I have disconnected ACT services in the year 2022 because of continuous network issues. No one contacted me to return router.

Now in 2023, after one year, iam getting continuous messages that they will contact me to return router. But no one gave a phone call.

I have mailed to customer care also. They said they will take care of issue.

But again I'm getting messages.

If no one called me, to whom should I return router. No one called me when I had disconnected.

But why are you harassing me thorough messages

If you have called me when I had disconnected in the year 2022, I should have given the router, why didn't you called me??? No one called me to return router. I had kept the router to return, but no call from ACT

Even now, you are messaging me that you will call to retrieve router, buy why you are not calling me?? If you don't call, to whom should I return router.

I can't put up anymore

Because of frequent network issues, I had disconnected. If you forgot to call me to return router, is it my fault??

Even now you are not calling. only I'm getting messages, but no call, without calling, to whom should I give router.

Please stop harassing me

    Im having a connection of 100mbs plan in Bangalore for 3 months, and it's not even feasible for a video call, 5 Mbps max ill get sometimes, I'm tired of calling support who is saying our we will check new router from 2 weeks, so please i kindly request remove my connection and issue refund for the rest of the months, its getting terrible

      Dear Fibernet,

      I had Act connection from long since before 2019 and now I see them the Worst Operator for customer service I have seen in Internet provider. My Account No.]. I have requested for reconnection n 17 May 2023. And 25 th May 2023. During installation the box ACT TEAM told me I will be charged on prorate basis- 7 days in the month of May will be charged. They installed on 25 th May 2023. But there was a bill generated for INR 1, 977( Containing 1280.30 for June+ Previous balance 686.30 + 150 connection charges) . When I asked about 686, they said connection was from 19th May 2023 so that is my bill. Now after so many calls they revised bill with removing 150 reconnection charges without correcting the actual billing date and providing proper break up of 686.80 I have raised complaints/requests several time. Without resolving the ticket it will be automatically closed without any proper solution. I have address the ACT total history of the case. But nobody resolved . My account has deactivated for not paying the amount .These people started cheating in billing. I have raised 3 complain with in 10 days and it is closed without any resolution and I had to re open them.Customer support quality is pathetic, repeating the same stuff rather resolving.No intenet to resolve it. Attaching relevent screen shot for your reference. There is nothing called escaltion.

        On 6th June 2023 I have opted for a new Act connection, where Vignesh from ACT contacted me and I have paid the amount for 3 months Rs.3983/-

        The installation person came to my house on the same day and installed the new connection, as the installation have not done properly without even checking the feasibility of the connection, I was facing disconnection in the internet every 10 min on the first day itself. I have contacted the installation person and conveyed the issue, he said he will come & check. I waited till 7th June the next day. He hasn’t came and he didn’t respond to my msg or call.

        I raised a complaint request on 8th of June where the installation have been moved to service ticket. I have been raising a ticket everyday till 14th June and my issue has not been resolved. And I got to know from a customer support team that disconnection is due to box failure.

        As per ACT guidelines they ll refund the amount only if there is installation failure, as my issue have been move to service ticket they are denying to refund my amount. Account no[protected]

        Customer support people (especially Jayalakshmi who is handling my disconnection request) are not responding properly. They are saying they will disconnect the service but they won’t refund the amount. I didn’t get a point they why do we opt for disconnection. I wasn’t able to use the internet till now and it’s an installation failure, they are not agreeing and they aren’t not refunding the amount as well, I feel like cheated over here.

        It would be really great if someone take action on it.

          As for emergency bases i was out of karnataka and have been updating to customer for deactivation and activation and reactivating after coming with change of data plan .Due to lack of act customer for not updating things to broadband i have been charged for unused data for 19 April to 31 may and raising complain and ticket from.the month no one has taken any action nor resolved just gvn words and promises.i have been clear from my side of job for updating things .Also i had told them to change my plan which they did and told them that last money balance on 19 April was 516rs to deduct for the 800 rs plan and reamaning i ll pay that also was not resolved not taken anything seriously.i have also visited nearest branch and raised complain even they had no answer for my question as i had done my oart of job time to time
          Further i would request to please do the needful help and support and clear my billing o[censored]nused data which i not favourable for us to pay as not used for a month and half and deduction of remaning balance for 800 rs plan from 516 rs .

            As we shifted to our new home we shifted our connection. So they fixed a connection box as there was no users previous or any other junction box around and told that every month we would get a compensation of the electricity used or will get the broadband bill with that amount cut off. Since January 2020 we didn’t receive any response or compensation towards it. I have brought this issue in focus and complained to act service providers 4-5 times was told that we’ll resolve this and get back to you but never got it until date. So I hope this would get any response towards the issue. I hope your intervention into this and get this resolved even now.

                Request for Discount or Waiver for Power Charges

                I am writing this notice to bring to your attention an ongoing issue regarding the power charges for the internet box that I have been using, which provides internet connectivity to 6-7 other individuals whose cables are connected to the same box.                 The internet is suspended after the payment. What kind of service you provide. In this age where activation takes seconds, you are making you customer suffer after the payment. This was not expected from ACT.

                    ACT Broadband guys cheating me by adding false GB s to my account even if there is low usage.

                    Hi,
                    As usual my internet consumption is very low. But in ACT records this month(May2023) my 500GB got finished in just 15 days
                    and on 15th May 2023 I recharged with 354 rupees to get 100GB flexybytes and it also got finished in just 2 days of time.
                    This is just unbelievable.
                    I confirm its a cheating/fraud happening at ACT. Their Customer service person told me that in 100GB
                    I have used 68GB but here...

                    Hi All,

                    Myself saktheesh and my registered mobile number is [protected], I was using act past so many years and I am not facing any single issues in ACT network one of fantastic network in Bengaluru, so I referred almost 12 connections for my friends and colleagues, suddenly I changed my location begur to rk township, I asked for shifting but there is no feasibility so retention team force me to disconnect the connection, they don't know how to convince the customer for ownership change also, finally they disconnect the connection
                    Now I opted for 6 month connection and I am only used 2 months, after disconnection your customer care executive called me and informed to return the router so one guy called me and he came near bommasandra gate and took act router I believe ACT always that's the only reason I am not ask anything, but suddenly they informed my number is not reachable but this is scam may be they missed the router somewhere or they done some fraud here, if they informed number is not reach means show me the call proof, I am promise that I am sure I returned the router, in bommasandra lot of cctv is there kindly investigate why becoz router is missed from your ACT end only.

                    One guy called me now and he asked why you not collect the docket when you returned the router

                    My answer is when i received the first call from customer care, that customer care didnt informed anything about docket number, she simply called us and informed us that she send one guy from ACT, please returned the router, so without sharing this docket information how the customer knows about the policies of ACT, so it is a scam

                      I have taken ACT fibernet connect from the month of February (6 months Plan) Rs. 7965. Due to their poor connectivity on every month, I requested to disconnect the broadband and ask them to refund the balance amount.

                      Since they are refuse to refund the amount, I raised the consumer complaints here.

                      Payment details are below:
                      Total (with GST) = Rs. 7965 ( I paid for 6 months) - Rs. 4840 (till 28th April, disconnected) = Rs. 3125 (balance refund)

                      And also they have not included the 3 days from 25th to 28th april (no internet connection)

                      Kindly do the needful.

                        After getting installed in the month of Feb for the pan tariff of Rs 3284 of ACT Basic _6M +Free router with free installation Every month since March
                        internet service is being suspended and then disconnected for due payment of Rs 999 .I have to write a mail reminding my plan but still they keep asking to pay installation fee when it's free or asking to paying security deposit .I am fed with this pathetic kind of service .

                          I removed the connection of my ACT Fibernet two days ago and i was told by the agent that i will get the security deposit back in two days after the router is disconnected but as I am raising my complaint it is asking me to pay the dues and i dont have any dues left. I am sick and frustrated of this issue so please get me my refund as early as possible.

                              Raised shifting request to new location and one of the engineer came and said there is high tension line near my house so he cannot give ACT connection and he will send request to higher team. After 2 days also there is no response from any higher team and no one contacted regarding same. If we are calling customer care they are saying wait and wait. If we are asking for disconnection they are saying they not refund our amount which we already paid for next 2 months.

                                I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the recurring internet connectivity issues I have been experiencing with my ACT Fibernet connection. For the past several months, without fail, the internet service has been unavailable for at least two days every month. As a work-from-home professional who heavily relies on a stable and uninterrupted internet connection, this situation has caused significant inconvenience and financial burden for me.

                                I want to highlight the following key concerns:

                                Frequent Downtime: The internet service disruption has become an unfortunate routine, occurring for extended periods every month. This recurring issue has significantly impacted my productivity and work efficiency, forcing me to rely on costly backup options to fulfill my professional obligations.

                                Lack of Compensation: Despite promptly paying my yearly bill and being a loyal customer for 5 years, I have not received any compensation or reimbursement for the numerous hours of downtime I have experienced. It is unreasonable to expect customers to bear the financial burden and inconvenience caused by an unreliable service that they have paid for in advance.

                                Unsatisfactory Service: The consistent and repetitive nature of these connectivity problems reflects a clear failure on ACT Fibernet's part to provide a reliable and satisfactory internet service. As a customer, I expect a stable connection that enables me to carry out my work responsibilities without interruption.

                                Considering the circumstances, I kindly request the following actions to be taken:

                                Immediate Investigation: I urge you to investigate the root causes of these recurrent outages and provide a detailed explanation of the steps being taken to address and prevent such issues from occurring in the future.

                                Compensation for Downtime: I request a fair compensation for the cumulative downtime I have experienced over the past several months. It is essential that ACT Fibernet acknowledges and takes responsibility for the impact these service disruptions have had on my work and personal life.

                                Improved Service Guarantee: I expect ACT Fibernet to prioritize the quality and reliability of its internet service. Implementing measures such as regular service check-ups, proactive maintenance, and effective customer communication would go a long way in ensuring customer satisfaction and confidence.

                                Prompt Resolution: I request a prompt resolution to this matter. The continued inconvenience and financial burden caused by the unreliable service are unacceptable, especially given my timely payment of the yearly bill.

                                I appreciate your attention to this matter and anticipate a swift and satisfactory resolution. Please respond to this complaint within 2 working days to avoid further escalation of this issue.

                                Should I not receive a satisfactory response, I will be compelled to explore alternative service providers who can meet my expectations for a reliable and consistent internet connection.

                                  After using them for the last few years, their service now become a headache, they claim top speed and been charging over 1300 each month but the internet speed has been poor for the last couple of months I raised several complaints but their reps would ask to cancel the complaints which is sort of red flag, they were suppose to changed the wire to the main router which they never did. It really pain to reach out to this company but they would call you and ask to take a 6 months subscription. Be ware of such companies with no commitment to their customets.
