We had applied for a connection on 7th July '20 and had called Mr. Sobhan Eswar ([protected]), he asked for our exact location. After that he called us and explained the packages and then we proceeded with the application on their app. Mr. Sobhan guided us through the whole process till we made the payment of INR 4491 for a 3 month plan. We were told that it would be done by 10th July '20. Today, i.e., 9th July '20 we got a call from the field engineer saying that he cannot setup the internet in our apartment as our apartment has banned ACT Fibernet from the premises due to their past conflict. As per the field engineer Mr. Ravikumar Sudeep([protected]) ACT Fibernet staff had prior knowledge about this. Now Neither Mr.Sobhan neither Mr. Ravikumar nor the ACT Customer care are picking up the call so that they can assist with refund.

    Past a few months we face internet issues and most of the times the reason provided is power cut to the junction box. In the July of July I filed one or two complaints and today (9th July) there is again internet disconnect. Everytime the customer service representative asks us to wait for 24 hours and we never get a permanent resolution. Last month I had escalation to the nodal office as well once or twice. Kindly help us get a permanent resolution

      Hi

      I requested for a new ACT Fibernet connection, Mr Venkat processed my request and I made the payment on[protected]. Payment credited on[protected]
      On 1st july 2020, one of the technician said Server needs to be installed and it will take 2 days. After that no one came for installation.
      I tried calling/WhatsApp Mr Venkat no response (does not pick call nor responds to my messages)
      I have to call Customer Care everyday to get updates, from past 3 days they are saying it will take 2 days. I dont know, when that 2 day will come.

      Very pathetic service provided. I am thinking to cancel my request, refund my money.

      On 8-Jul-2020 they said it will take max 2 days for the installation.
      On 10-Jul-2020, they say it will take another 3-4 days.
      Worst part is the say, they will get back, but no call. We have to call customer care for every instance.
      Worst experience.

      I requested for connection cancellation, i get a message stating in another 48 hours they will reach out to get my bank details. I don't believe they will get in-touch with me to get my bank details for refund.
      I applied for Hathway today[protected] around 12:30 PM, by 7 PM got my connection installed.
      Very GOOD Service HATHWAY provides. Less than 1/2 half for installation.
      Support also very very good.

      Thumbs up for HATHWAY -- Speed also, has promised - 94MBPS download, 59 MBPS upload

      Would not recommend ACT to anyone.

        Hello

        I was shifted from chennai to my home town as n emergency. I couldn't
        Able to return to chennai due to this pandemic situation. I called up act
        Customer care on 5th july 2020 to suspend my service til i get back to chennai.
        They are tertning to pay the whole amount for july. I raised the complaint but they
        Didn't take it off. Without even using why should i pay the entire month
        Subscription amount? Till 5th july i will pay remaining amount i will not pay and
        Also i want to upend my service temporarily.

        With out using the service how could i pay for entire july?
        I have used till 5 july i can pay tat amount.

          Refund dispute is not addressed by the act refund team and the tickets were closed with out any intimation or call back

          I have used only one month of data out of 6 months act rapid plus 6m + 1m plan

          *plan start date 25th feb 2020 paid 6792 inr
          *march 21st requested for the relocation sr[protected]
          *not attended by the network engineers for more than 2 and half months
          * june 6th 2020 so the account was disconnected saying refund will be given for non usage months
          *refund of 2182.74rs received which is not correct
          * 'n' no. Of tickets are under my account
          *latest ticket no. Srsr[protected]

          Refund the rest of the amount,

          Or frankly info the customer that act fiber net is loosing the customer for the pathetic service and will not be able to refund the amount.

            Hello sir,

            We requested for the relocation in the month of june and also paid in advance for the june bill cycle which is rs.1398. They said due to some policies we'll not able to relocate the service and so we cancelled it. I have the credit of rs.652 on my account and they are not providing me the refund. They are doing scam and not willing to help me at all. Thy are saying I'm not eligible for refund as I'm a monthly plan user. They will not provide the service and they will say we'll not provide the refund taking my money. They are also saying the consumer complaint will not able to anything if you raise complaint because all are corrupted here in India.

            Sir see the calls are not even getting connected and theh are sending me that the request for refund has been resolved when it is was not it's really frustrating that even consumer complaint department is not able to help here worst of indian government

              We got a new connection from act on 05.07.20 and selected the plan chnact blast promo 6m 2m. While discussing about the plan to your marketing executive we confirmed that we had a router (Which we got for our shop which we had) but was not sure whether the model which we were having (Archer c20) would support 150 mbps speed. When asked your marketing executive she said that it will support. So we went forward and booked for 6 months plan + 2 months without router. Then the installation was done. While we started our work, we found that our network was slow and complained about this. The executive who came saw the router and said that this will not support 150 mbps speed instead it's a basic router. Now we have paid for 150 mbps speed but only using 90 mbps speed.

              Based on your marketing executive's advise only we went for 6 months plan without router. We are now requesting to provide us with the sufficient router which will support our plan.

              Please provide sufficient router as per your plan scheme. And we don't need one month free.

              If you cannot change the plan as per our requirement can you kindly proceed for refund of the amount we paid so that we can opt for another network.

                  It's been 10 days i did advance payment for new connection with act fibernet. No one is responding properly, i'm following up with them since a week, they are repeatedly telling that they will provide connection asap.

                  I did advance payment for 3 months.

                  Very poor response.

                    It has been more than a month that we haven't got any connection and no technician has come up to us to attach a wifi router. we have already paid 11000/- and the service is extremely poor. no one picks up our call. the helpdesk email is useless and the customer care numbers don't work either.

                        This is about the refund request for my Act account number[protected] | Cancellation receipt no.: SR[protected].

                        I have booked an Act fibernet broadband on 26th June by Paying ₹4491 for 3month with Free Router. And on the same day, I have canceled the connection due to some of the personal reasons and my Cancellation receipt no.: SR[protected].On 26th I called customer care to request a refund, so they advised it will take 7 working days for a refund and before 7 days it will create to my account. But still, I have not received my refund. Today when I called customer care, they advise they will escalate the issue to the billing team. The call center team does not even know how to resolve the issue, and It is not easy to reach customer service, after many attempts, the call gets connected and that too after a wait time of 15 -20 mins. Then also one is not sure if the customer service agent will attend the call or hang up without answering. Even after the escalation team is not trying to solve the issue. I have not seen such kind of pathetic services in my life and that too when it's linked to a brand like the ACT. Even the escalation team is not doing anything to resolve the issue.

                        The Act Fibernet giving a false commitment to the public, Most of the users are facing this type of issue. I request you to investigate and take this issue on high priority.

                        There are no calls from ACT fibernet, From Telecaller to Manager all are Frauds. On Monday I called for customer care for a refund. Early when I called they were saying it will take 7 days, and now there are saying 15 Days. Today the Act team as committed that I will get my Refund Today on 10.07.2020 but still there is no refund or a call from the ACT team. Its genuinely shows that the company no were interested to solve a customer issue. The company is doing scam and these are to be highlighted in the Social media.

                          My payment was done on 02.07.2020. My sales executives says my connection done by 1 or 2 days till now no further action for installation. I fed up with the false promises given by sales executive his name : priyadharshan subramani (Senior executive – sales) contact number ([protected]) he promised me for the connection but now he is not response properly in fact he is not pick my call. Very poor service i didn’t expect from act company. Today its self i called customer care they said maximum 2 weeks for installation. Why the sales executive lie to the customer?.                                 I have raised relocation request (Sr#[protected]) on 22-jun-20. And its been 15 days, no body from act team is addressing or responding to the request.
                                I have shifted my location and been without connectivity from such long time.

                                When i reach to customer support it takes 10 mins in queue. And after connecting they have no idea on whats going on. When the request would be addressed. They only mention that they do not know. And would arrange call back within 4 hours, but that has never happened.

                                On reaching out to nodal team/appelate authority: they also mention that it would be shorlty address with the auto reply message. And no body is bother to answer on call/email on the concern.

                                It has been the worst and horrible service that i experiencing with this provider.

                                If I don't get the issue resolved by 15-Jul-20. Then I would go with other internet connection.

                                And would escalate the issue to consumer court. To get justice on this.

                                  I already have an existing connection from act. I took a new connection of act broadband for my another home. I was told by their sales person that i'll be getting a 25% discount on my bill on existing connection (Offer provided for taking a new connection on same number). I was not given the offer and no billing discount. Their customer service number doesn't work. When i emailed them, they opened a ticket: sr[protected].
                                  After a day, they just closed the ticket. No one has contacted me since then. I re-opened it and they kept closing it without resolution. This happened almost 4 times.

                                  Need help as this looks like a fraud they are running. They provide some offers on phone and they don't fulfill.

                                    Hi'

                                    I requested a new connection to the ACT Fibernet . And got a callback from ACT sales executive Team leader - Dharasn . I made the payment (4, 3086/-) on ACT app on 02/07/2020 . After paying, one guy from ACT told me that my area needs junction box installation and will come back in day. After that no one came for installation and didn't provide any wifi router/internet connection as per the plan chosen. I am not able to...

                                      I required the act new connection on 24– 06–2020.

                                      I did not get a single call from act for 5 consecutive days, keep in mind i had already paid for the act blaze 3 month connection on 24th only,

                                      So i called customer care

                                      Here your problem starts if you are from bengaluru

                                      1. Number for act customer care is [protected], it disconnects 5 to 6 times you need to keep trying and is the first hurdle you will face.

                                      2. After connection to the call you give your connection mobile number then starts your second hurdle to connect with the call executive. You need to wait an average time of 10 minutes to connect with the call executive.

                                      3. After you connect to the executive you will face your third hurdle, the executive is not at all updated on the status of your connections so will only raise a internal ticket and give you promise of solving in 24 to 48 hours. I got the same promise. This was on 29th.

                                      4. On 30th the wiring guy called to install wiring and act box, he installed it on the same day and promised the router installer guy will come on same day to install router and connect to act. The router installer guy did not show up. I called him he promised he will do tommorrow and cut the call.

                                      5. On 1st i called him again he did not pick the call till 4 pm, after picking the call he told he cannot install that day because he was in marathalli and he will definitely install the next day before working hour.

                                      6. On 2nd called him again he did the same as the previous day did not pick up the call. So i called the customer care after connecting, the call executive raised an internal ticket. He picked the call at the end of the day and again promised he will come the next day definitely.

                                      7. On 3rd called him again he did not pick up in the morning, in the evening at about 5:45 pm he arrived near our home changed the switch box from a brand new one to an old one. Came and installed the router in the sense he just gave a jack to the wired connection and unboxed the wifi router (Tenda). Then he told some reason he could not do the connection he will next day before afternoon.

                                      8. The next day i. E today i called him at 1 pm, he is telling server is down will do tommorrow definitely. I called customer care, enquired with the executive about the server down issue she straight forwardly told me no such thing has happened and that she will raise an internal ticket regarding the issue.

                                      Summary: you need a week just to install a router connection from act to your home see if you cannot install airtel or jio. I request everyone to change your executive if you get the below executive, he is the absolute worst guy you can get.
