I have disconnected my act fibernet about a week back after a lot of terrible experience.
I finally closed my connection and was expecting a refund. However, i didn't get any reply for 3 days. Hence i tried calling customer care only to find that there is no way to connect with customer care after disconnection. Deeply frustrated, i found the helpdesk contact email and wrote the following email to

I was using act fibernet for the past two years and recently on 23 june 2020 requested for relocation of my connection within the city in bangalore. However, the request was handled unprofessionally without any resolution. There was no communication from field engineers and despite calling the customer support for over 20 times it yielded no favorable response. All i was told was that the complaint has been escalated and will be resolved within 24 hours. From saturday till tuesday this was the same response given by customer care.
As internet is absolutely essential for my work from home setup, i requested for quick actions, but all i got was the same response with no sign of empathy to my situation. I got fed up with the support and asked for disconnection. The customer care tried their best to retain me but i found it absolutely pointless to wait any further. Finally they agreed for disconnection. Yesterday night i got a confirmation that my internet is disconnected due to delayed shifting.
During the call, i spoke with your customer care team, i repeated multiple times that i just paid 6+1 month plan by paying 6800 rupees and needed the refund of remaining amount. They said once the account is deactivated i have to call the customer care and register a new request for refund.
To my horror, i called today only to find that there is no way to connect with your team. The only way i can connect is ask for reconnection or just keep down the phone. There is no way to speak to your customer care team. What sort of trick is this? Is this even professional or ethical? In your app too there is no way to ask for refund.
First you disappointed with the service and now disconnected the internet services with fake promises that the customer should contact them after disconnection. But in reality there is no way to connect. Is this the way to deal with a long standing customer?
I need your support to resolve this matter at the earliest in helping me get the refund. Also explain how can a customer can reach your team for refund if not through this mail? If there is no facility available then this is a scam. Kindly be noted of the false promise to reach out to customer care after disconnection while in reality there is no such facility available is definitely a scam.

There was no reply and i got a message my query was closed as phone text.
Three days later, i escalated the issue to another support email id which is helpdesk. [protected]@actcorp.in
Again there is no response. I think this is a deliberate mental harassment and financial scam done by the company. I would like to not only get the refund but also bring a change in their refund process and have a transparent communication. This is completely a scam if every time a customer has to run behind these companies like a dog for retrieving our hard earned money. This is completely unethical and i am prepared to go any length in getting this addressed.
ACT Fibernet customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
Very GOOD Service HATHWAY provides. Less than 1/2 half for installation.
Support also very very good.

Would not recommend ACT to anyone.
