I had requested for a new connection on February 3rd 2021, and paid advance payment of rs.4194. 4 days later their team said that it was not possible to give the connection, so I immediately asked for a refund on February 7th 2021, after 15 days still no response from them. Guys can you please guide me how to take complaint against these fraudster company??

    I have closed my subscription plan on 13 January 2021 and raised a refund request. For the last 1 ad a half months I am tired of calling the ACT call center and writing dozens of emails. These people are so ignorant and reckless about refunding the customer's money. I am waiting for my refund for 1.5 months. I request the concerned authorities to take severe action in this and help in getting my refund as early as possible.

      I am a customer fro past 7years..never had a problem but 2days past my quota is showing as completed. changed router password and act portal password. puchased 20gb free bytes on 18th feb 2021. it also gone in 30minutes. called customer care..they listened and disconnecting call. today 19th feb2021...again purchased 20gb that is also gone in 30min. no one from act is listening to me even after24 hours i am going to file a consumer complaint. my name is suman and my number is [protected]

        I paid Rs 10090 for ACT Lightening plan 6M+1M for period 11th Jan to 10 Aug. Later without my knowledge the period extended to 31st August and asking for balance amount for 20 days. On non-payment the line is disconnected today 19th Feb 21.

        Concerns:
        1. Who asked to change the plan period
        2. Why line is disconnected when amount is still lying with ACT

        Request:
        1. Either provide apology in writing for change in billing period, and now for discinnection
        2. Or reduce the billing period.
        3. Else, please continue with disconnection and refund the balance amount.

        Very very unprofessional behavior. From 1st Feb almost everyday i got threatening call for disconnection.

          I get 1 call and 2 messages minimum everyday for the past 1 month. I tried blocking the numbers but every day it changes to another number too. I am so annoyed by these promotional messages. The worst part is I don't mind reactivating the connection but now I live in a city where they don't even have service.

            Hello,

            We have been ACT subscriber since couple of years. I'm writing here with regards to my continuous complaints to the ACT customer care service with respect to the tele-communication service charge that is an extra amount that was charged on my current bill as compared to my older bill. I'm not sure what miscommunication is going on, everybody whom I spoke to since 8 days, told me that today the engineer will come to the filed visit and will check the tele communication service and will deduct the same from my bill. Till now none have come nor neither my bill was settled.

            And they are so irresponsible, not at all assisting me properly for every small thing I need to spend lot of minutes speaking to them everyday.
            It would be great if you can address this issue immediately.

            I'm sorry to say this but, It is really a very disappointing service.

            I have persistently told the representatives that my account is very close to due date and it might get suspended but they were so stubborn that, they told me it won't get suspended and we have put an extension on your account.
            Now see, today my account got suspended who will take the responsibility. Please reactivate it, just because of this damn issue we need to face such difficulties and spoil our work. As all the work is done remotely these days, we have to depend on your service. I even told them, I will pay and give me refund later but none have paid attention to this.

            I would really appreciate if you can help us with this. If it is not possible with you guys to resolve such small issue, then we will definitely try to look for other competent internet service providers in the market.

              I am using act storm on Feb 1 I activated and deactivated my Netflix account of act and after some days I have been overcharged I didn't get to know that still Netflix is added when they we do not pay bill they will be calling but if we activate or deactivate something they will not make a call there was a option to deactivate so I deactivated over there when I said them I deactivated they are saying u have to deactivate through call...I got shock then why was the option there...I was having so many calls from them to pay bill but I do not want to continue because it was not a good service they are forcing me to have connection and pay bill so I said them to deactivate the account so that they can be quite they didn't do that also and not providing service in time...And they are asking router back I have seen so many services not taking router back but they are taking this is totally unfair ...

                Hi, Present am using Act Fibernet service. It is installed on 31st January, 2021. On February 1st a new bill generated to me with due date of 10th February. I have taken one month plan. It has validity upto 29th February. Today my internet service is disconnected due to pending bill of Rs 19/-.

                On calling customer care, they said that I have validity upto 29th February. And I have pending bill of amount Rs 19/-. That's why they disconnected my service. And I asked them that I have validity upto 29th February, if I didn't pay Rs 19/- then you can disconnected on 28th February. Without answering further customer care disconnected my call. How silly it is disconnecting service for Rs 19/-, still I have 17days validity. I tried calling customer care numbers [protected], [protected], but there is also no response.

                Although I have proceeded to pay that big amount (19rs), but in online unable to pay that amount. What to do now?. Through this consumer cell am requesting all users that don't take this Act Fibernet service, am suffering with their service since registration.

                  Hi,

                  I have requested for a plan downgrade and removal of suspension from my account, and I have been calling and raising tickets with the team and always the associates say that it will be activated between 30 minutes to 4 hours. And, I have followed up many times since 2 days. I would really appreciate if you can resolve such miscommunication issues. Please let the customer know, what is the real issue and how long it will take, at least we could make any arrangement.

                  After series of calls with the associates, the ticket associated with this issue has been resolved. I appreciate your help but this should have been at the initial calls itself. There is also another ticket on different account which is still pending. I hope they resolve it soon.

                        Hello i am an existing customer of act fibernet. I am shifting my residence another apartment complex were they already have the feasibility and networking installed. Why do you charge for shifting in that case.? What is the logic behind this?

                        The charges the customer care said for this is rupee 650, while we already have the cables installed inside the house each room by the builder what is this cost for?

                          I am struggling to get the subscriber name change on my wife's name, but since one month I am following it and there is no response, created lot of tickets and they are being closed by giving the reason, there must be technical issue and the ticket got closed. No information prior to closing the ticket.

                          Services get better day by day, but ACT Fibernet is becoming worst day by Day.

                              I have referred my friend and it has been more than a month now, Still I have not received any update or confirmation on this.

                              I have also raised this concern from my ACT home help page, Apparently no one reached out to me.
                              Then, I spoke to the agent he assured me of receiving the confirmation but I have not received it till now.
                              Disappointing service.

                                We had a payment of Rs.28, 312 ON 21/01/2021 for a new BB connection & until today your executive Mr. Saleem from Hyderabd has not been able to activate our service stating that Router installation is not his job . what kind of a service is this ? For collecting amount you people are standing ready but for service 0% . kindly check our details on the registered no. [protected].

                                We paid the whole amount at one go trusting ACT Fibernet but sorry to say the person Mr. Saleem introduced us to his highly professional . We want to switch over to some other company for our services . Requesting you to refund our amount made for the internet connection. Even a single day we haven't used it.

                                  This is to bring to your notice that despite of raising a request with ACT Fibernet customer care executive in order to cancel my subscription towards Sony LIV app, I've been charged for monthly charges. I request you to kindly cancel my subscription of Sony LIV and refund the charged amount.                                     Dear ACT team,
                                    After months and months of horrible internet connection and poor repeated service we would like to cancel our subscription with you. We have two routers from ACT and both seem to be at fault at the same time. As this is for a proper office use, we cannot afford to be paying bills regularly to just sit with your untrustable connection and also waste our personal mobile data. On top of this, you guys have the most unprofessional customer service who just cut the call in the middle of the queries just cause they are incapable and not fully equipped to resolve the crisis. Kindly refund the money and do the necessary.

                                        I opted for 6+2 months plan in OCT 2019 by paying ~7500rs. But after using the plan for 4 months, the internet had stopped citing a technical issue near my area and you were unable to provide the re-connection.
                                        So, I had to disconnect my account in March'2020 and at the time, I was eligible for a refund of ~3500 rs due to your mistake and I have been following-up on the same issue from that point but to no use.
                                        Somewhere around September, I wanted to give you another try and requested for re-connection (You notified that the re-connection can be at no extra cost) but to no avail. You again informed me that the technical issue was not fixed and refused my re-connection. But again you didn't refund my money. So, around October'2020, I requested for a shifting connection as well and you Again you refused it saying that you can't provide connection at my new location as well.

                                        Now whenever I reach customer support, they say that the refund was approved long back and was sent to my bank account. But I haven't received any amount. I did check all my debit and credit cards statements but couldn't find any credit of that amount details. And now again a due bill was sent to me asking to pay 2498rs while my account was deactivated for the past 1 year.

                                        MY QUESTIONs to ACT:-
                                        1) What happened to my refund amount of 3500rs ? and why was this issue not being answered for the last 1 year ?
                                        2) If the amount was refunded to my account...Provide the bank details to which account you refunded and the transaction ID details. I can share with you my transaction statements as well if required.
                                        3) Why was I again sent a bill amount of 2498rs to be paid. when my account was deactivated for the last 1 year ?
                                        4) I was never given correct re-connection nor you completed my shifting request. But what for did ACT deduct such amounts from my account ?

                                        Awaiting answers all the above questions.
