Billing ownership name change

I am using act broadband connection and write now connection with my father name and i requested to change father name to my name

For that i called to customer care and they told me that it will charge 295 rs/- and taking 2 working days to reflect the changes so it's basically new connection only.

This is very bad service for existing customers....

Removal of CX junction box

I have been a customer for ACT broadband for past 5 years and they had placed the CX junction box in my house 5 years back, I asked the Company to remove CX box in 2019 since I was planning to vacate the house. every time a ACT personnel will visit the box to add new connection he will promise the box will be removed with in 5 to 10 days but no action taken, So I disconnected my Act connection 3 months back so that they will remove the box...

Relocation/Shifting Charge

I am an existing customer of act fibernet. I am shifting my residence another place where they already have the feasibility and networking installed. Why is the charge for shifting applicable here?

The charges the customer care said for this is rupee 650, while we already have the cables installed inside the house by the builder, what is this cost for?...

High Charges for Internal Shifting

Hi i am a existing customer for ACT broadband.
I n want to change the router to one of my near room.. When asked for the customer care for this, The charges they told is 650 which is very high.
I have the extra cables and routers, but for this they r charging too much for an existing customer...

GX Box installation and Refund issue

We have shifted new house I have requested ACT shift my connection to a new home. They told me there no port available in the junction box. They suggested request a GX box.
We had applied for a GX connection through ACT fiber net on December 14, 2020, also paid a deposit amount of Rs.2500/- towards the same.
the same is yet to be installed to date. also, we have paid 6 months payment.

Slow Net issues since the last 6 months.

I have been using ACT fiber net for the last 3 years and have been having issues since the beginning.
The net is extremely slow and sometimes the router just switches off and needs to be restarted manually. The wifi doesn't work when the person is in the same room as the router, leave alone the rest of the house. If more than 3 devices connect to the net, it's extremely slow and doesn't work sometimes.

Name Change

I have asked for to change the name of my account with ACT Fibernet to my sons name which hardly should take 10 seconds for them.

On their part there will be no wire change, box change etc. They never even need to come to my house to do anything.

For the name change if they need documents I can upload it or their representative can collect it or I can even post it.

Not resolving my internet issue

I've first submitted complaint on 19th september with #srt[protected] and they said the issue will be resolved by 20th september by 5 pm. The executive called me on that day and never appeared. They closed the ticket without any resolving the issue. I've called support 3 times to send an update to the executive and no update received and the ticket was closed at night.

Then the very next minute i called support again...

no power back up

Dear sir/madam,

Recently i switched to act for better connectivity and high speed. But to my surprise it has some issue with the power availability.in my apartment there are various other people who has act and connection is provided from the junction box within our building.in our building we have ups for common area lighting and genset as well.

I am also going through same. I paid act 2500 on 16th Aug and till now no one showed up to install the gx box. I am working form home and it’s important for me to have uninterrupted internet. installation delayed and no proper response from the act installation engineers

I enquired with act fibernet regarding new connection and they made me pay for 3 months in advance saying that installation will be done soon.

2 days later act technicians visited our home and were going around the locality looking for nearby servers.

fake billing without internet usage

Hello i am from bengaluru... As everyone know due to this pandemic everyone is working from their work station headquarters wfh or from their native place. I was away from bangalore from march until july 1st and i haven't used a singled byte of internet. Hello sir/ madam, this is vikranth vemula from hyderabad, i am using act fibernet from past 5 years.3 years ago they set up junction box in my home said they will provide discount of 100 rs per month, and from three years they haven't paid single penny and not given any discount. When i called to there customer care they simply gave 600 discount for 3 years and closed the issue, they are not at all reacting properly.. This is totally fraud...

Since no action has been taken and not received any call from ACT support personnel, i have called the customer care executive number.
