I had the worst experience with ACT FIbernet. I applied for the new broadband connection and got a call from a salesperson and he said installation will be done definitely after 1 week of payment. After a week, I called the same person and he didn't lift my calls for two days and blocked my number after that. I went to a nearby act office, they said we working on it and assured that installation will be done in two days. Days passed and nothing happed. I had mailed to the helpdesk, contacted customer care but nothing worked out. 25 days passed and I visited the act office for three consecutive days and finally, a group of men reached me and installed a server box and told me that installation will be done in 24 hours. 1 week passed and nothing happened and I went to the ACT office for two consecutive days. Finally, after more than a month from the date of payment, one fine morning a group of men reached my home and started the installation and in a while, they said they forget an instrument and told that they'll come and finish the installation in the evening and left. After an hour or so I got an incoming call from the ACT office and they said it was not possible to provide a broadband connection to my location and told me that they will process my refund in a week. I was shocked, and called the same person again and explained what happened in the morning and he told some non-sense reasons with just a simple sorry. After successfully wasting more than a month of my valuable time they finished it with a simple word. Actually must to mention was the arrogance of their service people. This thing happened on Oct 15th and till now I didn't get my refund. I paid the amount for the new broadband connection through my credit card and paid an amount of 500 as a late fee for that. I want my refund to be processed asap.
ACT Fibernet customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
Then when I asked for Refund, I was asked to share Bank details THRICE already.
Every time i get assurance on phone and email and sms that it will be paid in 5-7 working days.
This is the THIRD TIME, 2nd after raising it on consumer forum where their agents said they will look into the matter.
Then they constantly call me asking me to take the complaint back but cannot assure of 100% service.
Still after more than a month, there is NO REFUND.
And complete silence. See their last email about payment. Please add it as evidence.
