. The resolution time said 24hrs and it's completed, still issue not resolved.
          Due to this my work got delayed and also I can't able to complete and submit the work on time whenever I am facing internet issues.
          My maild is [protected]@gmail.com. Also am attaching the call list called to technician but he didn't respond and email, requested ticket number.

            I request you to kindly cancel my subscription of Sony LIV and refund the charged amount. I have tried deactivating the subscription from app but as I've subscribed from the ACT Fibernet app it needs to be cancelled from the same.

                We are sorry to inform you that!I got mail from act we aren’t ready to give a connection if you don’t keep box in your home, I have been saying since long to Keep the box in my home for my connection only; we aren’t ready to give others' links from our package, we kept 2-3 years that box in my house.                 Hi,

                I have already surrendered my ACT connection on 1st of November and the same has been confirmed by customer care lteam. Despite bill has been generated for Dec 20 and Jan 21.

                My fiber is uninstalled from my place during November itself.

                Really unhappy with ACT service and this kind of Delivery. They cheat the consumers like this.

                  I took act service on the month of October and faced quite a lot of issues with disconnection but was still using the same suddenly one day a call came stating no junction box provision in your are hence we raise a request to disconnect your connection like this
                  (You act service is deactivated due to CX/HT services )

                  But i payed them for 3 month for which i was promised to be given the amount which I didn’t get till now as i used the connection for less than 10 days.

                  I made repeated calls to get my money back for which they said its processed and will get my money by 7 days and for 3 weeks I didn’t receive any but now when i call them they said I’m not eligible for refund ( But the fact is they raised a request and disconnect my connection and also took my modem and all ) but till now they haven’t credited my money.

                  Now the have said they will open my complaint again Ref SR[protected]

                  Now my complaint are closed without even from a call from act end kindly return my money back and I have also returned the modem ( attaching the receipt for the same )

                  Its you guys who have closed my connection as no junction box feasibility not me so return the money back

                    GX Box installation and Refund issue

                    We have shifted new house I have requested ACT shift my connection to a new home. They told me there no port available in the junction box. They suggested request a GX box.
                    We had applied for a GX connection through ACT fiber net on December 14, 2020, also paid a deposit amount of Rs.2500/- towards the same.

                      Slow Net issues since the last 6 months.

                      I have been using ACT fiber net for the last 3 years and have been having issues since the beginning.
                      The net is extremely slow and sometimes the router just switches off and needs to be restarted manually. The wifi doesn't work when the person is in the same room as the router, leave alone the rest of the house. If more than 3 devices connect to the net, it's extremely slow and doesn't work sometimes.

                      SR[protected] dated 21st Dec -2020 was registered for the same- To disconnect the connection permanently and initiate the refund.

                      on 23rd Dec, i received an email saying "Dear Customer, your request pertaining to disconnection of service has been addressed as per your discussion with our representative. Thank you. Regards, Team ACT"

                      the same day i received a call from multiple people, why i wanted to disconnect, for which i have i told them due to improper service i want to disconnect, they tried to retain me however i have taken another service provider connection, i didnt want to go ahead with Act Fibernet, which i told them clearly.

                      I recieved another call from accounts department :[protected] a lady- she asked me why i want to disocnnect, i have told the same thing as told to other executives

                      on 4th Jan 2020, i have called Act Fibernet to check on the status of the refund, i was told the refund initiative has been rejected ( reason they said its not written here)
                      I have asked them what is the status of the account, i was told the disconnection in temporary, to make it permament disconnection they will raise another request and then refund will be initiated.
                      SR[protected] - Dated 4th Jan - they have raised the ticket to refund.

                      I have been Act customer for several years at Hyderabad ( account No :[protected] i have got 5973/- which was excess from hyderabad account after disconnection was transferred to Vizag act fibrenet connection A/c :[protected].
                      All my problems started after shifting to Vizag and taking Act connection here on 24th Oct 2020

                      First I had taken 3M subscription, paying them 1797/- a basic silver plan, after using couple of day, i found the internet speed not good as per my requirement, on 24th Nov I have again upgraded my connection thinking speed may be the issue by paying 4794/- upgraded to 6M - Gold plan, however after using for one more month

                        User [protected]@gmail.com Mobile [protected] I have requested to shift the wires 4 days back as box is in my house but there is no response from them. They promised to complete the work on 01/01/2021 by 06.00 P.M. But no body turned out. Simply they are closing the ticket without sending any engineer to site. It has happened 5 times. I re opened the ticket and again they are closing. The neighbor also got the same problem as he got disconnected and the ticket is closing frequently. Very worst Service. How they close the ticket without enquiring the customer I don't know. Please take action against this company. I am also proceeding to consumer forum against Act Fibernet.

                            Worst customer service I have experiences, i have made the payment on 22nd dec. Today is 30th Dec, still no installation. While registering I requested that I need urgently, they made false commitment that it will be done. The representative in Bangalore "Vinod" : not even answering my calls.
                            Such a fraud company it is.
                            I paid 7600, there on payment page it was mentioned if installation not happens within 48 hrs, you will get refund.
                            But they neither refunding nor answering calls.
                            Very Bad experience.
                            Not sure even after connection how would they provide services if they install.

                              The complaint has not been resolved no call from the company has been made to me regarding this further more i called customer care and asked again they haven't processed. And I have submitted the modem also attaching the receipt too. Yet I ensured nothing from my end is pending there still not sending my money back and not to forget the fact they cut my connection and not me.
                              Now kindly repay my money back instead of closing it.

                                I got my broadband connection on 4th of November 2020
                                Later after 1 day
                                The internet stopped working,
                                After 2 days i was told that we need to install a termination switch in your house &then it will start working again, My Land lord rejected to install termination switch as it would need extra power supply & drilling in walls.
                                So I asked techincal assistant to find another way.
                                After 10 days of waiting &no internet they told me there is no other way.
                                You go for refund.
                                I called customer care several & after heated conversation they agreed for refund & told me one the Team recover the router your amount which you had paid INR 3841 will be refunded.
                                I waited for 1 week.
                                Got my refund which was only INR 590 as you can see in the screenshot of my mail.
                                I called them again & they told me some money has been deducted like 200 for service & INR 3000 will be refunded once we recover router &it will take around 15 days.
                                I waited for 20 days called them again &again
                                All they say is you will receive a callback from Refund team &has closed my tickets.
                                Noone has taken any actions.

                                I hope to get my refund amount of INR3000 ASAP.

                                  My ACT(beam) Account Number is[protected]. I am ACT (formerly Beam) customer since last 2 years[protected]. Now a days i am facing the problem of excess data usage i.e . But i didn't got any response. Its our right to have a look of our own internet usage history details. I think ACT is cheating in this regard and they are internally manipulating data so that they can reduce our internet speed. There Fair Usage Policy(FUP) is just a pathetic, fraud and cheating policy by manipulating our data. .
                                  The usage data consumes without using, and raised complaint but not proper response from Technical team.
                                  Most of the people already been cheated by act.
                                  So now I want to raise the complaint in consumer court to take the action on it for the particular month/day - 27, 28 December 2020 which I observed no usage with 9 gb data usage showing.
                                  Need help to raise this complaint in consumer officials.
