ACT Suspended my account before the payment due date

Address: ACT Fibernet - Chennai

The ACT service request # SR[protected] raised for my account suspended before the payment due date. On 1/16/2023 observed that my ACT account was suspended and when i contacted customer support team, they mentioned to pay the outstanding bill amount to activate. But i have explained the due date was 1/22/2023 as per current invoice bill showing online and sent me through email and why should i have to make a payment before the due date...

Act is doing a scam in the name of inactivation of the account. Which was the period customer is not using any wifi. Even though in our next bill payment without any consent from customer they are charging for the inactivation period and in our next bill we can use for remaining after this cuttings. Which was a very big scam doing ACT company. I have explained everything to local team lead 9f act. Since they are not doing any because they know it is a scam.

No required steps are taken so far to solve the issue.. After raising the complaint also not even single time they involved in solving the issue and simply closed the ticket as well.

    I paid payment still showing your account is suspended.. Very pathetic experience in Hanamkonda, Telangana state..No proper employees training and this leads to cheap customer support.. They are behaviour as a 5th standard guy..If I don't get any resolution, will definitely go to customer court...

        I have made the payment and I can see the payment history but still my account is suspended. Due amount is showing as 0 but my internet isn't working. Fix this as soon as possible.

          We have taken the internet connection prepaid for a year.

          During the process, they ask for an OTP for verification.

          Sales guys include the plans which you never asked for.

          Irrespective of a one-year prepaid subscription, you will get messages about existing service disconnection until you realise they are threatening you to pay for the unknown services.

          Srinivas is the arrogant sales guy and a big cheater +[protected]. A big cyber scam. Just stay away from this company. Worst experience.

          Go for a national brands.

            Hi,

            I have terminated my Act fibernet internet connection a few weeks back (17 Dec 2022).

            It has been almost 3 weeks till now and I have called them multiple times to remove the box since I have some interior works to be done on my home. They just keep responding with the lame "high priority" and "soon be resolved" customer response template. But no action has been taken till now. It's like Act Fibernet is illegally having their property on my premises even after I have terminated their service with me.

            I want that Junction Box to be removed from my premises immediately. I have no dues left and have all required documents and bills paid till the termination.

            They were so fast when providing the new connection, not during removal though. Following are the account details.

              Iam Rathinaraj from Kesavan Street, Madhavaram, Chennai. I am using your ACT network more than 1 year and I am being faced internet problem weekly twice which is approximately 8 days no net service in our Assisi Nagar Area in Madhavaram, Chennai-600060. I have raised complaints every time which are resolved after 4-6 hours, such as happening every week twice a day which has been affecting my routine work.
              I have only your customer care number which has raised the complaint ticket but who will take this consistent issue for twice a week and who will provide our 8 days lost internet hour pay. Every month we are paying the bill on time otherwise you have cut the network connection. Hence How I can claim due to this inconsistent network availability.

              I would like to inform you that I am measuring the internet unavailability time in day with your ticket proof and would like to know what way i can reclaim my hours otherwise I would take a legal action against ACT Network Services.

              This is for your kind information to avoid frequent network problems in the daytime.

                I applied for a new internet connection with ACT Fibernet Chennai and made a payment of Rs.3403(Transaction Ref#:[protected] on 09-Dec-2022. However I did not take the connection through this request, and the amount is not yet refunded back to me. I raised multiple complaints with them but did not get any response.

                  I bought a connection from ACT, with 3 months as it was mentioned that any time customer can move to safe custody and reconnect in a jify,
                  1. I decided to place it in safe custody in November.
                  2. But in December my connection was physically disconnected. On 19th December I placed a reconnection request via the app. But no reconnection was done till December 28th. So I decided to permanently disconnect it. I need to share this as a complaint to TRAI so that ACT doesn't promise reconnection in a jiffy and miss-sell their products. Please share the complaint number so that I can report this to TRAI else will share the ticket number from App as a complaint to TRAI to stop this misselling.
                  3. Secondly, Even after disconnection, i was charged on Jan 1st.
                  4. Thirdly, Even after creating a refund request, no refund has been made. Need to share all 3 complaints to TRAI. If no response is received for this complaint in a month, will any way report to TRAI and will send Legal notice.

                    I am totally disappointed by the service ACT Fibernet provides. Last 15 days the data was not working and I have raised complaint so many times, till now there was no response from their side. Their executives are very irresponsible and they don't know how to talk with the customers. Their people are ready to offer new connections and don't bother on existing connection. Monthly around 10 days their data not working and it shows their worst service. I am totally not satisfied your service and I need refund on the connection, but they fail to refund my money. I will disconnect from their service, because of very poor customer service in Chennai. Their customer care executive also not answering properly. I will legally send you a notice against them. Kindly people don't go with ACT in Chennai. They are the worst and very worst behavior

I live in madurai...i placed my account in safe custody, when requested for reconnection, they immediately started billing, but service not provided. I raised many complaints, still no use. Finally Raised disconnection request. They closed all complaints - no refund provided, incorrect billing complaints closed.

                    I feel better to complain to TRAI.

                        I used to pay 6 month once and the invoice provided does not have monthly break up. Normally any service provider gives monthly receipt so that it can be claimed at office, if required. I had raised request with customer care for monthly receipt for December 2022 billing cycle. The request is pending almost for a month. When I call customer care, they do not even speak to me.

                        2] very poor customer care service (in bound voice call) they simply put the call on hold at the cost customer

                          As per my plan, the speed is supposed to be 80 mbps but the average speed is getting is between 13-17 mbps for download and 22-25 mbps for upload. This is way too slow than the actual speed that I'm paying for.

                          My work as well as other personal activities are getting because of this. Please look into this immediately.

                            Again my net stopped working from Wednesday.Technician is asking power details for common ACT box switch. Your ACT Fibernet Ticket no: SR10366746979344 has been registered.This is the horrible experience totally no net for more than 11 days in these two months.
                            During 3 months, internet didnt work for more than 17 days.Service representative calculating in hours .Now recently there is no power in junction box and asking permission to keep power junction box in that area.When i refused they are saying they will disconnect the service and immediately dropped off the call and disconnected request ticket has come to my inbox.What a rude behaviour..

                              ACT broadband did not refund my advance amount after the disconnection even after raising a complaint with them. Every week there would be internet outage of atleast 24hrs. Within 1 month I had lost over 10 days of internet, so disconnected. Didn't receive my 1 month advance remaining with them, also received no compensation for so much internet outage.

                                I dint get internet for past 16 days..I am calling customer care but not even a single good response from them...I got frustrated..as we are doing work from home, this really frustrating...and 5 days back, they called me and said you have to put gx box, have to pay 2000inr and I accepted, because they said they will refund the box while you disconnect from act internet..I also paid the amount and they said they will give in a day itself..but no one called or messaged about connection for 4 days..its gone..it is like cheating..worst customer service from act.

                                I want my 2000inr for gx box and compensation back and also I am frustrated because of this.
                                After you transfer I will disconnect this account for sure..customer service is very bad..I called 2 days back for disconnection..till now no proper response.
                                But internet is good.

                                  I have my ACT account[protected] deactivated on 30-Nov-2022. I have raised a ticket on same day for removal of junction box at my premises. It’s going to be a month now still it’s not resolved. Every time when I called to check on the ticket they are raising a new one and to the surprise they are closing the earlier ticket without any concern from me..
                                  IS THERE ANY RESPONSIBLE AUTHORITY IN ACT ?????????? also arrange to refund the EB unit consumed so far at commercial rate as per government rule..

                                    Incorrect address on invoice

                                    Hi Team

                                    I have submitted the required documents, however the address mentioned in the invoice is incorrect. It is two building away from my house.

                                    I called customer care numerous times, only to hear that they can't change and if I want to change i have to opt a new connection....

                                    Hi, I have taken ACT fibernet connection on 20.10.2022. Without my consent they have activate OTT called Yupp Scope. I haven’t given any consent for activation. It was activated from the day of connection on trial basis for one month and chargeable from second month. They have billed an amount of ₹206 for one month. I didn’t even download the app and logged in that app as I am not even aware of that. When I called the customer care they said that I have activated it. Unethical business practices. Disgusting.
